We made reservations for 6 people on Mother's Day and unfortunately we really ruined our day here. The restaurant was almost half full and we had to wait a good 1.5 hours for our food. Of course we asked, it was full and very busy. It's questionable what the waiting times would be like if the pub was almost full. The asparagus cream soup was watery and the taste was indistinguishable from a packet soup. One star for the waitress who handled the criticism professionally and canceled the soup. The fact that the promised dog water and the straw for the junior were forgotten right at the beginning is only mentioned in passing. We also sat in front of our empty glasses for a really long time without any questions. The food was otherwise okay and the attentive service staff were at least friendly!
The starter and main course were very tasty, the portions could have been a little larger for the hefty price. The atmosphere seemed rather cool, we missed flowers or lovingly set tables. The host's goodwill, even if it shouldn't be taken for granted, a small drink on the house at the end would have been nice and would have made us happy!
A cute little restaurant with a very friendly owner.
We had tagliatelle porcini and a pizza salami. Both are very tasty and the prices are more than reasonable. You'll certainly notice that the restaurant is also a delivery service, but that doesn't detract from the culinary enjoyment.
We got a small dessert for two on the house with the espresso. We were very happy about it.
We were surprised that almost all tables were reserved on a Monday. We would therefore recommend a reservation.
Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants to experience the atmosphere of Klesterbach, beyond the hotels and the proximity to Frankfurt airport.
An ideal place for dinner the day before an early flight.
It's a nice environment, but my advice to those who come for the first time is to do not reserve a table in front of or near the quiet entrance door. Also, an advice to the owners, for God's sake, make the entrance somewhere else, right next to the stage, it is very bad, and you have to pay a bill of 30 euros, let me enter, have a beer or a tea, for your information.
Danger! The pizza had moldy peppers on it, and the replacement pizza wasn't even cooked through. I've never experienced anything like that, it's just a total impudence what they're doing there. Disaster. Lasagna barely edible, obviously a frozen product like everything else there. We will NEVER come back, the gentlemen there would be better off at the health department. Unbelievable.
