A small Italian restaurant with a singing chef, super friendly and very personable. Whether pizza or pasta, everything is absolutely delicious!

We were very happy with the food. If we're in the area again, we know where to go.

ATTENTION: LOCAL PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!! 01/2023: The menu has been expanded. I'm thrilled. For example, the pasta with salmon and zucchini was very tasty. -------------------- 11/2022: The food (starter, main course, dessert) was very tasty and the temperature was perfect. The food was also beautifully presented. The menu has been visually redesigned and looks much more appealing. Above all, it now stands out significantly from its previous owner. The recommendation card is also great, but the allergens are missing here. A little tip: Instead of baguettes, serve the incredibly delicious pizza wedges (rolls). Dust the restrooms a bit more thoroughly, and hygiene bags in the existing holders would be welcome in the ladies' rooms. Unfortunately, it's almost empty for a Saturday evening. Maybe do a bit of advertising in the neighborhood and the surrounding areas? Many people don't know that Ricks has a new owner and a new kitchen. Maybe it would also be a good idea to delete the "old" reviews here? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 22, 2022: Unfortunately, our food today was only lukewarm; only the pizza rolls were hot. And the vitello tonnato had tuna sauce underneath, and not much of it either – but it tasted delicious. When you're sitting in front of an (almost) empty glass, we think it would be better if you were asked directly if you'd like something else to drink. Also, a few more meat dishes should definitely be added to the menu! We would also like to offer guests dessert. There were special recommendations outside of the regular menu, which we think is great. ATTENTION: The note "Dear guests & friends, due to special circumstances, we are temporarily closed!" should urgently be removed from the website!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 18, 2022: Finally open again. Very friendly service. When the appetizer was being cleared away, we were asked if we could continue. It's a bit of a shame that there's only one meat dish on the menu. Otherwise, a good selection. Delicious food. They even added extra garlic oil and spicy oil. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 13, 2022: On September 23, 2022, they announced they were closed for two weeks. Unfortunately, this is still the case today. Extremely unfriendly staff selling lousy kebabs. The price is reasonable.

Please reopen as soon as possible, it's a real shame about the water damage.

The restaurant has always had an excellent reputation, even before the current chef, who quickly earned the coveted Michelin star, took over the kitchen. The location is actually unusual for a restaurant of this stature. Bahnhofstrasse in Neu-Ulm has the same morbid charm as most streets of this name. However, the beautiful Wilhelminian-era building clearly stands out! We were greeted very warmly and openly at the entrance and escorted to our table. The restaurant is very stylishly furnished; the chairs are very comfortable, and the tables are attractively decorated, but not overly so. The service staff and the chef are very open and treat guests in a friendly manner. The dishes were of outstanding quality and charmingly presented. They offered a veritable explosion of flavors, but were also very harmonious overall. Everything really worked together. We had skipped the wine pairing and instead pre-ordered two of our favorite wines from the Moselle. The sommelier wasn't entirely happy with our choice because he prefers dry wines, which we don't. The service was extremely attentive without being intrusive. There was always time for a quick chat. With six courses and numerous extras, the evening flew by. Our conclusion: A wonderful evening that we will never forget!

Our table wasn't cleaned even though we asked twice. We had to wait about 45 minutes for the food, and it was cold. The "grilled" onions on our plates were also completely black. Not satisfied.

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere in this former tavern. It's my regular haunt.

Very tasty food, best pizza but the opening hours are not so good

Ordered on September 10, 2025 / Delivery time: 60 minutes Tasted quite good! Removed rotten leaves from the salad. The pizzas were lukewarm, soggy, and overpowered by cheese – very greasy – nothing crispy or fluffy!!!! The delivery person was extremely friendly – ​​thank you for that.

This restaurant is very special to me – my absolute favorite place! The service is always cordial and professional, the atmosphere warm and inviting. A special thank you goes to the chef, Mr. Max – he not only ensures first-class quality, but also makes you feel at home here. You immediately notice how much passion and heart he puts into running this place. Every visit is an experience full of enjoyment and well-being. Best ice cream in Schrobenhausen👍🏼 I got free water to help with my burns after Barthelmarkt Monday. 5 stars well deserved.
