It's a good place to eat if you need an affordable restaurant and are visiting Munich. I had the best gyros I've ever had there. The atmosphere is serene and family-friendly, with a wide variety of Greek and Italian dishes. The family that has run the restaurant since 1988 has done a great job of reflecting their Mediterranean heritage in their food and the local climate. 100% recommended for those passing through the English Garden.

Extremely unfriendly and inflexible. If you try to pay by card, you get yelled at 😂 This store couldn't survive on the LMU side of the ground floor. They're just lucky there's hardly any competition around. And ridiculously expensive for super-mediocre quality. I'll never be back.

Affordable, nice location, friendly staff and good and tasty menu.

They serve you very kindly, and even though they speak a different language, they do their best to ensure you understand, and they're very polite. The food is delicious, fresh, and natural. The pizzas are thin and crispy, made with quality ingredients. The price-performance ratio is very good.

We discovered this restaurant by chance during a short trip to Munich. It's an insider tip! Newly renovated, with outdoor seating, the food was excellent, including dishes off the menu, and the service was very friendly and attentive. There was a long table with guests at a party to one side, and it didn't bother us at all because subtle insulation under the ceiling created a peaceful atmosphere. This allowed us to share our wonderful experiences in Munich with our friends. When we're back in Munich, we'd love to visit Paradiso again, which lives up to its name. And you should definitely stop by, too.

Every time we are in Munich, this is on our lunch list. Easy to reach from the Englisch Garden or by tram. For lunch you can make a great lunch out of small plates. They have been, and they are, at the top of their game.

Super nice, and always up for a joke. Plus, a delicious, inexpensive lunch – it's a pleasure to go there! Today, a particularly delicious lunch in the tried-and-true Greek-Italian fusion style... Chicken with roasted vegetables, And before that, a large bowl of creamy homemade soup. It's a shame I don't live around the corner.

Good food, very fair prices. The Italian/Greek combination sounds a bit wild at first, but the food was consistently good. The carbonara was fresh and well prepared. The price at just under €12 is also more than fair. Service was very nice. Gladly again.

Luckily the Paradiso is open again, the food is great as usual, a nice, varied daily menu, the staff and owners are warm and attentive, so that you feel at home there and you'll love going back again and again!

Restaurant Paradiso is one of the best restaurants to dine in when visiting Munich. The atmosphere is amazing and the service really friendly, helpful and fast also they will answer any question you might have about the food you will be ordering. The food was absolutely amazing having tried the pizza buratta as the main dish and the chicken alla creme. Both dishes were a 10/10. The restaurant has menus for different times of the day so the choices you will have are plenty. Lastly the location of the restaurant is next to the English Gardens which is an amazing spot to sit , relax and enjoy the amazing scenery! In conclusion the restaurant is an absolute must when visiting Munich!

The service was attentive and warm, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely like to come back. Highly recommended!

Nice smaller restaurant, with Greek and Italian dishes. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients and tasted very good, the prices were reasonable and the service was very friendly. A special request (topping that wasn't on the menu) was also happily fulfilled. We are very happy about this “random find”.

I ate lasagna there once. Worst lasagna I've ever eaten. Far from authentic. But that may also be because the restaurant is run by Greeks. I haven't tried Greek here yet... However, it is relatively cheap here for Munich

A treat for gourmets! When it comes to appetizers, I was particularly impressed by the bruschetta and the tzatziki. The bruschetta was perfectly toasted, crispy and topped with fresh, sun-ripened tomatoes. The combination of the light garlic aroma, the thin basil and the creamy mozzarella was simply heavenly. As for the ambience, Paradiso was welcoming and stylishly decorated. The service was excellent, the staff was attentive and friendly.

A very nice quaint family run restaurant right next to English Garden Entry. The outside seating is very pleasant and beautiful. The servers are very helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The Kotopoulo me Manintaria was divine and the salads are great and very fresh. The servers were kind and friendly to our non-German speaking group. We would definitely return for another meal. Thanks for a great night!

Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte das Souvlaki, dazu kam ein Beilagensalat. Zum Nachtisch eine Schokotarte mit Vanilleeis. Das Fleisch war ausgezeichnet, zart und gut gewürzt. Ein Stern abzug, weil ich mir am Salat mehr Dressing gewünscht hätte und die Kartoffeln hätten für meinen Geschmack etwas knuspriger sein können. Nachtisch ausgezeichnet. Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Definitiv zu empfehlen und einen Besuch wert.

We ate her while traveling this summer. We had a wonderful dinner. The food was perfectly done and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is ample outside and inside seating. A very nice ambience in a neighborhood only a few minutes outside of the downtown area of Munich. We will return on our next visit to Germany.

Wir sind sehr gerne hier. Gerade im Sommer kann man wunderbar entspannt im Garten draußen sitzen und bekommt gutes Essen (griechische/mediterrane Küche). Bedienung und Service sind top. Erst nachdem wir uns mal mit Freunden drüber unterhalten haben ist uns aufgefallen, dass wir bisher nie - kein einziges Mal - unfreundlich bedient wurden oder auf irgendwas lange warten mussten. Und es muss ja einen Grund geben, warum es das Paradiso und die Leute dort gefühlt schon ewig gibt.

Toller Salat mit gebackenem Feta

Fantastisches Ambiente im gemütlichen Biergarten, so freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, frische und leckere Speisen. Empfehlenswert sind auf jedenfall die gegrillte Spitzpaprika (eingelegt, mit Füllung), die Zucchinipflanzerl (mit Zaziki) und das überbacken Gemüse (alles frisch). Unser Kleinkind hat die Spaghetti Bolognese verschlungen! ;)

Sehr leckeres Restaurant. Die Kalbsleber war butterzart und saftig. Sehr leckeres Gemüse dazu. Fein. Personal sehr freundlich und nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr schöner Außenbereich.

Rundum zufrieden, wir waren ganz spontan vor Ort und haben glücklicherweise auch einen Platz bekommen. Das Ambiente ist drinnen wie draußen sehr schön und gemütlich. Der Service super freundlich und flink. Wir hatten eine Pizza und einen Salat mit Schafskäse und beides war frisch und sehr lecker. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben wirklich im Paradies gespeist. Eine Dorade vom Grill, mit knackigen Gemüsen, dazu einen gut gekühlten Lugana und zum Abschluss einen herrlich duftenden Espresso. Das ist das Paradiso!

Nach langer Zeit - Corona lässt grüßen - wieder ein paar Tage in München. Und ein Weg führt wieder zum Paradiso. Wir werden freundlich begrüßt, die Freude des Chefs über den Besuch des Gastes aus Wien wirkt ehrlich und überzeugend. Schnell kommt die Speiskarte, dazu gibt es den Hinweis auf die Tagesspezialitäten. Schnell auch die Klärung der Frage nach einer Spezialität des Hauses, die nicht auf der Karte steht. Und sofort bestellen meine Frau und ich die Lammhaxe in Zitronensoße mit Kartoffel. Die Erinnerung täuscht nicht - das Fleisch lässt sich leicht vom Knochen lösen, die Erdäfelscheiben sind im richtigen Zustand angebraten. Wollte man etwas kritisieren, dann das, dass die Zitronensoße vielleicht zu geschmackvoll ist (aber mit der Zeit merkt man auch den Geschmack der beigemengten Dille). Positiv erwähnen muss man auch, dass es zu allen Hauptspeisen auch einen Teller Salat als Vorspeis gibt. Die zum Dessert gewählte Mascarponecreme wäre alleine schon den Besuch wert. Ich bin ja eher ein Fan von Käse als Nachspeise, aber dieses Desset überzeugt mich vollkommen. Die Preis sind absolut moderat. Und meine Frau und ich kommen gerne wieder.
