Sehr gute und nette Wirtschaft im Herzen Amorbachs. Die Bedienung war megafreundlich und richtig auf Zack, obwohl der Laden voll war.

Nette Gaststätte mit tollem Essen, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ist auf wünsche eingegangen. Manche vegetarischen Gerichte konnten auf Wunsch sogar vegan gemacht werden! Sonst gibt's zwar nur ein veganes Gericht auf der Speisekarte, aber das ist schonmal besser als nichts!

Sehr gutes Ambiente, sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Ich war hochzufrieden.

Sehr schöner Biergarten. Leckeres Speisenangebot. Dieses Mal haben wir nur etwas getrunken, werden aber in Kürze dort bestimmt mal essen gehen.

Leckeres Essen. Sehr nette Bedienung. Wir haben schnitzel gegessen, die hervorragend waren. Gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder in der nähe sind.

Senioren Schnitzel bestellt und ein halbes lauwarmes abgeschnittenes Schnitzel bekommen, die Pommes waren gut. Der Preis für die Portionen viel zu teuer.

Sehr leckeres Kochkäseschnitzel und Salat, insgesamt leckere hausgemachte Speisen und zum Nachmittag auch Vesper, viele Schnitzelgerichte, kurze Wartezeit aufs Essen, da gibt's gar nichts auszusetzen. Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich. Hier kann man gut, problemlos, ungezwungen und lecker Essen, klare Empfehlung.

Sehr gepflegtes Brauhausrestaurant. Die Rinderroulade mit Serviettenknödel und die Leber mit Kartoffelschaum waren sehr gut. Die Portionsgröße war bei dem Preis aber überschaubar.

Das beste Restaurant der Stadt. Wir aßen Sousagge-Salat, Ziegenkäsesalat und Lachs-Cordon-Bleu. Es war sehr gut. Der Service war ebenfalls gut.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Man konnte teilweise zwischen kleinen und großen Portionen auswählen. Essen kam.auch recht zügig. Nette Bedienung. Kurzfristige Reservierung. Empfehlenswert.

War mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis leidet nicht zufrieden. Eine Leberknödelsuppe mit ein paar trockenen Einlagen haute mich nicht vom Hocker. Schade

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, wir waren früher öfters dort und es war immer alles super. Doch heute ist es sehr enttäuschend ! Große Portionen bestellt aber es war sehr wenig auf dem Teller! Da fragt man sich doch wie eine kleine Portion aussieht?Nicht Mal ein wenig Deko auf dem Teller nur eine Scheibe Orange . Preis Leistung gleich null.

Ambiente Wat gut , Bedienung war nett,aber das Essen war leider nichts,ich hatte eine Grillhaxe und jeder in bayer weiß das die Haut rösch sein muss und meine Frau hatte Lachs der sehr übersichtlich war und total Übergart,schade es war unser Hochzeitstag.

Wir waren das erste Mal in dieser Gaststätte und waren sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben unseren Hochzeitstag mit einem guten Essen krönen wollen aber es war ein Reinfall. Mein Mann hatte Haxe bestellt und die hatte keine knusprige Kruste , geschmacklich aber okay. Meine Portion war lächerlich klein und der Lachs war trocken. Bin nicht satt geworden. Sind direkt in die nächste Wirtschaft und da habe ich noch einen leckeren Salat gegessen. So war der Abend nicht geplant aber ich bin jetzt zufrieden. Nicht zu empfehlen

Sehr gutes Kochkäseschnitzel mit Pommes, frischer Salat dazu. Freundliche Bedienung. Alles bestens. Im Sommer ein herrlicher Garten.

Geschmacklich ist das Essen immer sehr gut, aber man wird leider nicht satt. Besonders bei bestimmten Gerichten wie den sauren Nieren ist alles sehr überschaubar. Auch Beilagen sind nicht immer reichlich. 5 halbe Kartoffeln ergeben eben auch nur 2,5 ganze. Salat ist leider keiner inbegriffen im Preis. Wir würden uns daher großzügigere Portionen wünschen. Ansonsten alles top.

The restaurant's interior feels dated, but not in a charmingly rustic way; rather, it's stuck in the chic style of the 80s. The portions weren't very large, yet they were overpriced and, unfortunately, not particularly tasty. The service was friendly and efficient, but very reactive and never proactive or anticipatory. Our visit wasn't a complete disaster, but it's not something we'd necessarily return to.

Far too expensive and the food was incredibly bad. We had schnitzel topped with cooked cheese and fries, as well as pork loin in pepper sauce and croquettes. Both meats were overcooked and tough.

We went to the Etzel restaurant in Amorbach on Tuesday with our two young grandchildren. Never again! The food/meat was poor quality, the portions were manageable, especially the children's plates (mini schnitzel and a few fries), and the wait was extremely long. We waited 1 1/4 hours for the food, and with small children!! We ended up missing our next appointment. To top it all off, we got a €20 parking ticket. We had parked in the parking lot opposite the restaurant, assuming it belonged to the restaurant. We overlooked the fact that we were required to display a parking disc. The landlady didn't think it necessary to give us a quick warning, though, as she could see we were tourists. A feel-good restaurant is something else entirely.

We were there for dinner on Sunday and got a cozy seat in the beer garden. The service was very friendly, and our cordon bleu was a delight...the salad was sweet and sour and tasted great. We'd love to come back.

We had booked a table so no waiting time. Got our food pretty soon after we ordered. Good schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fried potatoes (preferred this to fries). Would have preferred some salad instead of the melon wedge. Nice patio.

Sehr schade um das Geld, hier ist 1 Stern Zuviel. Die Portionen sind zum fremdschämen klein. Ein Stückchen Fleisch so klein wie fürs Kleinkind. Pommes dazu: weich und geschmacklos. Der große Salat für 17,90 Euro mikrig und schwam im Dressing. Fleisch trocken, soße dazu - vergessen. Die Preise sind unverschämt üppig. Nie wieder!

First of all, I have to correct the review by "Stefan W." from my point of view! The "small" portions are sufficiently large... And anyone who thinks they're getting a huge portion for 12 euros should probably go to an XXL restaurant next time. We were there for dinner for the first time yesterday, July 18th, and were truly impressed. The beer garden is truly as cozy as the photos show, with comfortable wooden chairs including cushions and plenty of parasols. Reception and service were perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. This is the perfect place, especially for those looking for a delicious, home-style meal. We had the fried liver and the sour kidneys as our main courses. Both portions were "regular." The large plates were half filled with "meat" and side dishes... and for the price of under 20 euros, it was truly more than enough 👍👍. ...Ah yes...and both dishes tasted delicious too. For starters, we had the salad with feta cheese, a "small" portion...just right for two people. For dessert, we had the baked apple rings...even a portion for two people was more than enough. Including drinks, we only paid €61. What more could you ask for? 👍👍👍. Value for money, portion size, and atmosphere...superb. We'll definitely be back...also to try the game dishes next time 😉. ....a little tip...better to make a reservation in advance in summer if you want to sit in the beer garden 😎.

Dear Etzel Brewery, please remove the small portions from your menu. It was probably my fault, too, as I didn't ask about the portion sizes. I would have expected a senior citizen's plate, but instead I got a children's plate for a 5-year-old (€12.70).

Super delicious, with friendly and attentive service. We had a small private party last week, and as always, it was decorated with attention to detail. + Today we ate delicious chanterelle mushrooms... and when our dog knocked over his water bowl, the response was, "No problem, it just happens." One of the most unfriendly bars I've ever experienced... I was seated at a table before I even got there... I went inside to order... I was told, in a hectic and unfriendly manner, that I wasn't welcome because a small group had occupied the beer garden shortly before us and were now simultaneously yelling for food and drinks! I would have been understanding if they'd only brought us two beers and we'd had to wait longer for the food... but turning us away unfriendly is not hospitality! Den Abschluss unseres Kurzurlaubs verbrachten wir hier. Essen - Schweinshaxe, Wildgulasch und Rinderroulade - alles auf den Punkt. Eine Empfehlung.

The restaurant is absolutely recommended. The food was very tasty, the service was good and the restaurant has a great atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. The breaded zucchini strips with tomato sauce were fantastic and are an absolute recommendation, especially but not exclusively for vegetarians.

Leider hat das essen 1Stunde gedauert und wir hatten das normale Schnitzel in Biersosse, die Soße war wenig, das Schnitzel winzig. Und dafür 15,90€ und nicht mal ein Salat dabei.

If possible, we always go to the Christmas market on the 1st of Advent in Amorbach. Amorbach has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine and you don't have to resort to bratwurst and fish rolls. At the Etzel Brewery restaurant, the tables in the taproom were reserved and we had to go into the next room. But this one was nicely decorated and it was a lot quieter. For me it was a special treat again, there was wild mushroom soup and sour kidneys. The service was very attentive and we will definitely come back. The labeling of the toilets is very original. 👍😄👍

We came to this wonderful little restaurant by chance (and at short notice). We received a very friendly welcome after making our reservation by telephone. The food was very very tasty! The fried liver with braised onions and mashed potatoes is a poem. The roulade with dumplings and the side salads were also great. And the cream schnitzel with mushrooms was also on point. The Amorbacher beer completes the perfect meal. And it's freshly prepared - just like the apple rings at the end... simply down-to-earth, very tasty and all at a fair price! The atmosphere is friendly and the gentlemen at the regulars' table are happy to have a nice chat! Thank you, we'll come back when we're in the region again!

I ordered a small schnitzel with fries. Tastes good, but tiny! I didn't expect such a small schnitzel! The side salad was just leaf lettuce. And all of this for an incredible price of €13.50!!!!

Today we were at the restaurant where the local brass band was playing. The ambience was classic and as expected. We found it a bit of a shame that only the outdoor area was open. The drinks and food ordered were served quickly and had to be paid for directly. The portion was more than manageable and rather carelessly prepared. I had a pork steak with potato wedges. Apart from a very small piece of watermelon and some sauce, there wasn't anything else on the plate. None of our group felt full. The prices were unreasonably high for this portion size.

Spontaneously visited the restaurant yesterday after work. Parking spaces full, restaurant full. The wait (10 minutes) for a table for two was worth it. Great food - brisket, horseradish and potatoes. My colleague - roulades with bread dumplings. Simply great. Of course the service too.

We really enjoyed our visit to this rustic country inn. The guest garden is lovingly decorated, only the bark mulch floor takes some getting used to. I found it nice that many dishes can also be ordered in small portions. There is a very good selection of open wines, which are also served in 0.1 liter sizes at reasonable prices (e.g. Pinot Gris €2.50). I can absolutely recommend the menu item “Our Number One”: sliced ​​turkey breast in a pan with fiery sauce and crispy potatoes. The pork loin medallions with pepper sauce were also very good. Here, however, the small portion was really very small. Next time I would at least order a side salad with it. I particularly liked the appealing design of the menu. The visit would have been perfect if the chairs in the guest garden had been a little more comfortable and there had been salt and a pepper mill on the table. We sat on the seating in front of the restaurant facing the street. The food was delicious and there is nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, after the main course, we were completely ignored or forgotten and there was no service to be seen for over 30 minutes, for example to clear away the used dishes or ask for drinks. We would certainly have ordered one or two drinks. When the waitress came and cleared away, they didn't ask for drinks. Very unfortunate. When we expressed that we wanted to pay, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the bill + another 5 minutes to get the reader for card payment. This really spoiled the positive impression of the good food.

We were there on July 29, 24 for lunch with Chinese customers. We had a good seat in the beer garden (pre-booked for 6 people). The beer garden invites you to linger here. The food was very good and German meals. The beer was also very good. The service was very quick and the food came promptly without having to wait long. It really can only be recommended. I can't judge what it's like in the restaurant. But I think it should be quaint. Small but nice. Keep it up and don't let it get you down, even if it gets difficult. VG Jörg

Wonderful ambience in the beer garden, which is beautifully decorated. The food is not only incredibly tasty but also all homemade. The prices for these are absolutely great because you usually pay twice as much for the quality elsewhere. Had game goulash with red cabbage and spaetzle + breaded schnitzel with cream mushroom sauce, spaetzle and salad. Even the mushrooms in both dishes were fresh and 100% nothing from a can = absolute recommendation!

Nice and shady beer garden with lots of sayings everywhere. Food was okay, but nothing special. It's a bit challenging to get up, the folding chairs easily get caught in the wood chips, but it's a pleasantly soft floor.

We had lunch in the cozy beer garden on June 8th, 2024 with a motorcycle group (19). I don't want to go into details now, just this much: everything was perfect, from the reservation, service (very friendly) and of course the food (very tasty). We'll definitely come back.
