This time we celebrated our birthday at Amber. The table was beautifully decorated, the service was as always courteous and, above all, the food was absolutely great! We have always enjoyed coming here or getting something to eat for years and have never been disappointed. We can wholeheartedly recommend Amber, thanks also to the great staff who reflect the soul of the restaurant.

We ate there for the first time yesterday at 7 p.m., it was well attended but not too loud. I think that's good. We sat, not in the winter garden extension, because I don't know if it was as pleasantly quiet as where we were The noise was loud, but it looked beautiful there, like the rest of the restaurant. And we tried many Indian places but none were like this one in terms of food. Super friendly people, great food. Well seasoned, not too spicy and not too bland, that's exactly right for my taste. I don't eat anything spicy. And there is also a perfect allergy card. That's why I went vegan for the first time. And it tasted good - no, the spices made it excellent. And the portions were also very good and very sufficient, we even took some with us. So if you want to spend a great evening and go on a culinary cultural journey you should do it in this restaurant. Yesterday evening we had one of our most beautiful evenings for the two of us.

Among the starters, samosa and chicken pakora were very nice. Buttered nan was also very nice and warm. The lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala were very good, but they were heavy for me because there was too much coriander in them. As a Turk, we ordered sour lassi because I thought it would be similar to ayean, but it was too spicy. The mango creme they served at the end of the meal was very delicious, it goes very well with the spicy dishes you have eaten. Also, the service is very fast and the waiters are friendly.

My recommendations: Chicken Achari Taka Tak, Chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan. Mango Chicken is delicious, also for those that are not fans of spicy food. Mango lassi is a must !! I can only have good words for this restaurant, since we discovered it around 2 years ago it has been a great choice for friends, family and also intimate dinners. The food is always tasty and abundant, the whole team is very friendly, they make you feel at home. It is well decorated, and the design makes it very quiet and comfortable. 5/5 Very good choice

It is a traditionally beautifully decorated restaurant. There is also plenty of parking space. The waitresses are very friendly, attentive and will advise you if you want some “help”. The food tasted really good. As usual, plenty of rice was served for the whole family. If you can't manage everything (nan, rice or even the main course) they'll happily pack it up for you to take away. Definitely worth a visit. One of the best Indian restaurants in Munich. Can only be recommended.

We discovered this place while checking out Indian restaurants in Munich and it has become our go-to-place if we feel like Indian food. They have a wide variety of dishes, none of which we have ever been disappointed by. The quality of the food is outstanding, while the service is very attentive and friendly. We can especially recommend the tandoori dishes and their hidden gem that is the ginger nan. The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere welcoming and cozy. In short, we can only highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy some delicious Indian food in a pleasant environment.

Nice authentic Indian restaurant with a delicious large menu

I eat lunch here fairly regularly, about every two weeks. Quite authentic tandoori food. Hot, but not Indian hot (yet). Lunch menu changes daily (Mon-Fri). Good service, pleasant rooms. If the weather is good in the summer months, you can also go outside. My highlights: Bhindi Masala and Chicken Vindaloo. Nan is also delicious and always fresh (I prefer it without butter - then it's even crispier).
