Bester Inder in München, unser Lieblingsgericht das Karahi Paneer, wird noch brutzelnd in einer Pfanne serviert. Service wie immer perfekt.

Familiäres Restaurant. Exzellentes indisches Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen, wie sie in München kaum noch zu finden sind. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, der auf die individuellen Wünsche eingeht. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Karahi Paneer.

Mir hat es leider nicht besonders geschmeckt - das Essen war total fade und überhaupt nicht so, wie ich es von der indischen Küche gewohnt bin. Vielleicht ist der etatmäßige Koch ausgefallen ? Service bemüht und Ambiente ganz nett.

Es ist immer wieder eine Freude im Mehmaan zum Mittag- oder Abendessen zu kommen. Freundliche Gastgeber und Personal, und gutes Essen. Meine Favoriten: Dal Makhni, Karahi Paneer und Checken Tikka

Die Bedienung war nicht besonders freundlich. Außerdem wollte ich den Rest meines Essens mitnehmen, da ich nur ein paar Gabeln essen konnte, daraufhin bekam ich eine ganz kleine Plastikbox mit ca. 1/4 des Tellers, der Rest wurde weggeschmissen. Als ich nachfragte, wurde mir gesagt, dass es nicht mehr war. Sehr schade.

Foods Great ist zwar kein großer Fan der indischen Küche, aber ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass sie geschmacklich wirklich einiges zu bieten hat.

Ich bin auf Empfehlung meines Airbnb-Gastgebers hierher gekommen und habe es nicht bereut. Das Personal war überaus gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Man spürt die familiäre Atmosphäre eines Restaurants. Ich bestellte Butter Chicken, ein Fleisch-Thali, Chai und Mango Lassi! Es war wirklich preiswert. Zum Thali gab es einen vollen Teller Basmatireis und Naan. Die Aromen waren unglaublich! Normalerweise esse ich nicht indisch, aber dieses Restaurant hat mir Lust gemacht, diese Küche öfter zu probieren.

Sehr gutes indisches Restaurant mit großzügigen Portionen und moderaten Preisen. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet und das Essen sehr lecker. Was will man mehr.

Auch bei größerer Bestellung (15 Gerichte) war das Essen sehr schnell geliefert und schön heiß. Sehr netter Service.

Ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Keine Wartezeit. Wir haben schon wieder reserviert für das nächste Mal!

Ein super Lokal war sehr zufrieden

Ein kleines Lokal in einer Seitenstrasse. Es ist sauber, man wird freundlich empfangen und die Speisen schmecken hervorragend und frisch. Wenn wir wiedermal in der nähe sind werden wir definitiv wieder dort essen.

Bester Laden Münchens wenn um indische Gerichte geht.

Tried the Veg thali for 2, the naan served was not enough for even one person, the curries were not up to the mark in terms of taste and freshness. Also ordered two masala tea, sent them back and got new ones with the same taste. Totally not worth the price. The price is as good as other restaurants but the taste and freshness isn’t even half the price. I would recommend another restaurant.

Always delicious food and very friendly service. I learned that many of the dishes can be ordered without cream – it makes the eggplant dish even better, for example. The tandoori dishes are also delicious, and my favorite is the chicken with coriander and mint – spicy and tasty. A restaurant with truly excellent value for money.

Unfortunately, it's quite expensive these days, but the taste is okay. Service is okay. Card payments are only partially accepted.

Mehmaan is a very nice, friendly family business that we highly recommend. The dishes are always of consistent quality and are plentiful. Our favorite is "Chili Chicken." We look forward to our next visit! Best wishes to the whole team, see you soon!

I pick things up there often. I always get a small snack or a drink while I wait, and the food tastes great. Plus, they're very fast!

We had a very nice evening at Mehmaan. Thank you again for allowing us to come so spontaneously with a large group of over 15 people! A beautiful long table was set for us outside, and the staff was very friendly. The seating is very nice on the sidewalk off a side street with lots of trees. The food arrived quickly and tasted very good. I recommend the Vegetable Jalfreezi. We'd love to come back!

Amazing Indian restaurant. The dishes and spice blend are really well made and tasty. I found the dishes really fine and very tasty! The only thing is that they tend to make dishes very salty. We had vegetarian dishes, I recommend the stuffed aubergine, and the chickpeas one. Staff is very friendly and responsive.

0 stars!!! Worst experience we've ever had in a restaurant. My friend ordered (vegan) chana masala. It was extremely salty (I like salty food, but this was truly inedible). She returned it and was promised a new meal. After a few minutes, the same meal arrived, merely pureed and stretched with paneer cheese. It was still salty, no longer vegan (she wasn't informed of this), and it wasn't chana masala anymore, but a pureed version of a salt curry with cheese. She ate anyway because she was hungry. After the meal, we got stomachaches (I had a different dish, but tried my friend's as well). We were accused of it being our fault because our stomachs aren't used to Indian food. We eat Indian food often and enjoy it, and we've never had any problems. Mistakes can happen, but the way we were treated as customers shocked us; something so outrageous has never happened to us before; they didn't even offer an apology. Luckily, we're not vegan and we're not lactose intolerant, but adding cheese to a vegan meal is extremely questionable. We'll never come back and would advise others against it, too.

Highly recommended restaurant. Here you will receive a friendly welcome and preferential service. There is also usually an ingredient on the house. We'd love to go there again.

We went here a couple days ago to take away some food. It would be a quick in and out but turned into the chef and his wife introducing themself and giving amazing advice and what to pick for dinner and have a little chat. Such lovely people who truly enjoy what they do. Can’t wait to eat there again because the food is delicious!

Great selection, delicious dishes. The homemade cheese is a highlight! We were here before visiting the Isarphilharmonie and had planned 1.5 hours, which worked out perfectly with dessert and coffee. Very fast and nice service.

Lovely people, lovely food, I’ve never been disappointed! Fantastic local spot with an amazing atmosphere. I have struggled in Munich sometimes because I don’t speak German well but I have never had a problem here.

We had high expectations but had a very mediocre dinner here. I ordered a Hugo and it was extremely sweet and warm, in a wine glass, (and seemingly completely weak), so I opted not to waste the calories on it and ordered prosecco after that. The Pakoras were unlike any I have ever seen: I'm no pro but I've had them dozens of places and these were just complete pieces of things (like a whole onion ring, slices of cheese etc) dipped in a batter and fried: not grated. Is this a Pakora? I was more like tempura with just a batter. The raita was so salty I avoided it. Likewise the Tandoori, we ordered it so it would be lighter than a saucy main, but it had a lot of grease and salt. The bread stuffed with onions: also too salty. I'm not sensitive to salt but this was over the top. The best part of the meal was something we didn't order, the naan that came with the tandoori vegetables. Dishware looked like it was from a cafeteria and the bright white didn't complement the strange food. The staff were nice and the ambiance is fine. Maybe it was an off night.

Es war ausgezeichnet. Mein Mann und ich haben schon seit der Eröffnung immer wieder bestellt und ich war mit Freunden dort essen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Nun habe ich für eine Geburtstagsfeier ein indisches Catering bestellt und war überwältigt. Auf die Minute genau, alles in wunderschönen indischen Behältern. Meine Gäste waren begeistert.

I've been thinking about writing a review for a long time, but I still want to do it. This isn't about a visit to the restaurant, just the food we took to go. I love Indian and always try new restaurants, but I personally wouldn't go here again. The taste of Butter Chicken and Chicken Bryani is mediocre to not that good. But the staff seemed very friendly.

Super tasty food, above-average friendly and attentive service. The menu offers many different dishes, also for vegetarians or vegans. The prices are insane compared to other restaurants - we paid €36 for 2 portions, 2 drinks, bread and liqueur. We'll definitely be back!

Ordered via Lieferando at 9 p.m., restaurant was supposed to close at 10 p.m. and accepted the order. At 9:30 p.m. the cancellation came without comment - not recommended.

In short: - Prices good - Food is excellent, few can compete with this quality, the rice is also beautifully seasoned and everything is prepared with love! - Extra portion of rice at no additional cost and a sip of liqueur on the house when you pick it up! It's almost unheard of today, the best Indian here! Five stars!

They show prices excluding VAT on their menu (Mehrwertsteuer), which is just unethical and misleading. On the lunch menu the price was €9.5, on the invoice it works out to 11.30... "In Germany, it is generally required to include VAT (Value Added Tax) in the prices shown on restaurant menus. This ensures transparency for consumers, who should see the final price they are expected to pay without needing to calculate additional taxes. The German Price Indication Ordinance (Preisangabenverordnung, PAngV) mandates that all prices presented to consumers must include VAT and any other price components. Therefore, displaying prices on a restaurant menu without VAT would typically be considered non-compliant with this regulation."

But the organization was underground. Simply too few staff. We had to wait forever for our food, then the rice ran out and it took forever until we got new. Our drinks had already been empty for half an hour. All in all, I wouldn't come again. A pity

Mein Essen war wie bei zwei vorherigen Besuchen versalzen, aber diesmal so stark, dass ich es nicht essen könnte. Als ich das der Chefin gesagt habe, ging Sie darauf kurz weg, kam zurück und erzählte mir, dass sie gerade mit dem Koch gesprochen habe und sie beide der Meinung sind, dass das Essen nicht versalzen war!!! Das fand ich total unverschämt!! Die darauf angebotene kostenlose pappsüße Nachspeise konnte es nicht wegmachen. Das war mein letzter Besuch.

„Kinderspielplatz mit Fleischgerüchten“ (ja ü nicht i). Viel von der Wirtsfamilie generierter Lärm im Restaurant, viel Soße statt Fleisch, teils nicht richtig warm. Geschmacklich gut.

More carried out by butter than by taste I had a pretty decent palak paneer but a very disappointing chicken vindaloo. no heat. no taste. the restaurant was meant to accept cards but their machine did not work I had to do and get money out of a ATM escorted by a 10 year old as if i was going to run.

Waren zu sechst zum Mittagessen da und alle waren begeistert. Es war echt nichts los, was uns gewundert hat - nach dem Essen war es für uns erst recht nicht mehr verständlich denn bei dem was die anbieten müsste es proppe voll sein und die Preise sind auch voll in Ordnung. Auch super nett waren die Betreiber.

Wir wollten mal in der Nähe zu Abend essen und wurden mit diesem indischen Restaurant fündig. Wir wurden freundlich in Empfang genommen und bekamen schnell einen Tisch zugewiesen. Die Bewirtung war in Ordnung, auch die Zubereitungsqualität von Speisen und Getränken überzeugte uns.
