July 24, 2025 It was a busy evening, but the hostess (assisted by a young man) did an excellent job, serving everyone quickly and personally. The busyness didn't detract from the friendliness. Delicious food. It was so busy that people joined us at our table. Besides the fact that we appreciated this, they were also very kindly discussed with us beforehand. The restaurant has its own parking lot.

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's close to the highway. The portions are very generous and delicious. The staff is very friendly. The only problem is that they don't accept ATM payments, but the good food makes up for that.

Simply fantastic! We were in Augsburg for business and had lunch and dinner at the Heimgarten restaurant. A wonderful restaurant, reminiscent of the old days, when the world was still in order (please leave it as it is), with a super cozy beer garden. The staff was absolutely hospitable and friendly! The food was excellent! Top-notch value for money. We'd love to have a cozy, rustic restaurant like this at home!

Eine Einladung hat uns in den Heimgarten entführt. Die Gaststätte ist in der Ortsmitte und hat einen „amtlichen“ Parkplatz hinter‘m Haus. Direkt am griebigen Biergarten vorbei kommt man in die Gaststube. Diese gibt sich klassisch modern. Das Team vor Ort empfängt uns freundlich und verkörpert irgendwie einen ehrlichen Spass an ihrer Arbeit. Die Karte bietet eine gelungene Auswahl an gutbürgerlicher Hausmannskost, was mittlerweile schwer zu finden ist. Das Beste ist dann der Überraschungseffekt, wenn einem bewusst wird, das der ausgeschriebene Preis mehr als fair zur Portionsgröße ist. Und es schmeckt auch noch. Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Gastronomie. Hier ist eine Reservierung quasi ein Geheimtipp.

We found this restaurant through a Google search because we wanted to have a late-night meal on our way home. We were absolutely thrilled with the beef steak and roast beef with onions. I don't think I've ever had such a good piece of meat and such a juicy one. My mother's roast was a bit firm, but not tough. Overall, we were very happy to have such a good meal so late in the evening.

Quaint economy as we know it from before. Was there in the 90s. The food was delicious, the service was courteous, attentive and always in a good mood. The portion size is absolutely sufficient, so everyone will be full. Prices are reasonable (the supplement change for 80 cents should perhaps be reconsidered) Clear recommendation, would love to come back.

Nice rural restaurant, small menu but everything you need and at ferry prices. We had loins with spaetzle and hunter's sauce, very tasty. There was so much left that we ate it the next day. The other guests' dishes that we looked at also looked very good, I already have my choice for the next meal in mind. I'll be happy to come back.

Location for celebrations, parties and lectures. I enjoy being there, the operators are members of the club and put their heart and soul into it. As far as I know, you can rent the premises; drinks, bar and kitchen are in the house. It is not very modern but practical.

Turkey schnitzel is also very tasty, as is onion roast and pancake soup. We were here on Boxing Day with the whole family, the restaurant was filled to capacity. Service was very friendly and quick, no one had to wait long. Payment is made in cash. I can only say good things and fully recommend the restaurant.

Very small, cozy restaurant with a beer garden with good German cuisine. An onion roast to melt away and a very good price for everything on the menu that no other restaurant has anymore.

Onion roast is ordered medium rare but served completely through. It still tastes very good, and the cheese noodles as a side dish are also excellent. Beer garden is busy during the week at 5 p.m., completely full at 6 p.m. Reservations are not possible, so it's better to come in good time. Very friendly and attentive service. Parking no problem.

Down-to-earth Swabian...you don't find it that often anymore...we've been enjoying coming here for years...also every now and then with friends who visit us while passing through...the A8 Neusäß exit is less than five minutes away removed.

Down-to-earth Bavarian cuisine at absolutely fair prices. For normal eaters, the small portion is completely sufficient. I had a roast spaetzle soup and onion roast with cheese spaetzle, super tasty, the meat was tender, the spaetzle with lots of spicy cheese. The ambience is tavern style, but absolutely okay for a great Sunday lunch. Gladly again!

Es war sehr gut und hat viel spaß gemacht hier zu essen. Es hat gemundet und es war ein Gaumenschmaus. Ich gebe persönlich 9,99/10 da es einfach perfekt war aber diese eine kleine sache fehlt. Ich hatte lang nicht mehr sowas gutes.

Eine richtige Dorfkneipe und das meine ich im Positiven. Einfaches Essen sehr lecker. Wir gehen da immer wieder gerne hin.

Leider ist der Biergarten etwas heruntergekommen und das Zelt unappetitlich. Das Essen war gut aber die Messer waren stumpf.

Sehr gutes Lokal . Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal . Auch wenn ich leider von anderen Menschen lesen muss das sie nicht zufrieden sind. Manchmal dauert es halt länger. Urlaubszeit und Personalmangel das vergessen manche . Ich komme regelmäßig und gerne hier her , weil mir das Lokal und die Angestellten ein herzliches und willkommenes Gefühl geben . Überzeugt euch gerne selber . Vielleicht sehen wir uns dann 😃

Wir sind sehr häufig in dieser Gaststätte. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut , die Bedienung schnell.In der letzten Bewertung hat sich eine Dame beschwert weil sie über 1Stunde warten musste.Wir waren auch im Biergarten , und haben das mitbekommen. Wenn jemand später nachkommt, dann kann es in einem komplett ausgebuchten Biergarten sein, dass es länger dauert. Sich zu beschweren dass die Bedienung sich die Hände nicht gewaschen hätte , zeigt mir dass diese Gäste zum ersten Mal hier waren. Die Bedienungen haben an der Theke Desinfektionsmittel, und dieses wird immer benutzt. In diesem Fall habe ich selbst gesehen dass die Bedienung sich die Hände desinfiziert hat, und dann die Folie gebracht hat. Solche Unterstellungen sind eine Frechheit, aber im Anschluss noch die Bedienung zu beleidigen , Grund genug für mich zu sagen , hoffentlich kommen diese Gäste nicht wieder!! Respekt an die Bedienung , sie ist ruhig geblieben, ich hätte mir das nicht angehört.
