We drove there just to look through the window and see that the restaurant was permanently closed. There is a mattress in the hallway and the dining rooms are empty. Why is this nowhere?

We spent a wonderful evening at Federspiel, with great service and excellent food. The overall concept is simply harmonious.

Were on vacation in Augsburg and saw the restaurant and went there for dinner. The boss himself served us and was really friendly and the food was delicious. If we are in Augsburg again we will go here again to eat.

Meal together!!! Anyone who knows my reviews from this or my old account knows that I am 100% tough and honest. For those who don't want to read much, here's a short feedback and then a long one. Conclusion: 5 out of 5 stars for the food. It was fried to perfection and tasted like a real treat. 5 out of 5 stars for service. Polite and very well-groomed service staff who greet and serve you quickly and with a smile on their faces. 5 out of 5 stars for the location from the inside. Very nice mix of rustic and modern. Lighting is warm and inviting. 3 out of 5 stars for the location from the outside. In the dark without a navigation system it would have been very difficult for us as strangers to find it. The entrance wasn't immediately apparent either, but it's worth it once you find it. 😅❤️ We were there on 10/28/24. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly and had a free choice of seats. (Except where they were sitting, of course) The order was taken relatively quickly and then we waited eagerly for the food. The service employee was able to give me good advice when it came to my order. The meal took less than 20 minutes and looked really tasty. Beautifully prepared with salad, our additionally ordered champions and the most important “meat”. OMG, that looked good!!!!! I ordered a medium rump steak with a small edge of fat "450g". As usual, I squeezed it and the juice came out gently. When I cut it, my mouth literally started watering. Perfect and when I say perfect, I mean perfectly fried and seasoned. The price is worth it just for this steak. In terms of taste, it's a roller coaster ride that doesn't end. I felt happier by the second with the flesh on my tongue. A dream for every meat lover. For me it is in the “top 5” of the best rump steaks in Germany. The chef deserves a medal and a raise. 😉 I already told the staff on site. My colleague had a skewer with a side dish of champions, which also looked and tasted fantastic. After the meal there was a little chat with the employees and of course a tip for this breathtaking meal. It is definitely recommended and anyone who insists on a decent rump steak simply has to eat here!!!! We would like to thank you for this culinary delight and wish you all the best for the future. Curry mango sauce is very tasty, and the fried noodles are also highly recommended. Unfortunately, Peking soup is not recommended. It doesn't taste like anything because it lacks seasoning.

The food usually tastes very good and the portions are large. The beef has been a bit tough lately though. Nevertheless, the dishes are very tasty and filling.

Hello, After we first had to draw attention to ourselves, we got something to drink at some point. I ordered a kirschgois because everything tasted anything but good, totally bitter and after washing up liquid that happened quite often now, the last time I played billiards they took my deposit (driver's license). ) accidentally given to a stranger who didn't notice either. Today I gave a 20 deposit and got it back in coins, all small things that can still be forgiven somewhere. After 5 people tried my Goiß and they all said the same thing, I kindly pointed it out to the bartender and asked if he would please take it back and give me a bottled beer.
