The food was absolutely amazing. Everything is fresh and the menu contains every vegan desire in your heart. Highly recommendable!

I had an allergic reaction at this restaurant after explicitly specifying I had a peanut allergy. When ordering, I was careful to order nothing on the menu which listed peanut as an allergen. I ordered summer rolls, which usually come with peanut sauce, so I was surprised this was not listed on the menu, and that peanuts were not in this dish. I explicitly advised the waiter to have no peanuts in any dish because I had an allergy. He stated that no dishes I had ordered included peanuts, but I made it clear to please be careful. Upon bringing our food (which came incredibly fast), he told us that one dish is supposed to be served with peanut sauce, so gave us an alternative. This dish was not the summer rolls and did not have peanut listed as an allergen. Within my first bite of my meal, I felt a crunch and immediately spat out the summer roll to find peanuts inside it. These were not visible from the outside. In order to prevent my reaction becoming severe, I had to run to the bathroom and wash my mouth and lips with soap. This is to remove all traces of the allergen as soon as possible. Sadly, I accidentally swallowed a small piece of the food and had to rush home and be violently sick for a few hours. I left my partner at the restaurant as I needed to rush home and seek treatment. He told me that the staff were slow, uninformed and completely failed to grasp the severity of the situation. They even made him pay for the remainder of our meal, which was utterly spoilt and naturally inedible for me. I'd also like to note that milk was listed in several dishes despite this being a vegan restaurant. I queried this with the waiter who dismissively said "oh that is just soy milk" - in which case, the allergen is soy, not milk. The staff at this restaurant have no clue how dangerous it is to be ill-informed about common allergens. If I had eaten even a few more bites of my dish, I would be in hospital. The lack of care from the restaurant is appalling. No attempt was made to check on my wellbeing or even offer a half-baked apology.

Do not eat!! Nearly killed my girlfriend with a peanut allergy tonight. The server took ages to help us and took note TWICE of my partners allergy to peanuts. He assured us that none of the dishes had peanuts (as was also noted by the absence of allergy information regarding peanuts on these particular dishes on the menu) He later told us one of the dishes was meant to come with a peanut sauce so he gave us Sriracha. One bite into our first dish, a spring roll, my partner tastes peanuts. She immediately runs to the bathroom to puke and literally wash her mouth with soap. The manager spoke barely any German OR English and did not offer any apologies and the server was nowhere to be found. I had to control my anger, especially after the horrific treatment. My partner rushed away for her medication and to get treatment. Do not eat. Bad atmosphere. Bad service, overpriced, and all of the above.

Wrong food was brought and they barely understood what I was saying.

The food is delicious, ranging from standard dishes to more unusual creations. The staff is friendly and unobtrusive. Worth a visit on any trip to Berlin 🙃

The food was unfortunately disappointing. I ordered udon noodles with tofu. The dish wasn't served hot and wasn't very tasty. The vegetables weren't cooked properly either. The same goes for the edamame – undercooked and not hot. The sushi was okay. When we first arrived, the server wasn't present for about five minutes. We had to find our own table. ;) After that, the service was friendly. Be aware: A €2.50 fee is charged for payments made with a foreign bank card without any prior notification.

After six months, we're back at this restaurant. It's a bit off the beaten track now, but worth it, we thought... But what a disappointment. We made a reservation well in advance, but were nevertheless ushered away to a small table by a drafty door by an extremely unfriendly employee. It was packed and the service was very limited. We left immediately. They won't be seeing us again.

We were here with the family before an event at the Urania. The selection was plentiful and everyone enjoyed their meal. The "flying noodles" were a fun touch. 😅 Unfortunately, there was a bit of a draft at the tables right by the window. Otherwise, the atmosphere and service were excellent.

Your opening hours are incorrect. I would have liked to eat at your restaurant on Saturday at noon. Google should be in Groff by 2025. Oh well.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to mention that there was a very unpleasant toilet smell throughout almost the entire restaurant, which somewhat spoiled the experience. Perhaps a door to the bathroom could be installed instead of using a curtain.

Unfortunately not a pleasant experience. The food didn't feel fresh. Taste was also not good. The washroom was stinky. The service was good. Will not like to go there again. :(

The food was soggy and had no taste at all, especially not Japanese. The soup was industrial and the chimchi salad tasteless. BTW the place was empty....

Highly recommended! We had rice with seitan duck, and the portions were both huge and incredibly delicious! I also had a minor coughing fit, and the waiter was very attentive and immediately brought me a glass of water.

Tasty good food, but in somewhat small portions. The menu was extensive, good drink options!

Decent-sized restaurant, so expect a little higher bill as compared to the hole in the wall and/or places around which are veg forward or offer veg and vegan options. Serving sizes were good and filling, produce was fresh, sushi was made ahead and chilled (which is the same everywhere but always a bit disappointing to me cos the sushi never has that fresh taste.) Soup was delish like a ramen bowl. Crispy tofu could have been served hot but was just warned up yet tasty enough. Could learn to spice up dishes on request.

We had an appetizer platter, the Hanoi curry with vegan duck (seitan), and a dish with mango sauce and baked "chicken" (tofu). Everything was incredibly delicious. Super authentic and flavorful. Go there!

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly service, 10/10

If you're looking for a trip back to the 80s, welcome! The decor is so charmingly retro that I briefly wondered if someone with shoulder pads was serving the food. Unfortunately, the food also remained stuck in the past in terms of taste. The prices, on the other hand, are very much in the here and now – more like a "gourmet restaurant," but the taste is more like a "holiday camp with an experimental kitchen." You can practically taste the love that went into this place... it just didn't make it to the plate, unfortunately. In conclusion: An experience – but more like one you have to have once in your life... and then never again. 😅

Very pleasant, tasty, and aromatic. The mango coconut lassi is delicious. Good vegan sushi. A lovely interior and beautiful, live plants on all the windowsills – a multitude of blooming orchids.

We were the only guests. That should have been our cue to leave, but we stayed anyway. The waiter was busy with something else and didn't seem to be making much of an effort – and the chef, too, seemed to be. The food was truly terrible.

Stay away! Dirty toilets, cheap, tasteless food with instant noodles and ready-made sauces, more bagged salad without dressing than the food itself. I've never eaten so badly. I basically left the whole thing because there was hair in it, it was burned, and I got the wrong bill.

Delightful food and atmosphere. The menu is very extensive featuring Vietnamese and pan-Asian fare. I recommend the summer rolls.

Very tasty food and a wide selection in a nice ambience

Well, after the appetizer plate for two, I had to go to the Mexican restaurant next door to get my fill. The two spring rolls with the two sauces were delicious. All the ready-made meals and dumplings are actually quite cheap. The ready-made chimichi was also very unimaginative. Every salad was just for decoration and not seasoned with any dressing. I find that really poor for a vegan restaurant. Especially since the price of €19 is quite reasonable. For €10 more, you can get the best 300g rump steak with fried potatoes here in Hesse.

We often eat Vietnamese food, and often vegan food, so we have plenty to compare. We were here on a Sunday evening and were quite disappointed. We had the appetizer platter, various maki, and two main courses. All the dishes were average at best. Really, everything was relatively bland, and nothing was particularly tasty. The maki were tiny, and even though we had three different varieties, they all tasted the same...and none of them were good...and 4.50 for that is pretty steep. My "stuffed" betel leaves weren't actually filled; there was only a hint of seitan (you couldn't taste it)...the leaves were just bitter. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have sent it back. The only good thing was the pineapple mint shake. The ambiance is okay, even if the music was inappropriate. The prices are completely exorbitant for what's on offer. We paid over 70 euros for two. The server was nice.

Very good vegan food in a beautiful location with a very large selection of different dishes. The vegan sushi was particularly fantastic, but the Bao Bin Burger is also highly recommended.

The food was not bad, not good, just okay in my opinion. The juice my partner ordered was quite tasty though. So it might be that we ordered to wrong main courses. It can get quite warm inside and there is no outdoor seating. I liked that they mention all allergies on their menu.

Dirty glasses, beer bottle had mold on the outside. Food was terrible. I can't say anything about the service because there was none!

The food was truly delicious, but the highlight was the homemade drinks; they're a must-try when visiting. The young woman who served us was also very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

We had a very good meal here months ago, but today we encountered unfriendly staff and truly not-so-good dishes. The spring rolls are definitely not homemade, even though the menu claims they are. Our food was also cold. A real shame. We were truly disappointed.

We waited almost an hour for our food. It wasn't busy, as there were only five tables occupied. Very disappointing.

Our Food was missing half of our stuff and it’s not really authentic Vietnamese, Japanese or anything. Very germanfied. I sent a picture to my dad and he laughed and said they’re serving German food instead of Vietnamese food

Not super fast, but incredibly tasty. I recommend the burger with crispy sweet potato fries and peanut sauce.

Amazing, the green mango salad is delicious, the pho soup too, plus the spring rolls, etc. The vegan versions are a masterpiece, I recommend it!!!

We had a lovely time. There are SO many options that I may have to come back to sample the sushi! Ultimately instead of having a lot of sushi we settled on noodle soup bowls and curry but did get a side of Tiger’s eye roll (highly recommend). The service could be seen as on the slow side but made up for in recommendations and attentiveness. The food is high quality. I’d love to come back. Loved the mochi dessert!

They were really helpful in changing ingredients to my needs and very friendly as well. Got number 43 modified to have udon noodles instead of rice (cooking banana with tofu). Tastes very common tbh, but they did not lie that cooking bananas are special on its own. Will try their avocado rice dish next! Husband was very happy with the spicy dish he had. Overall satisfied and will try again. Updated - still no AC unfortunately and have to look closely at numbers to be ordered e.g. 14 or 14a are different dishes. Still tasty. Depending on transport used takeout not suggested but most food and transport options work just fine.

Too high prices, too little flavor. Dishes very one-dimensional and simply uninteresting. I really appreciate the texture of seitan duck.

We had reserved a table in advance, which wasn't necessary. The restaurant was empty. Our family had given us a voucher for a set meal (starter, main course, and dessert). We had discussed with the friendly waitress beforehand that we would use the voucher to pay for drinks instead of dessert. She agreed, especially since our drinks were cheaper than dessert. After the meal, she refused to acknowledge this agreement, and we had to pay for our drinks even though we hadn't had dessert.

We were there on the weekend. Great selection, the server was friendly. The food was good but nothing special. The restrooms weren't well-equipped and had thick cobwebs, including residents. Unfortunately, despite the bill being just under €200, we had to pay 50 cents for a takeaway box.

The Singapore Flying Noodles with duck seitan and peanut sauce were good (I really liked the duck seitan!), but I've had better. Unfortunately, the salad wasn't very fresh (some of it was inedible) and was served without any dressing. I doubt it was even washed.

A very nice, harmonious place with super friendly service and truly amazing food. I can recommend it to any vegan who enjoys Asian food. 👍

Owner literally scammed me. I called for a pick up order. He tells me the menu online I'm looking at is not accurate. Recommends I go on ubereats or lieferando. Send my girlfriend to pick up the food as i'm in the hospital. Everything is 15€ more expensive. Called the store and got yelled at, owner has no accountability for false prices & doesn't even show a tiny bit of courtesy. Food was absolutely disgusting and old, stay away from toxic restaurants like this.

Horrible service, the waiter staying in the bar the whole time, didn't look up once to see if we needed something. We needed to get up 3 times to ask stuff. The place without music and looks sad and boring. The food was mid range and not worth it.

Delicious vegan burger. In contrast to the food, the homemade lemonade is pricey. Lots of ice cream, but still very tasty. The sweet potato fries were a bit soggy. Could be a bit crispier.

TLDR: Vegan duck - SUPERB! Had it with the Sot Avocado, this is what dreams are made of!

Very good food but the vegetables would have been better a little more cooked and spiced. My friend and I had 2 soups, mine had ravioli and his with tofu. I really enjoyed my soup while he found it a little too bland. I also ordered some really delicious sweet potato and avocado rolls. Sadly I wasn't able to finish it all as I was full but I still recommend the place. For some reason the place was empty (it was a bit early 1pm and we stayed until 2pm and the only other person got takeaway) the waiter was friendly but disappeared into the kitchen and you could hear shouting, poor guy I hope didn't argue with the cook.

The food here was delicious, hearty portions and the server gave me some good recommendations. Loved it.

Unfortunately the service was very flat. Not unfriendly, but completely emotionless, functioning. I didn't like the duck that much. Had a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste. The vegetables, noodles and peanut sauce were very tasty. It was a bit too cold in the restaurant.

Friendly service, delicious food (nem and sweet and sour soup as starters; udon noodles with seitan, Hanoi curry as main courses and at the end there was mochi ice cream)… and all at a fair price. Umi vegan is definitely worth a visit.

The food is just tasteless and overall pretty bad unfortunately. Kimchi tasted like unsalted, unseasoned 3 days old cabbage The dumplings soup was literally warm water with a couple unseasoned vegetables floating in it
