Restaurant Martinsee in Heusenstamm

For several years we came to the attached bowling alley at the Martinsee restaurant in Heusenstamm every four weeks. Initially we were happy. Little by little the service got worse and worse, we were forgotten down there at the bowling alley and had to go upstairs ourselves and ask for a waiter or order upstairs ourselves. Even though not all of the 11 of us ate there, we always ensured a reliable turnover of drinks - when we were served. And if we could bowl. Because people were already watching TV on a screen on the alley, the alley was rented out to someone else or there were other celebrations taking place, we came and couldn't go bowling. 4 weeks ago we were told that the key couldn't be found (!) and yesterday there was a Christmas party held by other people on the train we rented. When we were approached, an employee who had known us for a long time said casually and arrogantly while lighting a cigarette that the man in charge was busy and didn't have time... and left us standing. Thank you! All of this speaks for the appreciation that customers are shown there. With an organized company, we would have been canceled as customers in good time, then we could each have arranged a different meeting point. But like that: total disinterest. Very bad style. Not only will I no longer go bowling there, I will also go to another restaurant for dinner or celebrations.

Was there twice. The food was delicious, no question. The first time we were about 15 people. Then I thought ok. It's because it was very busy. But this time it wasn't as busy and it was the same. You bring food to one or two people and the others are allowed to watch and wait forever for their food. Ok, but our drinks were already empty and still nothing came. Same thing again with dessert. We got our drinks. We almost drank it. Then a plate came for one person. She was already finished with everything. And was allowed to watch as the others finally ate their dessert. Very uncomfortable. The coffee is already ice cold by the time dessert finally arrives. For me that's a reason not to go there anymore and I wouldn't recommend it either.

There were 4 of us there. Super tasty food, attentive and friendly service. We'll be back

Excellent restaurant, great service, very tasty food, great.

Coincidentally, we were in the area again after many years and had dinner here. The food and service were first class. Like back then, under the same management for 35 years. I think we need to go here more often. The journey is worth it.

The food was very tasty with a very good price-performance ratio. The staff is very nice and attentive.

We have exceptional Croatian cuisine here that is served according to taste and love. Special attention is paid to special requests here. In summer, a nice terrace outside offers plenty of space with a tent roof. Baptisms, communions and all other celebrations can also be celebrated here with advance reservations. There are enough parking spaces here. Many thanks to the whole team for everything.

Delicious and cheap food if you like grilled food. Anyone who eats lunch here no longer needs dinner.

ZERO STARS!!! It could always be worse? NO!!! Never again! We had our prom there in 2024, unfortunately! The staff and the “landlord” were totally overwhelmed and incompetent! 900 people and after 700 there was no more food???!!! Communication was completely refused!! (Just by the way... the toilets also left a lot to be desired...) Absolutely incompetent!!!! Zero stars!!!!! Absolute impudence! Unfortunately, after researching (too late), this wasn't the first time. Here, young, committed people are being completely ripped off. Here the “need” of the location is shamelessly exploited by the “landlord”. If you complained to the "boss" you were indirectly expelled from the house..... We can only advise everyone against it!!

The food doesn't take long to arrive. The people are nice and polite. The quality of the food is very satisfactory, I go here more often.

If you want to eat well and all that with great service in a nice atmosphere then you've come to the right place.

Really wow The profile only partially reflects how great it is here. My colleague and I were completely thrilled, ate well and were really full. Quality of the food was great. The waitress did a good job. I'll be back!

Jeden zu empfehlen der gerne 2 Stunden auf das essen möchte. Für die Wartezeit werden die Getränke schnell gebracht. Sonst war alles gut:)

Die Speisen sind sehr empfehlenswert, die letzten beiden Male die Gänsebrust mit Rotkohl und Klöße gegessen, sehr gut. Preislich für die Qualität vollkommen in Ordnung. Auch die typisch kroatischen Speisen sind sehr gut. 👍

Immer wieder gerne, der Servie ist hervorragend und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen, egal was aus der Karte ausgewählt kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir waren gerade wieder mit 11 Personen dort und freuen uns schon wieder auf das nächste mal.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, freundliches Personal

Das Essen war sehr lecker und eine große Portion. Leider ist der Service nicht gut. DIE Gäste mit kroatischen Wurzel werden bevorzugt bedient. Es wurde erst auf mehrer Nachfragen die Bestellung des Kaffes entgegen genommen und mit der Bezshlung der Rechnung hat man 15 Minuten warten müssen. Ich werde trotz des guten Essen, dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen. Sehr schade.

Faire Preise und lecker Essen. Sind des öfteren hier mit Freunden. Egal ob Salat, Schnitzel oder Fisch es ist immer frisch und schmackhaft.

Die Grillplatte war lecker, so wie man es eben vom kroaten gewohnt ist. Negativ zu erwähnen ist allerdings der Beilagensalat. Dieser schien vom Vortag zu sein, die Blätter zum Teil braun angelaufen, die Gurken an der Oberfläche trocken. Zum Teil braune Maiskörner. Das Porzellan an den Tellern (ab-)gebrochen. Das Stövchen hätte man weglassen können, da dort nur eine Kerze brannte, bei der aber auch der "Saft" schon aus war. Es sind eben die Kleinigkeiten, die dafür sorgen, dass man keine 5 Sterne bekommt.

Die Pächter haben das Lokal schon sehr lange. Der Service ist gut und das Essen auch. Gute Auswahl! Wir komnen gerne wieder....😀👍
