A truly wonderful, charming cellar restaurant.
Everything was perfect from start to finish.
The food was freshly prepared, and the service was incredibly friendly and efficient.
We highly recommend it and had a lovely evening there.
We had our Christmas party there yesterday with a pizza buffet! And it was a complete disaster. It was so badly organized that I ended up paying €20 for one slice of pizza and two glasses of Fanta because the pizza kept running out. Of course, with 60 people, that's understandable, but Il Mio should have baked something better! I kept going back to the waiters and asking when the pizza would arrive, and all I got was "soon, soon, soon." My little son was having a meltdown and crying from hunger! It was just sad! I pointed this out several times, but nothing was done!! Also, 70% of the people didn't eat pork, and they only served two Margherita pizzas for 60 people!!! They said there would be pizza until everyone was full, but there were only five of us, and none of us were full, and €100 was wasted! It would have been much easier if each person had ordered their own pizza, which would have cost significantly less, and everyone would have been satisfied! The organization was terrible, and the waiters couldn't have cared less!
We came on the recommendation of a guest who had been here several times before. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have gone to a Greek restaurant in Upper Bavaria. The food was really delicious, cooked to perfection. The service was attentive and quick.
The ambiance is rather austere for Upper Bavaria/Mediterranean. It's a large room with relatively hard surfaces, so it's rather noisy.
Overall, we were very satisfied.
STAY AWAY!!! I'm Vietnamese and I'm giving you the most genuine advice of my life right now. I repeat...STAY AWAYYYYY!
The lady accepting us was extremely rude when we asked for sitting away from the window to avoid the cold. In fact, she couldn't make a basic convo without an annoyed face. She was blatantly rolling her eyes when we asked for some extra bowls to share the food. And the way she spoke was just like she was going through a horrible life event that everyone in the world must share the pain with.
The names of the dishes are terribly misleading. They called some weird sour noodle soup "Bun Hue" and the obvious Thai curry soup "Mi Quang". And the toppings and broth used for different noodle dishes are basically the same. The food don't taste even 5% close to the real dishes. This is the worst of the worst Vietnamese restaurants I have ever visited in my life anywhere in the world, not only in Germany.
Save your money and energy for a better service and food somewhere that don't ruin your mood and make you feel foolish!
I recently ate here and I strongly advise everyone against visiting this place! The hygiene conditions are appalling. For example, the beer I ordered with my meal was so lukewarm and stale that I suspect it was poured together from glasses that hadn't been finished by other guests. What really put me off was seeing, by chance, that the owner hadn't even washed his hands after using the restroom.
We went there for lunch on Christmas Day with 12 adults and 2 children. Although it was very busy around lunchtime, we were served quickly and courteously, both with drinks and food. My hunter's pork tenderloin was delicious. Excellent service on such a busy day. The price was absolutely fair, and I can highly recommend the restaurant; it wasn't my first time there.
