Tolles Restaurant mit frischen und abwechslungsreichen Speisen. Seit über vier Jahren ist es das Lieblingsrestaurant unserer ganzen Familie.

Es war wieder ein angenehmer und leckerer Abend. Heute war es etwas schärfer, liegt aber wahrscheinlich am Koch. Jedenfalls hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt, das wir haben wollten

Sehr lecker. Das all you can eat ist ein tolles Angebot um sich durchzuprobieren. Alles sehr schön angerichtet. Besonders toll finde ich, dass sich das Restaurant gegen Lebensmittelverschwendung einsetzt.

Ich gehe gerne beim Watami essen. Das All-you-can-eat lohnt sich meiner Meinung sehr. Es gibt immer eine große Auswahl, auch an Sachen die man nicht überall bekommt. Der Service ist immer schnell und die Gerichte sind immer sehr schön angerichtet und echt lecker. Ist den etwas gehobenen Preis echt wert.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit hervorragenden Service, Essen und Getränke. All-you-can Eat, auf dem Punkt zum Tisch gebracht. Exzellenter Fisch, Sushi und Kimchi, kombiniert mit exotischen Säften! Immer wieder gerne!

Wir waren absolut begeistert von unserem Besuch im Watami! Das Restaurant ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, und auch die Terrasse sieht super einladend aus – perfekt für laue Sommerabende. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten das All-You-Can-Eat-Menü und waren überrascht, wie schnell das Essen serviert wurde. Alles kam frisch und wunderbar warm auf den Tellern an den Tisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Sushi: Geschmacklich und optisch ein absolutes Highlight! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Es ist immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis. All-You-Can-Eat lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für Neulinge ist es manchmal etwas schwierig, die Portionsgröße bei der Tablet-Bestellung abzuschätzen. Alles so lecker, man möchte halt vieles probieren. Kann man bur uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Konzept ist wirklich gut. Man bekommt ein Tablet für die Bestellungen, daher muss man nie auf einen Kellner warten. Das Essen ist überwiegend sehr gut, nur ganz wenige Gerichte wie die Ente sind nicht ganz auf dem Level der anderen. Den Preis von 35€ am Abend finde ich in Ordnung.

Also essen war teilweise kalt und man hat uns nicht über die Preise informiert und sind am Ende auf fast 200 Euro gekommen unverschämt ist sowas wir haben all you can eat gemacht und man hat nichts über den Preis gesagt das man für jede Bestellung extra zahlen muss ist unverschämt ich gehe da bestimmt nicht mehr hin und noch was wenn man alle 10 Gänge macht kommt man auf knapp 350 € das kann ja nicht sein für kaltes wann und die meinsten Sache musst du nochmal extra zahlen und für Getränke wo Wässerig schmeckt geht da nicht hin für Gesundheit Müsst ihr wissen

Tolles asiatisches Restaurant. Beim All you can eat-Buffet wird über Tablets bestellt. Dadurch sind die Gerichte immer frisch und warm! Auch die Mitarbeiter und der Service sind echt klasse.

Bestellen mit Tablet ist ja ganz toll als Spielerei aber wer wirklich all you can eat haben will ist hier falsch! Teilweise kommen Gerichte aus der 3ten bestellung vor den Gerichten der 1ten bestellung. Wenn dann mal nach langem warten etwas zu essen kommt ist es kalt.

Immer wieder super lecker und toller Service! Hier kann man sich mit richtig gutem Sushi satt essen

Mussten trotz Reservierung 25 Minuten auf den Tisch warten, was ich bei einem Restaurant mit 2 Schicht-Betrieb definitiv nicht erwartet hätte. Das Essen kam in sehr unregelmäßigen Abständen, trotz Tablett wurden in der ersten Runde auch falsche Gerichte geliefert. Die Qualität würde ich als durchschnittlich bezeichnen, kein einziges Gericht stach besonders hervor. Trotz sehr schönem Ambiente kein Restaurant, in welches ich noch einmal gehen würde.

Auf der Suche nach richtig guten Sushi? Dann ist man hier genau richtig! Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Genügend Parkplätze.

Tolles Konzept mit der Bestellung über das Tablet. Gerichte sind lecker. Vereinzelt dauerts etwas bis einzelne Teilbestellungen kommen, was vermutlich daran liegt, das frisch gekocht wird. Reservierung ist erforderlich und bequem online buchbar. Schön auch mit Bahn zu erreichen, da der Bahnhof ca. 1 Minute Fußweg entfernt ist. Parkplätze in Hülle und Fülle vorhanden.

Sehr schönes und großes Restaurant. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Speisen waren gut und vielfältig, nicht super hervorragend aber für die Menge und den Preis (2 Stunden All-You-Can-Eat) mehr als nur gut. Auch die Auswahl ist top und die Geschwindigkeit, wie das Essen gebracht wird auch sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder 👍

Ķellner freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sushi war gut, aber die Rollen zu groß um sie in einem Happen zu essen. Ich fand es etwas zu kühl im Gebäude.

Freundlicher Service, kurze Wartezeiten, Ordersystem via Tablet vereinfacht den Ablauf und schafft zusätzlichen Spaß (v.a. bei Kindern). Es gibt für Kinder und Vegetarier Gerichte.

Ich hatte extra einen Tisch reserviert für einen gemütlichen Abend zu zweit. Wir bekamen einen zugigen Tisch unter der Treppe zugeteilt. Die Bitte nach einem anderen Sitzplatz wurde verwehrt. Wir sind dann ins Kurofune...dort wie immer authentisch japanische Küche auf bestem Niveau und eine herzliche Gastfreundschaft.

Schreckliches System mit Tablet, völlig unübersichtlich. Wird einem kommentarlos in die Hand gedrückt, als wäre man Stammgast. Die Bedienung des Tablets ist nicht intuitiv. Ein Teil der Bestellung kam an, ein Teil war doppelt und der Rest ging verloren oder vergessen. Was ankam, war sehr gut. Trotzdem: Unpersönlicher Service. Man muss schon in einem speziellen Mindset sein um sich da anzutun.Am besten dann gehen, wenns wenig Leute hat, dann kann man sich vielleicht das Tablet erklären lassen.

Es ist wie immer einfach sehr Lecker dort und schön es schmeckt sehr gut und frisch wird immer auch sehr schön angerichtet und man. Kann sich über das Service auch sehr freue da die sehr Höflich und nett sind nur weiter zu empfehlen

Leider wurde bei unserem letzten Besuch das bestellte Essen sehr unregelmäßig an den Tisch gebracht so daß viele Speisen erst teilweise zwei Bestellrunden später kamen (es wurden neue Runden bestellt da man auf Grund der Wartezeit vermuten musste das man vergessen wurde). Einige der bestellten Speisen wurden auch gar nicht gebracht. Der Geschmack des Essens war meiner persönlichen Meinung nach eher durchschnittlich ich hätte bei den Bewertungen definitiv mehr erwartet gehabt. Sehr ärgerlich war auch das nur zwei Mal während des Besuchs der Tisch abgeräumt wurde und sich somit das Geschirr stapelte. Alles in allem bin ich eher enttäuscht als begeistert.

Wir haben gut gegessen. Die Plätze am Tisch waren etwas eng.

Wir waren zur Mittagszeit ohne Reservierung da. Das Servicepersonal war sehr nett. Das Esser superlecker und wurde nach Bestellung schnell serviert. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Obwohl das Restaurant gut gefüllt war, war es nicht sehr laut.

I visited Watami just before the holidays. The reservation went well, and we got a seat for two. The tables were a bit too small, and the space was definitely too close to other, unfamiliar people, which made it difficult to be comfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing. Beautiful decorations, a beautiful ceiling... Food was ordered via tablet, which turned out to be very simple and enjoyable. You didn't have to walk around like at other buffets. The downside is the wait for your food, as the waiter delivers it personally – luckily, the wait isn't long. Juices and water were an additional charge... As for the food, there wasn't a huge selection. The sushi tasted similar and didn't have many toppings. The "ramen" we ordered turned out to be dry noodles, which was a disappointment. The noodles, aside from being fatty, had no flavor whatsoever. The only thing that impressed me was the ice cream. It was delicious! It had a very pleasant texture and a sweet, unique flavor. I would visit this restaurant again just for the ice cream.

Pretty cool, the food is really good. Unfortunately, it feels totally impersonal because of the tablet. It just doesn't have any special feeling.

We were there today for the New Year's Eve menu; as always, delicious food and super friendly service.

Everything was great! The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. They did forget one dish, but no matter, we ordered four courses with dessert, and the quality was truly excellent! The former KUKA building is fantastic (we sat upstairs) and, with its soft music and spacious layout, invites you to linger. Remember to reserve in advance! We've been there eight times since it opened, and nothing has changed. Highly recommended! 👍

Watami in Augsburg is simply the best restaurant we know. Always delicious, top-notch service, and you don't have to wait long for your food, even when it's busy.

I went there for dinner with my colleagues on November 28th, 2025. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the tablet ordering system to work at all. My tablet wasn't working properly that evening. I had to wait a very long time for the lamb skewers I ordered.

The food was, as always, superb. The selection is truly excellent, and this restaurant comes highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine. Ordering independently via tablet (iPad) is also very convenient, as you can constantly try new things… if you like it, you can order again… if it doesn't quite suit your taste, no big deal. You can pay according to the number and type of orders or opt for an all-you-can-eat option… you just need to mention it at the beginning. Service is based on the order in which orders are received. So, it's possible that not everyone will receive their food at the same time, but rather with a slight delay. It's not a big deal, though—it sorts itself out over time. I'm only deducting one star because the drinks had been sitting on the counter for quite a while before they were brought to us… but it was still acceptable. I find the ambiance a touch too cold… it could be a bit more inviting—hence the one-star deduction. ... I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, as my criticism of the service and ambiance cannot claim to be universally valid (and there is nothing to criticize about the food - quite the opposite).

Delicious food, the sushi was okay but the skewers and meat dishes were very tasty.

Really disappointed... the udon noodles were overcooked and tasteless – "with vegetables" apparently just meant spring onions and bean sprouts 😕 The beef skewer was bitterly burnt and tasteless, the food service was very haphazard, you can't really go wrong with fried food – prices are outrageous!!! I can't comment on the sushi, I didn't try it... the staff were very nice and friendly, really great – unfortunately, the same can't be said for the food! What a shame.

Watami in Augsburg-Gersthofen is always worth a visit. It boasts a special ambiance, plenty of space, and the food is consistently excellent! Once you get the hang of the clever tablet ordering system for the all-you-can-eat menu, everything runs like clockwork. Drinks arrive lightning fast, and you never have to wait long for your food after ordering – dishes that are supposed to be hot arrive piping hot, tables are cleared quickly, you always feel well taken care of, and the food tastes delicious! The all-you-can-eat option is perfect for trying a variety of dishes, and it's especially fun and a culinary delight for groups!

The staff is so incredibly friendly… unbelievably polite and attentive… I've rarely experienced such lovely service. The food arrives extremely quickly and tastes very fresh and delicious. 100% recommended! One small drawback… there's no salmon on the lunch menu… a real shame if that's still the case! I would have gladly paid more… but apparently that wasn't possible… although that was at least a year ago… perhaps they've changed it. The delivery time has been reduced from 10 minutes to 5 minutes now… I think that's fantastic!

We hadn't been to Watami in a long time. The restaurant was completely booked on both floors around 6:30 pm. The staff was very attentive, but unfortunately, we had to wait ages for the meat and side dishes. We even received some of the desserts while waiting in vain for our main courses. In short, you can't enjoy the food, or you lose your appetite because of the wait. It's a real shame... the quality of the food has also declined significantly.

Excellent value for money, the dishes are always something special. A great evening every time.

I think it's a shame that the food selection has been reduced; some dishes have simply been removed from the menu. For example, pan-fried salmon on salad or pan-fried tuna.

The buffet is great. You can try everything and it all tastes good.

We were there for a corporate event with about 20 people and had made a reservation in advance. The reservation process was straightforward and extremely pleasant. The attendees were thrilled with the food and service. We'll be back :)

It was delicious, as always! The only thing that needs to be changed is the soy sauce. Unfortunately, it's way too salty.

The acoustics could be improved. The lighting is too dim for me, except for the logo on the wall, which is glaring.

Three and a half stars!!! Has sushi and more...but not everything...It's a matter of taste...Food is always up for debate...If you like sushi, this is the place for you...It's right at the main intersection of the motorway and expressway in Gersthofen...In/near Hery Park...

We were there for the third time today and were incredibly disappointed. We (two families) took all-you-can-eat as usual. The selection of dishes was significantly smaller; now some dishes are offered with a €0.50 to €2.50 surcharge, even though it's advertised as all-you-can-eat. The portions are still quite small. Some of the food is cold or lukewarm, some orders didn't arrive, or they brought something that wasn't even ordered. Two hopelessly overwhelmed waiters hastily placed the food on the table, mumbling our corresponding letters as they passed. The tables were barely cleared, the dishes were piled up, and no one felt obligated to clear them. We had a vegan with us, and when she asked if there was a suitable dish, a waiter handed her a tattered flyer – there was no menu. The absolute shock came at the end, when we wanted to pay. It now costs €35 per guest, plus overpriced drinks and surcharges for individual dishes. The only highlight of the restaurant is ordering via tablet and the good sushi. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer good. It's a real shame; we won't be eating there again and unfortunately can't recommend it to anyone.

Very strange service; dishes within a round sometimes arrived 15 minutes apart, and we only received drinks after 20 minutes even though we had ordered with the first round. Prices were too high for the poor quality. The staff were nevertheless very friendly and polite. We got a table without a reservation.

We've been here at least 8 times now! Consistently great! Really good food, fresh, always something new on the tray, fast and very friendly! So 5*, with the small caveat that when the place is "full," the noise level is quite high due to the layout and architecture.

The variety of dishes is fantastic.

Bad ordering system. 4 people, 1 iPad. Food comes before appetizers! Per person! Everyone had to eat alone, what a pity!!! Unfriendly staff. We didn't understand the system and I was told that iPads are expensive and licenses are unaffordable! As if that were my problem! A shame for the evening and the money!

We went to Watami for dinner. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our selection was all-you-can-eat. You can always choose five dishes and then order again. The food was simply fantastic. Whether it was sushi, meat, fish, or vegetables. The desserts were also very, very good. We would gladly return.

We heard positive reviews about this place, but in reality the menu selection at you can all eat is modest. The sushi is so-so. There are too many spicy dishes. Even the ice cream is more sugar than ice cream. We won't come back.
