Hotel Villatoscana in Gersthofen

Room booked for 2 and only one bedding made. One curtain was just cut off and not hemmed, which is not a condition for a hotel room.

The food didn't convince us for these prices, but neither did the taste

We reserved the room and paid for it through Booking a couple days before arrival. We arrived at 21.45 on a Sunday night. There was no staff to be found neither the given phone number was answered. It lead to voicemail, which gave us another number (in german, which none of us spoke so it was a nightmare to find out). After around 40 minutes, the owner (i guess) arrived to give us the keys. He apologized for the inconvenience. The room we got wasn’t clean and had no hot water so we couldn’t take a shower. Neither the heating unit was working. Luckily we had our own blankets so we didn’t freeze to death. If i could give 0 stars I would. For 70€ it’s unacceptable.

Italian restaurant with good food, friendly service and an arrogant owner. Today there were seven of us eating at the pizzeria. The dishes, from pizza to pasta, were excellently prepared. The waiter was also very friendly. We had made a short-term reservation the day before with the information that we had to leave early for a date that had already been set. According to the booking statement, it wasn't a problem. When we asked for the bill and again pointed out our time problem and also offered that someone from the group who stayed behind could pay the total bill, we were ignored by the owner of the restaurant for over 15 minutes. When I asked again, he attacked me during the payment process, became verbally unfriendly and suggested that I should instead just order pizzas or go straight to a fast food restaurant. My conclusion: It is a shame when restaurant operators no longer master the simplest rules of communication and decency due to their own arrogance. For ourselves, I am sure that we will find another good Italian restaurant in the Gersthofen area in the future.

Hello, I was with my family yesterday and was very friendly from start to finish. It's a shame that I had a short time and will stay overnight next time

We got the room with the statement that it was a quiet room until the staff stood in front of the door and chatted at night and the cars could all be heard

We had dinner at Villa Toscana and really enjoyed the evening and the food there. The children's wishes were taken into account and it was a really great and entertaining stay.

I was recently able to visit Villa Toscana. Full of anticipation, the positive mood changed relatively quickly. The room furniture was worn out but overall clean. The location - near the center - is good. The first negative touch should turn the food praised here into a positive one. Prices are already good. It was probably because the service didn't have the best day on Monday. The food was ok. On the terrace you quickly realized that the furniture, like in the room, had seen its best days. Evaluation: Room 2 stars because unfortunately worn furniture and open electrical connections. Service 2 stars because it was an “annoyed” effort purely on sight. After dinner, no one cared about us anymore. 3 star location because it's close to the center, free parking space Conclusion: Eat - yes you can. Ultimately, I wouldn't book an overnight stay again because of the lack of breakfast. But that's my opinion!

The salad was very good and nicely prepared. The service was good and we were well served. I can recommend the restaurant.

We wanted to celebrate our engagement with 80 guests in this “Italian” restaurant. He told us two dishes that would be available to choose from on the day of the celebration. To make sure the menu met our expectations, we visited the restaurant and tried the two dishes and wanted to pay our deposit of €1000. Unfortunately we were seriously disappointed. The portions were extremely small and the boss charged almost 30 euros per portion for the celebration, excluding drinks, coffee, etc. When we politely asked him what the portions would be on the day of the celebration, he completely freaked out. He exposed us in front of all the other guests, became disrespectful, loud and rude. The food was an absolute disaster. The boss spoke of high quality food, but it was simply inferior. A cheap salmon was served and a dry zander fillet with no taste. The turkey breast was cheap and tasteless. He kicked us out of the restaurant and said that we couldn't have a party there, even though we just wanted to pay the deposit and discuss what the portions would be like. His behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, and the food did not live up to his lofty standards. He told us it would be better if we celebrated somewhere else because if someone said that the food wasn't tasty that day, he would throw all the guests out because that was part of his mentality. Fake Italians We'd rather celebrate at a real Italian restaurant ;) We can definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Essen echt lecker, aber die Zimmer sind nicht das gelbe vom Ei und die Fernseher gehören unbedingt erneuert die sind eine Katastrophe. War schon in verschiedenen Zimmern überall gabs Probleme mit dem Fernseher.

Good atmosphere, delicious food and clean toilets. We were there again and it was delicious again. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Had dinner here for the first time today and recently moved to Gersthofen. This will definitely be our new regular Italian restaurant. Food was super tasty and super fresh, prices were completely reasonable for the quality. Staff very very friendly. Gladly again.

Delicious food! Tagliatelleit green asparagus and truffles. Add Pinot Grigio. Dessert variation. Everything fine. Great service, nice atmosphere. My recommendation!

A wonderful place, and very kind staff.

We stopped at the restaurant on the way through. The pizza was very good: fresh, light, tasty and there was a lot of toppings. It wasn't oily at all - if you like that, you can add olive oil over it. Service was quick and friendly. The cutlery was able to cut the pizza very well (in other restaurants they are blunt). Very satisfied. We'll go there again.

Nice atmosphere, courteous and friendly staff. The food is very good, the children's dishes are great and my son was very proud of himself for finishing a whole plate. We recommend another visit here at any time.

I booked through Booking but I did not benefit from the stay because I arrived 10 minutes before the Check-in deadline but the door was closed, no one answered the bell and the phone and the next day I received the answer that "we have no rooms available, call Booking", they did not receive the reservation and confirmation of the stay from Booking, not knowing that I had to call to confirm...

I stayed here while my husband was at the hospital on the right side of the Isar in Munich and took the train to Munich every day (45 minutes). It was Oktoberfest and therefore there was no overnight accommodation in Munich, or not affordable Felt very comfortable here in the 5 days.

Warm, familiar, fantastic cuisine and great rooms at a very good price. The grilled calamari is to die for, including the serving. The restaurant is very good for sitting in the evening, and from spring the outdoor area will open, we will also take a look. Short walk to the town hall if you want to attend a concert there. There are parking spaces directly at the house, Italian Familia. Everyone helps, the service is friendly.

We went out to dinner with the family for Christmas Day. The atmosphere was inviting and the restaurant was nicely decorated. The pizzas here are really recommendable, the dough is nice and airy and light and yet not dry at all! My partner thought it was one of the best pizzas he has ever tasted. The meat dish and dessert were also very good. The prices are completely reasonable.

Average Italian - food ok, but nothing exceptional.

We had lunch at the restaurant on our way to Colmar France, so we did not spend enough time to really enjoy the place. The food was delicious - authentic Italian. And the service was great too.

Wir waren dort zum Essen. Service hat ewig gedauert um uns dann zu sagen daß das gewünschte Gericht aus ist. Dann wieder ewig warten um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen ( das Restaurant war nicht mal halb voll). Dann wurde serviert was fertig ist- die einen haben gegessen während die anderen zugesehen haben. Sehr unprofessionell! Alles in allem haben wir uns mehr von einem schönen Abend erwartet. Qualität des Essens war auch eher durchschnittlich aber mir persönlich hat es gut geschmeckt.

Ich war mit meinem Mann dort zum Essen, das Essen ist sehr sehr sehr lecker!! Es ist nur zu empfehlen. Der Chef bedient selber mit und auch die Angestellten bzw die Familie. Sie sind alle sehr freundlich und zu vorkommend. Preis Leistung ist auch super. Wenn ich mal wieder hier sein sollte, komme ich wieder hier her zum essen.

Wir waren wieder einmal im Restaurant um zu essen und es war wieder einmal sehr gut 👍 am Foto sieht man die Vorspeise " Baby Calamari auf Blattsalat " und es war sehr gut 👍

Schandalig gedrag van de eigenaar. Toen een mevrouw vroeg of het raam dicht mocht omdat het fris werd weigerde hij dit. Het is hier geen Kindergarten. Vele gasten reageerden verbaasd. Als het jullie niet aanstaat gaan jullie maar weg. Vervolgens deed hij nog wat extra ramen open. Overspannen? Hij belooft als gastheer een onvergetelijke belevenis, maar schoffeert zijn gasten.

Bei der Reservierung ist was schiefgelaufen. Statt wie per Mail zweier Doppelzimmer war für uns nur ein Zimmer reserviert. Da es aber nur noch ein Zimmer plus eine Suite gab, hatten wir aufgrund der späten Uhrzeit keine andere Möglichkeit, als die Suite für einen Aufpreis zu nehmen. Der Besitzer sah den Fehler nicht bei sich, obwohl anhand der E-Mails klar nachgewiesen werden könnte, dass wir zwei Zimmer reserviert hatten. Meiner Meinung nach wäre es angemessen gewesen, die Mehrkosten nicht dem Gast aufs Auge zu drücken, auch wenn wir als Entgegenkommen zwei Flaschen Wasser bekamen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Betten bequem. Aber auch das im Internet angebotene Frühstück gab es nicht. Von uns keine Weiterempfehlung aufgrund des nicht sehr höflichen Auftretens des Besitzers

05/2023 Sehr schöne Lokalität. Super freundlicher Service und leckeres Essen. Wir waren 7 Personen und hatten Vorspeisenplatte, Pizza, Lasagne und Burger. Alle waren zufrieden. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Waren zum 3. Mal dort eingekehrt wegen den Baumpflegetagen Augsburg und muss sagen das es wie die anderen Jahre auch alles super war. Und besonders das Essen. Bin jedes mal wieder über die Pizza begeistert da sie eine dünne und dabei leichtigkeit und Luftigkeit hat wie ich sie in De sonst noch nicht fand. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Das Restaurant ist schön hergerichtet, der Service klassisch italienisch gut und das Essen eben auch. Hier kann man nix falsch machen wenn italienisch essen möchte.

Sehr gute Pizza und tolles Ambiente. Der Chef selbst hat auch seine Runde im Restaurant gedreht und alle Gäste persönlich begrüßt und hatte auch Zeit für ein Pläuschchen. Das war sehr erfreulich und angenehm.

Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist mehr als ausreichend. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich hatte einen Salat, welcher optisch und geschmacklich wirklich super war. Die Portion war nur etwas klein für eine Hauptspeise. Aber sonst hatten wir nichts zu beanstanden. Der gratis Schnaps hat den Restaurantbesuch positiv abgerundet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Lange Wartezeit auf überteuerte Antipastiplatte. Gemüse aus dem Glas, Wurst und Käse vom Frühstücksbuffet neben dem ital. Schinken. Pizzabrot kostet extra fast 6 EUR. Hauswein mäßig.
