Simply wow! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Very authentic and delicious cuisine! An older Italian chef stands alone in the back and conjures up the most delicious creations. The service was very attentive, the menu was small and seasonal, and the produce was fresh and of high quality. Definitely worth recommending; this restaurant is a Berlin insider tip!
Well,...the store isn't as bad as some people write here. We received friendly service and the food was good. The ambience is a snack bar with tables but completely OK.
Everything was fine at first, but unfortunately, three girls had to cancel spontaneously during a round of ten, and the owner reacted very annoyed. (Rolling eyes and unfriendly) The customer is king, that's how it is, and I find it very inappropriate. There were enough tables everywhere where more guests could have sat down. The food was good, but unfortunately we won't be coming back. Rudeness in the restaurant industry is the biggest killer. However, the other waitress and one male waiter were very, very nice, so the stars go to those two - thank you.
So far we've "only" had lunch several times, but that alone is of the highest quality and at €9.90 (including good espresso) it's actually way too cheap.
The chef absolutely knows what he's doing, the service is quick, attentive and friendly, and the ambience is rather fine, but at the same time relaxed and nice. The open kitchen (without smells spreading into the dining room) also contributes a lot to the comfort and atmosphere.
You definitely have to go there in the evenings, even if the prices are significantly higher. But since the cooking there is very good, that's appropriate.
That's why again: Thanks for the affordable and always great lunch! We appreciate that

UPDATE July 29th, 2024: unfortunately now permanently closed without notice! Restaurant was being emptied by people I didn't know as I walked past. When I asked, this was confirmed. If I understood that correctly, this also comes as a surprise to the previous operators, who 10 days ago only took the vacation that was usual at the time and was also announced.
I'll update if anything changes.
