😍 The Achari Chicken Tikka and the Naan was super delicious. I would come back here for the Achari Chicken Tikka for sure.

Unfortunately, the food here is below average. One can see that they've used food colouring, and the taste is far from good. These parameters could be extrapolated to assess quality of ingredients. I hope the restaurant improves its standards as such entitites represent their heritage and exist not just for business.

The food was alright. I asked if the food is halal, was not satisfied with their yes. They should have written it somewhere that the meat they bring is halal. Secondly, the waiters keep coming up even while you’re eating?? Which is pretty disturbing! I had not even finished my soup yet fully, that a waiter just took it assuming I’m done. I am someone who eats their meals slowly. And after a while a waiter comes if I was done? To which I got annoyed and had the order packed. And I feel like they didn’t even pack my order fully. It’s less than what I left there! Would not go again.

Food was ok. The price was also reasonable. Service was fine up until I asked for a glass of “tap” water which I never received.

Not really that great when it comes to anything but performance/price ratio is probably the best around this part of the town. Basically the perfect place for students.

Very good Indian food that is even more authentic and not just adapted to European tastes. The place is much larger than it appears from the outside as it extends even further back. The prices are unbeatable. We have already planned the next visit.

The best Indian I’ve had in Germany! The interior is large there are several seating areas. It’s pretty modern on the inside and very clean. Service was attentive and they checked in on me every five minutes or so. I had the garlic naan, which was as good as any Ive had in NY or London. I also had the chicken vindaloo. Indian food in Germany tends to not be spicy, so be sure to ask them to make it spicy and they will comply. The rice was really good too.

This is easily one of my favourite places for good Indian food. The restaurant is very spacious, the staff is very friendly and it has a good selection of local dishes. The evening was very pleasant. After the meal they would even handed out a small mango desert on the house. We would always come back.

With a friend I took refuge here from the November cold for dinner, a fantastic choice. Very pleasant food, service and atmosphere. We really appreciated the kindness and generosity of the staff. As a vegan I easily found great options. We will definitely be back :)

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. It was cheap, but the service was poor. What was ordered was forgotten to be served, dishes very simple, tablecloths made of plastic, food mediocre. Overall a disappointing experience.

Kadhai Paneer was good but didn’t like all the dishes from the Chicken thali. House tea was quite nice and chicken shorba soup was not a shorba at all. Personal opinion, parsley on Indian food - not good. Overall service was good, and people were friendly. The food portions were better than many other Indian restaurants. They give complimentary mango cream at the end which was quite nice.

My partner and I occasionally get something to go for lunch. The lunch menu is inexpensive and offers a wide selection. In my opinion one of the best Indian restaurants in Munich, always very fresh and well seasoned, especially the naan is very tasty. Highly recommended, but I can only speak for the to go experience.

Absolutely wonderful and incredibly fast service is the main highlight of this establishment. I did not expect it to be so fast by any means. The quality of the food was phenomenal as well, the portions were generous and the staff always around to ensure that you have a great experience.

Whenever I'm in Munich, this is the go to restaurant for me. As I always stay near this hotel as well, so it's easy. Start with Daal Soup, and Papadam which has a variety of chutneys. Try Garlic Naan, and Chicken tikka masala. The portion of Rice which they give is enough with 1 garlic Naan. And oh yes, complementary desert at the end.

Ordered what I thought was a vegan curry since it did not have “g” on it for “milch/milk”, yet when it arrived there was a stick of butter melting in it. When I asked about it I was told it was my fault, and that I should have asked. That is, quite frankly, absurd. They remade it without the butter and it was nice, nothing special but good enough.

They have one of the best service I had seen in Indian restaurants in Europe and the food also tasted great and their complimentary soup was the highlight of all and would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for good Indian food

Food arrived quickly despite being crowded. All dishes tasted good. Veg curries were better than non veg curries. Excellent service. The staff checked on us repeatedly and ensured that all our requests were met.

Recommended, we have ordered onion pakoda, dal tadka & Paneer tikka. It was very good in taste. They have also provided complimentary started as Papad and at the end mango cream. Must visit this place. Not much expensive.

I've ordered here 3 times and the food tastes good every time. Delivery has always been under 30 minutes so far. So if you urgently want to order something quick and very tasty to eat, I only recommend this restaurant. I will definitely order more often.

I arrived 20 minutes before the restaurant closed to bring the food. In other places in Munich, Paris, London, they would not have accepted me or let me eat. Not only did they welcome me kindly, but they insisted that I not worry and enjoy my dish, which was very tasty by the way: sabji with lamb and vegetables. In addition to the food being good, the price is really affordable for Munich. Also in beer. I was treated to a small glass/shot of mango lassi for dessert. Totally recommended after a visit to the Lenbachhaus museum. I'll be back!

At King Masala we were warmly welcomed, served and said goodbye. The service was consistently very attentive and friendly. The dishes (butter chicken and chicken curry) tasted great and were the ideal portion size for us. In addition, the price level was good, especially for Munich. For both dishes, two drinks and Nann bread I paid just under €36 without a tip. We would be happy to come back and give a clear recommendation for King Masala.

Delicious, authentic, and inexpensive.

I've been here 3-4 times now and find that the food is reliably tasty, the service good and efficient. Today I hit the jackpot - ordering a Achari Chicken Tikka from the regular menu, I found myself with a poppadum and delicious (and spicy) chutneys, a hot plate full of delicious roasted chicken and veg, naan and rice and some sauce. A tiny dessert followed. With a lassi, I paid €21, which is outstanding value.

I had recently visited this restaurant with my friends but i noticed that service was very disrespectful and the food was not as good as expected we have ordered 2 type of food both of this was totally waste of money but yes the mango lassi was too good. My friend referred us here . I ordered two sabaji kadaipanir and cheese chilli which are without senses with masal and service of the food is disrespectful. When i finished the my dinner little bit and i not like then they say to us give us plats and other stuff which are on the table which is not my responsibility. Over all for us that's irr respect full.

I was shocked that it was rated so high. Different from the usual Indian restaurants.. the sperm is medium.. the biryani is vegetables with some rice.. the naan bread is moist, I did not like it at all.. a high rating is not an indication of the quality of the restaurant

After a long day, we were craving something comforting, so we opted for the Dal Makhni, which was cooked to perfection. The mango lassi that accompanied it was absolutely delightful! The whole wheat rotis were a great touch too. And to top it all off, we were treated to a decadent mango cream dessert that left us in awe. The food was truly heavenly, and I cannot recommend this place enough. I wish them all the best for their new branch and hope they open more locations in Germany soon. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, do yourself a favor and dine here. You won't regret it!"

Price/performance ratio is top, especially if you want to sit down somewhere with a colleague for lunch around these parts. The service is very efficient. However food is mediocre. Blandest lamb vindaloo I've ever had. Didn't bother finishing the complementary soup either. The lassi and dessert pudding were alright.

Highly Recommended. The Indian food and the hospitality more than convinced us. I can recommend the “Butter Chicken” or the “Chicken Masala” to everyone. Portions are very large.

Lots of confusion. I am brought a dish that I had not ordered and then when I point out the error, I am told that it will be a gift. I deduce that I will not pay for this dish that I would not have chosen but I also order a salad and a beer. When it came time to pay the bill, I was charged the full amount!! What a scam. I will never set foot there again.

I have really, really enjoyed coming to King Masala for years. My guests and I always rave about the food and the exceptionally friendly service! The price/performance is unbeatable! I think King Masala is the best Indian restaurant in Munich!

I had Chicken Masala Curry with rice. It was very good and sufficient quantity for one. The restaurant is spacious and has good music. Papad and desert was complimentary for dine in.

Very good lunch. I go there regularly for lunch and am always fascinated by the service, which maintains an overview despite a full restaurant. The waiting times are short. The ideal lunch break restaurant.

Update: After more than two years, I dared to do it again and had lunch. Unfortunately the food is still not good. The taste and quality are just bad. People criticize it and no one responds to it. I can't explain the good reviews...! But make your own experiences. Can't confirm the good reviews. The tastiest thing was the Nan bread. The chicken wasn't good, and unfortunately neither was the sauce. I can't recommend... Pity !

A really great restaurant. The service was excellent, personable, helpful and very quick. We ordered one. Thali vegetarian for 2 and were more than full, a great opportunity to test different dishes. And be sure to try a mango lassi...in general, the drink prices were totally okay. It was very pleasant in the back area, but I have to say I wouldn't want to sit in the front.

Two of our four dishes were far too sweet (mango curry and a vegetarian dish with cashew), we tried them and couldn't eat them. The nan was unsalted. All in all, unfortunately not a good experience, a shame.

We got friendly service, and the restaurant for sure has a nice atmosphere. But the food was really not as good as expected in a restaurant, especially one that's so highly rated on Google maps. The main dishes were okay, but everything else (soup, breads) was tasteless and not worth a restaurant price. The batura was not on the menu at the bread section, we had to ask to find out. It was oily, heavy, and missing salt. The lentil soup tasted like a knorr instant soup with 5 lentils in it. The naan and papadam were unsalted, which is not too bad if you are dipping it into a sauce, but on its own it was just bland. The aubergine curry tasted like a dahl, I would have expected the lentil soup to be like that, but it was okay. The paneer curry was okay again. The rice was well made. The mango puree they gave us as dessert was actually very tasty, and also the green dip (that they said was very spicy, but I would say medium spicy). I would not go again, sadly, as too many of the dishes we ordered were not so good, and the good ones were only okay.

You can always pick up a tasty Chupa Chups from King Mashallah. Only the ones with cherry aren't quite as crunchy, but that makes up for the atmosphere
