Ein wunderschöner Laden, dessen Name sich in der kompletten Einrichtung widerspiegelt, STILVOLL ist hier mit Absicht groß geschrieben. Das Essen ist geschmacklich HERVORRAGEND und die Gerichte werden schön angerichtet. Der Inhaber des Ladens ist sehr sympathisch und gibt alles, um den Wünschen des Kunden gerecht zu werden. Wir haben die Taufe unserer Tochter bei Fulvio gefeiert und ausschließlich Komplimente bekommen. Es war einfach PERFEKT von A bis Z.

Those in the know say that Frankfurt Airport is de facto the largest fishing port in Europe (it's true, it's the largest hub for fresh fish). L'Ancora in Bad Homburg is THE restaurant to experience (especially taste!) what that means. Big compliments to Fulvio and his team: no one in Frankfurt can keep up with you - and you also have that Italian family flair! Legendary! Encore l'Ancora!

Five stars! Perfect birthday at L'ancora: Yesterday I celebrated my birthday with my family at L'ancora in Bad Homburg and we were all absolutely thrilled. Excellent fish: I had already ordered a mixed starter plate with salmon tartare, tuna and other delicacies with the restaurant owner. The starter was to die for! For the main course we chose various fish dishes from the menu, all of which tasted excellent. Great team: The team at L'ancora is simply great. They were attentive, friendly and made sure we felt completely comfortable. Totally recommended: We can highly recommend L'ancora in Bad Homburg to everyone. The L'ancora restaurant enchanted me from the start. As soon as you step through the door you are embraced by the authentic atmosphere of Italy. The decor is elegant and cozy at the same time, with warm colors and rustic accents. What really impresses, however, is the food. Each dish is a culinary journey through Italy. The ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, and you can taste it in every bite. From the homemade pasta to the delicious pizzas, every dish is a taste experience. The service is also excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. They are always willing to make recommendations and ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. Whether for a romantic dinner for two or a convivial meal with friends and family, the L'ancora restaurant is always the perfect choice. Wonderful ambience, excellent friendly service, super delicious food: mixed starter platter, lemon risotto, Mediterranean swordfish and sea bream, plus an excellent Sauvignon from South Tyrol. Afterwards a homemade cassata at its finest and a perfect espresso.

We were spontaneously looking for a place to have dinner in the evening and ended up at L'ancora. It was very inviting, cozy and incredibly delicious. Gladly again at any time.

Had a very enjoyable experience here - the seafood variety on the menu is great. I recommend the four course fish menu (which in our case included the tasty tuna steak and the carpaccio starter which were particularly good). The atmosphere is pleasant and the wash rooms are really clean and well kept. The portion sizes are a bit small for the price in my view, but the taste is very good. Happy to return.

The restaurant is worth a visit. We were there twice and were mostly satisfied. Unfortunately I still have to make deductions. Not all dishes are so outstanding that they justify the price of a visit for two. You can hardly get away with less than 150 euros here for two people, including starters, drinks and tips. The side dishes are limited, so you won't be full for long. The fish is really very good, but the side dishes are unfortunately neglected in terms of taste. My dessert was not up to par with the rest of the dishes. You definitely have to step it up a notch. But if you are a fan of good fish, you can definitely try this place. I would have liked to give it 3.5 stars. Since this is not possible, I give it a half-hearted 4 stars.

Excellent food made with a lot of love (yes, you can taste that too), relaxed yet stylish and sophisticated atmosphere, very nice service lady, large wine selection, comfortable high chairs, tasteful decoration. Ein sehr herzlicher und aufmerksamer Chef, auch das Personal ist freundlich und ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ist frisch und sehr gut und wer frischen Fisch mag ist genau richtig hier. Klasse finde ich auch, dass das Wasser keine ewig lange Reise hinter sich hat, sondern aus dem Taunus kommt.

Ich war diese Woche im L`ancora Fischrestaurant mit meinem Freund essen. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend während unseres Aufenthaltes behandelt. Es gab zahlreiche Tagesempfehlungen. Die gereichten Gerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet. Alles hat wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der dazu empfohlene Wein hat bestens zum Essen gepasst. Wir werden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen.

Abgesehen von dem hervorragenden Essen, ist hier auch das Ambiente toll. Man fühlt sich immer sehr willkommen. Sowohl die Bedienung als auch der Chef sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Alles in einem bei weitem das beste Restaurant.

Tutto molto buono, un altro ristorante da aggiungere nella mia lista dei ristoranti in cui andare se sono in zona. Sono molto gentili e parlano anche italiano! Si trova proprio all'inizio della via centrale ed avendo l'hotel attaccato alla stazione in 5 minuti a piedi si arriva comodamente. Consiglio anche i dolci.

Ein Restaurant wie ich es liebe - Top Speisekarte - Top Bedient - hier gibt es 100 %. Wir haben uns super Wohl und Wert geschätzt gefühlt. Immer sehr Aufmerksam angesprochen. Das Essen - absolut Top. Preis-Leistung passt. Wer billig essen will, ist hier der falsche Gast. Wir kommen wieder....

Nach inzwischen drei Besuchen - als Paar, zu viert mit Freunden und als Familie mit neun Personen - bekommt das L'ancora eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Qualität der Speisen und Getränkeauswahl sind top, der Service ist entspannt und freundlich und die Preise sind fair. Atmosphäre im Lokal ebenfalls sehr schön, modern aber nicht kühl. Highlight war eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte für Vier mit Fisch und Meeresfrüchten - grandios!

Empfehlung in HG. Die Auswahl an Fischgerichten ist vorbildlich. Hatte Tunfischtatar und Schwertfisch. Sehr lecker!

Essen war gut aber die Portion könnte bei den Preisen doch etwas umfangreicher sein. Drei halbe Drillingskartoffeln als Beilage zu einer Fischplatte zum Preis von 31 Euro pro Person ist echt mickrig.

المكان جميل ومرتب ونظيف طلبت برجر وكان تعبان ولا اكرره ابدا المشروبات الساخنة جيده والهوت شوكوليت عبارة عن بودرة وليس حقيقي الحلويات جيدجدا وعندهم الذ بيض سكرمبلد ذقته بحياتي يعني بوفيه الفطور جيدجدا عندهم واكرر بوفيه الفطور

Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit gehobenem Ambiente, tollem Service und ausgezeichnetem Essen. Dazu eine ausgefallene Karte. Dass die Oriechette dann aus waren, war schade, aber nicht so schlimm. Wir kommen wieder. Allein der Limoncello (aufs Haus!) ist einen erneuten Besuch wert. Einziges Manko: Es gibt keine glutenfreie Pasta. Vielleicht noch nicht?

Man sitzt sehr gemütlich, der Service ist nett und wirklich kinderfreundlich. Tolle Weine zu fairen Preisen gibt es zum leckeren Fisch dazu. Komme gerne wieder.

Komme immer wieder sehr gerne. Hier stimmt alles incl. der Bedienung. Das Essen sieht nicht nur spitze aus, es schmeckt auch so. Beim Ambiente einen Stern weniger da der Außenbereich noch ein bisschen Liebe benötigt. Aber der Innenbereich ist einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Selbst die kleinen Hochtische für 2 Personen sind so gemütlich. Das sind die einzigen „Barhocker“ die ich lieben gelernt habe.

10/10 genauso muss das Essen sein.

This place is amazing. The food (obviously the reason to go to a restaurant) is out of this world, fresh, simply the best. The service is hugely attentive, friendly and any request is met with effortlessness and friendliness. The atmosphere is relaxed, stress free and perfect for a good meal. As for the salt shakers and menu, spotless. Everything is as it should be and we’ll absolutely be going back again soon. I’m already hungry thinking about it.

Wir hatten bereits ein paar mal das Vergnügen bei L‘ancora uns vom Chef persönlich kulinarisch verwöhnen zu lassen. Die Kreativität und hohe Qualität der Gerichte, geschmackvolles und einzigartiges Ambiente waren ein purer Genuss, der uns immer wieder einen perfekten Abend in Bad Homburg beschenkt. Freundliche Begrüßung vom exzellenten und zuvorkommenden Service und ausgezeichnete Weinempfehlung. Was das Essen angeht, gehen wir immer der Empfehlung des Chefs nach und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil, es ist ein purer Genuss. Durch den außergewöhnlichen und vielseitigen Geschmack seiner Speisen und den liebevollen und aufmerksamen Umgang mit seinen Gästen, haben wir den Eindruck gehabt, für einen Abend in Italien zu sein. Unser Sohn ist sehr wählerisch, was das Essen angeht. Bei L‘ancora wurde extra für ihn genau das vorbereitet worauf er gerade Lust hatte, auch wenn es nicht auf der Speisekarte stand. Was will man mehr. Großer Lob an den Chef und seine Mitarbeiter. Es ist beeindruckend zuzusehen, wie er seine Gäste mit seinem kulinarischen Kunstwerk begeistert. Eine tolle Atmosphäre. Sehr schöner Abend in tollem Ambiente, hervorragendem Essen und professioneller, sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Alle Speisen (vorwiegend Fisch) sind perfekt zubereitet und super lecker. Entsprechende Weine gibt es auch dazu.

Bereits die Räumlichkeiten beeindrucken. Schöne Tische und Stühle, Kerzen, Blumen und überall kleine Anker als dekorative Hingucker. Als Vorspeise begannen wir mit Fenchelsalat, der mit Birnenscheiben und Walnüssen serviert wurde. Köstlich! Der Fenchel schön knackig, die Vinaigrette pikant abgeschmeckt. Als Hauptgang bekamen wir eine saftige Dorade in Salzkruste, fein mit etwas Olivenöl beträufelt. Der Fisch schmeckte so frisch, als hätte man ihn gerade aus dem Wasser gezogen.Einfach perfekt gegart. Die Drillingskartoffeln waren mit kleinen Zwiebelchen vermischt worden, so dass das Ganze eine Mischung aus gekochten Kartoffeln und Kartoffelsalat war. Davon hätte man ganze Schüsseln essen können. Der Spinat war frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. Da die Portionen nicht gerade klein waren, mussten wir uns zu fünft eine Portion Tartufo teilen - sehr schokoladig und auf der Zunge zergehend. Mit einem Wort: Ein außergewöhnlich gutes, exzellentes Restaurant! Herzlichen Dank auch an den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service!

What a great find! We did not have a reservation, so we were really happy to receive a nice greeting and a beautiful table next to the window. I ordered oysters and a salmon for main course. The chef sent us welcoming snack. Portions are great size, so I was totally full when we left. I also liked the red wine I ordered with a bottle. Beautifully decorates restaurant. Super Restaurant Wir sind auf Empfehlung gekommen. wir sind sehr überrascht. Super essen Super Weinkarte Super Service. Wir sind neue in Bad Homburg wir werden uns Öfter sehen. Großer Kompliment

Aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen haben wir uns für dieses Restaurant entschieden. Wir kamen mit Tischreservierung und die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, nett und auch schnell. Aus dem Eff Eff wurden uns mindestens 10 verschiedene Speisen angeboten, welche nicht auf der Karte waren. Wir wählten einen ausgefallenen Vorspeisenteller mit Fisch. Thunfisch mit Algenkruste, Pulpo mit Aioli und Tintenfisch. Es war alles auf den Punkt zubereitet. Als Hauptspeise wählten wir Spaghetti Carbonara, aber ohne Schinken, sondern mit Thunfisch. Ein ganz neues Geschmackserlebnis. Dazu tranken wir zuvor Martini und zum Essen einen Rosé. Das Essen wurde abgerundet mit einem Espresso. Danach wurden wir auf einen Ramazotti eingeladen. Alles in Allem waren wir hochzufrieden. Nur ein Manko... Heutzutage sollte Wein entweder in geeichten Gläsern oder entsprechenden Karaffen ausgeschenkt werden. Leider mussten wir beobachten dass der Wein an den Tischen unterschiedliche Mengen beinhaltete. Trotz diesem "Kritikpunkt" 5 Sterne! Preislich ist dieses Restaurant schon recht hoch angesiedelt, aber aufgrund der Qualität der Speisen angemessen. GENERELL EMPFEHLENSWERT

Offenbar ist der Besitzer ein sehr kreativer Geist - das Ambiente ist geprägt vom Bezug zum Meer, jedoch ohne kitschig zu sein. So ist auch die Speisekarte voll von exquisiten Gerichten mit Fisch und Meeresfrüchte. Die Austern, der kurz gebratene Thunfisch und die Ravioli mit Hummer waren schlicht fantastisch. Wir wurden ausserordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam bedient, eine echte Wohltat! Weshalb war das Lokal nicht voll besetzt? Das fragen wir die Einwohner von Bad Homburg, nichts wie hin!

Hervorragend geeignet zuum Business Lunch. Hier folgten wir dem Tages-Menue. Feines Wolfsbarschfilet, vorab der gemischte Salat. Alles war prima! Aufmerksamer freundlicher Service.

What a thrill, after the Corona stay-at-home time, to go to a restaurant. And, we were lucky with our choice. “Lancora,” is relatively new in Bad Homburg and is certainly worth visiting. The food is really excellent. For example, a special of the day when we were there, was “guazzetto di tonno”; this was small pieces of cooked tuna in a deliciously spiced tomato sauce. Then we had branzino baked in salt. It was perfectly cooked and served with spinach and small new potatoes. Another of our party had liver cooked in butter and sage. Also excellent. For dessert we had crème Brulee which came with a small portion of tasty ice cream. The service was brilliant (imagine a waiter who speaks 8 languages!) and friendly. This is a restaurant definitely to visit.
