Toller Biergarten mit Baumbestand. Hunde willkommen. Kleiner Spielplatz für Kinder. (Könnte etwas freundlicher gestalten werden) Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Essen kommt schnell. Gutes Preis/Leistungsfähigkeit. Parkplätze vorhanden, allerdings eher kleiner Parkplatz. Ich komme gern hier her.

War mit meiner Frau zum wiederholten mal da und es war wie immer, nettes Personal,große Portionen und das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis überragend. Wir werden immer wieder wenn wir in Bayern sind vorbei schauen.

Wir waren auf Durchreise und hielten zum G’sellnhaus. Wir waren total überrascht wie voll es war. Und konnten es dann im Nachhinein gut verstehen . Preisleistung 1a Total liebe Mitarbeiter 🤗 Das Essen für die Kids war fix fertig. Wir mussten etwas warten, hat sich jedoch wirklich gelohnt ! Wir waren total positiv überrascht. Vorallem der Kaiserschmarrn war meggggaa lecker. Wir werden trotz längerer Anreise euch wieder besuchen kommen. Daher großes Lob und definitiv weiterzuempfehlen! 🥰

Top Auswahl und sehr gutes Essen. Zudem große Portionen und preislich auch sehr günstig. Der Service und die Bedienungen sind top. Für mich absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich weiss nicht woherdie positiven bewertungen kommen War jetzt 2 mal da das erste und das lethte nal Hab noch nie so schlecht gegessen Pommes hart ohne ende und absolut null gewürz am essen Schade um die zeit und das geld was wir investiert haben .............

Wie waren heute das erste Mal da, leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht! Der Grillteller war sehr schön angerichtet und das Fleisch auf den Punkt. Leider ist das Dressing vom Salat überhaupt nicht genießbar und die Pommes waren Steinhart und ohne jegliches Gewürz, das Fleisch sieht Gewürze auch nur von weitem bekommt aber keins. Kann es überhaupt nicht weiterempfehlen!

Wir wurden super freundlich bedient. Gegessen haben wir nichts, aber die Speisekarte bot ein großes Angebot zu sehr fairen Preisen.

Super Preis Leistungs Verhältnis

Haben hier Abend gegessen. Personal freundlich und schnell im Service. Das Essen ist eher einfach gestrickt aber gemessen am Preis gut. Diverse Schnitzel, Salate, Fisch und mehr. Sollte für jeden was dabei sein. Unser Essen kam gefühlt 5 min nach Bestellung. Das hat uns etwas gewundert, wie das Fleisch so schnell fertig sein könnte, aber geschmeckt hat es gut, daher maße ich mir hier kein Urteil über die Zubereitung an. Portionen waren üppig. Nachspeise auch gut. Somit alles in allem einen Besuch wert.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, Essen würde schnell serviert und war wirklich lecker! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren spontan Sonntag 16.00 Uhr Mittagessen. 😊 > ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eine wirklich tolle Gaststätte! Die Bedienung war super freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Alles ging schnell, ohne Hektik – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, und das zu einem fairen Preis. So ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis findet man heute nur noch selten. Bitte Preise so belassen! Großes Lob an den Koch und an jede Bedienung – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

The staff seemed overwhelmed, but the food was okay.

The restaurant looks almost unassuming, but you could call it a hidden gem. We discovered the G'sellnhaus by chance and booked it for our group. We were given a large room to ourselves and were served incredibly quickly. The selection of dishes is generous, as are the portions. Prices are absolutely fair; a visit is definitely affordable for the whole family. The children received their food immediately. Despite staff shortages, as the chef informed us, we all received our meals in quick succession – and it was already quite busy. A special highlight: the weekly menu is also available on Saturday lunchtimes – fantastic! Hats off to a friendly and efficient team! Highly recommended for a visit with friends or family!

Highly recommended! I ate at Zum G’sellnhaus in Vilsbiburg and was truly delighted. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and the value for money was excellent. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. You feel right at home there. The atmosphere is also cozy and typically Bavarian – perfect for a lovely meal with friends or family. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

A lovely restaurant in a beautiful location, easily accessible by car and on foot. Parking is available. We made a reservation, but it's not strictly necessary, even though we were there on a Sunday at lunchtime. It was quite busy, still at 1 p.m., but we got a table. The food was delicious. We had pumpkin soup, two roast beef with onions, and one turkey schnitzel, along with two side salads and four large drinks, for a total of €71. We haven't paid that much in a long time. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

A wonderful Bavarian restaurant where the price-performance ratio is still excellent. For example, schnitzel with fries or potato salad for €11 – a generous portion and very tasty.

Tasty traditional german dishes, quick and welcoming staff speaking both german and english. The dining room could get a bit more decorated

We were only in the area for a day and wanted something German for dinner. And we found the perfect place. No waiting, everything was quick, and everyone enjoyed it 😀

No idea what you're hoping to find there. It's a cafeteria atmosphere, with grandma's tablecloths. The meat on the grill is lukewarm and tough. If you dig under the huge pile of fries long enough, you'll find the grill butter. The tomato cream soup is a boiled-down, tasteless mush. From the beer garden, there's a direct view of the dumpsters and bulky waste. You can even glimpse into the kitchen... the hallway is stacked with full garbage bags. Everything is very appetizing; I certainly won't be back!

Food was good and plentiful. Favorable economy. Unfortunately, the beer garden could not be enjoyed in winter. Hospitality was great and friendly. No forever waiting time. Parking is rather difficult, if possible avoid the fairground (150m)

Very nice Bavarian restaurant 👍😋. The food is simply delicious. The steak was fried completely tender. The service is perfect, and every now and then you are asked if everything is okay 👍. The ambience is absolutely Bavarian. Always happy, and absolutely recommended 👍.

Went spontaneously yesterday with a larger group and were served in a very friendly manner, warmly welcomed and we all really enjoyed the food!

Were invited for lunch. The table was reserved and therefore beautifully set, the food was good and despite there being a lot of guests it went quickly.

I waited 20 minutes to be served but no one came to me during that time. My annoyance was that other local guests arrived after me and were immediately offered a menu and a drink. I, on the other hand, was completely ignored the whole time. I find it rude of both waitresses who just watched me while I sat at the table without anything and never came to me.

Nice beer garden, good food and very friendly staff

The lunch menu is cheap, but we didn't really like the food. We were in Vilsbiburg twice for business and had lunch here twice. The first time a grill plate (it was good) and Asian noodles with vegetables and chicken. You had to look for the vegetables, a bit of Chinese cabbage, that was it, the chicken was dry. The second time we ordered sirloin with herb butter and potato wedges and a cordon bleu with potato salad. Each with a side salad. The side salad was a few lettuce leaves, a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato and 3 grated carrots, all with a dressing (French dressing probably). The "loin" was very surprisingly about 0.5 cm thin and very wide, it was dry pork, maybe minute steaks? When we asked, the waitress said they would knock the loin. The cordon bleu was good, but the potato salad was ice cold. Our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing for us, unfortunately good food is something else.

Price performance 👍, for grill plate €13.90 large portion, with drink and dessert €23. Will definitely come again. Additionally, please reserve in good time. Keep it up ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A traditional inn to feel good. The landlord and staff are genuinely friendly and not fake friendly like in many other restaurants. In terms of cuisine, you can get all the classics of Bavarian tavern cuisine. There are also roasts on Sundays and other special days. The soups are also particularly good, especially seasonal soups such as pumpkin or asparagus soup.

We were there for dinner on January 20th. At this point the place was just filling up. We got the table opposite the counter. The ambience corresponds to a typical Bavarian restaurant, rustic and cozy. The service was very nice and friendly. The food, I had a liver spaetzle soup and a sirloin of beef, were excellent. The prices are more than fair. The bar and the waitresses have the shop very well under control and are a well-rehearsed team. It was a pleasure to see how professionally the two of them worked. They deserve a medal! We would love to come back on our next vacation. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Bayerisch nüchternes Ambiente, große Auswahl, sehr gute Portionen, sehr gutes Preisleistungs Verhältnis. Super nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Komme gerne hierher, am liebsten für Zwiebelrostbraten! Bissl zugig.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Ich hatte ein Hähnchen Curry bestellt. Leider habe ich die Süß Sauer Variante mit Ananas erhalten, ich wollte jedoch das ganz normale mit Gemüse. Nach Verzehr haben wir nachgefragt welches Curry es war, da wir uns alle nicht sicher waren. Sie haben mir dann einen Cappuccino oder etwas anderes aufs Haus angeboten, das hab ich zwar nicht in Anspruch genommen, aber die Geste fand ich total nett und zuvorkommend! Danke dafür! Das Essen war insgesamt gut. Auf Süß Sauer steh ich allgemein nicht so, daher lass ich das mal außen vor ;) es war jedoch da sehr viel (zu viel) Soße vorhanden. Vom Kaiserschmarrn waren wir alle sehr angetan, die kleine Portion ist definitiv ausreichend! Gute Portionen zum kleinen + fairen Preis. 2 Erwachsene, Getränke, Hauptgang + Dessert: ca 35€ Wir werden nochmal kommen um das „normale“ Curry zu testen ;) Solche Fehler passieren, fand es aber sehr toll wie damit umgegangen wurde :) Ambiente ist eher altbacken, hat mich aber nicht gestört, da wir mit Freunden nur zum schnellen essen vorbei gekommen sind. Das Essen kam sehr schnell. Keine Kartenzahlung möglich, aber dafür mit Paypal - wie cool!

Ich war schon öfters zum Essen im Gsellnhaus und ich war jedesmal sehr zufrieden. Die Qualität und Menge der Speisen sind sehr gut und die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann das Gsellenhaus guten Gewissens empfehlen.

Das Essen hat super geschmeckt. Die Einrichtung im Saal könnte man einmal wieder Neugestalten. Der Service sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren erst gegen 13:30 Uhr und haben den Mittagtisch genommen.Die Preise sehr gut.
