Best burger in “Siemens-town” ! Jokes aside Burgerheart is my go-to place when in Erlangen. Super friendly staff, an infinite list of different (funny named) burgers prepared with care and chosen ingredients along with excellent beer always guarantee a nice evening ! Ideal for group gathering or just grab a bite after work.

I live nearby and am a regular. Overall, it's a solid restaurant. Unfortunately, I've noticed that the portions (except for the fries) are getting smaller and smaller. I think the long wait times for staff are "okay" considering the shortage. The prices are fair, and the food is still good.

This is a re-evaluation of my original review from April 2024, which was even answered by the owner, but was unlawfully removed by deletion. My wife and I visited the Burger Hearth restaurant in April 2024 and were assigned a seat. While the staff cleaned other tables or chatted among themselves, the guests, especially us, were completely ignored at lunchtime. After 20 minutes of waiting at the table, during which we tried several times to make eye contact with the staff and finally even made ourselves known by calling out in a friendly manner, we still weren't served. Neither a drink order nor a food order was possible due to the complete inactivity of the staff. After about 25 minutes of waiting, we finally decided to leave the restaurant hungry. We were warmly welcomed in another restaurant directly opposite and were able to enjoy excellent pizza there. Based on our previous experience, we cannot recommend Burger Hearth. We have visited the restaurant several times and noticed that the staff changes at noticeably short intervals, sometimes monthly or even weekly. The staff ranges from experienced service staff to temporary staff without any gastronomic experience. Finally, I would like to point out that the owner is acting extremely unprofessionally by systematically deleting reviews below three stars about various providers and by restricting freedom of expression. If this review is deleted again, we will take legal action based on Article 5 of the Basic Law, which protects freedom of expression. Most of the time NO payment works except cash, staff is no help at all and extremely slow. I waited over half an hour for 2x fries...

Good burgers, delicious beer, friendly service, chic location and harmonious music at the right volume for conversation.

Everything was good, just waited a long time for the food.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. We were particularly impressed by the first-class service – especially Janni. Instead of just waiting until the end of the day, he did his work with real joy and commitment. This positive energy was contagious and made our visit even more enjoyable!

First of all, the positive. The ambience is very nice. But that was it. The staff seemed absolutely overwhelmed. It took an awfully long time for the order to be taken. The waiting time for the food we ordered was over an hour. The quality of the food for the price is above average. The service staff are more busy with their cell phones than doing their actual work. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this store.

I was far from full from a burger plus Cole Slow, and neither was everyone else at the table. But according to the price you would actually have it...

I recently went to Burger Heart in Erlangen and can only recommend it! The burgers are fresh, juicy and super tasty – definitely a highlight in the city. I would particularly like to highlight our waiter Michi, who looked after us excellently during our visit. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and made the evening perfect with his great manner. An all-round great experience – we will definitely be back!

Delicious food, I had to wait a little longer for my food but it was worth it. Fully recommended.

We got a seat straight away and were served straight away. The food came after less than 5 minutes and the waiters were extremely friendly and asked us several times whether everything was okay or whether we needed/wanted anything else. The food and drink was more than delicious and I can recommend a visit to everyone :)

Used to be very good, now the same prices as before. But when the burger was brought out, I was shocked at how small it was now. Major shrinkage that has taken place here. Service and ambience are still good

We eat there often and the service is always very friendly. The food tastes great, the only thing that is noticeable at the moment is that the patties have unfortunately become noticeably smaller and the relationship to the bun no longer fits. Probably for cost reasons but then it's better to be a euro more expensive.

Unfortunately quality problems & chaotic. I've had takeout twice. The first time there were the wrong fries, the second time the specially ordered sauce was forgotten - very bad. especially because with take out it only becomes apparent when you get home that something isn't right. It's a shame, otherwise it could be really good.

Many thanks especially to your waitress Michi. We went to dinner with 5 children and were very attentively fed the predator :-) while we were waiting, each child was given a large coloring sheet and pens to take home. In addition, we also had the issue of celiac disease, i.e. gluten intolerance, which was also taken into consideration attentively. Michi made an effort all around and absolutely scored points with his outstanding friendliness and always cheerful manner despite a somewhat “more strenuous” table! The food was, as always, super good, the burgers could always be a little warmer, but for me the chicken white barbecue with egg topping is the best birger I've eaten so far!

We actually like coming here with the children because everyone can find something. Unfortunately, last time we noticed that the burger paddies had been changed. Quite dry and firm. Big minus point from us for that.

I think there are a lot of fake reviews here. The burger is overpriced and the ingredients are almost inferior. The burger bun was so much bigger than what was underneath that the overall appearance was reminiscent of a mushroom.

We have been to Burger Heart Erlangen several times, sometimes as a group of three, sometimes in larger groups. We have also ordered and picked up food several times. It was excellent every time! The food is super delicious. There are great burgers with sophisticated flavors and a real feast for vegetarians and vegans too. Our favorite: "Oh my Goat" with goat's cream cheese and fig mustard, with the loaded fries "Fryan Gretzky". Our absolute favorite burger in Erlangen. The in-house lemonades and iced teas also taste wonderful. The service was great every time. Everyone is very relaxed and friendly. Attentive without being intrusive. We usually travel with a child, and here too, full marks for child-friendliness. The overall atmosphere is also wonderful, very stylish and cozy. We're always happy to come back!

Food was good. Waiting times were impossible (sat for 30 minutes in front of dirty plates), and orders were forgotten. Conclusion: Despite the good atmosphere and good food, I personally wouldn't come again.

We had a fantastic evening with our international team here. The team was very attentive and the food was, as usual, very tasty! We would love to come back.

Visit February 24: The food was very good, but unfortunately we couldn't have a good conversation because the music was so loud. It's particularly loud in the corners where the speakers are hanging and we had a corner table at the back on the left. We were there for a celebration on Saturday evening with around 21 people. Our waitress was very, very nice and turned it down several times for us, but pointed out to us that it would soon be too quiet for someone and then someone would turn it up again. Once a lady from our table came to the front and asked someone to turn down the volume. She was dismissed with the words that today was Saturday and party time. From a purely technical perspective, it's not that difficult to distribute the speakers better or make them individually controllable. If I wanted to go to the disco, I could go to the disco. But we wanted to eat something and talk. The food was good to very good. There is a huge selection of delicious burgers. There are 3 things we won't order again: The sweet potato fries were extremely fatty and sometimes very brown, the coleslaw was too creamy/sweet for me personally and the creme brulee was tastier elsewhere. What's inconvenient is that there is no menu and you have to scroll around on the small cell phone screen. The two of us paid €66.50 for 4 non-alcoholic drinks and a dessert. We were very well fed The service was top. Very kind and attentive. On the one hand, Burgerheart could become a favorite restaurant... But then again, if I can't have a nice conversation while eating, why go there? Better meet somewhere else... Addendum Fall 24: the burger chain hired a lawyer to have our review deleted. She was probably too critical. Apparently we're not the only ones this happened to with the Burgerheart chain. Luckily we were able to prove our visit and consumption with the receipt and Google reactivated our review. We're really surprised that a restaurant needs something like this.

The burgers themselves were okay. but nothing special. The service was the worst I've had in a long time. Salad was forgotten and only came when requested. That's exactly how it went with the drinks. You weren't asked if you wanted something else to drink. The empty glasses were simply overlooked. And no, it wasn't full on Saturday evening.

Wir warten jetzt noch auf unsere Getränke. Wenn wir noch nicht verdunstet sind.

Very modern burger restaurant with neon lettering illuminating the wall. The waitresses are very nice, the noise level is a bit louder. Unfortunately, the prices for a simple burger with a vegan patty without any side dishes are quite expensive at >13€, especially since ketchup and mayo cost extra

Very tasty food and many options for vegetarians/vegans. We gave the occasion as a birthday: shortly before we wanted to leave, the staff came and surprised us with a cheesecake and a sparkler! We were very happy. We'd love to come back :)
