This was our second visit, and we're still thrilled. The food – steak, burgers, and dessert – was absolutely top-notch. The staff are incredibly friendly and clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction, which they obviously succeed in doing. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The decor is not only appealing but also cozy. The menu isn't overly extensive. Anyone who likes steak cooked on a hot stone will probably be happy here. Personally, I'm not a big fan, as the stone tends to peel and burn on the outside while you're eating it, as I observed at the next table. Some diners might also dislike the smoke and smell, and they'd be better off choosing a different place. It doesn't bother me, as I expect that kind of thing in a steakhouse. I also found the meat served everywhere to be too pale. Of course, that might be a matter of taste; the restaurants I usually go to serve "dark," aged steak. So I ordered a burger. It was served quickly and tasted good overall, but unfortunately, it was just average. We weren't asked how we wanted the patties cooked, which is unacceptable for a burger and steakhouse, especially in the Frankfurt area. A shame. I also found the prices to be significantly higher than usual. For example, a tiny pot of truffle mayonnaise costs a whopping 6 euros. My colleague and I, who come from "smaller" cities like Düsseldorf and Essen, found this a rather disappointing experience. There's definitely room for improvement.

A very good steakhouse. Great food, excellent service. Unfortunately, as far as possible, other guests were smoking in the dining room without being told off. At least the windows were opened. But in my opinion, that's not up to date these days. At the very least, incoming guests should have been asked if they wanted to sit in the smoking area.

I'm really positively impressed. The food was truly a 10/10. We were given a private dining room, and the service was truly excellent. We'll definitely be coming back again.

We were a group of about 10 people there for dinner. Initially, everything was fine. Starters and drinks arrived promptly and at the same time. But the main course was absolute chaos. Everyone except two received their food, while the other two (including me) only received the side dish. The main course then took another 20 minutes to arrive. In other words, everyone else had finished eating, and the other two were trying to fill the time with the side dish. The service here completely failed, as they didn't even ask if they should bring everything together. I won't be visiting this place again, as this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. All the other dishes were fine, except that the rump steak was cooked well and not medium as ordered. But hey, my colleague didn't want to complain. For the prices they charge, this wasn't good value.

The server couldn't tell me where the beef came from! US beef, Argentinian beef, Sinnertal beef, etc. in a steakhouse—that's unbelievable! The meat was tasteless, unfortunately.

For me, this is the most delicious food we've eaten in Germany in the last two years. Everything is fresh, delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are great. Unfortunately, there are very few places in Germany where the quality of the food, the service, the atmosphere—simply everything—is equally at the highest level. Delicious burgers and nice ambience.

The burgers were delicious, and the portions were generous. The value for money is very good. The homemade iced tea and spritzer are also very refreshing. The service is very attentive, and the staff very friendly. The atmosphere invites you to enjoy yourself.

We ate here for the first time. I had the rump steak with classic fries. It came with herb butter, aioli, and the house sauce. You can tell the dips are homemade. Overall, the food was really delicious! The service was also super friendly and competent! The only downside for me was the smoke from the lava rocks, as there's no proper ventilation. It's rather unpleasant for people with breathing problems like asthma. All in all, I highly recommend Frankie's Steak & Burger House!

The welcome in the beautiful, tastefully decorated restaurant was warm and friendly. The selection of dishes appealed to us, and the information provided by the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. From the salad to the excellent steak with its homemade sauces like the "house sauce," aioli, herb butter, and mayonnaise, to the side dishes like fries and the truly divine dessert, the kitchen unleashed a firework of culinary magic. The kitchen team was also incredibly friendly. I think it's a really cool idea that you can grill your steak on a hot lava stone, but unfortunately, if some people do this, it creates quite a bit of haze in the dining room over time. Nevertheless, we definitely recommend this excellent restaurant, where every dish is worth every cent. If we're ever in Kelsterbach again to visit the airport, we'll definitely make a reservation for you!

By far the best fish sandwiches on the island! The sandwiches are freshly baked and deliciously crispy, and the fish tastes fantastic. Frankie also offers a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which I tried and found delicious. People with celiac disease are also in the right place here, as he offers many gluten-free dishes—which, as far as I know, are almost nonexistent on the island! So, a big recommendation! Very tasty and good snack!

I visited this very authentic and delicious steak restaurant on July 17, 2025. Both the great food and the friendly waitress were my highlights. Her smile made my meal taste so much better. Wow. Best burger ever. Everything tasted good and looked very nice. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and I can't complain about anything. The service was very friendly and really took care of us. I'm thrilled. The lava cake at the end was also the best I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, I live far away and would love to have another restaurant in Karlsruhe so I can eat there more often. So, really, no complaints.

I haven't had such good food and service in a long time. I highly recommend a burger (as a double ☺️). The side dish was also very tasty. Of course, you pay for the quality, but it's worth it. They gave me an espresso on the house, which I only saw afterwards and would have paid for. 👍🏼 I'll be back if I'm in the area for work.

I placed an order through Lieferando, which was initially confirmed and then canceled over an hour later. No one called me, and I didn't receive an email (other than that the order had been canceled without any explanation). No attempt at communication. According to the restaurant's opening hours, the restaurant was open, yet no one was available, either by phone or email. I can't comment on the quality of the food, as I didn't receive anything. It's no good to me if the restaurant goes along with this kind of thing and then you have to deal with it on an empty stomach during your lunch break...

A restaurant visit that will remain negatively etched in our memories for a long time – even though we actually enjoyed going there often, not because of the food, but because of the incredibly rude behavior of the manager. The bald man who apparently runs the place manages to nip any trace of hospitality in the bud within seconds. You're greeted with a look as if you've lost your way, instead of being welcomed as a paying guest; we were literally greeted from head to toe with a rather disparaging look. Particularly brazen: Even though there was still over an hour until the official closing time, we were openly and unequivocally asked to leave – "We have to cash out and close now" after we'd only been sitting there for 15 minutes, a clear "time to go" signal. This is not only disrespectful, but simply unprofessional. You can feel every minute that this man has no desire to entertain guests. This translates into the entire atmosphere in the restaurant: cold, tense, and unpleasant. Anyone looking for a pleasant evening should definitely steer clear of this restaurant. It's a shame about the location – but we've unfortunately noticed this gentleman on a number of occasions. The rest of the service staff, on the other hand, has always been nice!

Menu with quite a selection of burgers, with options of sauce and side dishes. For fries, there are also different types that you can choose, so more can be shared with friends. Burger bread was tasty when brought to the table and ingredients inside were fresh. I love jalapeño and I like how it’s presented. Onion rings were also good!

Wir kommen immer gerne mit den Kollegen ins Steakhouse. Diesmal konnten wir kurzfristig die Plätze erweitern, die telefonische Abstimmung war freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir hatten wieder einige Burger und Steak auf dem Lavastein. Letzteres immer ein Highlight und super, wenn man einen Sitzplatz vorne im Wintergarten hat, der sich gut öffnen lässt :) Geschmacklich sind alle Gerichte top, Soßen oder Beilagen können individuell gewählt werden. Der Kaiserschmarren zum Nachtisch hat die richtige Größe, wenn man noch etwas Süßes im Nachgang möchte. Der Service besticht durch Aufmerksamkeit, immer professionell und auf Zack. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant daher bedenkenlos weiter, egal ob für Paare, Familie mit Kindern oder auch als größere Gruppen für wertvolle Stunden zusammen.

We always enjoy coming to the steakhouse with our colleagues. This time, we were able to expand the seating at short notice, and the phone consultation was friendly and uncomplicated. We again had some burgers and steaks cooked on lava stone. The latter is always a highlight and great if you have a seat at the front in the conservatory, which is easy to open :) All the dishes taste great, and you can choose your own sauces or side dishes. The Kaiserschmarren for dessert is the perfect size if you want something sweet afterward. The service is attentive, always professional, and on the ball. We therefore recommend the restaurant without hesitation, whether for couples, families with children, or larger groups looking to spend quality time together.

We had the Rumpsteak and the File on lavasone. Awesome meat, nice sallad and fries. Lovely staf. 😄

Visited the restaurant after the Instagram video and the positive reviews. We had reserved a table, it wasn't prepared and they quickly pushed something together after we stood at the door for five minutes as ordered and not picked up. One service was very attentive and friendly, another was very bored. Ordered food and got drinks. House lemonade is delicious, then the burgers, basic price €13, everything else is extra. Fries €5.90, so the salad was omitted. Even mayo and ketchup are charged separately. Burger very dry, meat cooked to death, little sauce, not particularly good, but consistently overpriced. Large burger restaurants do this much better, bigger and tastier. Then the visit to the village... disgusting smell next to the kitchen... Conclusion: great on the outside, poor on the inside and inadequate value for money. I would be happy to pay the price, but then the quantity and quality have to be right.

Great atmosphere, nice staff. But the hamburger was a bit off. The meat was over cooked and dry. The salad and tomato tasted old.

Eating has declined over the last few months. Burgers sometimes very dry. We've eaten far better burgers there. Salad was quite good, but unfortunately nothing special. For the size of the salad, two slices of bread is a bit small. Additional bread is charged at €3. Kaiserschmarrn was a fluffy pancake with powdered sugar. Unfortunately it wasn't really warm and there was a ready-made vanilla sauce. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio isn't right at all. Unfortunately, quality is getting worse and worse, but prices continue to rise.

Absolutely recommended, we have been there a few times now, whether as a couple or as part of a birthday party (9 people) and have tried our way through the menu. The service is very good, everyone is very friendly and accommodating, the shop is actually always full and you should make a reservation in advance, especially if you are planning to go to several people.

Food was AMAZING ! But we had a bad experience when being offered repeatedly for a huge plate of desert that we did not wanted . I was the only one of my 3 group that wanted a tiramisu and the service insisted that he wanted to impress with a “surprise “ I said no thanks you but he insisted , at this point you think : do I’m in restaurant or is this the market . Anyhow it took a very long time that we had to ask again and then there you go …. We got a HUGE plate ,very beautiful by the way that includes all deserts available but who is going to eat that ! The cost obviously was proportional to such an amount of deserts. I felt really scammed in a high class restaurant .

You can just tell that quality and taste are the main focus here. The service was also friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy, modern and invites you to linger. For me it's currently one of the best burger shops in the area. Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the good reviews about the steak. The quality of the meat is average and so is the steak. But for the price range - €26 for a beef fillet it's understandable. Nevertheless, the meat was very tough and untypical for a real beef fillet. All in all okay but not great.

A real taste experience! This meal was simply fantastic! The steak on the hot stone is a real highlight - fresh, high quality and perfect for cooking to your own taste. The quality of the meat was outstanding, and the various sauces could be used to further refine the taste. The side dishes were also great: crispy, golden-brown potato wedges with a spicy note and a fresh, crunchy salad with a fruity orange slice as a special touch. There were also various dips that perfectly rounded off the taste experience. The burger also looked great – juicy meat, fresh bun and crispy curly fries that just made you want more! Plus an ice-cold cola – just perfect. A great restaurant with high quality and delicious food. I'll definitely be back!

We had reserved a table for 5 people and got a much smaller table. When our food arrived, we had to squeeze in slightly... Unfortunately the sweet potatoes were cold when they were served :( Burgers & salad & steak were really tasty... I found the gentleman (bald) unfriendly when we pointed out to him that one of the fries we ordered was missing...! When you work with people, especially in the catering sector, you should be a little friendlier :) especially in such an atmosphere 😉 rest of the crew friendly and attentive

It always tastes great, especially the burgers and steak are outstanding. I often get heartburn when I eat out. That's why it doesn't happen often. Had a table reserved at 8 p.m. for 12 people. Arrived at 8 p.m., told a waiter (bald head, crown tattoo) and he just said "Wait a minute". He then ignored us for 15 minutes until I asked what the status of things was, as no one gave us any update on whether we should wait or anything else. He reacted annoyed. At 8:30 p.m. the table reserved for us became available, there were several waiters present and no one took care of the table even though it had already been cleared. All you had to do was wipe it. Then we asked again and the answer was "5 minutes". We waited another 10 minutes and then left. It's not a problem if a table becomes available later (although at 30 minutes, that's a bit long). But this way of dealing with things, of just leaving us there and walking past us 30 times without saying anything, is not okay. We waited 40 minutes for nothing! Insanely bad, incompetent and unfriendly service.

OK, but not again The food we ordered was delivered incorrectly twice. It was kind of chaotic from the service team. A lava stone from the neighboring table "escalated" the smoke so badly that a short time later the restaurant was completely covered in fog and all the windows and doors had to be opened to ventilate. So it was really cool while eating.

Good steak and burger restaurant in Kelsterbach. The decor is very nice and invites you to linger, the menu reads well and offers a selection of steaks and burgers in various versions from beef to vegan. The lady who served us was super personable, very friendly and extremely attentive. The burgers were good and sufficient, and the side dishes (potato wedges and curlies) were perfect. We paid €50 for 2 burgers with side dishes, 2 ciders and an espresso, which was very good and suitable. We'd love to come back.

The steak on the slab of stone was amazing! It's worth the visit alone. The staff was very helpful, especially the one man who didn't speak English but was so patient and through gestures alone helped us understand everything. Very very kind. Ps. Just take a seat. We came into the store and the 2 ladies who were deep in conversation didn't pay any attention to us. After a minute we looked for a place ourselves. We were then asked very rudely whether we had reserved this table. It was only after 15 minutes that something was offered to drink. The food was OK, probably even good. The service made our stay unpleasant on several occasions. Very unfriendly!

We wanted to eat there during our lunch break. Suddenly there was no reservation. Locally 50% occupied. We then put together chairs ourselves. Door keeps opening because it doesn't close. Well, good. You order drinks from one person and then food from a second person. Everyone first has a main course, then a side dish. You had to ask for cutlery once the food was there. Dips were not offered. Then you wanted dessert and looked at the horrified faces of the service staff. Burger was so-so. Sweet potato fries were good.

The food is generally good. Truffle mayo and elderberry lemonade are particularly praiseworthy. The ladies at the service are sweet, but completely overwhelmed. Our experience was as follows: First we were seated at the wrong table. When we asked what the homemade sauce was, we were told that it was ketchup and mayo. It doesn't sound so fancy. Parts of the order were forgotten. The fake burgers were handed out to our table with real names. So there was the wrong burger on the plate, but it was placed in front of you with the right name. By the way, the burgers were mostly cold. We had neither cutlery nor napkins at the table. Asking the waitress about it was a task in itself, as they walked around the room with blinders on. Which is why we gave up asking about the extras we had ordered but forgotten. Speaking of space, smoking is allowed in the closed beer garden.
