Friendly staff, everything went fast including the food and it all tasted great. The interior have seen better days tho.

I've ordered here 3 times and the food tastes good every time. Delivery has always been under 30 minutes so far. So if you urgently want to order something quick and very tasty to eat, I only recommend this restaurant. I will definitely order more often.

I arrived 20 minutes before the restaurant closed to bring the food. In other places in Munich, Paris, London, they would not have accepted me or let me eat. Not only did they welcome me kindly, but they insisted that I not worry and enjoy my dish, which was very tasty by the way: sabji with lamb and vegetables. In addition to the food being good, the price is really affordable for Munich. Also in beer. I was treated to a small glass/shot of mango lassi for dessert. Totally recommended after a visit to the Lenbachhaus museum. I'll be back!

At King Masala we were warmly welcomed, served and said goodbye. The service was consistently very attentive and friendly. The dishes (butter chicken and chicken curry) tasted great and were the ideal portion size for us. In addition, the price level was good, especially for Munich. For both dishes, two drinks and Nann bread I paid just under €36 without a tip. We would be happy to come back and give a clear recommendation for King Masala.

Delicious, authentic, and inexpensive.

I've been here 3-4 times now and find that the food is reliably tasty, the service good and efficient. Today I hit the jackpot - ordering a Achari Chicken Tikka from the regular menu, I found myself with a poppadum and delicious (and spicy) chutneys, a hot plate full of delicious roasted chicken and veg, naan and rice and some sauce. A tiny dessert followed. With a lassi, I paid €21, which is outstanding value.

In my opinion, this is the best place in Munich to eat. The food is so tasty, the service is fast, the quantity is big. The waiters were super kind. I will be back soon there.

I had recently visited this restaurant with my friends but i noticed that service was very disrespectful and the food was not as good as expected we have ordered 2 type of food both of this was totally waste of money but yes the mango lassi was too good. I will not recommend this to anyone.

My friend referred us here . I ordered two sabaji kadaipanir and cheese chilli which are without senses with masal and service of the food is disrespectful. When i finished the my dinner little bit and i not like then they say to us give us plats and other stuff which are on the table which is not my responsibility. Over all for us that's irr respect full.

I was shocked that it was rated so high. Different from the usual Indian restaurants.. the sperm is medium.. the biryani is vegetables with some rice.. the naan bread is moist, I did not like it at all.. a high rating is not an indication of the quality of the restaurant

Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes was rather mediocre. The sauces seem like cheap ready-made mixes and so does the soup. A pity.

Having tried numerous Indian restaurants in Germany before, I can confidently say that this one stands out as the best. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming, and we were treated to a beautifully presented welcome dish. After a long day, we were craving something comforting, so we opted for the Dal Makhni, which was cooked to perfection. The mango lassi that accompanied it was absolutely delightful! The whole wheat rotis were a great touch too. And to top it all off, we were treated to a decadent mango cream dessert that left us in awe. The food was truly heavenly, and I cannot recommend this place enough. I wish them all the best for their new branch and hope they open more locations in Germany soon. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, do yourself a favor and dine here. You won't regret it!"

Price/performance ratio is top, especially if you want to sit down somewhere with a colleague for lunch around these parts. The service is very efficient. However food is mediocre. Blandest lamb vindaloo I've ever had. Didn't bother finishing the complementary soup either. The lassi and dessert pudding were alright.

Highly Recommended. The Indian food and the hospitality more than convinced us. I can recommend the “Butter Chicken” or the “Chicken Masala” to everyone. Portions are very large.

Lots of confusion. I am brought a dish that I had not ordered and then when I point out the error, I am told that it will be a gift. I deduce that I will not pay for this dish that I would not have chosen but I also order a salad and a beer. When it came time to pay the bill, I was charged the full amount!! What a scam. I will never set foot there again.

I had Chicken Masala Curry with rice. It was very good and sufficient quantity for one. The restaurant is spacious and has good music. Papad and desert was complimentary for dine in.

Update: After more than two years, I dared to do it again and had lunch. Unfortunately the food is still not good. The taste and quality are just bad. People criticize it and no one responds to it. I can't explain the good reviews...! But make your own experiences. Can't confirm the good reviews. The tastiest thing was the Nan bread. The chicken wasn't good, and unfortunately neither was the sauce. I can't recommend... Pity !

A really great restaurant. The service was excellent, personable, helpful and very quick. We ordered one. Thali vegetarian for 2 and were more than full, a great opportunity to test different dishes. And be sure to try a mango lassi...in general, the drink prices were totally okay. It was very pleasant in the back area, but I have to say I wouldn't want to sit in the front.

Two of our four dishes were far too sweet (mango curry and a vegetarian dish with cashew), we tried them and couldn't eat them. The nan was unsalted. All in all, unfortunately not a good experience, a shame.

We got friendly service, and the restaurant for sure has a nice atmosphere. But the food was really not as good as expected in a restaurant, especially one that's so highly rated on Google maps. The main dishes were okay, but everything else (soup, breads) was tasteless and not worth a restaurant price. The batura was not on the menu at the bread section, we had to ask to find out. It was oily, heavy, and missing salt. The lentil soup tasted like a knorr instant soup with 5 lentils in it. The naan and papadam were unsalted, which is not too bad if you are dipping it into a sauce, but on its own it was just bland. The aubergine curry tasted like a dahl, I would have expected the lentil soup to be like that, but it was okay. The paneer curry was okay again. The rice was well made. The mango puree they gave us as dessert was actually very tasty, and also the green dip (that they said was very spicy, but I would say medium spicy). I would not go again, sadly, as too many of the dishes we ordered were not so good, and the good ones were only okay.

You can always pick up a tasty Chupa Chups from King Mashallah. Only the ones with cherry aren't quite as crunchy, but that makes up for the atmosphere

I really like this place. Delicious dishes, very attentive staff. We didn't know what to order, and they helped us make a choice by consulting on the dishes. It turned out that my dish turned out to be spicy for me, and the waiter, noticing this, suggested to replace it, making it less spicy. At the end of the dinner we received a free dessert for three persons as a gift Thanks a lot! When I will be in Munich again, I plan to return to this restaurant again

I won't set foot there again. I have visited many Indian restaurants in Munich, mostly alone, and I have to say that I did not receive any professional treatment from them at all. The waiters lacked professionalism and my presence almost seemed to bother them

The location of the restaurant is great. The atmosphere on the other hand is so-so. In the back part of the restaurant it feels cosy, light and well maintained, but the front part in which we were seated the tables were unclean. There were towels lying around in baskets somewhat like in a laundry room. Our table was messy, dirty and there was an empty glass just lying there. The service was mediocre - they forgot some stuff, messed up a couple of drinks but were overall kind and welcoming, so it wasn’t a big problem. When we ordered multiples of bread or papad, they simply put all portions in one plate, which was inconvenient for a big table of 10 people. The food was good and not expensive.

Great experience having lunch here. They give a huge portion in the lunch menu for a reduced price on weekdays. And they also offer soup free of cost. The price was more than reasonable for the quantity and the quality of the food.

One of our favorite meals in Munich and some of the best Indian food we've had! The staff we so friendly and the food was out of this world. The value for what you get is unbeatable.

If you live here or visiting you must try this place the food and service is excellent. Very good value for money. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff to sort. Drinks are always replaced quickly.

The food is so tasty! There are a lot of seats so even without a reservation you can try your luck. The food is piping hot (I almost managed to burn myself with the plate) and the spiciness is satisfyingly tasty. The lassis are also great and very sweet. We ordered way too much and then asked for some boxes to bring the food away, which they kindly provided The atmosphere is very cozy and perfect for a date 🌹

Das Lokal erscheint von außen kleiner als es in Wirklichkeit ist. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und bekamen einen Tisch im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants. Das Angebot an Gerichten ist sehr gut - Vegetarier sowie Fleischesser haben eine tolle Auswahl. Das Lammgericht war besondern lecker! Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zur Rechnung bekamen wir ein Mangocreme-Dessert, dass auch superlecker war. Die Preise sind entsprechend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Принесут всех блюд по чуть-чуть и большую миску риса . Лепёшки очень вкусные и свежие . Также пили манговый шнапс , не плохо . Обязательно попробуйте десерты . Они очень вкусные .

This Indian restaurant in Munich stands out as one of the best I've ever visited. The paneer pakora was superb. The chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy and bursting with flavor paired with flawlessly cooked naan and delightful raita. We also tried one of the lamb dishes which was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful sauce served alongside. Generous portions, nice atmosphere, swift and polite service and surprisingly reasonable prices. Overall, an absolute gem for top-tier Indian cuisine in Munich.

Wow! Amazing food quality. From walking in, the service was excellent. Very clean restaurant with prompt service.much larger space in the back, but it is still only just over a dozen tables. I did not have a reservation, but I got seated promptly. With that said, if you can, I would certainly recommend reservations, but don't let that stop you from coming here. Upon sitting, an appetizer is brought out by the house. I ordered the Butter Chicken, some Garlic Naan, and a Mango Lassi. The butter chicken was perfect. Flavors were fully there and cooked excellently. It comes with rice, which too was cooked perfectly al dente. Garlic Naan was very flavorful, and I am fine with it as is, but if I could change it just a little, I would suggest less oil. Mango Lassi was not watered down and as good as if I were in India. At the end, a sweet mango dessert, just the right amount to adjust your palette, came at the end, again, in the house. Absolutely coming back here!
