Food was very very nice and the server was soo kind Everything was good in this restaurant I especially recommend Chinese braised pork belly bao It was authentic Chinese cooked meat inside Also cheeseburgur dunplings was surprisingly good Never ate sth like that amazing Highly recommended

9/10 Actually good dumplings with different flavors, but the tables are very small, which is a pity

Super tasty. Fast and friendly service

We came across this cute little shop on Friday evening without a reservation and were absolutely thrilled with the food. The waitress was very attentive and helped with the selection. The dumplings were super tasty, always a pleasure.

First of all: The review has become a little more detailed because I really like the restaurant (approx. 2 minutes reading time - story time!). I was in Kassel on a day trip to Wilhelmshöhe Castle and the Bergpark and then fancied Asian food. During my research I came across the Dumplinghouse, which made a very good first impression. I shouldn't be disappointed. (Tip: You can park quite cheaply right in front of the restaurant.) Ambience: The restaurant is rather small in terms of space, but is attractively equipped and decorated; Atmospheric and relaxing music plays in the background. Due to the lack of space, I would recommend reserving in advance as a precaution. The shop still seems to be an insider tip, but that will probably change at some point... ;) Service: To be honest - I would prefer to give this point more than 5 stars. The other reviews also speak for themselves: the lady in black is a real asset for the store. I have rarely felt so well looked after, hats off! Extremely friendly and committed. (I also just noticed that her outfit, including her hairstyle, seems to be based on a character from HxH...damn! xD) Food: Of all the restaurants I've eaten dumplings in so far, this one is right up there with the quality. The baos are actually the best I've had the chance to enjoy so far. A tip for all spiciness lovers: Order the fried chicken with the “really f***ing spicy” option. Many restaurants don't dare to offer really authentic spiciness of their (national) dishes because they are afraid that negative incidents will cause them to fall on their feet. The chefs at Dumplinghouse have found a level of spiciness that may not necessarily blow away spiciness fanatics, but will definitely satisfy them. Respect, you dare! Plus, this fried chicken is not only delicious, it also has by far the best breading I've ever seen. As another review stated, it's "like chips." When I'm back in Kassel, there'll definitely be a check-up visit - with friends! ;)

Wonderful dumplings, comfy atmosphere, quick service

Incredibly delicious!!! (The dumplings too)

A great shop with delicious dumplings interpreted in a western style. The only drawback: you smell clearly like a restaurant afterwards ;-) The dumplings are homemade, very tasty and you can order your choice of rich sauces. I particularly like the tofu bao bun and I also really like the vegetarian dumplings. The owner is usually in service himself and is super nice. Despite the decentralized location, or rather it's simply not within my natural radius, I really enjoy going to the Dumpling Haus. It's finally open again after the summer break. It's not exactly cheap in terms of price, but it's definitely worth it.

Dieses Restaurant ist eine echte Bereicherung für Kassel. Man kann dem Chef zuschauen, wie er mit viel Liebe die Dumplings mit der Hand herstellt. Und die schmecken! Genauso wie die Dips und Saucen, die gut abgestimmt sind auf die Füllungen. Schön, dass es auch vegane Varianten gibt. Obwohl ich kein Fan von Au Reginen bin, bin ich total begeisterten den Dumplings mit Auberginenfüllung. Klare Empfehlung.

We tried the dumplings and baos and were thrilled. Super tasty and exciting combinations. It's great to try out sauces because there's always one on hand. Finished off with a delicious dessert, it was a great evening for us thanks to the extremely friendly and attentive service!

While looking for Asian food, we came across Dumplinghaus. The staff is super friendly and does a great job. Especially the young girl with black hair. A great service person, super friendly and attentive. The food also tasted great. The only drawback: I find the dough of the dumplings to be too firm. Because I already have experience with dumplings in Asia, I find the dough to be very thick/firm. In contrast to the dumplings, the bao buns were very tasty.

Dumplings taste okay and were presented a bit carelessly on the plate. There was a dead maggot in my tea bag. Unfortunately it also spoiled my appetite.

Wonderful and an enrichment for Kassel. The little “Maultaschen” or dumplings are super delicious. Since you can order 4 or 8, I recommend 4 per variety. This means you can enjoy 2-3 different ones at the same time. There are really great sauces to go with it and yes, you should listen to the recommendations that are given when asked. Tip: leave room for the gigantic dessert! The people who work there were very nice, uncomplicated and relaxed. The only drawback is the seating. There is no backrest. Be sure to reserve, the room is tiny. Still very cozy and with the outdoor area a great atmosphere. Parking wasn't a problem either. We'll definitely come more often now. I walked across Kassel to the Dumplinghouse on a Saturday evening in the bitter cold and -5° 🥶 because of the many positive reviews. And I was not disappointed. I visited the Dumplinghouse without a reservation and simply grabbed the nearest table after entering the store. A few minutes later I was visited at the table by a charming lady with a menu in her hand, and after a mischievous: "... you didn't make a reservation but we'll manage it 😉" I was allowed to order. And the food was a dream. The dumplings anyway, but in my opinion the star is the bao buns. The shop is small, the service is great and the menu is simply great. The walk through the cold was worth it and I highly recommend the shop.

We spontaneously went to the Dumplinghouse with friends. After a short introduction to the ordering concept, we were served the dumplings after a short wait. Due to the diverse selection, there should definitely be something for everyone here. The dumplings are highly recommended in terms of taste! We were particularly impressed by the Christmas creation with Christmas goose, red cabbage and gravy. The service was first class. Friendly, attentive and relaxed according to the atmosphere. The only “criticism”: the restaurant was fully booked when we visited. Due to the small and tightly packed room, the volume increased quite a bit. This made it difficult to follow conversations. It would also be great if the seating had a backrest. With an average stay of around 3 hours, sitting becomes quite uncomfortable over time. I recommend reserving a table before your visit.

The ambience takes a bit of getting used to. The lady in service is very, very friendly and accommodating. The dumplings and boas are also extremely tasty. Clear recommendation! ‼️

La comida es deliciosa, buen ambiente, los postres deliciosos. Los meseros atienden muy amablemente y te hablan en inglés si lo requieres. No se deben perder el probar la salsa de chili oil y el postre de mango crumble.

Das erste Mal dort gewesen und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Bedienung war super nett und hat uns sehr gut beraten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren an einem Mittwoch Abend dort zum ersten Mal essen und kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen nur bestätigen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, auch wenn es nicht ganz preiswert ist, wenn man einen größeren Hunger mitbringt.

Di passaggio a Kassel durante un roadtrip, abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo locale. I dumplings sono deliziosi e personalmente ho apprezzato tantissimo la scelta di diverse varianti vegane! La ragazza che ci ha accolto e servito è stata gentilissima. Prezzi in linea con la qualità dei prodotti. Lo consiglio!
