Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service. Wir kommen wieder. Schattenplätze draußen vorhanden.

Sonniger Sommer Abend, also quasi das ideale Biergarten Wetter. Optisch Überzeugend. Da man im Biergarten jedoch nicht nur Ambiente, sondern gutes Essen erwartet, wird man von selbigem leider enttäuscht. Das Schnitzel schmeckt wie TK Ware und die Bratkartoffeln lassen zu wünschen übrig. Die Portionsgrößen von Wurstsalat und Schnitzel waren leider auf Kinderkarten Niveau. Insgesamt doch eher unbefriedigend, denn so wirklich günstig ist es trotzdem nicht. So wird leider viel Potential verschenkt. So schwer sind Schnitzel und Bratkartoffeln eigentlich nicht

Das Essen war gut, allerdings bekamen einige von uns nur eine eingeschränkte Speisekarte, weil wir eine zu große Gruppe wären. Wir waren eine vorangemeldete Gruppe von ca. 30 Personen. Bei ca 60-70 Plätzen im Innen- und Außenberreicht, eher seltsam bzw. ein Hinweis auf Überforderung. Das Personal hat uns dann auch ziemlich deutlich spüren lassen, das Gäste, eher als störendes Element empfunden werden. Zu guter Letzt wurden wir dann gegen ca 21 Uhr, mehr oder weniger, vom Platz verjagt. 'Jeder Spaß muss mal ein Ende haben und das ist jetzt' meinte der Wirt. Schön, dass Gersthofen viele freundliche Alternativen bereit hält, beim nächsten Mal, dann halt wo anders 😊

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. 2 Stunden kostenlos parken. Nudelgericht war sehr lecker. Salat war sehr einfach...nur Sauce oben drauf...Salat Blätter teilweise nicht sauber geputzt. Preis okay. Ein doppelter Espresso leider nur lauwarm

Wir sind hier regelmäßig, weil der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ist, das Essen sehr lecker ist und wir uns hier extrem wohlfühlen. Auch unser Hund bekommt immer sofort sein Wasser. Alles sehr vorbildlich!

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zum Abendessen im Strasser. Das Lokal ist sehr modern und einladend. Service war auch sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Auch Essen war geschmacklich absolut zufriedenstellend. Rinderroulade für 21 Euro ist okay, aber dann sollte man auch satt werden. Etwas mehr Spätzle würde da schon einiges bewirken. Kaiserschmarrn als Hauptgericht war sehr knapp bemessen, auch für eine Frau die nicht die großen Mengen vertilgt. Wer also mit Hunger zum Strasser geht, wird wohlmöglich von der Größe der Gerichte enttäuscht sein. Aber wie gesagt, geschmacklich hat‘s gepasst.

Ich war heute mit einem Geschäftspartner beim Strasser essen, es war eine helle Freude wie freundlich man empfangen wurde. Dazu die wirklich aufmerksamen Bedienungen, die uns sogar vom Rauchen "einfingen" weil die Vorspeise am Tisch stand, sowas ist auch absolut klasse und keine Selbstverständlichkeit, hier schon. Die Fragen meines Gastes, der nicht 100% mit der Landessprache vertraut war, wurden zuvorkommend und ausführlich beantwortet. Trotz des Andrangs waren die Bedienungen auch noch zu dem einen oder anderen Scherz aufgelegt und das Essen brauchte zwar a bissel, aber bei Fülle des Ladens kein Wunder und absolut akzeptabel. Das Essen an sich war dem Preis mehr als angemessen und unendlich lecker, hier kehre ich, oder viellleicht sogar wir gerne nochmal ein und freuen uns über die jetzt endlich passende Bewirtung im Strasser. Danke allen für den angenehmen Abend. Update 05.03.2026 Gestern war ich mit einem Freund im Strasser, haben den noch recht frischen Frühling genossen. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Bediener, sehr nett, sehr aufmerksam, kann man wirklich nur sagen Top5.

Wir bestellten Schnitzel. Sie waren nicht die besten, die ich je gegessen habe, aber sie waren in Ordnung.

Das Essen das Ambiente alles super

Eigentlich eine schöne Gaststätte, nur das Personal war recht arrogant, wir ( 7 Personen ) wollten am Sonntag nach einer Veranstaltung noch eine Kleinigkeit essen (21 Uhr) und trinken. Uns wurde gesagt, dass es nur noch Hauptgerichte gibt, da uns das zuviel war, haben wir uns für einen Kaiserschmarrn entschieden, der wirklich nicht besonders gebacken war, noch nicht ganz durch und zu fest, entweder aufgetaut oder nochmals aufgewärmt. Der Ober servierte uns den Kaiserschmarrn mit vollem Mund und kauend. War nicht sehr angenehm. Außerdem lachten und spotteten die Angestellten hinter der Theke. War auch störend. Dafür gab's auch kein Trinkgeld, wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen, schade.

Gutes Essen und viele Lokale. Trotzdem angenehm ruhig, selbst wenn sich Leute unterhalten.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tolles bürgerliches Restaurant mit angenehmem Ambiente! Der Service ist sehr freundlich und kinderlieb – sogar Kinderbesteck wurde direkt gebracht. Die Küche ist sehr gut und dabei angenehm flott. Ein echtes Highlight für Familien ist die kleine Kinderspielecke. Wir waren außerdem schon zur Taufe unseres Sohnes hier und waren auch damals rundum zufrieden. Diesmal hatten wir den Zwiebelrostbraten und zum Abschluss Kaiserschmarrn – beides absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Dies ist unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die deutschen Gerichte waren köstlich. Sonderwünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt, insbesondere wenn Ihr Begleiter Pommes statt Spätzle oder Gnocchi bevorzugt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden!

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe zum Mittagessen im Wirtshaus Strasser. Die Reservierung war problemlos. Die Gaststube ist modern-rustikal eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam sehr zügig, war ansprechend angerichtet, die Portionen reichlich und allen hat es gut geschmeckt.

Ich habe sehr gut gegessen, ich kann es nur empfehlen und die Preise sind auch gut.

Wir waren mehrfach da und das Essen war jedes Mal hervorragend, sowohl die herzhaften als auch die süßen Speisen. Auch die vegetarischen bzw. veganen Gerichte sind wärmstens zu empfehlen. Dazu kommt noch das tolle Team. Wir freuen uns sehr aufs nächste Mal!

Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service ist sehr gut. Meine Brüder, meine Schwägerin und ich haben uns heute sehr wohl im Strasser gefühlt. Es hat rundherum alles gepasst und können das,Lokal uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

We were invited to a milestone birthday celebration. The menu was limited to a small selection of dishes. I wanted to order something from the main menu (like schnitzel), but this was vehemently refused. I think a schnitzel isn't anything special and should be available in any restaurant. The coleslaw served with the roast pork was definitely not homemade, especially since it still contained large cabbage leaves. The gravy tasted more like a ready-made sauce with a bit of beer added. The roast pork and the onion roast beef were definitely served with the same gravy... unfortunately, there was no discernible difference between the two dishes. The Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) also wasn't freshly made. It tasted and smelled strongly of old clarified butter. It was very greasy. Not a pleasant taste. I had hoped for better quality.

We were there today with high expectations and were unfortunately disappointed. The service was unfriendly, and we felt rushed. The food was just okay for the price. We definitely won't be coming back. What a shame.

The food was very good, but it took two hours, even though two tables arrived about an hour after us and received their food earlier. The staff were otherwise friendly.

This was my second time here and I have no complaints. The food was delicious. The service was quick, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. I'd gladly come back next time.

Today, almost everything is bought ready-made and mixed, warmed up, or heated. If I order a roast duck at Strasser's, I get store-bought red cabbage, potato dumplings made from store-bought mix, duck stock mixed with gravy powder, and a reheated duck that was cooked in a large steamer the day before. These days, it's just a matter of the right oven programming. Well, bad enough, but at least the reheating should be done properly. Lukewarm duck, salty gravy, lukewarm dumplings, lukewarm red cabbage. Three people in the kitchen...not much going on... Store-bought gingerbread strudel, probably from Dinghartinger. German cuisine is simply a tragedy.

I was there for a small celebration. Good food. Very friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Fair prices. Parking is available either in the paid parking garage or on one of the side streets.

The restaurant has a modern interior and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was very tasty! Unfortunately, the portions were a bit small for the price per dish. It's best to reserve in advance, as it was quite busy even on a weekday. Suitable for larger groups. The service was friendly, but there was a long wait before we could order anything else.

We were there for lunch with 16 people. We had pre-ordered a week in advance and agreed to dine à la carte. When we arrived on the agreed date, we only found a daily special. Upon inquiry, the waiter explained that à la carte wasn't possible for 16 people. One person ordered roast beef with onions and requested boiled potatoes instead of spaetzle. According to the waiter, this wasn't possible. The accompanying spaetzle was lukewarm, as were some of the cheese spaetzle. We brought this to the waiter's attention. The waiter's response: "He'll pass it on to the kitchen." The service was very unfriendly, the food was good but not perfect. The location is very nice, but because of this experience, we won't be going there again.

Would not recommend this place unless you are starving. Need to order 1 dish per pax, restaurant policy does not allow only drinks order. Came with 4 pax, ordered 2 big meals and 4 drinks. Was charged 10 euros extra for sharing food, was told we should have ordered kids meals if we were not hungry or waste food and harm the environment. Noticed this 10 euros and discussed after bill payment, reduced to 5 euros after discussion. What a horrible policy, and nasty experience, will not visit again. The server was rather rude too, we asked for manager but he said manager had gone home, we asked for his name but he blurted a very long german word (doubt it is his name), probably trying to confuse us. What a shame because otherwise the food was decent.

We regularly go to Strasser in Gersthofen and are completely satisfied every time. The food is always delicious, fresh, and of really good quality. The staff is friendly, attentive, and takes time to accommodate all your requests – you can tell. The prices are absolutely fair for what you get. The restaurant itself is clean, beautifully decorated, and has a really pleasant, charming atmosphere. The menu is varied – there are also great options for vegetarians and vegans. We've been there several times, both for lunch and dinner, and everything has always been perfect. Even with larger groups, everything went smoothly. A particularly nice touch: We'll be celebrating our wedding here in 2026 – the organization so far has been really good, super professional and welcoming at the same time. A clear recommendation – we look forward to it every time!

We stopped here spontaneously for lunch today, and everything was as it should be. Friendly staff who are really on the ball, very good food, whether soups or main courses, a nice and well-maintained ambiance, and clean restrooms. We plan to hold our wedding reception at Gasthof Strasser in 2026. We were allowed to come along for a tasting meal, which wasn't too expensive. The food was delicious, and Mr. Klopfer was very friendly and accommodating. We're looking forward to the celebration.

I booked a table for 16 people. Unfortunately, they only reserved two tables for 8. The group was scattered. We couldn't really talk to each other. After asking and pleading, they refused to put the tables together. The answer was, it wasn't possible; we could sit inside. We don't have that much staff for outside. Yeah, yeah, with a temperature of almost 30 degrees. That wasn't hospitable. I'm an old Gersthofen resident, always here, so I've known the inn for a long time, even worked there once under the innkeeper Essl. The waiters could be a bit friendlier and less stressed. The food was very, very tasty. As always when we ate there. Therefore, 5 stars for the food.

The beer garden is a nice place to sit. BUT: 6.50 for a sloppy Obazten (a kind of sausage) served in a small bowl (without any parsley) with ONE slice of bread and no breadboard – outrageous.

Our go-to restaurant when we visit our friends in Gersthofen. Super delicious food. Top-notch. Very large portions. I always get a slightly smaller portion upon request. I think that's very commendable. A big thank you for that. The staff is always very friendly and competent. And the welcome is always very warm. Very nice ambiance. Since we don't eat that much anymore, we wanted to order just one meal and an empty plate, but this was rejected and we were told to order two smaller portions, which are, of course, more expensive. Overall, the meal lacked seasoning and salt. The spaetzle were completely watered down, so we received a 20% discount on one portion, even though we both had spaetzle.

I wanted to order the Strasser plate for 2 people with my wife, but in the photos you only see an oval plate with 1 schnitzel, 1 small steak, 1 slice of roast, 2 dumplings, spaetzle and salad/vegetables. The accompanying text says for 1 person who is very hungry or 2 people who have to share the plate. That's a joke, at a price of 38.80 euros. When asked, it was said that that was enough. I then ordered the Viennese style schnitzel for myself. The meat was ok, but the fries were hard fried, and many of the fries couldn't be speared with a fork. The atmosphere was appealing, the waiters were extremely friendly and not intrusive. Nevertheless, I will no longer visit Strasser.

We celebrated our registry office there yesterday. Everything went great, lovingly decorated, great service, well organized. Everyone enjoyed the food, good generous portions. A small play area for the little guests. Thanks again for everything

Was in the beautiful inn again today after half a year. The main course (ox cheeks) and salad were great as always, but the Kaiserschmarrn was unfortunately disappointing, clearly not homemade. And it was very different the last few times, you could really look forward to it. So please don't offer more than that!

Had a delicious meal at Strasser again today, Wiener Schnitzel was great. But unlike usual, the Kaiserschmarrn was not homemade. It's better not to, because the homemade one was a real bomb.

If you ever come to Gersthofen, try out the STRASSER, located right on the main street - on the corner Delicious food is guaranteed!! There is a lot to nibble on from roulade, ox cheeks and pike perch, and of course delicious Kaiserschmarrn!! try it yourself °

It is a pleasant inn with delicious cuisine. The ambience is not outstanding as it is very modern and there is comparatively little space available. Service is friendly. It is a location that is recommended but won't blow you away.

Visiting Gersthofen for two days, we were here for the first time. The historic building is beautiful to look at. As a starter I had beef broth with liver spaetzle. The broth was good, the liver spaetzle was dry and bland to my taste. We also had crusted roast and Viennese-style schnitzel, both of which were ok. For dessert I had a yeast dumpling with cherry jam. Apart from the fact that I like the original with plum jam much better, the yeast dumpling was almost as hard as a board. Worst yeast dumplings I've ever eaten.

Hello everyone, now I've tried the Strasser in Gersthofen. What can I say? It was really a very good meal. Had an onion roast. Was fried almost perfectly (medium). Sauce and cheese spaetzle were great. Good quality. The roast could have been a bit bigger. But it was enough. So guys you can go there. The menu is clear, which speaks for itself. With that in mind, have fun there.

Very service-oriented staff who also respond to special requests. It's worth taking a look at the daily menu with imaginative creations. Everything tasted very good.

The Strasser Wirtshaus advertises modern Bavarian cuisine. This is exactly what you get, fresh and finely prepared. Reservation was easy, parking in the underground car park (free for 2 hours with a ticket) underneath is not barrier-free due to the access with several steps from there. In addition to the good cuisine and the friendly staff, I would like to mention a small highlight: there is ketchup and mayonnaise in a jug on the table. Since these are packaged in small 'tubes', there are small scissors to open these packages 'accident-free'. Cheers! for this brilliant idea and thank you very much!

Really delicious roast pork, 2 large slices of very good quality, with lots of homemade (no packet) sauce, an authentic delight. The inn is also very easy to reach for people in wheelchairs. You can park in the underground car park and take the elevator to the inn. Friendly service. The children's portions also make very hungry, demanding foodies happy and full. Highly recommended.

First of all, a very nice restaurant. We were a group of 6 people. We all felt that the food didn't quite do justice to the high prices. Cranberries from a bag, unseasoned fried potatoes and spaetzle were snuff pasta and didn't even seem homemade. But what displeased us most was that we were charged without asking. In addition, the employees often gave the feeling that you were unwelcome if you didn't want a new drink or order a dessert right away. At 10 p.m. we were asked to leave, even though there was still a large table occupied by at least 20 people who didn't have to leave. If we had known that it would close so early, this wouldn't have been a place for us anyway. Since the rest didn't convince us either, we won't be visiting again. There is a lot of potential for improvement here.
