Nach mehreren Besuchen im Poseidon nun eine etwas fundiertere Bewertung als in Vergangenheit. Der Service ist immer prompt und gut. Auf kleinere Extrawünsche wird eingegangen. Knapp 60 Euro für zwei einfache Hauptgerichte (Gyros, Lammspieß) und 0,5 l einfachsten griechischen Landweins ist definitiv überteuert. Der früher obligatorische gratis Ouzo vorab ist inzwischen entfallen. Das Essen ist insgesamt sehr typisch für ein griechisches Lokal und schmeckt weitestgehend. Kurz gebratenes Fleisch schmeckt fast durchgängig nach Zartmacher und damit schlecht. Der Lammspieß wirkt vom Fleisch her so, als wären es convenience Fleischbrocken aus dem Vakuumbeutel mit sehr viel Zartmacher vielleicht noch "geimpft" und "aktiviert" mit was auch immer. Der Geschmack hat mit einem guten Lammspieß wenig zu tun. Ein Grieche sollte auf dem Preisniveau besseres Lamm liefern. So schwer und teuer ist das nicht. Und gerade Lamm kann man auch ohne Hilfsstoffe zart grillen. Das verwendete Schweinefleisch wirkt so, als wäre es so ziemlich das billigste, was man auf dem Markt bekommen kann. Es wird definitiv Zartmacher verwendet. Das Gyros ist bisher immer in Ordnung. Die Lammkeule aus dem Ofen ist auch in Ordnung. Könnte sehr gut auch convenience sein, aber ist geschmacklich gut. Der Lammspieß wird ohne den hierzu sehr gut passenden Tzatzikiklecks, der sonst bei vielen Gerichten dabei ist, geliefert. Das Gegrillte ist meist korrekt gegrillt, manchmal auch mit zu viel Schwarz, was einfach bekanntermaßen bitter schmeckt. Die typisch griechischen frittierten Kartoffelchips sind in Ordnung. Auch hier gibt es den Verdacht von convenience: Leicht vorgekochte Kartoffelscheiben aus dem Vakuumbeutel. Schwer zu sagen, aber die frittierten Kartoffelchips könnten besser schmecken. 0,5 l Noussa für 13,90 ist vollkommen überteuert. Der Wein ist trinkbar, aber extrem einfach. Der kann höchsten 8 Euro die 2 Literflasche im Einkauf kosten. Aber es gibt auch deutlich billigeren Noussa. Wenn wir mal gutwillig 2 Euro für 0,5 l ansetzen, sind wir beim fast 7fachen Verkaufspreis. Das ist schon ordentlich. Die Einrichtung ist ok. Die Tische sind angemessen groß und man sitzt bequem. Im übrigen ist das die einfallsloseste Standardeinrichtung vom Laden- und Gaststättenbau, die man sich vorstellen kann. Da helfen auch die Tafeln mit etwas griechischem Text zu Poseidon nichts. Das Ganze hat die Individualität einer Restaurantketteneinrichtung. Also ein ansprechendes griechisches Lokal sieht definitiv anders aus. Fazit: In der kulinarischen Wüste Heusenstamm werden wir das Lokal auch weiter besuchen, da es noch positiv heraussticht - wenn wir in Heusenstamm bleiben wollen. Der Service ist top. Das Ambiente ist erträglich, aber alles andere als schön. Das Essen ist so lala. Die Preise sind überteuert.

Everything is really right here. The service was very friendly and so was the owner, who was interested in our well-being. The food was really good and beautifully presented. The only thing missing was the ouzo at the end, which would have perfectly rounded off my second visit here with my family.

Wir kommen schon in unregelmäßigen Abständen seit vielen Jahren in die Gaststätte. Die Qualität der Speisen ist normalerweise gut, gestern war´s jedoch nicht zufriedenstellend. Das Gyros war sehr trocken. Vermutlich hat man wegen des hohen Besucherandrangs zur schnelleren Garung die Hitze zu hoch angesetzt. Zum Gyros hätte ich gerne Zatziki gehabt, das schon im Angebot enthalten sein sollte. Ich mußte das aber extra dazubestellen, was den Gesamtpreis des Tellers dann von 17,-- € auf 22,50 € erhöht hat. Die Lammhaxe war mit dicken Bohnen als Beilage bestellt, kam aber mit grünen Bohnen. Die Preise sind in letzter Zeit stolz erhöht worden. Dafür gab es auch keinen Ouzo aufs Haus mehr. Und das schon seit einiger Zeit.... Preis für ein Glas Wein = 6,10 €, auch etwas zu hoch meiner Meinung nach. Was immer noch in Ordnung ist, ist der Service - professionell und freundlich.

The food is always very tasty. However, on our last visit we noticed that the prices had been increased (which is understandable at the moment). But in addition, the portions were almost halved, which again has a negative aftertaste. Unfortunately, the music is often too loud and therefore the noise level is very high. It would be nicer and more pleasant if the music only played quietly in the background and you could have a conversation in a normal tone.

We've eaten there again and again for years. Then a few years ago we wanted to celebrate our daughter's birthday there and had reserved a table in good time. However, when we got there it was occupied. We were told to wait a bit and then get another table (the round one) further ahead. When it was almost time, obviously good acquaintances or well-known guests of the innkeeper's family suddenly arrived and were given this table straight away. We would therefore have to wait longer until another table became available somewhere. But the innkeepers' impossible behavior was enough for us and we left - and never came back there. It will stay that way! You don't have to put up with something like that, because there are numerous other good restaurants in the area where you can get good service and eat delicious food!

Service and ambience top! You feel like you're sitting in the Acropolis - great! Regardless of whether you are alone, with a group of men or with the family: you will always receive appropriately friendly and courteous service. I miss the flavor variations in the dishes. Regardless of whether it's veal or chicken - everything somehow swims in the same liquid. This may not bother you on the first visit, but on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th... (this is of course also my subjective feeling).

We had such a lovely evening at Poseidon! The food is excellent and the service is not only super attentive but so warm that we immediately felt at home.❤️ If we didn't have to travel 200 km, it would definitely be our regular Greek restaurant😉😘.

Were there for the first time today - and all I can say is supercalifragilisticextraaligetic. Or just great, great, great. Great team, fast service despite the store being full, if the wait is too long, there's a salad to tide you over. And additional bread upon request. The food is fresh, homemade and you can taste it. The prices are really very reasonable, absolutely not overpriced. At the end there was a cocktail that wasn't even on the menu because I wanted something fruity but didn't want a shot - hey presto, I created it myself. Chapeau, always happy.

Allow for some waiting time. Since tables are reserved quite closely. We had to wait 20 minutes until our table was free. The service is great for that. The food came super quickly and was really good.

Top restaurant. Hadn't been there for a long time. I had the baked feta as a starter and then the Rhodes platter. Price performance unbeatable. It was just a long wait for the starter, but that was bearable.

Super leckeres Essen. Gyros sogar kross. Der Kellner war auch sehr freundlich und hat sich direkt um uns gekümmert. Einziger Kritikpunkt, das Telefon hat häufig sehr laut geklingelt.

Normalerweise ein schönes Ambiente. Aber wenn das Lokal voll besetzt ist (Weihnachtsfeier etc) ist es sooo laut, dass eine normale Unterhaltung fast nicht möglich ist! Spricht natürlich für sich, dass es so gut besucht wird!!!

Ganz tolles griechisches Restaurant Das Essen ist super lecker und wurde schnell serviert, obwohl es voll war und jeder Tisch besetzt war. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Personal sehr gastfreundlich man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen. Eine Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

In nettem Ambiente werden hier leckere grischiche Speisen serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Parkplatz war auch kein Problem. Alles in allem zufrieden jedoch wie überall mittlerweile gehobene Preise.

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant. Der Senior immer noch vor Ort und die Chefin und der Chef immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Qualität der Speisen sind nicht zu übertreffen. Einer der besten Adressen für griechische Küche. Essen ist hervorragend, etwas teuer, aber immer noch in Ordnung. Service ist leider etwas unaufmerksam von sich aus und man sitzt auch gerne etwas länger vor leeren Gläsern, aber dafür sind sie extrem schnell nachdem man bestellt hat. Ambiente ist super schön, sehr modern und top gepflegt (innen).

Wir waren an einem Wochentag abends dort. Keine Tische draußen. Das Lokal war innen schon gut gefüllt. Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen und uns wurde ein schöner Tisch angeboten. Der Service war in jeder Hinsicht freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell. Besser geht es nicht. Man sieht die Betreiber selbst beim Service und fühlt sich hier freundlich behandelt und angenehm wohl. Die Einrichtung ist modern. Da geht sicherlich mehr, aber es ist gemütlich und man sitzt gut. Die Karte ist typisch für griechische Restaurants und passt vollkommen zum Lokal. Als Wein hatten wir Noussa. Qualität war in Ordnung. Nicht der Hammer, aber für den Preis vollkommen angemessen. Wir bestellten die "Rhodos-Platte" für zwei Personen: "Gyros, Lammkotelett, Sousoukakia, Souvlaki, geröstete Kartoffeln, Zatziki, Reis und Salat". Nach kurzer Zeit kamen zwei Salatschalen, ein Teller mit Zatziki und etwas Brot. Der Salat war typisch griechisch angemacht. Das Zatziki geht sicherlich noch etwas besser, aber war wirklich gut. Eine schwarze Olive (echt schwarz) und eine Scheibe Gurke lagen darauf. Etwas mehr frische Gurke im Zatziki selbst würde es perfekt machen. Insgesamt war das bis hierher gut bis sehr gut. Nach einiger Zeit kam die Grillplatte: Typische griechische Kartoffelchips: sehr gut. Reis: sehr gut. Lammkotelett war gut, hätte etwas schärfer gegrillt sein können, aber absolut in Ordnung. Gyros: sehr gut. Saftig und wohlschmeckend. Souvlaki in Ordnung. Das Sousoukakia ist ein Hackfleischwürstchen etwa in der Art von cevapcici. Also das war nichts. Es war restlos weiß, wahrscheinlich Schweinefleisch und geschmacksneutral. Es sah auch nicht gegrillt, sondern eher gebrüht aus. Wir haben es nach kurzem Probieren nicht gegessen. Das war aber auch das einzige echte Manko an dem Essen und unserem Besuch. Fazit: Definitiv der bessere Grieche in Heusenstamm. Griechisches Essen wie man es erwartet in ordentlicher Qualität zu einem vernünftigen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Super freundlicher und schneller Service. Wenn wir mal griechisch essen wollen um die Ecke, gehen wir dort sicherlich wieder hin.

Finally a restaurant in Gremany that posts itself as doing Greek food, actually does Greek style food. OK you can still get "schnitzel" but there's a good range of Greek dishes. We had the "Rhodos" moxed grill for two. More than enough all all excellent. The service is prompt and the eating area is very pleasant! Not much more you can say really. Worth a visit. I'll be coming back. I rate this the best place in town.

The food, the meet is not really prepared just meet put it on the grill, and the rest as salads and zalziki is more like a garlic salt and garlic zalziki ifnyou don't like garlic just don't eat there.. Prices little bit expensive for German restaurants, is not na big city is juts a town, the 🍻 is 20% expensive as in other places So if you there and you want, try it but don't you expect a unforgettable experience
