Die besten Restaurants in Gersthofen

I can only recommend the restaurant for All You Can Eat if you are a good eater. A la carte, well: The Japanese curry was a little unimaginative. The rice was not washed well and there was too much starch left. The miso soup also has more water than tasty umami. I know it differently. And ginseng ginger tea is incorrectly offered on the menu, but you are served a flavored green tea. I assumed that I would get ginger root as a tea, as is usual for Asians. Green tea with caffeine and bag already steeping in the water which is not necessarily suitable in the evening as some people want to sleep. It's also bagged tea from Dallmayr, which at EUR 4.50 doesn't do justice to the price. As an upscale restaurant I would have expected a little more.

Clean showers and toilets. Large parking lot.

Unfortunately not so good anymore. Started strong. Significantly decreased.

I didn't find the staff so I don't know the details, the location is quiet but there is enough parking.

Wochenlang vorreserviert und dann einen Tisch am Stützpfosten zugewiesen bekommen, auch mit der Aufforderung uns einen anderen Tisch zu geben, nicht möglich, alles sei schon reserviert, lt. der jungen Angestellten. Der Nachbartisch zahlte und es wurde sofort wieder eingedeckt und Gäste zugewiesen. Unser 2. Tisch am Pfosten blieb dennoch frei, obwohl man die neuen Gäste auch dort hätte unterbringen können. Im übrigen, das Essen war nur lauwarm und die Bratensoße schmeckte nach Fertiggericht.

I like to eat here when I stay overnight in Gersthofen. The menu is large, the food is tasty, the prices are right.

We reserved the room and paid for it through Booking a couple days before arrival. We arrived at 21.45 on a Sunday night. There was no staff to be found neither the given phone number was answered. It lead to voicemail, which gave us another number (in german, which none of us spoke so it was a nightmare to find out). After around 40 minutes, the owner (i guess) arrived to give us the keys. He apologized for the inconvenience. The room we got wasn’t clean and had no hot water so we couldn’t take a shower. Neither the heating unit was working. Luckily we had our own blankets so we didn’t freeze to death. If i could give 0 stars I would. For 70€ it’s unacceptable.

Unfortunately it's all convenience, I saw that the one-euro soup was poured out of the plastic bag into the serving containers. The quality is very modest, corresponding to the taste. It's very likely that the salad is already out of the bag, so nothing is fresh at all. The last time I didn't feel good afterwards. The coffee is bad, the cinnamon rolls are small and taste artificial. The employees are mostly friendly, a plus point.

Very nice people, the pizzas I recently ordered were great

'Doner kebab without sauce' means I want a kebab WITHOUT sauce. The fact that you still put one on it and then scrape it off is just as bad as saying 'that's fine' if you have an allergy. So I paid money to throw the kebab away. Because an allergic reaction just doesn't suit me! So somewhere else in the future...

Good buffet at reasonable prices. Service could be a little more attentive with the drinks.
