Grillmaier is a truly recommendable restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly and attentive service and a pleasant, almost familial atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome. The restaurant is well-maintained, comfortably furnished, and inviting, whether you're dining as a couple or in a larger group.
The Cordon Bleu is particularly noteworthy. It's freshly pounded, lovingly prepared, and cooked to perfection. Beautifully crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. You can simply taste the genuine craftsmanship at work here. The side dishes were also perfectly matched and complemented the meal beautifully.
The service is attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. You can tell the team is passionate about what they do. This makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The only minor drawback is the parking situation, which can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours. However, with a little patience, you can usually find a spot nearby.
Overall, a fantastic restaurant with excellent food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. A visit is definitely worthwhile, especially for lovers of traditional, high-quality cuisine.
We were at the Bayernhütte yesterday and had to wait over an hour for our food… if only it had been good. The Kaspressknödel (cheese dumplings) weren't homemade and they were cold, too. There was no sign of butter or Parmesan, and they forgot the dressing on the salad. They probably couldn't keep up with the rush. I hope things will sort themselves out soon… I usually really like the Bayernhütte.
Although the restaurant was full due to the church fair and we hadn't made a reservation, we received a warm welcome. The daily specials were ready, and the food was on the table in minutes. The taste was a dream. Keep it up!
A lovely little cozy restaurant. The food was excellent! The prices are a bit higher, but definitely justified. The waiters were incredibly friendly and cheerful. We'll gladly come back.
The landlady was incredibly friendly. There wasn't actually a table available, but they spontaneously let us sit at the regulars' table. The food was absolutely delicious. Choosing this restaurant was a great decision.
While exploring Munich, we came across Alois and stopped in for a quick bite. They offer both fine dining and takeaway, and we went with takeaway.
There was a good variety to choose from. Here’s what we ordered with our ratings
Vegetable lasagne 4/5
Tomato mozzarella tarte 4/5
Tiramisu 5/5
The food tasted great, and the service was quick and efficient with the packing.
Tortellini as a starter was a dream. Very tasty.
The bruschetta lacked a certain flair.
The pasta for the main course was very salty.
But it was just about edible.
Unfortunately, the tiramisù was a disaster. You shouldn't call it tiramisù.
Yellow cream, cherries, and amerettini.
Unfortunately, a solid 6!
The yellow cream was also just sweet and tasted of nothing. A shame.
The service was quite okay.
I ordered the sirloin steak with salsiccia sauce. Unfortunately, they forgot my beef. A shame.
Exceptional cuisine based on the "local - regional - principle" – in the heart of Wasserburg's old town. Refined dishes, great wines, a superb ambiance, witty guests, and truly warm and outstanding service! Not exactly inexpensive, but a definite recommendation for a special evening or occasion! Be sure to go, enter, and enjoy...
I treated myself to a doner kebab there today. It tasted very good, but I had to search for the "meat" – I'd estimate it made up about 1% of the toppings, which is unacceptable. I was really disappointed. When I order a doner kebab, I expect to actually have a doner kebab, not just side dishes!
To the owner: I would gladly have paid an extra euro if it had been a proper doner kebab and not just salad!
Delicious food in a great atmosphere. Very friendly service, and they try to accommodate all of the guests' culinary wishes. I would definitely recommend making a reservation.
We went for lunch on Boxing Day.
My first impression was overwhelming; the large dining room was completely packed with people.
We then had to wait a correspondingly long time for our food—75 minutes to be exact. Other tables unfortunately left after two hours without eating.
The service was completely overwhelmed, although in my opinion, the servers weren't to blame because there were simply far too many hungry people for the few servers, and the kitchen understandably couldn't keep up.
The food was very good, and the portions were generous.
Unfortunately, more isn't always better.
