The restaurant is modern and comfortably furnished. In my opinion the food is excellent. Wishes/hints e.g. B. Level of spiciness were always taken into account. The selection of drinks is large. I also order there regularly. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

Very good food, you can smell the Indian spices right at the entrance, that was also the reason why we went in, although we were a bit confused because the menu box outside said Hofbräuhaus. But we didn't regret it, it was an extraordinary taste experience!

This Indian restaurant was a total delight! The Tandoori mixed grill was absolutely mouthwatering. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was great too, with a cozy and inviting vibe. I’m definitely going back soon!

Finally writing this review after many, many visits. Monsoon is our favourite Indian restaurant in Munich (and elsewhere). Everything is super delicious and the staff is super friendly. Many vegetarian options. I always take the Chana Masala and it never disappoints.

The sauces from the papadum were ready to go. Sauces, tandoori and duck came just 5 minutes after ordering. Both dishes that take significantly longer to cook fresh. So it was probably just warmed up food. Quite ok but it looks like everything wasn't freshly cooked. Service but attentive.

I waited almost 2 hours for my food (delivery) - unfortunately it arrived completely watered down and not particularly tasty.

We discovered this Indian via Lieferando and are thrilled. We have ordered there several times since then and have always been completely satisfied. Really perfectly seasoned food. We even ate in the restaurant because of the delicious delivery food and this visit was also great. Service and ambience are really great. All in all a recommendation. So far we have not found a better Indian in Munich.

Food is delicious but not necessarily cheap either. The operation and service were catastrophic. My food was taken from the table without me being asked if I wanted to eat more, even though I wanted to eat more. In addition, the female waiter responded very unfriendly to customer requests. Not recommended.

Food (Vegetarian) is really worst in Taste. If you’re going for Indian food, it’s gonna worst decision. It would be better to have at home. Staff behaviour is also disappointing, especially I observed with Indian customers. Till the time you’re in the restaurant, they expect that you should proportionately order something. Considering the price, food is not a penny worth.

The order was 2 shrimp biryani, 1 butter chicken, 1 cola, 1 tea Biryani I usually eat shrimp, so I can't rate it, but the biryani is 10/10, not dry. Butter chicken 10/10 - Delicious The account is 68.30 euros If they bring the amputee with white bread that I didn't eat, ask them if you can replace it with naan bread or not. The experience is delicious and will be repeated

The service was fast and that's a real plus. The food quality was underwhelming given the price. A portion of paneer tikka for €10 had 4 paneers in all. They also seemed to be very stingy with giving rice. I wouldn't have a problem with the above normally but would also not give it 4+ stars. The taste was just fine with a little too much turmeric which somehow is sold as the trademark of Indian cuisine in Germany. All in all, the prices could be lower or the food quality better or both

+ Location, restaurant, service +++ excellently seasoned food The "Monsoon" is easy to reach by public transport and is located in a quieter side street. The simple furnishings with the great mural and the reserved, friendly service create a relaxed and pleasant ambience. The food itself is absolutely outstanding! My lamb korma was tender and buttery, perhaps a little tomato-heavy, but mild and yet sufficiently and well-balanced seasoning. My friend's lentil dal, on the other hand, was slightly spicy and pleasantly creamy, but above all expressive and particularly well seasoned. The naan bread was soft and juicy, the rice was al dente and aromatic, everything was really convincing in its own way. Since we were there at lunchtime, we even had a tomato soup as a starter and an intense mango cream as a dessert, and the drinks were also delicious. Simply excellent, especially with the reduced lunch prices! We would love to come back.

staff behaviour was very rude . and the quality of food is also very less . we were three ppl and we ordered gobi Manchurian and two other curry and 3 naan (plus rice complementary in Germany) . we hardly got two two pieces of gobhi from gobhi Manchurian , unfortunately we forgot to take photo of that otherwise i could have posted here . and taste wise also its not good ,I would not recommend it . but kadhai paneer was okay in taste . other two was full of souce taste . i don't know weather bill was reasonable or not but its around 50 € for 3 without any drink😂 one of my friend just gave feedback on face that your quantity is very less ,may you can increase a bit in very polite way . and service lady was like : Is it ?? our quality is less ?? (in surprised way) and saying then you go to some other place which was very rude..

We stayed in Munich for 3 days. All the days we did our dinner there. The foods are really tasty and good. Portions are enough and prices are very reasonable. They also served food in a very short time. I highly recommend it if you would like to taste some authentic indian foods. Give it a try.

Expectations were high with all those 5 star reviews, but we were less enthusiastic. It was tasty food but the preparation could have been better: the tandoori chicken was tasty but dry. Tasty but not 5 star spectacular. It is very popular: many visitors. You were helped quickly and the food came quickly.

I had dinner at Monsoon Restaurant today, and it was an amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious, with generous portions that left us fully satisfied. The prices were fair and offered great value for the quality of the meal. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing dinner. A special thanks to Kajal, who was so friendly and always had a smile. She made our evening even more enjoyable with her excellent service. Unfortunately I cannot report on the service and ambience in the restaurant. I order directly from the homepage for home delivery. Here the restaurant scores with an impressively large delivery radius. And the dishes are really delicious! My absolute favorite meal here is the Chicken Tikka Masala.

2024 update: Still great food, great vibe and wonderful people. Nothing has changed in one year, and that is the way it should be. See you next summer. 11 month later update: Last night, we returned about a year later (June 2023), and the food and service are still excellent. It is nice to know that they are consistent and have maintained an excellent dining experience. The staff even remembered us from the following summer. They are very kind. This might become a yearly tradition for our family. Summer 2022: Our family loves this restaurant. We have been living in Europe for the last two months. Spending some time in München visiting friends and sites. We have traveled to München many times as a couple and as a family over the years. This restaurant was around the counter from where we were staying. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were meet with smilies. My wife speaks German, but the staff speaks English comfortably. The food and service are stellar. Our 7 year old son loved it so much that on the third night in town, we asked him where he wanted to eat… he said “Monsoon please. “. Good prices, fantastic service, and an incredible taste. Highly recommend!!!

Very good food, extremely friendly service, very accommodating. The prices are very fair, something that is rarely found in the center of Munich. Also lots of delicious vegetarian dishes. You can also sit outside in front of the restaurant, it's a quiet side street. We like coming here.

Super-friendly team, very pleasant interior (modern and bright, not overloaded, but you can still find some classic decorative objects), varied food: in addition to numerous standards, there are also a few recommendations from the house. A handful of pasta dishes with an Indian twist are also offered. The food comes quickly at the table and the quality is absolutely convincing. The relationship between price and performance is right. Tip: Be sure to take a look at the special menu. The Manchurian dishes are only slightly spicy by Indian standards (Europeans may perceive it differently 🌶) and incredibly tasty! The very spicy, slightly peaty Indian Shiraz from the wine list goes well with this.

We ordered chana chat, kadhai paneer, garlic naan and mango lassi. The mango lassi was great with perfect amount of sweetness. Chana chat was sweet and not anything like chat. It was more like a salad. Naan and kadhai paneer also were okay. We asked for a bit spicy version and it was perfect spicy.

Nan tastes rejoicingly cold and dry. You have to eat your food on appetizer plates and drinks are not served either. The food is too salty and there is no service either. This restaurant is not recommended under any circumstances!!!
