My sweetheart had just recovered from a bad cold and wanted some Tom Kha Gia soup to help her get back on her feet. So we strolled over to Martinsried to Truc Xinh. We had soup and a main course, both inexpensive and really very good, although the soup was prepared a little differently than we were used to. The restaurant, with its simple, functional, and clean decor, is run by a very friendly and attentive couple. Since only takeout customers came in that evening, we also had a lovely chat with the owners. We like it there.

The fried noodles with chicken were very tasty, fresh, and well-seasoned. Large portion and great value for money.

The restaurant may not be particularly large, but that's precisely what makes this place so charming. The atmosphere is cozy, and you immediately feel welcome. I ordered a pizza there, which was truly fresh, crispy, and delicious—you can taste the high-quality ingredients used. The service is particularly noteworthy: the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. You always felt like you, as the guest, were the center of attention. Despite the restaurant's rather small size, the overall experience was very positive, and I can recommend it to anyone who values ​​good food and excellent service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We received a very friendly welcome, were immediately shown to our tables, and served right away. Our pizzas were delicious, and the salad also seemed really fresh and crispy. The "beer garden" in the courtyard is quiet, and you hardly notice any traffic or other noises. I would like to highlight the waiter, who was really super friendly and personable. We will definitely be back!

A typical Spanish and cozy atmosphere, very friendly service. We ordered several dishes. Everything was excellently prepared, fresh, and deliciously seasoned. The prices were absolutely fantastic for the quality; we will definitely be back. Truly delicious.

Reservations are recommended. A typical Franconian inn with select dishes that, in my opinion, are perfectly prepared. The goose was crispy and tender.

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't in line. A real shame! First of all: When a restaurant wants to compete in a certain price category, it naturally creates certain expectations for me as a guest. Unfortunately, these expectations were missed at After Church. We had a table for two on a weekend evening. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted shortly afterward and shown to our reserved table. The interior design didn't blow us away; it seemed a bit haphazard and thrown together randomly. We found the lighting too bright for an evening dinner. There were no candles at the table. We would have preferred those to the bright overhead lighting. We opted for the clams for our starter (18 EUR), the octopus with mashed potatoes, and the bacalhau with carrot puree (both 30/31 EUR) for our main course. When we asked which of the Vinho Verde wines best complemented our selection, the waitress was unfortunately unable to provide any information. We had expected that. The bottle of wine arrived already opened, which I consider unusual. A new bottle is always opened when the guest arrives, so they know the wine hasn't been sitting around for a while. Unfortunately, that was a bit unprofessional. Fortunately, the wine was very good and paired well with the meal. The clams were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. There was nothing to complain about here. The main course was different. Both dishes were presented very simply. The puree took up a large portion of the plate. The fish was simply placed to the side, skin-side down (why?). The dishes tasted good, but were nothing special. The fish and octopus were cooked to perfection, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, my fish was riddled with bones. As a guest, I expect (especially at that price!) that the chef will remove most of the bones to the best of his ability for a fish fillet. Conclusion: Too expensive for what you get. I can eat much better in Munich for that money. Additionally, the service should be improved; they should be more attentive, refill their glasses, and know how to serve wine. I expect all of that in this price range. It's a shame, because in my opinion, a truly good Portuguese restaurant definitely fills a niche market in Munich and has a lot of potential.

I always love coming here. The waiter even knew what I was going to order, even though I'm not here every month. Super friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are perfectly reasonable :) Keep up the good work :)

We only had drinks. I find the atmosphere pleasant; it's a lively café where people meet. The owner is friendly and knows most of the customers. Mind you, we were there in the morning. It's a shame we don't have places like this where we live.

A very nice, family-run restaurant. We love Italian cuisine, and the weekly menu is always a pleasant surprise with a superb selection. We recently hosted a family celebration there and were very satisfied. From the planning and advice regarding the menu, to the ambiance/decoration and the service, everything was outstanding.
