The only reason for a 3 on the service was due to a language barrier. We speak very little German and the owner didn't speak any English but we navigated the menu with a mixture of Italian German and Spanish.
This is one of my favourite places, with friends or alone.
Great menu and dishes: try the tartar, and the icecream with salt and olive oil.
They have a great wine selection and all staff are trained properly on wine matching and suggest you a variety depending on your dish. For that reason, dont go for a bottle, but try different wines, and if you do so, of cpurse your bill comes high... but defenitely worth it.
I have also been there alone, sat at the bar. Unlike most places in Munich that panic when a single woman visits them as customer, these guys were friendly, respectful and caring.
Loved it, will go there more and more and recommend you to go there too.
Great!
From the outside, you wouldn't guess what it looks like inside (see picture).
The very friendly staff were always there, but never intrusive.
They even went back to the kitchen and asked what I wanted to know.
The menu has something for everyone, from burgers, schnitzels, and bowls to vegetarian/vegan options. Everyone will be happy.
This won't be the last time we're there.
I've tried many Indian restaurants, but I can honestly say that Taj Mahal in The Hague is by far the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. We eat lunch there almost every week and are always thrilled. The food is very authentic and full of flavor. The naan bread, or anything that comes out of the tandoori oven, is amazing.
The food is truly excellent, everything is very fresh! Unfortunately, we had to wait 75 minutes for our sushi... which really messed up our plans for the evening. Several items were also sold out (sweet ginger, tofu, a certain sauce), which limited the vegetarian options that evening. Otherwise, a definite recommendation :)
Since the second day I started my job in the Schweinfurt bicycle industry, I've been coming to you regularly. Now with the whole family and the occasional American. Preferably by bike, of course—an ideal leisure destination or after-work ride! Your beer garden and restaurant are simply wonderfully located, close to the forest and bike paths in the beautiful Hausen district, and you can always find a shady spot, even in summer. Since we've had a new addition to the family, I've also been delighted by the child-friendly, warm, and accommodating service. In addition to the variety of drinks (I love "Umtrunk" and "Spezial"), I would especially like to praise your menu. Diverse, varied, and always fresh, hearty, and Franconian. The salads and vegetables tell you that they're not just offered as a "token addition" to the schnitzel and haven't come from a bucket, but have probably been in the garden recently. The presentation is skillful, traditional, and always pleasing to the eye. Overall, I find the pricing very fair considering the quality of the food and the restaurant. Anyone who's been coming to you for as long as I have knows that most of your staff have been with you for a long time, which I always see as a good sign for our region, and something I'm happy to support. Thank you so much for the 20 years of hospitality I've enjoyed with you so far!
Pfiffikus was such a pleasant surprise! I had the vegetable burger with fries, a veggie pizza, and an Appletini—everything was delicious. The burger was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the fries were crispy and flavorful, and the pizza was delightful. The Appletini was the perfect touch to round out the meal. Great food, great drinks, and a cozy atmosphere—definitely worth visiting again!
