It is a restaurant with several rooms which makes the service a little slow, but the quality of the food is very good, authentic Bavarian food.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio was a flop, the liver dumpling soup had more bread rolls than liver, carp fillet you had to order the side salad separately, cake, well 🫤 unfortunately the guests are not treated EQUALLY when it comes to celebrating and bringing cakes with them. The service was ok but the older lady was quite stressful.

Everything was great, gladly again.

Good food and nice friendly service

The cheese spaetzle wasn't good. There are many variations but in cream sauce and I don't like it slightly sweet. The huge mountain of fried onions was great. Everyone else at our table was very happy. Price performance definitely fits. Service is friendly.

As always, the food was very good...but the service was a bit unmotivated

Tradition and for lots of guests!

Four of us had dinner last night and managed to get a table without a reservation. If you want to be on the safe side, you should make a reservation because the restaurant is very busy, which is no wonder given the delicious dishes. 😋 Although the restaurant was almost full, we got our food without a long wait. All four of us were thrilled with our main courses (game dishes, cheese spaetzle and schnitzel) and desserts (cream puffs and crepes). A pleasant atmosphere, as well as friendly and quick service rounded off the evening perfectly 🙂

It is a restaurant with good home cooking. The atmosphere in the old courtyard is very cozy, with fairy lights in the evenings. Lavish portions are served here and the taste is superbly balanced. In our case it was almost unsalted fried potatoes with just as little seasoning and perfectly fried steak. Plus some spicier peppers and salty herb butter. It was delicious! Price-performance is top and service is at a good level.

Excellent food and friendly service in a historic atmosphere. What more could you want?

The service was totally chaotic, called us first name (that's not possible), put drinks and a tray on the table and simply went to the other guests while serving. After 5 minutes we took the drinks ourselves from the tray. Dishes too expensive and without a side salad E.g. chanterelle soup €8.50. The portions are not very large with the loins for €19 there were only 3 small loins on the plate. The portion of fries was ok but without a side salad it costs €4.50 and side vegetables €5.50 I was still hungry afterwards. The height of disappointment was that €1 was charged for a CHANGE IN THE SUPPLEMENT without us being informed of it beforehand - we asked the waitress (older lady) beforehand whether a change in the supplement was possible, she just said yes of course but no word or reference to the additional costs. This subsequently made us even more upset. It's a shame because there are better restaurants with reasonable portions and nicer beer gardens in Amberg and the surrounding area where the price-performance ratio is right. And the service is better!

Great home cooking and decent portions and absolutely delicious and recommended. Also a bit of tips for exploring. Rarely have I eaten such great spaetzle and the schnitzel filled with obadzda was a dream. We'll definitely come back when we're in Amberg again or maybe just because of that...

We were there for dinner with 12 people, everyone had a different dish. All the dishes looked very inviting and were very tasty. The food came to our table almost at the same time and the waitresses were all very friendly. The beer garden is cozy. Price performance is simply great! We'll be back.

Schäufele with 2 dumplings is delicious

We were 12 people with different plates. Everyone was absolutely thrilled. It came quickly and no one had to wait too long. Nice presentation and good portions too. Price performance top!! The only drawback is that the grill plate would need one more meat, but perhaps fewer fries. We'll definitely be back!! Thank you!!

We only stopped for a drink: welcoming environment and excellent beers

We were in the beer garden and had a delicious meal. Good Bavarian cuisine, very tasty!!! The service is very nice, quick and courteous. The food came quickly. Afterwards we had a nice time in the very cozy beer garden. Very cozy. Overall, a very classy inn. The dining room has Bavarian charm, the winter garden is bright and friendly and can be opened onto the beer garden. I'm thrilled. Happy to come again.

Nice shady beer garden and nice staff

Although I live 350 km away from Bruckmüller, I will come here again. The people are so nice, it was one of the most beautiful evenings during my 3 day stay in Amberg. The food (Schäufele with dumplings) was excellent and the house beer was a delight - which is why I took two six-packs with me to the Taunus. If you are in Amberg, reserve a table and see/taste for yourself.

Dear restaurant team, I would like to express my disappointment with my recent visit to your restaurant. I was really looking forward to a cozy dinner, but was completely disappointed. At the beginning I ordered spaetzle with sauce. From the first bite it was clear that these were not freshly prepared but were clearly convenience food. The spaetzle had neither the typical consistency nor the taste of handmade pasta. The sauce was also far from homemade and was very reminiscent of a ready-made sauce from the supermarket. The Cordon Bleu that I tried afterwards was also completely disappointing. The breading was soft and not crispy, the meat was tasteless and dry. Everything indicated that this dish was not fresh, but pre-made and simply warmed up. Unfortunately, the negative experiences didn't end with the food. The waitresses in your restaurant were all extremely rude. Requests were ignored or forgotten, even though the restaurant was by no means overcrowded. In addition, the waitresses consistently seemed annoyed and not very motivated to take care of the guests. Overall, my visit to your restaurant was extremely disappointing. The quality of the food and the service left a lot to be desired. I really hope that you take this criticism seriously and take steps to improve the quality of your offering.

Beautiful winter garden, which opens onto the beer garden in the inner courtyard. The food was excellent (classic Bavarian cuisine, some slightly Mediterranean dishes). Service was very friendly and accommodating, although you sometimes had to wait 10-15 minutes for a drink.

We celebrated our graduation and went to the Bruckmüller restaurant as a large group (15 people). So we cheated on a few guests, but that wasn't a problem for the team. We were welcomed very friendly and served quickly. Drinks were “quick” and the conditions were super nice too! The food was wonderful, no one could complain. The portions were also large. Personally, I ate a rump steak (medium rare) that was buttery soft and perfectly pink. The conditions were often good, so there was always a supply of drinks or food. We ate inside. You have to like the atmosphere, we are definitely fans of it and felt totally comfortable. So in short: Great people who run a great restaurant. Definitely to be recommended! Thank you for the hospitality and the nice farewell at the end. ;) LG, the bunch of high school graduates.

A cozy restaurant, unfortunately my roast pork wasn't good. Only small pieces left on the plate, side salad wilted and warm.

Roast pork and cheese spaetzle were very tasty! And quickly on the table! The service was very attentive and very nice - the guest is greeted and farewelled with the lovely "Hello"! It's just great to hear "Moin", "Hello" and "Tschüss" again in the High German world. We'll definitely come back. Thanks to the kitchen and the service team 🥰

We always enjoy coming back. Nice courtyard with big trees. It is very pleasant here on warm days. Food, as always, good. There are also various snacks or warm meals for the evening. We like it here and will come back.

My wife and I have been in Amberg for a week and have gotten to know various breweries during this time. At Brückmüller we found the brewery restaurant as you would imagine. Everything was fine. Delicious food, friendly and attentive service and the furnishings as well as the beautiful beer garden were to our liking. The memory card leaves nothing to be desired. I had a grill plate with a small beef fillet and two pork medallions, large fried bacon, herb butter and fries. First a small colorful salad. My wife had a sauerbraten with a potato dumpling and a bread dumpling. Everything tasted delicious and, given the portion size, we were absolutely full. In this restaurant the price-performance ratio is still right despite the increased VAT. I have worked in the catering industry in various positions for almost 40 years and can therefore only take my hat off to the performance of the kitchen and service. All I can say is keep it up...

After a great and very interesting tour of the brewery with “Bruckmüller-Bier”, we went to the “Heimatgenuss” inn. Very rustic inn, somehow with a Bavarian touch :-) Very nice and quick service, who even made the effort to speak a little standard German ;-) The kitchen was mega-fast and also very tasty. Prices were also absolutely reasonable.

Really good food, our group of 12 was completely happy with the food. Portions were generous. Service is exemplary, if I didn't live 600km away it would be my new regular restaurant.

Beer is more expensive here than elsewhere, even though you're sitting right in the brewery. Food portions have shrunk and become significantly more expensive, and sometimes people are no longer full.

I didn't think the quality of the food was that great. It seems to you that a lot of finished goods are used.

Had a meal with the family today in the local area! All the staff were very nice and friendly, despite the large number of guests, everything ran very quickly and smoothly, all the dishes came as ordered and everything was very tasty and rich, Viennese asparagus, Schäuferle, pork medallion, etc. Finally, a very pleasant conversation with the boss, I can only recommend the restaurant and we will definitely come back. I would recommend making a reservation to be sure of getting a seat, there is also a nice beer garden

In my opinion the best pub in Amberg!

Friendly and courteous staff, tasty beer, delicious food. Pleasant pub atmosphere.

Very rude, the cards were just thrown on the table without a word! Very expensive, a pork cordon bleu with a change of side dish for just under €19! That is not how it works. And then there isn't even a side salad. Simply charging €1 for the supplement change is very cheeky and unjustified. The service was very stressed and the pourer who simply threw the menus on the table should also look for something new. We were there with 8 people for the first and last time.

Good brewery restaurant with down-to-earth cuisine. Very good value for money and friendly service!

First of all, we got a seat in the aisle even though we were told when making the reservation that we would be sitting in the hall or beer garden. Thanks to the nice service we finally got into the hall. But then you want to order a round of schnapps...people can't do it anymore. .. Order from the boss...you have to go out to the cold bar...and get it yourself. Too bad

The schnitzel with fries was fantastic! A real treat, perfectly fried and the fries crispy. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was very friendly. Definitely a place to come back!

The food was very tasty and the presentation was very nice. They also offer homemade cakes/pies. The “Mozartkugel” was especially delicious. Portions are sufficient and the prices are also okay. The service was very friendly and on point. The waiting time for food was completely reasonable.

Traditional brewery restaurant from Bruckmüller Bier with rustic furnishings, a wide range of dishes and a wonderful beer garden in the warmer season in the historic old town of Amberg. The service staff is normally friendly, the dishes from starter soup, steak, schnitzel, fish, salad, and a few vegan dishes are all very tasty. The so-called cream puffs filled with cream/fruit and also of an impressive size are also well known and popular. Special events such as the bock beer season have been raising the restaurant's popularity for decades, as has the successful work of the tenant family Erras in Amberg, who have run the mountain restaurant on Amberg's Mariahilfberg for years and have already made a good name for themselves there. Unfortunately, a star deduction for the food is due to the now high pricing, which of course you can afford but you don't necessarily have to, as there are other good restaurants on site within walking distance. As is often the case in the old town, there are only very limited private parking spaces available and it is therefore mostly necessary to use public, paid parking areas. Of course my recommendation, see you next time and all the best!

Wir waren zwischen den Feiertagen 2023 zum Mittagessen. Das Essen, die Kalbsleber mit Apfelscheiben, gerösteten Zwiebeln war sensationell, optisch und geschmacklich. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art mundete ebenfalls großartig. Regionales Fleisch. Toll. Gastzimmer wunderbare Ausstrahlung. Service einwandfrei, sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir kommen sicher wieder. VOLLE Empfehlung.

Ich war heute mit meinem Lebensgefährten dort nach dem Theater, um einfach nur ein Bier zu trinken. Wir erhielten die Auskunft einer Kellnerin, wir könnten etwas trinken, die Küche sei schon geschlossen. Im Gastraum waren Tische besetzt, ein Herr fragte nach der Bedienung, da manche der Gruppe zahlen wollten. Wir wurden zunächst komplett ignoriert. Dann kam eine andere Kellnerin , sagte hallo und ignorierte uns weiterhin. Wir sind dann gegangen. Die Kellerin lief uns nach. Sie hätten Ruhetag und müssten organisieren. So viel Ignoranz und Unfreundlichkeit ist mir noch nie in der Gastronomie begegnet. Woher hätten wir denn wissen sollen, dass Ruhetag sei, zumal die Auskunft einer Kellnerin das Gegenteil besagte und und mehrere Räumen der Gaststätte besetzt waren. Fazit: Nie wieder. Ein Stern ist zuviel.

Super Bier 🍺! Mega Windbeutel und Kuchen!

Habe für 9 Personen für meine Familie einen Tisch bestellt, wegen meines Geburtstages.Leider war das Fleisch meines Rehbratens nur lauwarm.Kaum hatten wir gegessen,wurden wir gebeten ob wir nicht zusammen rücken können da noch Gäste warten.Wir wollten eigentlich noch eine Nachspeise und einen Kaffee trinken, aber so beengt an einen Tisch, geht gar nicht. Ausserdem fehlt es da sehr an Freudlichkeit,habe ziemlich verärgert bezahlt und wir sind dann gegangen!

Kundenfreundlichkeit ist anders, da kann man echt nur den Kopf schütteln. Omas Fleisch war lauwarm, hat die Bedienung nicht interessiert. Kaum waren wir mit dem essen fertig wurden wir (2) Tische auf einen zusammen gepresst. Die freundliche * Bedienung hat uns im Gespräch so überrumpelt dass wir das nachsehen hatten.Übrigens hatten wir reserviert, da sollte man wenigstens 90 min sitzen bleiben können. Die Nachspeise ist uns darauf hin vergangen. Essen war gut ,das Drumherum leider nicht. Schade…..

Leider war es schon mal viel besser.Auch das Preis Leistungensverhältnis passt meiner Meinung nicht mehr. Die Speisekarte wird immer kleiner dafür steigt der Preis. Zum Ausgleich werden die Portionen kleiner. Das Personal überwiegend gestresst bis übellaunig. Sehe hier bei den Rezensionen einige wirklich ansprechend Bilder ihres Essens. Unseres sah leider nicht so aus. Schade.

Das einzige was man auf der Website sucht ist die Speisekarte. Das man man nicht findet ist... überaschung ... die Speisekarte. Zeitverschwendung

Sehr gutes Essen und Getränke Etwas laut, es war aber auch sehr voll. Man muss zum Wochenende auf jeden Fall reservieren.

Sehr leckerer Zwiebelrostbraten,

Am Samstag habe ich es endlich geschafft, für diese Saison meinen ersten gebackenen Karpfen mit Kartoffelsalat zu essen. Der Karpfen in Bierteig war ziemlich groß und mega lecker. Der Kartoffelsalat hat mich sogar an den von meiner Oma damals erinnert! 10 Punkte für den Karpfen und auch den Rehbraten mit 2erlei Klößen. Leider war die Kürbissuppe recht dünn und die Kürbiskerne sahen eher aus, wie Sonnenblumenkerne und schmeckten auch so. Waren aber, laut Küche, Kürbiskerne. Die Bedienung war am Samstag nicht so gut drauf und ziemlich gestresst. Aber später, als es ruhiger wurde, wurde auch sie freundlicher. Ich bin happy, dass es in Amberg eine so gute Anlaufstelle für die Karpfenzeit gibt! Jedoch wäre es auch sehr sinnvoll, wenn man die Saison Karte auch aktuell auf der Website präsentiert und Preisangaben in der Speisekarte zu den Gerichten abbildet!

Super Essen, bei gemütlichen Ambiente und netten Personal

Sehr schön, daß die Wirtsleute vom Mariahilfberg eine neue Lokation habe. Mir gefällt es sehr gut dort. Essen war Top und Service astrein. Kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen, typisch bayrische, oberpfälzer Küche in Top-Qualtät. Gibt sogar Dotsch. Sehr zu empfehlen, immer wieder gerne. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Super Biergarten,Essen war super, Service war auch super! Dankeschön

Zwar ist es ein netter Biergarten aber wenn man sein Essen nicht bekommt und bei den Getränken auch nur das auf den Tisch gestellt wird, was nicht bestellt wurde, kann ich leider keine positive Bewertung abgeben. LEIDER EIN TOTALES NOGO.

Sehr schöner, kastanienbeschatteter Biergarten im Innenhof eines ehemaligen Klosters. Hervorragende Speisekarte, sehr freundliche Bedienungen, kurze Wartezeit, unser Essen hat super lecker geschmeckt! Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Es gibt schönere Biergärten.Bedienungen freundlich.Ein kleiner Sauerbraten besteht aus einem winzigen Knödel und ein kleines Stück Fleisch mit wenig Sosse und ohne Salat für 13.50 Euro finde ich total überteuert, ebenso Spezigetränk für 3.90 Euro

Ambiente schön aber sehr laut. Essen in Ordnung, Preise aber nicht angemessen. Personal übellaunig und genervt. Bei Bestellung von "nur Spätzle mit Champignonsoße" und "normaler Kartoffelsalat statt Kartoffelsalat mit Gurke dazu" total genervt und pampig. Muss man sich echt nicht nochmal antun.

Wiederholt zum Essen im Biergarten. Speiseauswahl und -qualität in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht toll; Biergarten hat trotz schöner Hoflage und alter Bäume den Charme eines Schotterparkplatzes. Schlimm ist aber: Bedienung jedesmal übellaunig, unfreundlich bis unverschämt. Jetzt reicht es!! Auch als Amberger sieht uns und unsere Familie diese Lokalität nicht wieder. Und auch mit der Firma werden wir hier keine Essen mehr veranstalten. Es gibt gute Alternativen.

Schöne alte Brauerei schön rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet etwas laut durch die hohen Decken das Essen ist vorzüglich ich hatte Spinatknödel . Diese waren sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das helle Bruckmüler Bier dazu war hervorragend die Bedienungen waren nett,freundlich und zuvorkommend gerne wieder
