The Pizza Diavola was good, but this (see picture) is not what you expect from a Pizza Caprese. It neither looked good nor did it taste good...unfortunately disappointing.
We had an excellent meal.
The food was presented differently than usual.
A huge pizza with garlic, tomato, cheese, and eggplant, not a single dark spot on the bottom, and a great taste.
The spaghetti with aglio e olio was dressed with roasted garlic slices, simply superb!
It was a culinary holiday experience.
Really good, highly recommended! 😀😋🤤🤭
We recently went there for dinner with seven people, and the portions were very large and definitely very good value for money compared to other places. The pizza and all the other dishes were excellent. We'll definitely be back, and keep up the good work! Best regards and thank you! 😘
The food and service were not overwhelming for a restaurant of this reputation, however, I must emphasize the ambiance very positively; the interior design made of the finest materials completely convinced me, a clear recommendation!
We were here for the first time today and we really enjoyed the food. We would love to come back 😌 the service was also very nice and polite and we were served quickly 👍 even though we were busy the order was quick with normal waiting times 👌👍 our pizzas were very tasty 😋 the price/performance ratio was totally fine 👍 we can only recommend it
Very good food and quick service. In summer it's lovely to eat on the terrace. 06/12/2025 I had a cabin-style cordon bleu, the filling was unfortunately a bit too salty 😔. The service was very good and quick. The price-performance ratio is very good, and almost every meal includes a side salad 👍😊.
Quite nice, and I've been there before, but this time they completely messed up. I ordered four things, and three-quarters were cold, even though they were picked up on time, and one was also wrong. Apparently, they mixed something up and gave me the wrong one.
Unfortunately, only below average.
We ate there today as a group of seven. Unfortunately, two dishes were wrong, and later he wanted to charge us the higher price of what we had originally ordered.
The taste wasn't great either.
The ambiance is beautiful, and we had a quiet corner table just as we'd requested. They offer a wide variety of dishes, even if you're looking for something a bit more extravagant.
Ordering, delivery, and service were all top-notch. It might be a bit pricey for some, but it's worth it. The location is great, right next to the Deutsches Theater, if you want to combine your visit with a performance.
As seen in the pictures: a Campari Spritz, a Pinsa Salmone, and a Tiramisu.
We were really looking forward to visiting the Gasthaus Mitteltor – it had been recommended to us several times. The experience there was all the more disappointing.
In the dining room, we were completely ignored. The server walked past us twice and, when I politely asked, simply said, "No room here." This was neither friendly nor welcoming.
The dining room was almost empty. We got the impression that guests with dogs weren't welcome. A real shame – this is not what one expects from hospitable service.
I find the food delicious… we've been a few times now… always very satisfied! The portions are also generous… you definitely leave full!
So, five stars!
