Beautiful little authentic Indian restaurant on a lovely street. Waiters are attentive and welcoming (only downside, and this is from a westerners point of view is no offer of water, you have to ask but very friendly when you do). Personal recommendations are the mango lassi, vegetable samosa, lamb curry and palak paneer + special mention for the garlic naan. Food is so good we came back twice!
I had an overall good experience. It was my first time trying Hummus made out of Edamame and I noticed some other slightly unusual dishes compared to most of other vegan Asian fusion restaurants, which is quite refreshing.
I also appreciated the design of their menu, as normally pictures kinda ruin the whole aesthetic but this one looked quite cool and made it so much easier to decide on the dishes.
Only downside would be that we waited for 20min even tho the restaurant was completely empty and the waiters didn’t seem to be bothered at all, nor did they even smile..
We ate there today and tried Şırdan and Mumbar for the first time – they tasted truly excellent! Unfortunately, our positive impression was severely dampened by several things.
First, the food didn't arrive at the same time: I got my dish, and my girlfriend had to wait a full 20 minutes longer – that's unacceptable, especially in a restaurant.
As if that wasn't unpleasant enough, the employee was very rude and unpleasant. After we left, we heard him say behind our backs that we had "tipped so little." We asked him about it, and he said it was just a misunderstanding – obviously because he didn't expect us to hear him.
The food was really good, but due to the disrespectful behavior and poor service, we won't be coming back again.
