I didn't know it and then I was blown away. Food (venison) was simply great! The service is top! Ambience great! So everything is great!!! It wasn't the last time I was there.

We were in the very nice and cozy beer garden, as we often do. We had brawn, cheese and ham platter, very tasty and sufficient. Prices are absolutely right because you are served there and don't have to get it yourself. Staff very friendly and there is enough parking space. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. We always enjoy coming back.

The food was very good, but unfortunately our orders were forgotten several times. What is very interesting is the bird cage with various budgies

The peterhof is a very nice place outside and inside with very nice staff. What particularly caught our attention was a young brown-haired waitress who always served us very attentively. I would also like to say a lot of praise to the chefs, who always prepare the food to perfection. So far the peterhof has been one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of visiting☺️

A very good and perfectly located excursion restaurant for the family to eat and relax. The selection is very large, there is something for everyone on the menu. the service is Fast and reliable, even special requests are implemented, always with a friendly smile on your face. We were eating on a rainy Sunday, the place was very full, everything went well, we certainly won't be there for the last time.

Top food, great cuisine as always. Thanks to the whole kitchen team, the service staff are also top, we'll be happy to come back. Today I had dinner here again, top as always, I had the "roast suckling pig" and my wife had the "roast aspic", both excellent (it couldn't be better), attached photos of the food. By the way, the 2 service staff were simply “great” thanks for the good hospitality and a nice greeting to the kitchen. I can highly recommend this restaurant 🍴 to everyone, we'll see each other again next week. By the way, we had 2 ice cream sundaes at the end, great!! Today on September 8th, 2024 we were again in the Peterhof beer garden, just like last time, everything was excellent, the waitresses were all very quick and 😊 friendly, the food was great! This was our second time eating outdoors here. The food is very tasty, beautifully prepared and sometimes served on beautiful plates. Unfortunately, I'm writing this review because of the red-headed waitress who served us both times. We weren't greeted at the beginning and were only asked for drinks with a quiet "please". When ordering the food you felt the same reluctance and disinterest. In general, ordering a different side dish is not welcome and you immediately think that you have asked the wrong thing. It was also served with an unhygienic cloth around the lady's wrist, which did not stimulate the appetite. The fries were served with a tablespoon? No ketchup or mayo or salt and pepper were brought. However, we didn't ask because the food was great. Nevertheless, this should go without saying. During and after the meal we were no longer noticed or asked whether everything was okay or whether the food was tasty (same service). From what I've heard or seen from the other tables, I can guess the good reviews for the service that usually prevails. Of course, after checking out, the same service person didn't say goodbye to us. Unfortunately, we just felt like a source of income. The food and the ambience with a playground are very inviting.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff and very good food is worth the money

I was in the forest restaurant for the first time on September 1st, 2024 with three friends. A very nice beer garden under big trees and I can write that the service, the ambience and the dishes were very good. I am a repeat offender!

Whether for a Christmas party, birthday or as a couple, the food and service were always top. Here we focus on quality and you can taste it! South German classics and game dishes in particular are sensationally prepared here and are at the forefront in the region 👍

Had dinner today and made reservations at the restaurant. The weather was nice and we wanted to go to the beer garden with 17 people instead. The waitress was very friendly and helped us rearrange the tables. Despite the full beer garden, great service and very tasty food. Great new beer garden under chestnut trees. Doesn't get any better.

Positive: Unique ambience close to nature. Service friendly Negative: Unfortunately the food was poor. The onion soup for 6.20 euros was oversalted and a very small portion. The large salad with salmon for 17.80 with a lot of ready-made products (coleslaw, beans) without fresh tomatoes and far too much lettuce. The taste of the deer was unacceptable (fatty fibers and tough). The sauce also cannot be defined and has a weak taste. Probably heavily stretched packet sauce. Conclusion: If you were to offer reasonably acceptable quality food in this unique atmosphere, you would have a recommendable restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit just to have a drink (bike tour).

The simple meat dishes are highly recommended. In my opinion, however, the map can be expanded and is intentionally artificial. This restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians; when we visited there was only one vegetarian dish on the daily menu, which didn't convince us. Please make improvements here, preferably vegan. Our request was only taken into account on the second attempt, which is why we had to wait unnecessarily long. I don't think the warm food until 2 p.m. is ideal, but I think it would be much better until 2:30 p.m. But the location is very nice.

Nice location where there are some walking trails. After a nice walk, we stopped in to have lunch. There are indoor and outdoor seating. Prices on the menu are rather high though, comparable to city prices.

Nice restaurant with a quiet side room, which is often forgotten by the waitress. Schnitzel and fries were good, although the lemon was tiny because the kitchen didn't have any left in stock.

Good and clean kitchen, everyone can take a look through the window and see for themselves. All dishes are freshly prepared with care and attention to detail. Extra requests will be fulfilled as far as possible. The tables and chairs in the beautiful beer garden are generously sized and comfortable. We received a friendly welcome and the service staff was particularly charming without being intrusive. The sausage salad and the roast were excellent. Peterhof is an ideal excursion destination and also a stopover for everyone. Generous parking space. Entrance also suitable for wheelchair users. We'd love to come back.

Lecker Faire Preise Super Service

Ein super nettes Lokal. Gerade im Sommer mit schönen Kastanien Biergarten. Optimal für Radfahrer. Aber auch jetzt in der Winterzeit richtig super lecker zum essen hier. Familiengeführte Gaststätte.

Einziger Kritikpunkt, der Beilagensalat kommt aus dem Eimer. Ansonsten war das Essen super.

Einer der wenigen richtigen Biergärten in der Region mit leckerem Essen und super Service

Wir wussten leider nicht, dass es am Nachmittag nur kalte Küche gibt.

Die Rinderbäckerl mit Semmelknödel war sehr fein. Der schattige Biergarten unter Kastanien ist immer einen Besuch wert - auch der sehr freundlicher Service.

Fantastisch, wir waren auf dem Rückweg von einem Ausflug und haben den Peterhof vorher online ausfindig gemacht. Doe Rezensionen klangen gut, also fuhren wir zum Anschluss dort hin. Das Essen war sehr lecker, sehr reichlich, das Ambiente sehr hübsch, für unsere Kinder gab es einen kleinen Spielplatz zum Überbrücken der Wartezeit bis zum Essen. Wobei die Zeit von der Bestellung bis zum Service ganz normal war, obwohl sehr viel los war. Es scheint wohl ein Geheimtip dort zu sein, es waren sehr viele Einheimische KFZ-Kennzeichen dort. Die Preise absolut angemessen, und unsere Servicekraft war sehr angenehm und super gelaunt. Alles in allem ein wundervoller Abend und gelungener Abschluss eines schönen Tages. Danke, Peterhof 🌸

Kleines Juwel von Landgasthof mit hervorragender Küche. Wir hatten Wildscheinbraten mit Spätzle und Schnitzel mit Pommes, dazu jeweils einen Beilagensalat. Gegessen wurde im Biergarten des Anwesens im Schatten von Kastanienbaum und geschmackvoll bepflanzten Kübeln. Service war gut und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Da passt alles, sehr gutes Essen, toller Biergarten, gemütliche Innenräume, normale Preise und sehr freundliches Personal. Ich freue mich jeden Donnertag dort auf unseren Schafkopfabend mit vorausgehendem Essen- weiter so!

Immer wieder ein schöner Ausflug. Besonders für Kinder, Hasen und Katzen sind zum füttern / streicheln im Hof. Bei Extra Wünschen wird auf den Gast eingetragen. Bedienung freundlich und Parkplätze vor dem Eingang. Wenn man danach spazieren gehen möchte ist der Wald sehr nah. Es kommen auch viele Gäste mit dem Fahrrad oder Motorrad.

Ein Träumchen auf dem Lande. Tolles, schmackhaftes Essen und Getränke. Sehr gepflegter Landgasthof mit großem Außenbereich beschattet von grossen, alten Kastanien sowie Segeltuch.
