Highly recommended for a cozy evening for two with good food. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Unfortunately, access by car is a bit tricky.

I was invited. We had a very nice evening. Service is top - but asking twice during the meal if everything is OK is enough. However, I wouldn't visit the restaurant alone because it's a bit more expensive, which is beyond my budget. Nevertheless: great restaurant, nice staff, good food and delicious homemade iced tea.

Were here for the first time today. The service was very competent, friendly and quick. The food was super tasty. The ambience is sophisticated The price-performance ratio is reasonable. We'd love to come back!

Very tasty food, familiar things like schnitzel, prepared in a new way. Lovingly prepared, also a feast for the eyes, including a greeting from the kitchen. The homemade iced tea is highly recommended. Also important: Very friendly service. We were completely satisfied.

Nach den Beitrag im TV wollten wir es mal selbst ausprobieren. Und nach unserer Erfahrungen kommt leider ein "nie wieder". Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und zum reservierten Tisch gebracht. Erste Getränke kam echt zügig. Die Süppchen waren lecker. Essen war nicht mehr richtig warm. Die sehr dünnen schweinefiletscheiben waren tot gebraten. Das Steak war so mittelmäßig und auch nicht ganz heiss. Das schnitzel war okay. Getränke gab's nur schleppend. Nachdem wir uns geäußert hatten wurde die Bedienung zusammengeschissen von der Chefin so das es die Gäste es mit bekommen... ein nogo. Für Frierkatzen im Winter nicht im Wintergarten sitzen es war sau kalt und zügig.

Never again After the TV report, we wanted to try it out ourselves. And in our experience, unfortunately, the answer is “never again”. We were greeted warmly and taken to the reserved table. First drinks came really quickly. The soups were delicious. Food was no longer really warm. The very thin slices of pork fillet were fried to death. The steak was so mediocre and not very hot either. The schnitzel was okay. Drinks were slow. After we had commented, the waitress was scolded by the boss so that the guests would notice... a nogo. For cold cats, the winter garden is not very cold in winter.

Super tasty food, in a pleasant, cozy atmosphere, with very nice and attentive service, at a reasonable price. What more could you want? 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Delicious food, great ambience and very nice staff! Today we had lunch with 5 people (between 5 and 89 years old). The guest room is very modern and tastefully furnished. There is something for everyone on the menu. Upon request, our little son received a children's portion of schnitzel with fries. There was a delicious greeting from the kitchen, which made us very happy as this is no longer done in many restaurants today. The service is very nice and accommodating. We had garlic bread as a starter, pork fillet, sunflower schnitzel, turkey schnitzel, stuffed schnitzel and a Viennese style schnitzel as a main course! Without exception, everything was fresh and very tasty! The breadings are crispy! We were very satisfied and will definitely come back! Thank you very much for this good first impression 👍

It's a shame that we only found out about this great restaurant today. The only thing that is difficult here is perhaps the stairs and finding the entrance door. Once you're inside, you can rightly enjoy everything else and indulge in culinary delights.

Really great restaurant, also suitable for large groups...service very nice and friendly, prices normal...food very tasty... One star deducted for the smell in the toilet... Otherwise everything was great.

Goose food: It was advertised to us as the best goose in northern Hesse. I can now sign this. Unfortunately you can't give this 6 stars, which would be absolutely deserved. Everything is great!

The red cabbage was a little over-spiced with cinnamon. The sauce was a bit tasteless. But the kicker was the greeting from the kitchen. Chives oil with fresh baguette bread 🤩

Starting with the super delicious homemade lemonade, to the greeting from the kitchen (bread to dip in homemade leek oil), the dumplings with ahler worscht and cooked cheese, right up to the main course - the schnitzel filled with ham and brie with leek knöpfle and cream sauce Finally, a fantastic chocolate ice cream! I have rarely eaten so well! We live 2 hours away and my son (10) really wants to come back! Fries and wild garlic schnitzel were also very good! The whole thing was rounded off by super attentive and very, very nice service!! Thank you for the great end to the summer vacation! ❤️

I had a wedding as a DJ a few weeks ago and can fully recommend the location! Very nice operators with consistently delicious cuisine! There were four of us there and everything was excellent: the food is perfect, the service is very good and the staff are really very nice. Of 50 restaurants, I have never had such a delicious homemade iced tea, I can only recommend it.

Were in Kassel on the way through. As a family of four, we found a place here even after 9 p.m. Service was very friendly from the start. Homemade iced tea was refreshing and delicious. All four main courses were delicious. The vegetarian mozzarella ravioli (part of the daily selection) are also recommended. The menu is rather short and the entrance is not entirely clear, but it's worth it. Despite the dozens of restaurants we have visited in our city alone (Nuremberg), this one is now at least in my top 3.

Das Essen war einfach großartig, mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl und exzellenten Geschmacksrichtungen – ein kulinarischer Genuss für die ganze Familie. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass das Restaurant sehr hundefreundlich ist, was für uns als Hundebesitzer ein großer Pluspunkt ist. Unsere Vierbeiner wurden herzlich willkommen geheißen und fühlten sich ebenso wohl wie wir. Insgesamt ist es das beste Restaurant in Kassel. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

The Parmesan soup with the leek oil and the sausage pieces is a poem!!! The wait staff are very friendly, attentive and really look after you. You feel welcome and comfortable here. Top recommendation! The beer garden is also beautifully rustic with a view of the Fulda.

Very inconsiderate towards the neighborhood, I mean you can celebrate or have weddings but you shouldn't stay late into the night (2 o'clock) It's so loud that it disturbs the neighborhood. You should show some consideration for children and older people and maybe turn down the bass a little at 11 p.m. or inform the neighborhood and not have loud bass on Friday and Saturday until late at night. It's very, very rude !!

We recently celebrated our wedding at “Zum goldenen Lauch” and were very happy with our decision. With a varied selection of everything from antipasti to meat dishes, there was something for every taste and everything was prepared very tasty. It was an all-round successful celebration and there was a lot of celebration on the dance floor. We would celebrate at the Goldener Lauch again at any time and would like to thank the whole team for the great evening.

When the kitchen knows what it is doing and the service works with joy and competence, eating becomes an experience. Innovative food and drinks in a cozy restaurant/bar/pub...it was great. Price-performance ratio definitely fits here. We would love to come back.

I can't understand all these great recessions at all. Because of them we were in the golden leek. The much-vaunted off-the-menu recommendations were not and are not available, not even when asked. The food is fryer food. Nothing more, nothing less. What puts me off personally: The hut is so loud that you can't hear the person sitting next to you and have to shout at each other. No thanks

Tolles Restaurant, gemütlich eingerichtet! Mega tolles Essen! Alles super frisch und sehr außergewöhnliche Kombinationen. Die Parmesansuppe hat einen Oscar verdient! Mega! Sehe, sehr netter und unheimlich bemühter Service! Immer wieder gerne, schon allein wegen dem Gruß aus der Küche! Gleich nach dem ersten Besuch sind wir zu Stammkunden geworden!

Besonders hervorzuheben sind das junge, symphatische Serviceteam und, dass auf die vielen Unverträglichkeiten meiner Frau immer eingegangen wird. Es gibt stets eine Alternative und das ist nicht überall selbstverständlich. Großes Lob an Küche und Service !!!!

We were there both in January for the 'Crime Dinner' and in February for the 'Valentine's Menu'. We found both experiences to be EXCELLENT! The crime dinner was very funny and entertaining. The menu is appropriate and delicious. The Valentine's menu exceeded our expectations. It was a more than wonderful evening! We felt extremely comfortable and really enjoyed the evening together. So far the food has always been high quality, well prepared, tasty and sufficient. Particularly worth mentioning are the friendly, motivated young ladies in service and the fact that allergies and intolerances are always taken into account! Thumbs up for this restaurant, always happy again!!

Das "Zum goldenen Lauch" wird von einem Ehepaar betrieben: Er kocht, sie bedient und führt das Restaurant; eigentlich ist sie fast eher so etwas wie eine Art Moderatorin. Das Essen ist nicht nur a) ausgezeichnet, sondern darüber hinaus b) auch noch preislich absolut angemessen. Anlässlich des Valentinstages hatten wir ein Sechs-Gänge-Menü und der Koch konnte seine Qualitäten unter Beweis stellen! Der ohnehin sehr positive Eindruck wurde durch das junge, aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Service-Personal nochmals unterstrichen.

Beforehand there was an amuseguele, white bread and homemade oil, which was also very tasty. We'll definitely come back again.

It was my first time here at the Goldener Lauch and I was very impressed. A varied menu with such interesting new combinations and creations. You want to try everything out straight away. I started with a delicious Winter Spritz and a Greek Rye Henner. Really great! Even if it was ultimately too powerful for me. But I didn't have to eat everything. But what if it's so delicious...? Auf der Suche nach einer Lokalität zum Gänseessen sind wir auf den Goldenen Lauch aufmerksam geworden und haben uns spontan entschieden, diesen, wenn auch etwas abseits der Innenstadt, auszuprobieren - es war ganz fabelhaft! Es gab ein Menü mit einer Gänsebrühe, der klassischen Gans + Klößen, Rotkohl, Grünkohl und reichlich Soße (wurde gerne nachgereicht) sowie einem Bratapfel + Eis. Das Essen hat gemundet, hervorheben möchte ich aber den Service: nicht nur freundlich, sondern durch die Bank durch herzlich-fröhlich, mit Spaß bei der Arbeit und super aufmerksam. Allein deswegen möchte man wiederkommen! Auch, wenn der Lauch auf den ersten Blick etwas außerhalb liegt, sollte man sich hiervon keinesfalls abschrecken lassen - mit dem Auto super einfach, aber auch - wie in unserem Fall - mit den ÖPNV sehr leicht zu erreichen. Es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt und wir werden definitiv wiederkommen; ob zum Durchprobieren der feinen-kleinen Karte, für eines der Event-Dinner oder aber - und hierauf freuen wir uns jetzt schon - einen Abend im Biergarten. Danke für das Gute Essen und die Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns sehr wohl bei euch gefühlt!

Wir waren heute das erste - aber bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal im goldenen Lauch. Der Service ist unfassbar freundlich und das Essen war auch wunderbar. Wir hatten ein gelungenes Gänsemenü. Der goldene Lauch ist zwar ein bisl "abseits der Innenstadt", aber der Weg dorthin hat sich sehr gelohnt. Ich freue mich schon auf den Biergarten im Sommer :)

Wir sind immer wieder begeistert von dem tollen geschmackvollen Essen. Die Speisekarte ist schön übersichtlich und für jeden etwas dabei. Hier wird Saisonal gekocht und so gibt ist es immer wieder neue leckere Gemüsebeilagen. Wir haben noch nichts gegessen was nicht super lecker geschmeckt hat. Nicht das einerlei was es oft woanders gibt. Der Service ist auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Vom erstenmal als Gast bei einer Feier sind wir infiziert vom Goldenen Lauch und freuen uns schon auf ein nächstes Mal. Weiter so

Hier wird allerfeinste gut bürgerliche, deutsche Küche geboten. Als Geheimtipp sei der „Roggenhenner“ empfohlen. Auch das Gänseessen war spitze. Hinzu kommt ein sehr freundlicher und gut gelaunter Service. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Alles super gut! Personal extrem freundlich, serviceorientiert, flexibel, hilfsbereit und wahnsinnig nett! Die beste Gänsekeule, die ich (meine ich mich zu erinnern) jemals gegessen habe, mit krosser Haut und trotzdem zartem, saftigem Fleisch, abgerundet von einer phänomenalen Sauce. Klöße sehr gut. Grünkohl super lecker und der Rotkohl eine absolute Gaumenfreude! Perfekter und einzigartiger Geschmack, der so hervorragend zum restlichen Menü gepasst hat, dass es einfach nur eine Freude war.
