Und wieder, zehn Jahre später, ist die Liebe und Leidenschaft für die Kunst des Sushi ungebrochen. Der Empfang ist unglaublich herzlich, und kulinarisch gesehen ist dies für jeden Sushi-Liebhaber der perfekte Ort! Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den Inhaber und das gesamte Team – wir fühlen uns hier wie zu Hause. Dieser Ort weckt so viele schöne Erinnerungen und ist ideal, um authentisches Sushi, Maki, Sashimi und vieles mehr zu genießen. Ein wahrer Genuss! 🍣

Seit vielen Jahren gehen wir zu Sachiko Sushi, haben Sushi Kurse besucht und zeigen Freunden aus aller Welt dieses tolle Restaurant. Unseren letzten Besuch am vergangenen Freitag fanden wir alles andere als schön. Die beiden Sushi Experten hinter der „Bar“ hatten entweder einen schlechten Tag oder waren einfach nicht unser Fall. Beide wirkten sehr in sich geschlossen, genervt und Teils wahnsinnig arrogant. Bestellungen wurden genervt entgegen genommen und besten Fall 15-25 Minuten serviert. Hat uns dieses Mal gar keine Spaß gemacht. Weswegen wir dann auch unseren Besucht abbrachen, weil wir einfach keine Lust mehr hatten. Vielleicht solltet ihr auch noch das Sushi to Go überdenken, denn ich denke das war mit ein Grund für die Atmosphäre. Während die Gäste an der Bar warteten, wurden erstmal größere Mengen Sushi zum abholen zubereitet. Ich habe noch kein Restaurant gesehen, wo die zusätzliche Aufgabe der Bedienung des Lieferservices dazu führte, dass Gäste IM Restaurant mit deutlich längeren Wartezeiten auskommen mussten. Das zubereite Sushi ist Weltklasse, Wahnsinn kreative Kreationen und sehr lecker. Wir werden wieder kommen, irgendwann, wenn auch mit gemischten Gefühlen.

Dieses Sushi-Restaurant liegt an einem coolen, ungewöhnlichen Ort direkt unter den U-Bahn-Gleisen. Der Service war tadellos und das Sushi hervorragend. Die beiden Köche bereiteten viele verschiedene Kombinationen zu und kreierten außerdem extra für eine Person aus unserer Gruppe zwei Sushi-Rollen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für das tolle kulinarische Erlebnis und das fantastische Sushi!

Leider enttäuschend. Das Essen war kalt, die Preise viel zu hoch und die vegetarische Auswahl zudem sehr eingeschränkt. Für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hätte ich mir deutlich mehr erwartet.

Das Sushi-Restaurant „Sushi Train“ ist in Wirklichkeit ein Bootskanal. Die Lage unter einer Eisenbahnpassage ist genauso ungewöhnlich. Das Sushi ist frisch, die Getränkeauswahl und der Service lassen etwas zu wünschen übrig. Reservieren Sie unbedingt, da es dort recht voll werden kann.

Super Laden, super nette, sympathische Crew, Sushi vom Feinsten... Keine Ahnung, warum ich da nicht vorher war. Bitte weiter so, wir kommen wieder.

Gute Sushi, abwesender Getränkekellner. Teuer. Erster Eindruck ansprechend: Zwei Sushi-Köche arbeiten tüchtig in der Mitte stehend und beladen die kleinen Holzboote, die in einem Wasserkanal um die Kochinsel herum am Tresen entlang ihre Runden machen. Wir setzen uns hin und können uns gleich bedienen. Allerdings sind die meisten Boote leer, man muss etwas warten. Das Schöne ist, man kann den Köchen bei der Arbeit zuschauen und sieht, wie alles frisch zubereitet wird. Zu diesem Szenario im Gegensatz steht ein Getränkekellner, der durch mangelnde Präsenz auffällt, obwohl er eigentlich nur für gelegentlichen Nachschub an Fritiertem und Getränke für wenige Gäste zuständig ist. Wir werden nach Getränkewünschen nicht gefragt. Meiner Mutter gelingt es schließlich ein Bier zu bestellen, das nach einer halben Stunde nicht eintrifft. Ich gehe nach hinten und frage. Dort steht der Kellner versteckt vor den Blicken der Gäste, hält ein Schwätzchen, entschuldigt sich immerhin. Wir zahlen, das geht schnell, die Rechnung ist hoch: Die Anzahl der, von den Booten genommenen Teller ist der Faktor, mit dem multipliziert wurde. Fazit: Gutes Konzept, um viel Geld zu machen. Für uns Kunden den Preis nicht wert.

Der Duft, das Essen, die Atmosphäre!!!! Außergewöhnlich!!! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir sagen herzlichst Danke für Eure offene Art, Eure Tips, Inspirationen und die schönen bereichernden Stunden bei und mit Euch! Alles hat gepasst, und lecker war es obendrein! Wir testen heute mal zu Hause, was wir lernen durften und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder gern zu Euch! LG von den beiden Henke's

Wirklich cooles Restaurant, freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Sushi!

Der Sushi Kurs ist spitze. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Meine Frau und ich kommen seit Jahren regelmäßig hierher und können bestätigen, dass das Essen fantastisch ist und die Mitarbeiter jedes Mal überaus freundlich waren. Die Probleme, die wir haben, betreffen die Organisation und die allgemeine Atmosphäre. Anstatt zu harsch zu kritisieren, möchte ich Verbesserungsvorschläge machen: 1. Der Hauptreiz liegt darin, dass es sich um ein Sushi-Restaurant mit Fließband handelt, man kann aber auch bestellen. Das bedeutet jedoch, dass bei großem Andrang oft ein oder beide Köche mit einzelnen Bestellungen beschäftigt sind und das Band lange Zeit unbeachtet bleibt. Bei unserem letzten Besuch wurden innerhalb von 25 Minuten nur zwei Rollen (zusätzlich zu den Vorspeisen) auf das Band gelegt, die sofort vergriffen waren. Ich weiß, dass man in Japan auch bestellen kann, aber dort gibt es in der Regel viele Köche, die sehr effizient arbeiten. Vielleicht sollte man Bestellungen nur erlauben, wenn das Restaurant nicht so voll ist? Oder wenn das Band einigermaßen gefüllt ist? Oder nur eine Rolle alle paar Minuten? Beim letzten Mal haben mehrere Gäste sofort Unmengen an Essen bestellt, obwohl das Sushi-Band leer war. Deshalb sind wir gegangen. Natürlich können wir auch bestellen, aber wir gehen ja nicht in so ein Restaurant, um Sushi zu essen – das widerspricht dem Sinn des Ganzen. 2. Das andere Problem ist manchmal die Atmosphäre. Es ist ein etwas teureres, gehobenes Restaurant, aber freitags und samstags abends sitzen oft viele kleine Kinder (unter 10) am Sushi-Band. Sie sind oft laut, fassen alles an, husten herum, ohne dass ihre Eltern etwas unternehmen. Angesichts der Art, wie das Essen serviert wird, und der Stimmung im Restaurant ist das sehr unappetitlich. Ich will nicht sagen, dass Kinder verboten werden sollten, aber vielleicht wäre eine Altersbegrenzung am Tresen (und Familien könnten zusammen an einem Tisch sitzen, da sie erfahrungsgemäß sowieso hauptsächlich für die Kinder bestellen) oder ein Verbot nach einer bestimmten Uhrzeit eine Lösung? Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Wenn das Laufband funktioniert und das Restaurant eine angenehme Atmosphäre hat, ist es einer meiner Lieblingsorte zum Essen in Berlin. Allerdings ist es Glückssache, was man dort bekommt. Nachdem ich nun schon ein paar Mal hungrig und/oder frustriert aus einem Lokal gegangen bin, wo die Rechnung für zwei Personen inklusive Getränke locker über 100 € beträgt, werde ich wohl nicht mehr hingehen und stattdessen lieber woanders essen gehen, wo mein Genuss am Abend nicht von irgendwelchen Zufallsfaktoren abhängt.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Sie fahren mit einem kleinen Boot herum und bedienen die Gäste… Ein toller Ort, um mit seinen Liebsten auszugehen. Das Sushi ist fantastisch.

Wunderbar! Ich habe erst heute einen Kochkurs absolviert und muss sagen: Es war wirklich sehr schön und angenehm. Das Essen war top und die Zutaten waren offen einsehbar (keine Qualitätsmängel). Zudem gab es super nettes Personal und eine schöne Atmosphäre mit angenehmem Ambiente. Essen leider etwas teuer aber das ist ja dem aktuellen Markt geschuldet. Gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Allerdings hat uns das Ambiente und der Service nicht gefallen. Wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt und sind daher auch schnell wieder gegangen.

Wir haben als Familie einen Sushi-Kurs hier gemacht und sind alle mehr als begeistert! Den Namen „Sushi-Kurs“ hat sich dieser Mittag wirklich verdient, denn man kriegt eine Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung, wie man selber zum perfekten Sushi kommt. Dabei steht die Praxis dabei eindeutig im Vordergrund, sodass man viele Rollen Zeit hat die Handgriffe zu üben! Von Maki über Inside-Out bis flambiertes Sushi ist alles dabei! Der Chef höchstpersönlich gibt den Kurs und führt geschickt durch den doch recht vollen Kursplan, legt aber gleichzeitig solch eine Geduld an den Tag, sodass jeder hier mitkommen kann. Das selbstgemachte Sushi durften wir dann sofort verkosten oder mitnehmen, denn für sofort essen, waren es zu viele Rollen. Zwischendrin waren auch immer wieder ein paar Theorieblöcke eingestreut, in denen wir eine Einführung in die perfekte Zubereitung den Reises, aber auch die Zubereitung von Soßen mit Geheimrezepten des Chefs bekommen haben. Am Ende gab es alle Informationen noch einmal gesammelt auf einer Übersicht zum Mit-Nach-Hause nehmen. Insgesamt war es ein super tolles Erlebnis und einer der besten Kochkurse, die ich je besucht habe!

Ein fantastischer Ort! Das Sushi ist unglaublich lecker und frisch. Alles wird direkt vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet und serviert, und die Boots-Anordnung ist einfach witzig. Das elegante Ambiente ist ideal für einen gelungenen Abend.

Now that's what I call culinary artistry! Simply the best sushi in Berlin... I've been coming here since I was a child! The team is incredibly welcoming, and it's always a fantastic experience... they're very attentive and attentive to the guests. Anyone who appreciates authentic sushi, not just the "sushi" you get at your local joint, will find an exceptional culinary experience here!

Super delicious sushi on small boats. ^^ The space is very small, but we got a seat at the counter without a reservation (although reservations are recommended). The sushi chefs and the waiter are friendly. I highly recommend it.

It's a bit difficult to know whether you're helping yourself directly to the little boats that pass under your nose or whether you're waving to the cooks, probably both. Quiet on weekdays. The sushi is truly excellent, prepared before your eyes with obviously very fresh ingredients.

It is one of the best sushi restaurant I've ever been in. Each plate is delicious, and the chefs also improvise their own creation on the spot which can lead to things but even in the menu. I only gave it 5 stars because I can't give more!

I attended a sushi cooking class here – booked through Jochen Schweizer – and it was simply fantastic! Booking was easy, the location in the Jeanne-Mammen-Bögen is super charming and easily accessible (Savignyplatz S-Bahn station nearby). Our instructor was very friendly, explained everything clearly, and took time for each participant. We prepared various types of sushi – from nigiri and maki to inside-out rolls – and were able to try everything right away. The ingredients and sauces were fresh and of top quality, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. A fantastic experience for sushi fans and a great gift idea. I'll definitely be back – either for another class or simply to enjoy sushi here as a guest!

The best sushi I've ever eaten!

It was truly an experience. The sushi is prepared fresh on the spot. Special requests are also promptly fulfilled. For example, if the kids only want one type of sushi, the sushi is prepared especially for them, and they have almost no wait. For kids who aren't used to using chopsticks, they also make "child's chopsticks." These worked perfectly. However, you shouldn't come here hungry or with a thick wallet. It's a top-notch sushi restaurant.

We went to a sushi cooking class today. It was so much fun, explained really well, and totally impressive. I would do it again anytime. I gave the class to my son for his 18th birthday, and we both had a really great time together.

Great food, lovely ambiance, live cooking, but please no questions asked ;) We, like many other parents, kept our promise on the day the report cards were handed out. A table or rather a seat at the "ship's bar" with the sushi plates floating by was reserved, and great anticipation of the sushi we already knew there was in the air. The whole thing was only slightly dampened by the "chef" himself. Obviously annoyed by everything, by the guests, by the children, you never know – no smile, no hello – somehow "real Berlin," I thought, but does it really have to be that way? As a Berliner myself, I resist unfriendliness per se and try with all my charm and friendly questions about the creations he conjures up... to get a positive reaction, a smile, or at least brief eye contact... no chance... short, concise, barely audible answers, along the lines of: don't bother me and I don't care if you're here with a child... What a shame! Everyone has bad days, and they have no place in the restaurant industry—at least not with paying, friendly guests. The waiter, on the other hand, was very, very nice and attentive. Summary (from the daughter): "It was very tasty, but the man in the boat was strange; he might not like his job"...hmm.

The most delicious sushi in Berlin. It's a sushi train & you pick what you want. You watch the chefs prepare it in front of you. Its really good value, we had maybe 8 plates and it was €65 (including drinks). Lovely waiter and the chefs were friendly. No complaints!

I tried several different types of sushi and I could hardly decide which one I liked best because they were all so delicious. The best sushi I've ever had! The service was friendly and attentive. This is truly one of the best, if not THE BEST, sushi bars in Berlin. Huge selection, including many unique and unusual variations that you won't find on every corner. Very tasty sushi, but overpriced (almost €37 for a miso soup, a pot of tea, and three sushi plates, two of which should have cost €5), and not very inviting. I didn't really feel welcome as a customer, quite unlike in real Japanese restaurants. What a shame!

Very tasty and unusual sushi. The chef is in the middle, freshly preparing the sushi. You can also order some extra. Sitting is like sitting at a bar and it's harder to talk to more than three people. Otherwise a great shop and nice staff.

A small restaurant with the chefs in the middle and the guests around them. The sushi is freshly prepared and in addition to grabbing sushi from the boats, you can also request sushi from the chef. The fish is at room temperature and the rice is soft, which I really liked compared to refrigerated pre-made “home delivered” sushi. The host regularly walks by to see if everything is still as desired and also puts some fried snacks on the boats here and there. This was a really nice experience with delicious food!

Very Good. The sushi is awesome and I highly recommend the roll platter. It comes in a special way and the only way for you to know is to try it.

I love this sushi place! Some of the best sushi I had in Berlin. The atmosphere is cosy and the chefs and waiter are very friendly. I recommend the Philli flambiert. Really tasty! It's a bit on the pricey side but worth it for a special evening out.

We were in the restaurant on a Friday and were initially a bit skeptical because of the somewhat gloomy atmosphere. The store is definitely missing the lamps in the right place. If you like sushi off the assembly line, this is just the thing for you. The quality was fresh and the taste was okay. What always appeals to me is the use of mayo and cream cheese - nobody does that in Japan. The service was super nice and the price was also okay.

We came here spontaneously in the early evening and luckily got two seats. The sushi was really delicious. Unusual compositions, the way we love it. The atmosphere also impressed us. Very tasty, thank you very much!

We took a sushi cooking class today. Everything was calmly explained and shown to us. There was support and even the ugliest sushi rolls were praised with a lot of humor. Price-performance with drinks, enough homemade sushi and a starter kit is suitable. Only recommended!! :)

OMG, I loved this place. The boats were super cute and the overall vibe of the place was amazing. The service was super fast for the a la carte options, and all the sushi I tried was amazing! If you’re looking for an amazing sushi place, highly recommend!

For my 70th birthday, my granddaughter and her partner gave me a sushi course as a gift. I love sushi, but I always had a hard time making it...that's why I was so happy about the gift that she and my daughter attended the course with me. My conclusion...it was simply great and I was able to take so much tips and knowledge with me that I 100% saved myself the trip to Asia and will lend a hand myself. The starter package is the best way to get started. A big compliment to the boss Tillmann, who explained everything patiently, humorously but correctly. I can, no I simply have to, recommend this course because it was simply fun. If you love sushi you won't regret it.

We were there last night for our anniversary. And it was great. Absolutely delicious sushi. Great atmosphere. Nice staff who are happy to explain what they have conjured up. Once again we ate more than was necessary, but what the heck! Not exactly cheap, but completely justified given the quality and worth every cent. At least top 3 of all the sushis I've eaten in my life & I've gotten around a bit. Very happy again.

I was there for my birthday, which is why there was a lot of food. The quality was incredibly good and the staff was very nice. The small boats were of course very beautiful and calming to look at. The starters were also very tasty. When we asked, we were given other requests that were not available on the boats

Made sushi course. Great👍 Very well explained, funny, good quality, different types of sushi made with salmon, shrimp and vegetables. Ate deliciously, took home-made sushi box with us. The course fee includes a starter kit with bamboo roll, rice, nori sheets, wasabi powder, ginger, rice vinegar, soy sauce and stimulants. The course instructor was really MEGA. The 3.5 hours went by very quickly.

Feels like 8is all about money.. when we get in, they , the chefs, seems disturbed or not happy and not even a word for welcoming. It was like they are food robots.. or they had a sad day... Nnnahhh, the restaurant and the lady there, with serving and all the rest, very ok. Food.. maybe it was good but for me and other friends , wasnt top, maybe we are not enough familiar with soushi...

It was our first time eating sushi and the food came floating past, which is pretty mean ;-) It was super tasty and it's been a long time since we found a great sushi restaurant. Unfortunately there is too much of it and too many bad ones. But Sachiko is a beacon and stands out with good sushi.
