Almost every kebab shop serves better food! The doner meat was greasy, the lamb chop almost cold, the chicken tough, the köfte dry, the tzatziki too garlicky and carelessly presented. Only the pide and flatbread were good.

Unfortunately, it's the same as its predecessor. It was really good at first. A year later, sadly, it's just average. The veal dürüm wasn't very good. The meat was too thick and not properly seared. Overall, it was very bland. From about halfway through the dürüm, there was just a greasy lump of cabbage. The filling wasn't evenly distributed. It's definitely not to my taste. What a shame!

I opted for the vegetarian plate with falafel and halloumi. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The plate contained only three small falafel patties and two very thin and small slices of halloumi (I think they were cut in half), and that for €16. Furthermore, the other ingredients on the plate, such as the grilled vegetables, were completely unseasoned. Overall, very disappointing. Perhaps one shouldn't make the mistake of ordering something vegetarian.

I'm from Paderborn. I said, "I went to ARAM Restaurant." It was recommended. Everything was fine. But the "Old man, do you give a salad to a customer?" remark was unpleasant. I would like to report on my visit to the "Aram" restaurant, which was unfortunately disappointing. The food was mediocre overall – the fries were soggy and slightly cold, the sauce lacked flavor, and the value for money was not right in our opinion. The service was also largely unfriendly and unpleasant. Only Mr. Eyüp was attentive and friendly – ​​we would like to express our sincere thanks to him. The rest of the staff unfortunately seemed disinterested and not very service-oriented. In addition, the atmosphere was very noisy and crowded, with tables so close together that it was difficult to sit in peace. It was particularly disappointing that our 20% voucher from the "Gutscheingenießen Augsburg" booklet was not accepted, even though the restaurant was still listed in the voucher booklet. I find this behavior very unprofessional and request that the incident be investigated.

The food is truly outstanding. We've been there several times now, and not once have we had any complaints. Because the food is so delicious, it's usually very busy. The noise level is a bit annoying, so it's deducting a star. The decor is welcoming, open, and truly cozy, completely different from other restaurants of this type. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Since we only recently discovered this place, I'm already looking forward to next spring/summer when you can eat outside again, where it will probably be a bit quieter.

The kebab was large, but unfortunately a little light on sauce. The fries were excellent. The wait was only three minutes. The price was completely reasonable. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. The quality of the meat was terrible – tough and tasteless. The staff was extremely unfriendly and showed no interest in the customers. Furthermore, the dishes I ordered were never brought, but were still listed on the bill. To me, this is nothing but a rip-off, especially the lady with short hair, who was a real rip-off, acts like she owns the place and just wants to rip you off. Anyone who values good food, honest service, and respectful treatment should definitely avoid this restaurant.

We've been to Aram a few times over the past few years, or rather, we've picked something up. Recently, I ordered a grill platter for 4 people. Then I was shocked to find out it cost €85. Unfortunately, I only noticed later that the online menu was outdated. It could have included a few more side dishes (fries or rice). But it's great that both were included, since the menu says "or." When I asked by phone, they initially said the menu was up-to-date, but then corrected it, saying it was outdated. By picking up, the store already saves on taxes (7% instead of 19%). It would be nice if some of it could be passed on to the customer. Individual dishes are cheaper (depending on the dish) than ordering a platter like this. The quality of the food and the appearance are top-notch. But please update the menu and prices. Next time, I'll get a doner kebab or durum for €7-8, and I'll be full. I'll be fair and give it 3 stars.

The quality of the food varies greatly depending on the day and time of day. I've been there several times now and sometimes the doner meat is good, sometimes it's cut much too thick and dry or it smells, a sign that the quality of the meat has been compromised. The bread is usually good, but if you're unlucky it can be cold, not baked well and, above all, small. This also applies to the distribution of the ingredients in the bread. We order four doner kebabs. Two have a lot of meat, two hardly any meat at all and the vegetables are either overloaded with little meat or tons of onions. Eating like that is no fun, especially if you're unlucky and get meat that's too thick and tough. The staff are inconsistent; sometimes they're really committed, other times they don't listen to you at all. Sometimes you wait 30 minutes to get the remaining three out of an order of five doner kebabs, and then the first two are stone cold. If you bring it up, you'll either get a shrug of the shoulders, or if you're lucky and have the right staff that day, you'll be instructed to redo everything, but then the proportions, as described above, are simply not right. So after numerous visits and repeated opportunities, we've come to the conclusion that we won't go there anymore. The quality fluctuates too often and a lot depends on the staff. It's a shame, but that's the case with most restaurants. They were very popular, and over time, profit and the number of customers who come in have become more important than regulars.

When I visited the Aram Restaurant in Gersthofen, I took a seat on the upper floor. This impresses architecturally with a generous glass front - visually appealing, but climatically problematic. The strong sunlight turned the room into a heat camp around 5-6 p.m. Air conditioning appears to be present, but was apparently not activated out of consideration for the ground floor freezing when switched on. An absurd compromise solution that has a huge impact on the guest experience. Food rating • Tavuk Kanat (Chicken Wings): Well seasoned and solidly grilled. Not a highlight, but satisfactory. • Sucuk Pide: A positive highlight – generously topped, very thin dough with a pleasant crunch. Aromatic and harmonious. • Adana Kebap: Unfortunately it was significantly oversalted, which spoiled the overall impression. Consistency and doneness were fine, but seasoning needs balance. • Vegetarian Platter: Unacceptable. Some of the potatoes were raw - a basic mistake in the kitchen. The salads were fresh but uninspired. • Grill plate (service adjustment): The request for a minimal change to the dish (despite the willingness to pay an extra charge) was simply rejected. Reason: “It just doesn’t work.” – a sign of a lack of flexibility and guest orientation. service Reserved, not very committed. The lack of willingness to even take individual wishes into account gives the impression that people are working here more according to formula than with a host mentality. Conclusion The Aram Restaurant has potential, but shows clear weaknesses in both the air conditioning of the dining room and the understanding of service. The cuisine delivers mixed results - from solid pide variants to failed vegetarian options. Anyone who values ​​flexibility, care and consistent quality could be disappointed.
