The staff is friendly. The location is top. We sat in the beer garden when the weather was nice and ordered a sausage salad and a salad with chicken strips. After 40 minutes we were informed that there were problems with the chicken salad. People who sat down after us had now received their hot meal. Unfortunately, when the salads were finally served, there was great disappointment. The sausage salad was OK (basic), but the chicken salad was outrageous. It wasn't a starter salad, but a main course salad. It consisted of a cherry tomato halved, 5 slices of cucumber, a small handful of lettuce and a few dry chicken strips with 0-8-15 yogurt dressing for almost 19,- 🤔 It was nicely prepared. But in my opinion completely overpriced and not really recommended. Salads in other restaurants in the city are worlds apart. The drink position was also misunderstood. Well, it can happen. I don't want to go there anymore.

We spontaneously came here for dinner and didn't regret it - on the contrary! Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we still got a table in the beer garden. The very attentive service immediately took our drinks and our food order. Drinks came shortly afterwards, the food not much later. It was a pleasure! We can only recommend the beef ragout with chanterelles and linguine as well as the cordon bleu! We'll definitely be happy to come back!

Eat good. Service very friendly!! Unfortunately there is no possibility to charge an e-bike. If this had been possible I would have given the service 5 stars. We asked whether we could plug our battery and charger into a socket in the inn during our stay, as the battery was only enough for a maximum of 8 km. The answer: unfortunately it is not possible! I would have been happy to pay the electricity costs, which were well under 10 cents, through a tip.

Angelockt von dem positiven rtl Bericht dachte ich mir schön dass ich in Augsburg einen neuen Tipp habe….. man muss sagen das Personal war schnell und aufmerksam…..vom Essen war ich eher enttäuscht…..es war zwar nicht schlecht aber es war maximal 10-20 % selbst zubereitet der Rest war Fertigware…..um das zu wärmen brauche ich nicht in ein Restaurant das bekomme ich auch selbst hin schade….

Yesterday wasn't my first time in this inn. It's always been good so far, but yesterday my dish was disappointing. I had a cordon bleu which was very hard and dark and had a rectangular shape. The “cheese” didn’t taste like cheese and came out liquid (watery) when cut. Unfortunately, the cranberries weren't on the plate either. I know freshly made schnitzel and cordon bleu from Austria and they are pounded thin, freshly breaded and fried until floating. As a side dish I had fries that were neither seasoned nor salted. My husband had salmon fillet with vegetables and he thought it was good.

Great traditional restaurant and a landmark of Gersthofen paired with modern style and charm. The house has tradition and a long history, the restaurant is divided into a very attractive open dining area and a cozy lounge, both with a very attractive ambience. The staff is young, quick, relaxed and friendly. The food is traditionally local, very tasty and of good quality, meat and meat-free dishes are delicious and side dishes are also on point. Portions are decent for my taste and neither too much nor too little. Waiting time is absolutely ok. Price/performance ratio is great, not cheap but not too expensive either, what you get for your money is worth it. Reservations are recommended, which only speaks for the good demand. I still enjoy coming here again and again with both family and guests!

We visited Wirtshaus Strasser spontaneously after searching for restaurants online because we were on vacation in the area and didn't know the area. No sooner said than done, we were lucky to get a table because we hadn't made a reservation. The first thing we noticed was the great, sophisticated ambience, very modern and upscale, which made a great impression. We then found out from the menu that the program “My Local, Your Local” was filmed there, because you could still order the menu that was cooked on the day of filming. We had schnitzel, roulades and sliced ​​meat and were really impressed. It came beautifully presented on great platters, looked great and importantly, it tasted great. The service is very friendly and quick. There is also a great play area for little kids who quickly get bored. We were very enthusiastic and satisfied and can definitely recommend the Wirtshaus Strasser.

Located in the heart of Gersthofen but unfortunately not everything is perfect. It's not possible without a reservation. The place wasn't full and we still waited over 40 minutes for the food for crusty roast and cordon blue. As a side dish there are cranberries - unfortunately from the bag. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same level of cleanliness there. On Sunday evening, the cellar would rather kick the fries from the floor under the next table than simply pick them up. The colleague only temporarily wipes the cleared tables, including the remaining place settings, because the surrounding free tables, including our table, all still had stains. The food is good but there is still plenty of potential for improvement.

Media varietà di proposte, prezzi in linea con quanto sopra esposto. Consigliato anche perché vicino ai principali hotel della zona. Nota per gli italiani: evitate di andare a mangiare in pessimi ristoranti pseudo "italiani" della zona.

We arrived at the inn with great joy and were looking forward to a nice meal. From then on it went downhill. The order was taken very quickly but then the wait begins. From the time we ordered we (8 people) had to wait 1.5 hours. When we asked the staff the reason was because one person wanted soup, everyone else had to wait longer. Neither from the staff nor after we asked to speak to the boss, no apology and the boss didn't want to come and sent the staff to me. It's sad that the boss didn't come to us after we asked. The beautiful inn is located right in the heart of Gersthofen and is connected to a parking garage. This means you can get to the table dry even in bad weather. The beer garden is just as inviting in summer as the beautifully furnished interior area all year round. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My absolute recommendation is “the Strasser” and the Kaiserschmarren. Always happy to come here :-)

Great inn! We celebrated our son's baptism in the council corner. And it was perfect. We couldn't have imagined it better! Your own separate room, great! The prior arrangement was problem-free, the staff is always friendly, helpful and competent. The food was impeccable, tasty, warm and beautifully presented. Very nicely decorated in a modern way, it always looks so very inviting. All of our guests were thrilled with us. For vegetarians and vegans, there is a clear range of regionally typical dishes. There is no special menu for children. Everything tastes OK. Portion sizes appropriate. The range of non-alcoholic drinks could be expanded. Starter, main course & dessert €36. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Service friendly, but they were forgotten twice. The space seems rather new. Everything clean & well maintained.

Waren zu 3. Essen. 2 mal Krustenbraten, 1 mal Zander. Sehr lecker und gute Portionen. Persönlich wören mir größere Knodel und weniger Fleisch lieber. Preise fpr die Qualität absolut angemessen. Hier macht man nichts falsch. Komme jederzeit gerne wieder.

Kurz vor einer Veranstaltung in der Stadthalle noch was essen- dafür hat das Strasser die absolut ideale Lage. Und es ist ein richtig gutes Wirtshaus im besten Sinne. Ansprechende Einrichtung, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service und gute traditionelle Gerichte. Wo findet man schon noch Rindsrouladen auf der Karte, die dann auch noch richtig gut waren mit sehr leckeren Spätzle und einem wunderbar lang gekochten Blaukraut. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

The food wasn't good. Largely prefabricated out of the box. The vegetable potato pancakes for over €16 were made from dumpling dough with a touch of vegetables on a salad from the bag with a dressing from the packet. The only “handwork” was probably the halved cherry tomatoes. Really sad.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag mit 10 Personen beim „Gans-Essen“. Vorbestellt haben wir für 7 Gans-Esser. Die Bestätigungs-Email war ebenfalls für 7 Personen, die Gans essen. Nun kam jedenfalls die Gans mit 4 zerteilten Stücken, die angeblich für 6 Personen reichen sollte. Was leider in keinster Weise der Fall war. Bereiten wir selbst eine Gans zu sind es mindestens 7-8 Stücke. Doch das alles wäre nicht im Geringsten so übel, wenn sie wenigstens frisch zubereitet gewesen wäre. Ich bin wirklich sprachlos, ob der schlechten Qualität der Gans, die mehr als zäh und trocken war, wie auch von den Beilagen. Es war, als wäre alles vom Vortag aufgewärmt worden, anders kann ich mir das nicht erklären. Für 129€ pro Gans war das unser schlimmster Reinfall.

Wir kamen ohne Reservierung an einem Weihnachtstag. Haben trotzdem einen Platz bekommen. Der Service war ein bisschen chaotisch, weil sich irgendwie alle und doch keiner so richtig zuständig gefühlt hat. Trotzdem das Essen kam gleichzeitig, die Getränke pünktlich. Zum Essen sei gesagt, es war so super lecker, ich kann es an einer Hand abzählen das ich in den letzten 5 Jahren so gut gegessen habe. Gerne wieder :)

Samstagabend, spontan einen Tisch für drei bekommen. Trotz kleinem Kind. Sehr freundliches Personal und angenehme Atmosphäre. Essen war super frisch und sehr lecker. Selbst für Veganer gibt es eine gute und leckere Auswahl. Die Spielecke hat den Kleinen auch sehr gefallen. Kann man sehr empfehlen.

Leider waren die Knödel so gummig dass sie wahrscheinlich auf dem Tisch gehüpft wären. Das Fleisch war gut. Die Preise fanden wir waren allgemein sehr hoch.
