Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und der vegane Teller war hervorragend. Seni ist eine sehr sympathische Frau und man merkt, dass sie Herz und Erfahrung in ihre Gerichte einfließen lässt. Ich komme definitiv wieder!!

Super süß! Essen hat geschmeckt, wie ein Himmel auf Erden. Der Service hat einen ebenfalls sehr wohl fühlen lassen.:)

Eine nette, liebenswerte Dame führt dieses Lokal mit viel Herz und einem strahlenden Lächeln, jedes Mal wenn ich dort bestelle. Ihre Gastfreundschaft ist wirklich wunderbar! Das Essen ist mehr als lecker und gesund. Ihr besonderer Kaffee wird Ihren Tag versüßen. Es vermittelt die Atmosphäre, als ob Sie zu Hause essen würden. Sehr empfehlenswert :)

Die Besitzerin ist vielleicht die beste, freundlichste, sympathischste Restaurant-Besitzerin in ganz Deutschland. Die kümmert sich um alle ihre Kunden/Kundinnen, als ob sie ihre Kinder wären. Das Essen? Einfach köstlich. Das Fleisch war zart (hatte Doro Wot bestellt), alles war perfekt gewürzt, einfach tipptopp. Pro-Tipp für die Leute, die sehr gerne scharf essen (und ich meine scharf-scharf, nicht deutsch-scharf): Fragt nach "Mitmita". Das ist einfach die Bombe. Kartenzahlung wird akzeptiert, aber es gibt manchmal Probleme mit dem Kartenleser, also besser Bargeld mitbringen.

Das beste äthiopische Essen in Frankfurt! Wir haben bereits andere Restaurants ausprobiert, aber kommen jedes Mal wieder zu Seni zurück. Die Auswahl ist sehr gut, die Preise sind angebracht und es schmeckt sehr lecker. Außerdem bestellt man immer direkt bei Seni. So hat man einen direkten Austausch mit der Inhaberin (und Köchin), welcher immer sehr herzlich ist.

Die Frau als Mitinhaberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und absolut sympathisch.Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und Mega lecker.Daher sehr zu empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. :-) vielen herzlichen Dank für die tolle Bewirtung und für den Moment sich wie im Urlaub zu fühlen.

Super leckeres Essen, aber leider für die kleinen Teller sehr teuer finde ich sehr schade, da man so foodtrucks, gerade wenn sie gut sind, unterstützen möchte…. aber das sind echt Restaurant Preise, im Mini Portionen Format gerade die „gemischte Platte“ ist wie ein Kinder Teller für 20€ knapp ne Fritz Cola 0,33 3/4€ on top ist echt Crazy

Ich war vor ein paar Tagen dort, weil mein Partner Lust auf äthiopisches Essen hatte. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und half uns bei der Auswahl des Gerichts. Der Service war hervorragend; das Essen kam schnell und es wurde dafür gesorgt, dass wir es drinnen schön warm hatten, obwohl es draußen kalt war. Das Essen war phänomenal. Mein Partner hatte ein vegetarisches Gericht, ich Hühnchen. Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Seni ist eine supernette Gastgeberin, sehr herzlich und einladend. Wir haben Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt und es ging schnell. Es gibt tolle vegane Optionen und es schmeckt köstlich!

Köstliches Essen. Ich habe schon einige äthiopische Restaurants ausprobiert, aber dieses ist mit Abstand das beste. Ich gehe jedes Mal, wenn ich in Frankfurt bin, sehr oft dorthin. Absolut empfehlenswert! Außerdem ist der Manager sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dieser Ort ist ein echter Geheimtipp.

Meine Fotos werden dem Ganzen nicht gerecht, aber dieser Laden ist einfach der Wahnsinn! Ich konnte einfach nicht aufhören zu essen. Ich hatte Doro Wet bestellt, das besteht aus Hänchenteilen, drei Injeras und Salat. Normalerweise esse ich eher kleine Portionen, aber das Essen bei Mama Mia war mit Abstand das beste, das ich bisher in Deutschland gegessen habe. Das Essen ist so lecker und herzlich, und der Koch ist es auch. Bei dem Angebot müsste sich vor dem Laden eine lange Schlange bilden. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch unzählige Male hingehen :)

The delicious aroma of fine food in a cozy atmosphere! The injera is the best I've ever bought in Frankfurt, and I buy it regularly. Vegans and meat lovers alike are in the right place here!

The food was good, the server was friendly, and a bit surprised when a tip was added. I liked that. The food took a moderate amount of time to prepare—not very short, but not excessively long either. The ambiance was surprisingly pleasant for a place that looks more like street food. The food was very good.

The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. The portions don't seem that generous at first, but you'll definitely be full. To be on the safe side, you can simply order an injera (flatbread) to go with it. The service is very warm and friendly. In summer, you can also sit in the courtyard, which is lovely. In colder temperatures, we've only picked up food so far, but there's a heated pavilion, which I find remarkable for street food! We always enjoy coming here :) Seni also does catering, and we'll probably book that for an event in the future.

Ever had appam and chicken curry from Kerala, India. They have the same thing called injera and chicken. It's sooo good.

For someone healing their relationship with food and body, this wasn’t just trying a new cuisine - it was choosing joy. Choosing nourishment. Very delicious food. Something for both meat eaters and vegans. You can also drink delicious home-made tea. I tried Shiro and Ethiopian tea. Very nice lady running the place.

We took a break here on our bike route and sat comfortably outside in the spring sun. The mixed and vegan platters were very tasty, the owner is very welcoming. Seni's Streetfood is a highlight in my old hometown and I would love to come back!

It was my first time eating Ethiopian food and I have to say I was thrilled. We made a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the owner Seni. There was a heated and covered tent in which we ate our food. It was very cozy and warm. The food was so delicious. We traditionally ate it with our hands and sourdough bread. We also drank Ethiopian beer. Overall a very sensual and tasteful and hospitable experience. Highly recommended and great value for money. Kind regards, we'll come back when we're in Frankfurt :)

This Ethiopian restaurant was a real highlight! The food was incredibly delicious, full of authentic flavors, and the injera was just perfect. Seni, the owner, made me feel like I was visiting friends. Your warm manner and the lovely conversations made the evening special. I love this little EastAfrican place hidden in the centre of Rödelheim Frankfurt, where you can chill with a delicious cup of Ethiopian coffee and East African sweet dumplings. Or even better have a very tasty Ethiopian beer and freshly prepared vegan food aswell as excellent meat dishes. I am coming from the opposite end of the city every week because I love the positive vibrations and being welcomed with friendliness and African hospitality. I enjoy taking my friends from all over to this little oasis of relaxation, feeling like being on vacation, a very special place to me. And the food is so yummy and always best quality yet not expensive. In these times of social distancing the original setup with little tents is perfect to stay safe.

Unfortunately I can't really understand all the good reviews, the food is nowhere near as good as the many Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurants around the main train station. In addition, the food is even more expensive and at the same time the atmosphere is very simple - just street food.

Unbelievably sympathetic woman, very friendly and kind. The food is splendid and surprisingly sits very lightly in the stomach. The flavours are rich, yet balanced. The homemade spice is so good that my girlfriend and I had to buy a jar from her when we left. 10/10 recommend.

A wonderful place with an incredibly nice lady and the best food. We sat inside, very comfortable and at home. We'll be back and we're already looking forward to it. Highly recommended for culture connoisseurs and people getting to know each other!

Been here multiple times and always enjoyed my stay. All the staff is very nice and will make sure will feel home. The food is great and any dish can be adjusted to your preference. During colder times it’s quite cozy in the tent, but I would definitely recommend stopping by during a nice summer night in the outside area.

Frankfurt's best kept secret? Whenever I'm in the Frankfurt area, I go out of my way to drop by for at least one meal. Back home in the DMV (DC/MD/Va), we have a vibrant Ethiopian community, and so Ms. Seni's authentic healthy food and smile always makes me feel right at home!

Seni's Ethiopian Streedfood is a great place to go for authentic Ethiopian food. The selection of dishes (with a vegetarian option) is limited to a few, but they are all the more delicious and prepared with a lot of heart. Since we couldn't decide, we ordered the mixed platter, which was super tasty. Requests for adjustments can be made to Seni without any problems. I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice Ethiopian meal.

Selten so gut gegessen. Mama Seni hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir immer genug auf dem Tisch hatten und hat uns genau erklärt, wo das Essen herkommt. Qualität war nicht zu übertreffen und die Wärme, mit der wir empfangen wurden, hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, Essen von Mama zu essen. Mit liebe zubereitetes Essen (auch Vegan!) Und eine Frau, die es liebt, Menschen gutes Essen zu servieren. Ich werde definitiv noch oft herkommen!

Seni hatte ich bei dem Afrikanischem fest 2023 auf dem Rebstockgelände entdeckt und war sofort von ihr und ihren selbst zubereiteten Gerichten begeistert. Da ich fast alle Afrikanische Restaurants in Frankfurt kenne und besucht habe, habe ich Seni's Angebote mit den spitzen Restaurants gleichgesetzt. Die glutenfreie Injeras sind sehr lecker und die vegane Gerichte spitzenmässig zubereitet. Was Seni sehr angenehm macht, ist, dass Sie ihre Gäste sehr sympathisch und offen empfängt. Sie geht auf die Wünsche der Besucher unkompliziert ein, so dass man auch seine extra Zutaten bekommt :-) Man kann ihr Engagement und Liebe zu ihrem "Street-Restaurant" förmlcih von ihrem Gesciht ablesen!. Wenn das Wetter zulässt kann man unter den Sonnenschirmen gemütlich sitzen, ansonsten gibt es im Hofzelt genug Platz um seine Bestellungen genüsslich zu sich nehmen kann :-) Ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal hingehen.

Bouleverdant. Tout simplement incroyable, les deux meilleurs repas de ma vie.cuise autantique a échelles familiale avec un sérieux et un s'avoir faire entier, littéralement la cuis d'une maman. Des goûts dépaysant et divin. La qualité d'un restaurant étoilé pour le prix d'un Street food. Une expérience a ne PAS raté. Tout simplement enivrant.

Ich finde das Essen köstlich, da ich mit meiner ganzen Familie bei Seni's Ethiopian Streetfood war. Sie sind sehr Gastfreundlich . Wir möchten gerne immer wieder Hingehen.

Ich hatte Shiro (vegan), gestampfte Kichererbsen mit Gemüse und dem klassischen Injera, laut der sehr sympathischen Köchin eine Neuheit auf der Karte. Mein Vater hatte sich Doro Wet bestellt, das Hähnchenfleisch fiel vom Knochen, die Beilagen haben ihn ebenfalls begeistert. Dazu hatten wir beide hausgemachten Tee. Das Essen war in nichtmal 10 Minuten fertig. Es war wunderbar. Zwischen einem Kiosk und einem Dönerladen findet Ihr einem kleinen Hof einen wunderschön hergerichteten Foodtruck mit Sitzgelegenheiten draußen und drinnen, es ist sehr schön dekoriert. Gönnt Euch! Ich werde auf jeden Fall öfter hingehen!
