We were only familiar with the noisy osteria in Augsburg on Bgm.-Ackermann-Straße. Hunger drove us here in Lechhausen, and we were thrilled! Architecturally well-designed – large, high-ceilinged rooms, a pleasantly modern ambiance – and not LOUD! We had a great time. A young man served us excellently; he could probably "read minds," as he brought out the pepper mill, spicy oil, and garlic oil without being asked, skillfully watched the tables, was immediately there, and took our orders in a relaxed, patient, and very pleasant manner. The bar is a real eye-catcher! We'll be back – no question.
It was truly horrifying. I had to watch the host insulting the guests at the next table. The guests dared to complain about this behavior and were then insulted even more and threatened. We left quickly.
The pizzas are incredibly delicious. The best delivery service nearby.
But unfortunately, the "opening hours" are awful. It feels like they answer the phone whenever they feel like it. I tried calling three times on Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and no one answered. And this wasn't the first time we called when they were supposed to be open and no one answered. Please get this under control.
I have no idea about the food because the guy on the phone told me I didn't care after waiting for another hour and canceled the order.
I've been getting a message saying it's supposed to be here for 20 minutes now.
The rudeness is beyond compare.
Never again.
If I were to give it 0 stars, it would be 0 stars.
We went out for dinner and had two pizzas. They were super, super delicious, as always.
Service was a bit sparse when we asked for our drinks after about 15 minutes, and all we got was a rude reply and an arrogant grin.
Unfortunately, despite showing them at the time of payment, no points were credited to our loyalty card... which is a shame, because we actually really enjoy going to L'Osteria.
A very good Irish pub right next to the Rotes Tor (Red Gate) and the Augsburger Puppenkiste (Augsburg Puppet Theatre). It was very busy that evening; there was a pub quiz on... the staff did a great job.
Ordered two dishes: Chicken curry over rice. The taste was mildly spicy and rather bland. Even though I asked for more sauce, the sauce was like orange oil with no taste at all. As for the Rollen, the curry was delicious but the price was too high for the quantity.
