I've been enjoying eating there for 20 years

Were there yesterday - had the Swabian plate and my husband had the Viennese style schnitzel - there's still a lot of room for improvement - the sauce from the Swabian plate was hunter's sauce from a well-known manufacturer - the schnitzel was huge - but it was industrially breaded - it's a shame - you should go for it Croatians - just don't eat German dishes - service was super nice - don't know if we'll come again - if so then we'll only try the Croatian dishes - it's a shame just leave out the ready-made products or just remove the dishes from the menu - all the best

The food was a lot and plentiful, there were a lot of fries, the meat was fried differently, sometimes good and sometimes dry.

I have to honestly say I'm very disappointed, we were eating with the family. It started with my wife ordering a Kirsch Gois as stated on the menu and then getting a cherry spritzer. Me and my wife then shared a grill plate for two people. The quantity was more than sufficient, but unfortunately the taste leaves something to be desired. The Djuvec rice and liver were the only things that were good. Pork neck, pork spies and the minced steaks were way too dry so you couldn't eat them. The fries were soggy and barely salty or not at all. The saddest thing about the matter is the comment from the boss. After the waitress asked me if I wanted to take it home with me, I explained to her why I didn't want it and explained what was bothering me as above. The waitress apologized and went to (I think the boss) and explained my complaint to him. All he said was, I quote: "Yes, it could be that it's busy" and I find that a disgrace. There was no apology, no little attention or other compensation, just this comment. I will definitely not eat there again. I have never been treated so badly. Definitely not recommended!

Nice inconspicuous restaurant. Found it through the voucher book. A bit surprised that only a small card is provided for this. There is no problem getting a grill plate upon request. Service was very friendly and nice and although the beer garden is right on the street, it was really very cozy. Can confidently be recommended.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The meat was very tough. The chivapcici were from the day before and were so dry. Everything was over-seasoned. The service was nice, but unfortunately we didn't understand what we wanted to order even after saying it three times, but at some point it worked. We were here 3 years ago and everything was great back then. There's definitely a different chef now.

This is the right place for good, hearty food. Moderate prices and if the weather is right in the beer garden.

By far the worst Croatian, not recommended second time, completely substandard meat quality and actually inedible.

Despite a reservation, we didn't even get anything to drink after 15 minutes. Then they left and won't come back. This was not the case with the previous owner.

Food was ok, should have gotten salad but didn't. We were there with our dog and asked 5 times for a bowl of water but were skilfully ignored. As some of the reviews have written, I also had the feeling that your compatriots were welcome and other guests were not. The staff was rude and only on expensive orders and invoices and nothing else It's a pity that our money is actually worth less than that of others

We went out to eat with the voucher book and I have to say I'm quite disappointed - you only have a certain choice when you come with the voucher. We had a Swabian plate, the spaetzle and the meat were quite good. Well, I've eaten much better, apart from that it wasn't RR a.m. sauce, but more of a hunter's sauce. The salad wasn't particularly fresh either. Service was quite okay, ambience, well, you can leave it alone, there is also a beer garden. And a few parking spaces, but unfortunately they were all occupied.

Small restaurant. Unfortunately, there is little food without pork. I usually only know cevapcici without pork. The food didn't look very appetizing, nor was it a highlight in terms of taste. Prices are too high for that.

The restaurant is a bit old-fashioned, as are the sanitary facilities; but everything is well maintained and clean. The food (meat on a skewer) was good so far. Rice, fries and side salad grade 2, meat unfortunately a bit flaxy, four different slices of meat (if you like that much, you'll get enough of meat). Reasonable price/quality ratio

Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday here. There is a large room for such celebrations on the first floor. Everything worked out great. The organization (decoration, food, drinks, etc.) was great. Staff was friendly. In summary, I would like to come here again.

I found the place via Google. Since I really like authentic food, I wanted to try it out. The food is very tasty, except for the Cordon Bleu. It was very noticeably breaded and almost tasteless. My impression was that it was finished goods. If not, please correct. The Croatian food, on the other hand, was very tasty and well seasoned. I can recommend these without a guilty conscience and will happily order them in the future. The service was very friendly and quick. Despite the full restaurant and an event next door, the dishes ordered were delivered very promptly and to the point. But I still have to make deductions, starting with the unmarked parking lot, through the toilets, which are clean but in need of renovation, and finally a meal that was brought, which, contrary to previous agreement, was delivered _with_ liver, which I cannot eat for health reasons. All in all, it's a great restaurant that I would happily visit again, but unfortunately it wasn't perfect in too many ways.

We had dinner at Hillenbrand's this evening. The restaurant is simply but beautifully furnished. It's bright and clean. The service was friendly. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I had a grill plate. The liver was still raw, the skewer and the pork steak were tough and mixed. The cevapcici and the minced meat cakes were good. The fries were OK and the rice was fine. My wife had a Swabian pot. In this case, the meat and the spaetzle were okay. Unfortunately the sauce tasted like ready-made packets and the mushrooms also came from a can. This isn't great. All in all it wasn't enough for a second visit. Maybe it was also because of our voucher from the gourmet block. You don't know.

We have been to the Hillenbrand restaurant a few times and every time the food was delicious. The service was also very friendly. The parking situation is a bit difficult, but that's actually a good sign since the parking lot is always full :) When we feel like Balkan food, we like to go to Hillenbrand.

A schnitzel as it should be, large, wafer-thin and crispy. Excellent!

It was our first time there, the food was ok, nothing special and the meat wasn't the best quality, salad only came upon request, everyone got a nightcap where we paid nothing, their compatriots were treated differently than we were, I had the feeling.

Very tasty 😋 The two of us ate the platter for two people, it was very tasty but they didn't make it, we had it again the next day and it was enough for one person. Price and performance great. At the end there was a schnapps👍. We will be back definitely.

Were passing through and found this nice little restaurant. We had an excellent meal there - we can only recommend it.

Highly recommended, we have already been to Hillenbrand several times, today to celebrate the day with friends and we approved the platter for 4 people, what can I say, simply delicious and something for everyone 🤗 highly recommended, gladly again 👍

Keine Ahnung wie diese andere Bewertungen zustande kamen. Die Pommes waren gut. Das Steak war groß, aber leider nicht gut. Der Service so schlimm und unverschämt. Warum? weil wir es gewagt hatten zu bestellen? Eine Rechnung haben zu wollen? Ich habe kein Trinkgeld gegeben. Wer ein gefülltes Rumpsteak auf die Rechnung setzt, obwohl keiner von dem Tisch eins hatte, das ist schon seltsam. Die Chefin selber war nett, aber was bringt das, wenn man jemanden zum Arbeiten zwingt der nicht mag und die Gäste vergrault. Ich empfehle Qualität - beim Personal und beim Fleisch. Die Pommes waren gut. So kommen wir definitiv nicht wieder.

Die Hauptspeise war sehr gut. Pommes knusprig, Fleisch zart, Soße lecker... Die Nachspeise (Eis mit heißen Himbeeren) bestand zum größten Teil aus Eis und Sahne. Außerdem wurden die Himbeeren nicht separat serviert.

Sehr gute und reichhaltige kroatische Küche zu vernünftigen Preis.

Das Essen war sehr gut, sehr große Portion. Wer gerne Fleisch isst, für den ist es sehr gut.

Reichliche Portionen zu sehr guten Preis. Das Ambiente ist eher 80er Jahre Dorfwirtschaft, aber das stört nicht wirklich. Lecker war es allemal und die Leute sind wirklich freundlich und bemüht. Einziges Manko: Nur Barzahlung.

Eine einfach gehaltene Gaststätte, dafür alle Güte ins Essen investiert, sehr reichliche Portion für "nen schmalen Taler" . Sehr lecker, genau mein Ding. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Riesige Portionen zum guten Preis. Leckeres Essen. Freundlicher Service. Es besteht die Möglichkeit im Gasthof oder im Biergarten zu essen. Aber es gibt auch die Option zum Mitnehmen. Die Gaststätte bietet auch einen großen Saal in welchem man Feierlichkeiten mit Catering ausrichten kann. Haben hier den Geburtstag von meinem Papa mit insgesamt 60 Leuten gefeiert - Es ist gut bezahlbar!

Auch hier schon öfters gewesen und nicht entäuscht worden. Preis Leistung ist mehr als Gut. Falls man sich so eine Grillplatte bestellt die für 2 Personen zum Beispiel wäre, da könnten locker 3 Leute davon runter essen. Wir waren zu 6 und haben die Platte für 4 nicht geschafft da das soviel Fleisch ist und noch eine riesen Portion Beilagen. Ich selber esse keine Leber aber den Leuten aus unserer Gruppe hat sie sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service ist freundlich und wirklich bemüht um seine Gäste. Als Abschluss vom Abend haben wir noch einen kleinen Absacker bekommen zum Verdauen. Wir haben auch schonmal den Nebenraum reserviert für einen kleinen Geburtstag, und das ging ohne Probleme über den Tisch. Einmal hier essen schadet keinem, es gibt eine Große Auswahl an Leckerein hier.

Wir waren auf der Durchfahrt und sind mittags zur Stärkung in die Hillenbrand Gaststätte. Bei guten Wetter hat das Restaurant einen netten Außenbereich - wegen der Lage hört und sieht man natürlich trotzdem den Verkehr. Die Portionen waren sehr üppig und wir mussten uns die Reste einpacken lassen ;) besonders gut war das gefüllte Hackfleisch - es war mit reichlich Käse und Knoblauch befüllt. Der Grillteller war ebenfalls sehr groß von der Portion. Zwei der Fleischportionen waren für mich zu stark gebraten und zäh, die anderen drei waren aber gut. Wir kommen gern wieder! Preis-Leistung ist super!

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce. Kuchnia rzeczywiście regionalna. Znajdziemy specjały z kuchni bałkańskie, niemieckiej, schwabskiej. Ceny zgodne z oczekiwaniami.

Insgesamt ein ordentliches Restaurant mit üppigen Portionen und nettem Personal. Preislich sind die Gerichte noch vertretbar aber nicht unbedingt günstig. Ich habe mir ein Schnitzel bestellt, das von durchschnittlichem Geschmack war und mein Radler war leider sehr wässrig. Die Balkan Spezialitäten sahen optisch allerdings sehr ansprechend aus!

Der Biergarten ist sehr schön, auch die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Vorallem ist zu erwähnen, dass es einen Salat zu fast jedem Essen gibt.

Heel erg lekker gegeten voor weinig geld. (Te) Grote porties. Hadden een grillschotel voor 2 personen besteld, er met zijn 4en van gegeten en er was nog steeds over. Lekkere rode wijn, vriendelijke mensen. Mochten wij ooit nog in de buurt zijn, zouden we zeker terug komen

Wahr Gestern das erste Mal dort. Sauberes lokal, Essen ist super, Bedienung sehr freundlich, Portionen groß. Komme bestimmt wieder. Macht weiter so.

Mengenmäßig unschlagbar, gut gewürzt, bei der Fleischqualität ist Luft nach oben, Fleisch war teilweise zäh. Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, es wird automatisch eine Schale für ein Doggy bag bereit gestellt. Die Alufolie wandert von Tisch zu Tisch. Der Gastraum ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet.

Locale tranquillo e alla buona con personale super gentile ed accogliente. Abbiamo cenato in 7 (4 adulti + 3 bambini) e siamo stati benissimo!!! Cibo ottimo e abbondante (carne cucinata correttamente e di ottima qualità) e birre ottime! Rapporto qualità prezzo fantastico: davvero un posto da consigliare!!! Bravi!
