Nice ambience, soft tablecloths and cloth napkins. I found the side dishes of potatoes and grilled vegetables to be a bit bland in taste. Bifteki was salty. At least there is a small side salad here. Price okay. Service averagely friendly.

Wir kommen schon seit einigen Jahren jedes Jahr hierher zum Essen aber dieses Mal sind wir wirklich enttäuscht worden . Der Service war ok aber im Restaurant war es sehr kalt denn im Februar wenn es draussen 15 Grad ist finde ich persönlich eine Heizung nicht verkehrt . Das Essen war nicht besonders und das Steak war für jemand der einen guten Appetit hat sehr klein . Jedenfall werden wir nicht mehr dahin gehen . Die Toiletten liessen auch zu wünschen übrig in der einen war kein Blatt Papier vorhanden und in der anderen na ja 😔😔

Thank you very much. I thought it was perfect. Good and friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, dining room not too big, delicious tzatziki as a starter and lamb cutlets with fried potatoes and vegetables, everything was very tasty, especially the lamb, I didn't have to season anything. Price performance for me is absolutely good, I know it is more expensive. I would recommend.

We were there for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. Staff nice and not intrusive but that's 10 stars. The food was super tasty. We'll be back.

Ziemlich geschmacklos und das Fleisch war zu trocken, vor allem das Gyros. Der Salat wurde ohne Dressing serviert, müsste man selbst anmachen.

Been here several times, both privately and with customers. Quality is excellent and the service is attentive but not intrusive. I'd love to come back.

Ordered today via Lieferando… Order was accepted within 1-2 minutes… Requests to call upon delivery were responded to without any problems… Food arrived within 30 minutes, which I find really remarkable. Driver was extremely personable The grilled garlic pepperoni and a gyro with fries were ordered. Pepperoni were still super crunchy and juicy… Fries were completely fresh, which is not something you should normally expect from deliveries. But with the short delivery time, this is now possible. Gyros was super tasty and fresh. You probably won't get the same price-performance ratio anywhere else in Kelsterbach. The portion is more than filling. And as a little icing on the cake there was even a salad that wasn't even ordered... Definitely again, thank you!

We had the mixed grill plate...the meat was very well fried, the vegetables were still crunchy and the potatoes were good too. Unfortunately negative: the salad wasn't dressed, you had to create the sauce like you would at home (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper). You would expect a restaurant to have homemade salad dressing! Otherwise the beer wasn't at such a good temperature (not cold enough). The atmosphere is otherwise nice and cozy.

a very good greek restaurant near frankfurt airport. we had dinner there before flying to vacation. all was perfect, a ver fine place. a lot of good plates and possibilities on the menu card and a kind service. next time before vacation we will certainly eat there again. absolutely recommandeable

We were guests for the first time. We enjoyed it, but unfortunately it lacks the warmth that we know from the Greeks. Everything seems a bit cold. What you should definitely do: update the menu online! Doesn't correspond to the prices in the restaurant. The current prices are still absolutely okay in terms of price-performance ratio, but the guest should know what they are really getting in terms of price... on average €2 more per dish as of 07.24 compared to the website. We'd love to come back, but the place doesn't appeal to our "regular Greeks", but it's all a matter of taste.

We really enjoy this place. We have been her a handful of times and each time we are pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere, both I side and outside is wonderful. The staff is friendly and the food is great! The portion sizes are quite large and the price point is a bit better than other restaurants in the area.

Excellent cuisine! I have never eaten such fresh and delicious Greek dishes anywhere in Germany. The gyros were crispy and perfectly seasoned, the salad was fresh, the cola was freshly tapped. Great! And very fair prices too. We'll be back soon with reinforcements :) Parking is possible right next to the restaurant.

Nice atmosphere, friendly welcome & very attentive service - immediately felt at home. Appetizer plate was just great!! Grill plates also good quality & simply delicious in taste. Not what it used to be for a long time. Two waiters served the entire store in one weekend and you could order just as often - hardly at all. Food came really late and cold, but that was the smallest problem. Simply inedible. Drinks stretched, only tasted like water. Proud prices. Definitely never again.

You can but you don't have to, sorry it wasn't ours. The best thing was the mixed starter plate. The main course of the Greek for three really wasn't enough. Sorry. Cold and rather poor in taste, the meat was very dry.

Das war der Wahnsinn, was an Mezze (Kalt-warme Vorspeisen) geliefert wurde. Man war eigentlich schon gar nicht fähig die Hauptspeise zu genießen. In meinem Fall war es Souvlaki: endlich kein EU-Magerschwein, sondern es schmeckte schön saftig. Die Reste mitnehmen kein Problem. Superfreundlicher Service.

Great food, that's the most important thing. But the ambience of the restaurant could be worked on, especially the seating is a bit tight. OK for a romantic dinner... really a hindrance when it comes to a business dinner. The service is absolutely TOP.

We ended up here by looking for a restaurant near the airport because our friends had a 5 hour layover at the airport. The restaurant even opened for us (10 people) 45 minutes earlier and we were able to have drinks and chat in peace and inspect the menu. Everyone liked the food very much (my Bifteki was at best too dry) and the price-performance ratio was right. We had a starter platter for everyone at the front and then everything was eaten across the board. The wine list was very manageable, but the dry white wine tasted great and the red wine drinkers were also satisfied.

Fine Greek cuisine, with reasonable prices and close to Frankfurt Airport. We've been dreaming of this for a long time in vain (good wine 0.2 for 4.50 and not 7.50 euros like elsewhere). The non-alcoholic drinks are also not expensive, many starters and desserts are under 5 euros. Everything is beautifully presented, with very good quality and good staff!!! Dining requests will be taken into account. I have never had baby calamari (Kalamarmarakia) with caper sauce served so well! The No. 4 eggplant salad is prepared according to the original recipe and is not added with mayonnaise or other ingredients. We can recommend the restaurant (reservation makes sense)!

We had a nice lunch in this restaurant. The waitresses were very nice and despite me being a bit clumsy, my Prosecco was replaced without any trouble. A new fork and napkin were also replaced. The food tasted really good. The mixed starter was a one with stars. Everything is freshly prepared and reasonably priced.

Wir waren mit den Kolleginnen und Kollegen zu einer Weihnachtsfeier dort und obwohl wir etwa 30 Personen waren, kam das Essen sehr schnell. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hat uns alle zu unserer Zufriedenheit bedient. Alles in allem sehr schön dort!

Leider war es sehr laut im Gastraum. Ansonsten war aber alles gut, das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Der Wunsch nach griechischen Nudeln wurde erfüllt. Mir hat auch sehr gefallen, dass es Stoffservietten gab.

Das Gyros war sehr lecker in einer guten Qualität. Die Kombination mit dem Gemüse und Kartoffeln kannte ich so noch nicht, hat aber sehr gut gepasst und mal etwas neues im Vergleich zum Standard „Pommes“. Dazu wurde ein Beilagensalat serviert sowie Olivenöl zum „selbst würzen“. Zubereitet wurde die Bestellung prompt und auch mein Sonderwunsch (ohne Zwiebeln) wurde berücksichtigt. Die Cola war über dem Eichstrich gefüllt und angenehm temperiert. Der Uzo zum Schluss ging aufs Haus, super:) Ich komme gern wieder!

Schönes kleines Lokal mit angenehmem Ambiente, sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamem Service und vor Allem sehr guten Speisen - der Vorspeisenteller Alleine war schon ein Gedicht, aber die Grillplatten und Spieße waren etwas ganz besonders - Einzig eine gegrillte Leber habe ich auf der Speisekarte vermisst. Ansonsten war es ein sehr angenehmes Erlebnis und ich werde bald wieder kommen

Really amazing food! Probably the best Greek food in Germany I’ve had. The calamari was divine! I really enjoyed the Aubergine with tzatziki too. We just ordered 7-8 starters as our meal and shared and it was perfect.

Das Gemüse und das Fleisch kamen leider aus dem Ofen und nicht vom Grill. Hatte keinerlei Röstaromen. Kinder bekamen leider als letztes ihr Essen. Sehr schade

War hier mit Kunden essen. Service , freundliche Bedienung und fix dazu. Essen war gut. Wir mussten nicht lange warten hätten aber besser zuvor reserviert. Ging dennoch gut. Qualität ist gut. Parken ist aber nicht einfach. Man nimmt ec andere Kreditkarten. Nur kein American Express.

Die Auswahl an Vorspeisen und Hauptgängen lässt keine griechischen Wünsche offen und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Lokation ist schön eingerichtet und durch verschiedene „Ebenen“ und Räume ein bissel aufgelockert. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Für den 5. Stern/Punkt in der Gesamtwertung, müsste der Service jedoch ein bissel aufmerksamer sein…

Wir haben das Restaurant Taverna Der Grieche aufgrund der guten Empfehlungen ausgesucht und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir haben uns für Gyros entschieden. Das Fleisch schmeckte gut, die Kartoffeln und das Gemüse ebenfalls. Der Salat dazu war frisch. Zusätzlich haben wir auch eine kleine Portion Oliven genommen. Alles sehr lecker. Wir haben uns wirklich wie in Griechenland gefüllt. Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

I have been here before the pandemic, it was a good restaurant. I returned after 2 years and I was amazed. It might be my bad memory, but I think it is better now. Although it was a warm day in mid-April the outdoor seating was not yet open. I made myself comfortable inside. Very nice decoration, classic conservative, and pleasant clean straight lines. Not overly fancy as some greek restaurants overdo it. The service is impeccable. Food is top quality, fresh, and well prepared. I had the grilled baby calamari and the Gyros. All was delicious. I could see the generous plates served to other guests. Everybody was pleased. Very reasonable prices. If you happen to be in the area it is worth a stop.

Extrawünsche werden zuverlässig, schnell und problemlos erfüllt. gepflegte Atmosphäre mit Leinenservietten, Kerzen. Sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Hervorragendes griechisches Essen, traditionell, bodenständig und raffiniert, wie man es möchte. Alles frisch. Super Preis/-Leistungsverhältnis. Ausreichend Parkplätze (eigene und öffentliche) direkt vor der Tür. Bahnanschluß nah am Flughafen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Restaurant ist mit allerbestem gewissen zu empfehlen. Alles top!
