The staff is very attentive, friendly and quick. Food excellent. Price/performance great. Plus Augustiner beer. The garden could be made even more romantic. It's very nice with the river, even if it's in the backyard. We were very pleasantly surprised when we took a trip to Freising. We will come again

Great tapas restaurant with very tasty food and a nice atmosphere that suits Spain. Not cheap but the quality is worth the price. In summer you can sit outside and watch the goings-on on Freising's beautiful Marienplatz and enjoy the atmosphere.

Even though you had a reservation and the restaurant was empty, you were assigned the cat table on the wall of the house. If you would like to have another table, there will be wild discussions until you reluctantly get it. It's a shame... The other tables weren't reserved and the restaurant wasn't very busy in the evening to be able to justify this in any way. Food was good so far. It's a shame, I had really hoped for more.

Unfortunately, we had stomach issues after eating the dishes.

Lovely atmosphere with a varied menu and delicious food. Lots of vegetarian options with good recommendations.for sharing. Really friendly team, lovely to chat to and great service.

Der Kellner und gleichzeitig Inhaber war ein witziger und netter. Sehr offen und kommunikativ. Essen war sehr gut und auch preislich absolut in Ordnung! Die Portion war ausreichend groß - auch für einen Vielfrass. Wir waren Montag Abend. Locker Tisch bekommen. Danke ;)

We come here quite often as we stay close by. It's location is great. So if you are tired, after a week's shopping or if you are just too lazy to cook, this is a good option. The staff is friendly and food is good.

I have been visiting Schrödel's at irregular intervals since around 2015. I would never be disappointed! Years ago the prices were very high, but now that they have become significantly more expensive everywhere else, they are now only marginally above average. But Schrödel's cannot be compared with anything else and ranks leagues above all other restaurants, regardless of whether they are German or other cuisine. And not just in Freising but, in my opinion, in a much larger radius The boss, who is often mentioned here and sometimes seems a bit “harsh”, was/is always super correct, attentive and professional. "How to call into the forest..." I guess... You have to do the "job" for 30 years... 6 days double shift per week... Unfortunately we no longer live in/near Freising. I would like to have the restaurant in Landshut.
