We celebrated a great 60th birthday event at Maro as a closed party with 70 people. Everything was 100% TOP!!!!! We received very good advice from Robert Baake in advance. The food (buffet) was a dream. Incl. Flying buffet for cocktail reception and midnight snack, all 100% recommended. A very, very attentive service, always there, almost invisible and yet not intrusive. Our guests were thrilled, and what can I say, that's what it's all about. Price performance was definitely right. Beautiful authentic pizzeria. Pizza with thick, crispy and fluffy dough, authentic toppings and high quality. Homemade pasta and loving Italian service from people who love their work. A real insider tip for connoisseurs who value authentic Italian cuisine and inexpensive too. Highly recommended!

I always found it tasty here and never had any problems. For everyone who is wondering why it is still closed. The renovation, which apparently lasted several months, is probably due to food inspection. Beautiful place!!! Where you can have a wonderful meal. The prices are super reasonable, the food was to die for and you can't complain about anything. You will receive top service, whether outside (in the beautiful, large beer garden) or inside. The owner is also a very friendly woman who enjoys chatting with customers when she has time! It was a wonderful evening that needs to be repeated!!!

Meatloaf is a very nice portion, although schnitzel with bread only is charged full price.

Super tasty and varied food, very funny and damn nice waiters. It's quite loud but otherwise very cozy and homely. Prices are GREAT, portions are gigantic. Tzatziki is a MUST.
