We were a group of nine at the restaurant on New Year's Eve at 7 pm. When we wanted to order dessert at 8:32 pm, we were told that we could only get drinks because they were closing at 10 pm. An hour and a half before closing time?! What kind of service is that? That's a surefire way to drive customers away. I understand the staff want to celebrate too, but they should at least inform guests beforehand!
I was today and experience was really good . Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious burgers. I will definitely come back. The prices are reasonable, which is also important.
There were five of us. I had the Carpaccio di Monza and then the Saltimbocca a la Romana. Both were delicious, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, there was only a short wait. The main course arrived before I'd even finished my appetizer. The service was otherwise excellent and attentive. I'll definitely be back.
We arrived without a reservation, and the restaurant was quite full. The owner readily seated us. A very attentive server served us delicious Italian food, and the price was reasonable – highly recommended.
I have no idea about the food because the guy on the phone told me I didn't care after waiting for another hour and canceled the order.
I've been getting a message saying it's supposed to be here for 20 minutes now.
The rudeness is beyond compare.
Never again.
If I were to give it 0 stars, it would be 0 stars.
We ordered, and the bruschetta arrived on a pizza, which was burnt. The pizza calzone was thrown together without cheese. The other pizzas weren't very tasty either. When I receive polite phone calls and then aggressive behavior about it being a holiday and everyone ordering, and the boss tells me I'm sitting on the sofa while he's working, and that he doesn't care what I say because he's the boss, I don't find that acceptable and want to inform others about it.
I had reserved a table, and my friends arrived a few minutes early. Upon arrival, the receptionist reprimanded me rather rudely, simply because I briefly asked about my friends and whether the table had been "collected" and where it was. I was then told exactly what to say and was supposed to say only "reserved + name - end of story," just a standard response...what?? He should just put up a sign stating what can and can't be said, or he shouldn't be stressed about his job. A little flexibility would be great; I'm not talking to a robot, I'm talking to a real person. And I was there with an open mind, looking forward to your delicious meal.
After he finally told us our table was "downstairs," we sat there for 20 minutes alone, without any service – until it turned out that our friends had been shown upstairs by the same employee.
Furthermore, we were rather rudely informed that we had to leave two hours after booking. For an hour, we received neither drinks nor were we able to order anything. Thankfully, the service was very friendly later on, but the fact that the children's food arrived after the adults' was a real organizational blunder.
At least there was no pressure to leave on time in the end, but overall, the visit was disappointing due to the unfriendly service and poor organization.
Absolutely love the barman Cos who had everything a good irish pub barman should have.Charm, friendly and super attentive and very funny. The food was good and the atmosphere amazing even though quiet.
Excellent sports area in the middle bar that has all the sports you need.Look forward to going to the English quiz nights again also.Great craic and always fun.
All-you-can-eat food of the cheapest quality; it seems they've just set up the leftovers from the Edeka butcher counter. Furthermore, one of the servers was very rude and unhelpful when I inquired about a reservation.
