Das Restaurant ist laut telefonischer Anfrage seit einem Jahr geschlossen!!!! Sehr schade ich war da früher ab und zu mal essen.....

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel rooms. We had booked the lower rooms for the 10th grade graduation ceremony. Unfortunately you can only rent the restaurant this way at the moment, there is no daily business. But the ambience is wonderful, the location right on the Main, the food was excellent and there are also enough parking spaces.

A quiet boutique hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. We were disappointed to find the restaurant is permanently closed.

The connection from Frankfurt main station is with DB (long-distance train or regional train), via the train station at Terminal 1, to Kelsterbach train station (e.g. S-Bahn 8) and a walk of 850 meters and/or with tram (due to the rail strike), and/ or buses (e.g. line 73 to Kelsterbach-Schlossweg) possible. Line 73 is a few steps away from the GRÜNEN BAUM. The accommodation, with a restaurant when open, is on the Mainprommenadenweg with tastefully landscaped green areas (behind the house), in the old, beautiful town center in Kelsterbach. We had a large room, facing the bank, on the 2nd floor (sloping ceiling), with a bathroom. There is a 3-door wardrobe, shelves, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, armchair, table, stool (see photos). The Breakfast, from 6:30 a.m., is sufficient and good (even without salmon). The nice lady served us. This is a good way to start the day! Everything is clean and well maintained. If you are looking for another restaurant, you can also find this one nearby. If you really want to jog, you can do that in both directions along the Main. The hotel has a few parking spaces behind the house for guests. What more do you want!

Been there every now and then, now about the job. There were a lot of us, service was correspondingly demanding - it went great! Food (selection predefined) was delicious. Even better in summer because it's right on the water (30m).

The shrimp Karpatschoe was very delicious a shout out to the chef. The ambience, service and drinks were very, very good. Would recommend the restaurant. A very nice Greek restaurant. I was very satisfied. Polite hospitality, the ambience is wonderful. The price-performance ratio is justified.

Ich war gestern auf Empfehlung dort zum ersten Mal zum Essen! Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und der reservierte Tisch war schön eingedeckt! Die Bestellung von Essen und Getränke wurde zügig umgesetzt mit ausführlicher Aufklärung und Empfehlungen zu den griechischen Gerichten! Das Essen war nach 20 min. schön angerichtet serviert worden. Während des Verzehr des Gericht wurde zweimal nachgefragt ob alles schmeckt und ausreichend vorhanden ist! Das Essen war schön warm und schön angerichtet! Außerdem hat es Super geschmeckt und war super gewürzt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Jeder sollte sich auch einen Nachtisch gönnen! Die ist nicht nur für den Gaumen, sondern auch für das Augen ein Hammer! Alles war sauber und gepflegt! Note: sehr gut +, bestes Griechische Lokal in Rhein-Main

Wij hadden geboekt via bookingcom. We kwamen aan en we zagen op een papiertje dat het restaurant gesloten was. Dat was erg jammer, want we hadden net een 15 uur vlucht gehad en keken erg uit naar rustig in het hotel eten en verblijven. Op de website was dit niet vermeld. We kwamen binnen en een dikke oude man staarde ons aan alsof we vreemden waren die zijn huis binnenliepen. Hij vroeg wat we kwamen doen. Het leek alsof we onwelkom in iemand sjofele huiskamer terecht waren gekomen. We werden amper aangekeken. Een jongere heer nam uiteindelijk een beetje moeite om ons een kamer te wijzen. Alles oogde wat viezig en sjofel. De kamer was helemaal niet zoals op de foto’s. Ook oud en slordig opgemaakte bedden. En dat voor 135,-. We vroegen of het mogelijk was een biertje te drinken, daar hadden we echt zin in. En aangezien de oudere heer ook al flink wat op leek te hebben, zou dat vast geen probleem zijn. Nou, wel dus. Ook een drankje was niet mogelijk. We zijn ter plekke uit gecheckt en naar een andere (wat een verademing) veel gastvrijer hotel vertrokken. De locatie van zum gruner baum is prima, maar ik zou niemand aanraden hierheen te gaan.

They have few rooms above the restaurant. I stayed here for a night after a long flight. The service was great, I reached there after the standard check in hours closed but they waited for me and helped me check in. The room I stayed in was small cozy and well maintained. It had a coffee machine. The location is really convenient to reach from the airport and there is a river with good view to walk around. I would definitely book it again

Sehr schön gelegen, trotz Regen kann man gemütlich draußen sitzen und die Umgebung genießen. Bedienung sehr nett und auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Fleisch auf den Punkte gegärt und gut gewürzt. Gerne wieder.

Lekker gegeten. Zeker de Tzatziki viel heel goed in de smaak. Cuisson was perfect, mals vlees. Erg fijne plek aan de Mainz op een mooi groot terras. Kortom, heel goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Gutes Essen, auf der schattigen Terrasse ein schöner Blick auf den Main. Freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service.

Lange nicht da gewesen zum Essen. Service fast übertrieben nett, kam eher nicht so authentisch rüber. Große Cola abgerechnet, wir hatten nur eine kleine. Zu spät gemerkt. Essen lecker. Aubergine zur Vorspeise etwas zu teuer.

Von der Begrüßung übers Essen bis zur Verabschiedung ein rundherum stimmiges Erlebnis. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, durften uns einen Tisch von mehreren gezeigten aussuchen. Kaum saßen wir kam eine Servicekraft mit den Speisekarten und wir konnten bereits die Getränke bestellen. Auch die Essensbestellung ging recht flott. Das Essen war sehr lecker und heiss. Der Biergarten unter den großen Kastanien mit Blick über einen Parkplatz zum Main ist echt toll. Das Essen war zügig am Tisch und geschmacklich einwandfrei. Auch beim Nachtisch gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Immer wieder gerne. (Wir hatten Mousaka, Gyros und ein Rahmschnitzel. Als Dessert Creme Brulée und Blätterteig mit Vanillegriess gefüllt und einer Kugel Vanilleeis)

Wir haben wieder sehr gut dort gegessen. Und der Sonnenuntergang, mit dem vorbeifahrenden Lastenkahn am Main, macht die Location einfach unvergleichlich.

Hi旅館的樓下是一家希臘餐廳，佈置得非常美。當然也是旅館老闆經營的。 由於下午吃了很好吃的提拉米蘇，所以晚餐無懸念，就是這兒了。 六點一開門，客人就不斷進來了，我也是其中之一，我就住樓上啊! 店員早就認識我了。 服務員先點上的一支蠟燭搞搞氣氛。然後推薦我吃魚，講了一大堆，我也不清楚是甚麼魚，於是隨便挑了一個，說第三種魚，老闆說選的好，就高興地走了。此外，老闆還推薦我喝匈牙利牛肉湯(Gulaschsuppe)。 很快地，先上了牛肉湯和麵包。這匈牙利牛肉湯的湯不多，全是燉煮碎了的牛腩，湯非常熱，好吃到爆。麵包有二種，也是熱騰騰的，一種是白麵包，一種是有顏色的麵包，裡面有許多堅果，空口吃就不錯，但配上牛肉湯的滋味就更好了。我倒是不知道希臘菜也有這道匈牙利牛肉湯，不過煮的實在非常到位。吃完湯，其實幾乎已經飽了七成。老闆看我湯喝完了，便連沒吃完的麵包，都收走了，我也來不及阻止。 隨即端上了主餐，一條整隻的海鱸魚。這魚多年前記得曾經在國王湖吃過。但這隻更大一些。魚的肚子裡面放了粗鹽、香草與檸檬，然後用烤的來料理，魚的外皮香脆，但魚肉鮮嫩無比，真是好吃啊! 這道菜有專有名詞，叫做Lavraki，是希臘式的烤地中海海鱸魚 (Greek-Style Roasted Mediterranean Sea Bass)的意思。這就是道地的希臘菜色了。 幾樣配菜搭配這魚，也是恰恰好。好吃。 吃完飯，房間就在樓上，還真是方便。開始期待明天的早餐了。哈哈!!

Wir hatten es als Überbrückung für unseren Flug von Frankfurt nach Kuba ausgesucht.War eine gute Entscheidung ,sehr schön am Main gelegen Ruhig ,doch central.Buslinie zum Flughafen fast vor der Haustür und leckeres Essen, sehr zu empfehlen.Parken auch möglich für eine Gebühr während der Reise. Hotel aber ungeeignet wer körperlich eingeschränkt ist.Kein Aufzug und enge steile Stufen.

Für besondere Anlässe lassen wir uns dort verwöhnen und genießen eine einzigartige Gastfreundschaft und eine hervorragende Küche. Danke an das gesamte Team.

Schönes Ambiente, großes Angebot, guter Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋 kann ich nur empfehlen.

Hotel fort agréable à 5mn de l'aéroport. Petite chambre très propre et belle salle de bain. Parking gratuit. Le restaurant est excellent.

Nettes Lokal. Gut gelegen aber durchschnittliches essen zu erhöhten Preisen auf das wir auch noch über 1 Stunde gewartet haben obwohl das Lokal überschaubar besetzt war.

Das Essen ist einfach super! Das Essen wurde über Buffe angeboten, und war für eine größere Gesellschaft gedacht. Die Speisen waren alle erste Klasse! Ich werde hier mit Sicherheit privat wieder kommen! Griechisches Restaurant Erster Klasse! Ubdate: gestern privat das Restaurant besucht und war alles wie Erwartet in bester Ordnung und Qualität!!

Das Essen ist vorzüglich Sehr leckere, außergewöhnliche und ordentliche Gerichte werden hier serviert. Beim Essen kann man nichts aussetzen alles war sehr lecker. Ob es die Vorspeisen waren oder die fleischgerichte oder Thunfischfilet oder auch der Nachtisch. Alles sehr lecker gewesen

Eines der tollsten Restaurants in den ich die letzten Jahre war. Essen sehr gut und Service sehr gut.. Wir werden auf jede fall wieder dort hin gehen. Preis-Leistung war auch voll okay.

Nachdem zuerst das falsche Essen kam, war es dann aber ok. Wir haben aber schon besser griechisch gegessen. Lokal war sehr voll und der Geräuschpegel so hoch, dass man sich kaum unterhalten konnte. Für die gebotene Qualität zu teuer.

Ich bewerte jetzt nicht, dass es aufgrund der ganzen Weihnachtsfeiern sehr überfüllt war, dass liegt in der Saison begründet. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker, trotz dem es so voll war, waren die Wartezeiten sehr moderat, man musste nicht zu lange warten, das Essen kam auch sehr zeitgleich bei allen 10 Personen am Tisch, wir waren rundum zufrieden.

... lange im Voraus Tische bestellt, letztendlich eine extrem eng bestuhlte Tischreihe an einem anderen Platz zugewiesen bekommen, völlig überforderte Bedienung und unmögliches Verhalten, man muss bis zu 50 Minuten auf ein bestelltes Getränk warten (trotz zweimaliger freundlicher Nachfrage) Ein Essen wurde serviert wobei alle anderen fast fertig waren. Eine Flasche Wasser bestellt, eine halbvolle "hingeknallt" bekommen. Service geht völlig anders. Man fühlte sich nicht willkommen sondern eher " "Kunde droht mit einer Bestellung" Auf keinen Fall in dem nächsten Zeitraum wieder.

The waiter recommended me to take the lamb steak, on the side some (very few) veges and boiled baby potatoes. The meat was extremely tender, well cooked, a great combination with the gravey which was served. Amount of vegetables was minimal, too minimal. Baby potatoes were very tasteful. Price was €22,- not cheap for German restaurant, only improvement point was amount of veges. I will come back to the restaurant for sure! Thank you

Great lunch for 5 on a Sunday. Plenty of free parking at the back along the river with a nearby playground for kids. Greek restaurant with excellent menu choices and cool decor inside. Excellent service also. We had several lamb dishes which were excellent. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

I was taken to this restaurant by a colleague of mine whilst in Germany. We were made very welcome and the menu was varied with very courteous and professional staff. The food wa sdelicious and tasted very fresh and the ambience of the location was great. A real pleasure.

I had traveled all day and was staying in the hotel upstairs. When I arrived everyone was very friendly and really made me feel welcome. I ordered schnitzel and a beer and both were terrific. I must say this is the best overnight layover I’ve ever had. I highly recommend.

Zum Grünen Baum in Klein Auheim, Hanau where we held our Christmas party dinner. The Restaurant was all set perfectly in Christmas ambience. We had a wonderful satisfying delicious dinner from salads to main course and the soup in a very interesting small bottle and to desserts. The Restaurant also have plenty rooms for a small to a big group diner´s. The servers were all very accommodating. In front of this resto, is a Church and there at the right side is also a Zum Grünen Baum Hotel where you find the parking area. In March would be here again for my bdate ....

I had high expactations. I love fish. We ordered Clamari and grilled fish. The fish was not fresh, dry and overcooked accompanied by a dreadful sauce. The Greek starters and the Calamari were acceptable. Wine good. Price... 25 eur per per person. When the waiter asked for our opinion we said that fish did not mmet expectations and that was overcooked. He denied it and we asked to mention it to the Chef. They invited us to a two small and nice dessert on the house. I cannot it recommend it althought I read good critics about this place. I cannot ignore the fact that I have some knowledge about quality and food that fish was out of order.

Superb restaurant...lovely ambiance..we went for dinner..they serve traditional German dishes as well as Greek...very homly family run restaurant along the river.known for its fish dishes.had a special roast goose dish..value for money..five of us went.we spent about 120/€ with drinks...

One of the best Greek restaurants I've been to. The menu was extensive with all the choices for all diet requirements and personal taste. Right by the Main River, the restaurant ambiance was stunning. We had al fresco dinning in a beautiful summer evening supper with a big group of 12 guests. Everyone had a great time and awesome food. Everyone enjoyed the variety of alcoholic drinks. The service was quick, pleasant, and very courteous. Would highly recommend the restaurant if you're in the area. Cheers!

The restaurant is very well located close to the river Main. The restaurant has a parking area which is free from 4:00 p.m. onwards. The food was excellent and very tasty. The food is freshly cooked , therefore one should give them enough time to cook. The staff are very friendly. The price for the food is moderate although the restaurant is quite close to the Frankfurt airport and the city. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

We had a 25 year reunion at the Zum Grünen Baum, Gaststatte. The food was tasty and affordable, not pretentious. The place also has a hotel. The location is on the Main river.

we accidentally found this hotel and restaurant while driving away from airport while refusing to pay exorbitant hotel rates near Frankfurt airport. Our daughter and granddaughter had an morning flight out the next day. Owners were most helpful...let me see room before we decided...menu was...

Great location, meals and staff. The quantity is getting less year by year and the prices are equal but the meals are funtastic.
