Leone D‘oro in Heusenstamm

Out of six meals, we had schnitzel three times. All of them were very tough and dry. The waiter noted it, but nothing happened. The other people were satisfied with their meals. We won't be coming back.

I visited this restaurant because of the many good reviews. The food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the flavor wasn't impressive – it was barely seasoned, and the beef fillet for €39 was both very small and not worth the price. If you're going to charge that much, the dish should be full of flavor and served a bit more generously. On the plus side, the food was served quickly. However, the staff seemed unmotivated. The highlight was actually the Aperol – the mix was truly delicious.

There were 6 people in total. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We were able to sit outside despite the changeable weather. The location was lovely. The service was good and friendly. We'd be happy to come back :-)

What a discovery! Homemade pasta of such delicious quality tempted our palates twice over. But the other dishes were also impressive. The service was fantastic and truly perfect. We were simply enchanted. A top recommendation!

Mostly delicious food, especially the noodles. Unfortunately, not necessarily the steaks. Nice places outside the church, unfortunately only very few. Unfortunately, the service is a bit mixed, sometimes very friendly and accommodating, but sometimes rather harsh and unfriendly and one waiter seems to have made it his mission to sell a few extras.

We were at the restaurant with a large group for lunch. The service was attentive and prompt, and we were all able to eat together. The lunch menu was truly delicious and very reasonably priced. The ambiance was stylish, with cloth napkins, etc. I would be happy to return.

So first I ordered a pizza thinking it was Italian, that's what it says on the internet. Well then after ordering I took the pizza with me and ate it. Unfortunately, unfortunately, this has nothing to do with pizza. It just didn't taste like anything. So €25 wasted money for 2 normal pizzas.

The food was ok. Unfortunately, no wine list is offered, but bottles of wine are welcome without first seeing the prices. The surprise at the bill. A bottle of Lugano €40!!!! The menu only lists open wine 0.5 for €18.80. The waiter tries to save it. Then a person who, according to him, is not the boss, comes and discusses without letting the guest finish, saying that there are guests who are not interested in wine prices. Maybe, but it's not appropriate to calculate prices without referring to the wine list. Finally, the person throws you out. Never this restaurant again!!!!

Very good selection and very tasty dishes, we have tried a lot and it was always very fresh and excellently prepared. The service is always quick, friendly and professional. We also like to order for pick-up, as it is rare at other restaurants that quality is not lost. In the summer you can sit outside and actually feel a little bit like you're in Italy :). Keep it up!

Yesterday we went to the restaurant for dinner with four people. Very friendly, courteous staff and great service. The same applies to the owner. The food, including dessert, was very tasty and of excellent quality - top cuisine!! Price/performance is 100% right. Really a recommendation!

The Leone d’Oro in Heusenstamm, located on Schlossstraße, offers an excellent selection of homemade and specially selected pasta dishes. The location is unique: at the foot of the old town, directly opposite the Santa Cecilia Church, and embedded in the historical backdrop of the castle. The atmosphere at the Heusenstamm archway is particularly impressive, through which you seem to enter an almost magical world. The restaurant is located in a historic building that was built in 1600. This charming location combines historic elegance with modern hospitality. The service is excellent - the staff is friendly and courteous - and the quality of the food is convincing in every respect. Leone d’Oro is a place to visit again and again, be it for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience culinary delights in a magical ambience.

Unfortunately now a shadow of its former self! Unfortunately not recommended because: 1. Waiters forgetting orders. 2. Overpriced food that unfortunately doesn't deliver what it promises. 3. The monkfish on Christmas Day 2024 tasted like chewy shoe soles. i.e. It wasn't delivered fresh and had been frozen for weeks. Plus frozen vegetables.. ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! The sauce served with it was good, but not the one advertised. And, um, this dish for 31!!! Euro. Well, whatever you want. 4. Dessert, which was listed on the Christmas menu, was not even made according to the waiter. 5. Forgotten food was very well accounted for. Conclusion: It was the last time I was in this store. Very, very unfortunate.

There were two of us with a dog. The welcome was warm. The food was excellent, the service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We found the atmosphere inside very cozy. Price-performance ratio is very ok. If we were to stop by again while passing through, we wouldn't choose another restaurant. Thank you for a successful evening.

Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant, attentive service and enough staff. Food came quickly, very tasty and really good value for money. My 91 year old mother was also very satisfied. She was able to swap the vegetable side dish in favor of a salad at no extra charge. Very nice lunch. We'll be back.

I paid 23.90 for a mini portion of pasta with shrimp and half a porcini mushroom for decoration. This was a daily recommendation and was offered with fresh porcini mushrooms. The whole dish was a joke! A cherry tomato, half a porcini mushroom and five small frozen shrimps with intestines! It didn't taste like anything!

We had lunch with 11 people at Leone D'Oro after our civil wedding and were thrilled by both the delicious food and the excellent service! The food was fresh, with many homemade specialties and, above all, served to everyone at the same time. Excellent taste and high quality food! The service was also excellent, very personable and good recommendations for food and wine were given. Overall, we can only recommend Leone D'Oro and we will come back!

This restaurant is not my favorite. The ambience is okay, but the taste of my main dish was not as expected. The service is attentive, but a little intrusive.

Tried their beer on a hot day it was refreshing and their tiramisu is top notch overall the ambiance was really good. The staff was friendly. Would definitely visit again!

The food was okay, but nothing special. The ambience (outside in summer) is beautiful, inside it's okay. The service was really bad. Orders were forgotten, three slices of bread came for four people, and when asked about the wines the cellar was helpless. It's a shame, because the ambience is great, but the service and food are not convincing. That's why we won't be coming back.

Had the lunch menu. Very tasty - salad (great dressing), tortelloni in an incredibly good cream sauce and for dessert there was casata. All very good and at a reasonable price. The service staff is very attentive.

Absolute disaster. Pizza tastes suspiciously like frozen dough and the lasagne was definitely frozen. The order wasn't ready when we picked it up and was then calculated incorrectly. Portions were very small and expensive.

The restaurant's garden was empty, only one table was occupied, and no other table had a "Reserved" sign. When I decided to sit down with another person, the waiter spoke to me while serving the only table. He stopped taking his order to loudly and disrespectfully tell us that we wouldn't be allowed to sit there if we didn't have a reservation for the meal. I explained to him that we just wanted a quick drink, but he still wouldn't let us sit. I asked him why that wasn't possible even though the store was empty and there were so many seats available. Without looking at me, he stuck to his no. Although I didn't try the food, the impression left by the waiter ruined my visit. The restaurant looks very attractive from the outside, but the waiter's interaction with guests leaves a lot to be desired. This is not how gastronomy should be. I can only give the worst grade.

We reserved a table for 5 people on August 12, 2024. We were given a table that wasn't set, and after several requests, only half of the starter came. Still no cutlery! Drinks were brought incorrectly or not at all. We even have a premium guest card which, according to the service, we can destroy (the announcement would no longer be of any use) although it is still advertised on their website. Well unfortunately they have lost regular guests. We actually wanted to celebrate our wedding with them.

We ate in the restaurant with the whole family. With the reservation and the desire to sit outside, everything worked out great. We received friendly and very good service throughout the evening. The drinks and food tasted extremely delicious. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. Everything was completely organized and professional, the staff treated us in a friendly manner and we were repeatedly asked if we needed anything else. The location is very nice and also in a quiet location. I can definitely recommend it and we will go there again and again.

Racist and homophobic. Waited for half an hour and never even got the menus. The table was extremely dirty and the people who came after us were being served. We just got up and left. Horrible experience.

We were there for a festive occasion with 14 people. Unfortunately, the agreements regarding the table arrangement and the ordered menu cards that we discussed with the boss at the rehearsal dinner were not adhered to. After our complaint on site we were called rude and received poor service throughout the evening. The service staff were incompetent and some of them couldn't speak German, wine was served without wine glasses and later served unrefrigerated. We had to order drinks personally at the bar. Outrageous! That has nothing to do with the Italian restaurant as it once was. The food was ok, but the quality was inferior and the portions were smaller than at the rehearsal dinner. In our opinion not recommended for festive events

The ambience was super nice and very child-friendly. This was our second time there, but today the quality of the food was terrible. Bruscetta with olives and capers and inedible shrimp in the pasta. We both chose pasta dishes and were really hungry, but now we're lying on the sofa with stomach aches and nausea. Pizza was ok, but you noticed the broccoli was thrown on it frozen, freshness is something else. Very disappointing.

That food tasted good. Slightly under-salted. Apart from that good. Unfortunately, the last person out of 19 didn't get their food until the others were almost finished. The service was good. There was 1 more wedding or later 2 weddings. The waiter definitely has a sense of humor and a lot of sayings. It was definitely a nice evening. Personally my first there.

It was a great taste and wonderful, the only disadvantage I would say that I would assume that the service was stress out, as it took them forever to do anything, and they are running luck crazy disorganised, otherwise everything else was great.

We had ordered the lunch menu; I chose the homemade crespelle filled with ricotta and spinach. Poorly seasoned, otherwise edible. We sat at the table longer than usual and were repeatedly asked how we liked the food, which was almost a bit noticeable. The bill then arrived without being asked. I already felt sick on the way back to the office and had to go home with nausea and stomach pain, even though I have an absolute "sucky stomach" and am not sensitive. Apart from lunch, I had only eaten a croissant in the morning. I am very glad that my friend chose a different menu.

An all-round wonderful experience of Italian cuisine and the perfect ambience and service! The antipasti were very tasty and enough to share. This time we had 4 pasta dishes as a main course and they were all excellent! The next visit is guaranteed!

Neben der Speisekarte gibt es eine Tagestafel mit Saisongerichten. Ich hatte u.a. Kürbisravioli, sehr schmackhaft. Und mein argentisches Rinderfilet war medium-rare auf den Punkt gebraten, saftig und zart. Die Portionen waren reichlich! Das Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Selbst die gehypten Trüffelpasta aus dem Cocodrillo in Berlin sind nur eine 4/10 wenn man sie mit der Trüffelpasta hier vergleicht- unfassbar gut unschlagbar lecker. Auch die Pistazien Pasta ist einfach aus einer anderen welt. 👌

Die Ambiente und das Essen ist sehr lecker, süper Service und gute Lage, besonders im Sommer kann man draußen schön essen.

Der Service ist super. Sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben in einer 30+ Gruppe dort gegessen. (Kurzfristig von drinnen auf den Außenbereich verlegt.) Zum Essen. Vorspeisen sind vor den Gerichten zu empfehlen, wenn man den Magen füllen möchte. Zum reinen Genuss reichen die Hauptgerichte. Kurz und knapp: Ein gutes, leicht gehobenes Restaurant.

Wir haben heute einen wunderschönen Geburtstag in diesem Restaurant gefeiert. Das Ambiente ist schön, gepflegt und sauber, die Bedienung zuvorkommend mit italienischem Charme, das Angebot der Speisen reichhaltig. Empfehlen möchte ich die Vorspeisenplatte und das Lachsfilet. Alles war frisch zubereitet und lecker. Ein vitelo tonato das nicht mit Soße übertüncht war mit echten Kapern und die Meeresfrüchte, Grillgemüse und Antipasti, Tomate Mozarella mit Basilikum waren ein Genuss. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an die Küche und das gesamte Team.

Heute haben wir den Geburtstag meiner Mutter mit 8 Personen hier gefeiert. Herr Attamann und seine Mitarbeiter haben uns sehr verwöhnt. Das Essen top, der Service professionell und sehr freundlich, liebevoll gedeckter Tisch mit echten Blumen. Dieses Restaurant empfehlen wir mit Begeisterung weiter. Danke vielmals!

Leckerer Italiener mit viel Herz im leckeren Essen und beim Service. Wenn einen entspannten Ausklang zum anstrengenden Tag in Heusenstamm sucht sollte hier die hausgemachte Pasta probieren. Dazu ein leckeres Teramisu und man ist geschmacklich in Italien angekommen.

Leckeres Essen, freundlicher Service und Piazza-Feeling, wenn man draußen sitzt, was will man mehr?

Echter „Italiener“ ! Hier gibt es neben italienischem Essen auch eine echte Italienische Bedienung. Drinnen ist es gemütlich und bequem und sogar ein bisschen Romantisch. Draußen findet man bei schönem Wetter einen mit Schirmen überdachten Platz. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Es gibt Mittags mehrere Menüs zu Auswahl. Von vegetarisch über Lachs bis zum Argentinischen Steak. Dann mit Vorspeisen und Dessert. Toiletten sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Mit etwas Glück parkt man in Sichtweite.

Ein echtes Highlight in Heusenstamm! Es wurde auch Zeit, dass es mal mehr gibt als nur Pizza und Pasta. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Saß draußen zum mittag Tisch..war alleine. . Es war nichts los und das ganze personal sass vor dem Eingang und hat sich unterhalten..dabei andauernd durch die gegend geschaut ..

Immer eine gute Wahl, wenn es mal etwas besseres sein soll, ohne dass das Sparschwein geschlachtet werden muss. Öfter gibt es auch Themenabende. Achtung: neuer Besitzer-immer noch toll, aber ich glaube nicht mehr sizilianisch.

Neuer Besitzer, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr freundlich. Hatten hausgemachte Pasta und Salate, alles seeehr lecker und wie zuletzt in Italien im Restaurant. Wirklich leckeres hausgemachtes Brot zum Salat, sehr leckere Auswahl an Schnäpsen (insbesondere der Limoncello war perfetto!) nach Rechnung aufs Haus. Auch die Atmosphäre auf dem Kirchplatz sehr schön, wie im Urlaub, mitten in der Altstadt und doch gut zu erreichen. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Spagetti im Käseleib mit Trüffel und Vitello Tonnato als Vorspeise sind immer am besten hier!

Schoener Aufenthalt Durch Zufall gesehen, Wir fanden wohl einen neuen Lieblings Italiener Auf Grund sehr guter Qualitaet Und sehr nettem Service. Kurzum wir kommen wieder. Vor Allem etwas innovativer. U.a. Basilikum Eis hausgemacht. Sau lecker und endlich mal.n7x langweilig Schokolade, Erdbeer, Vanille Echt top .So etwas haben wir lange gesucht. Weiter so!!

Mein absolutes Lieblingslokal, schönes Ambiente gegenüber der St. Cäcilia Kirche. Besonders zu empfehlen Spaghetti trüffel und Fischgerichte.
