Was there on Sunday evening. According to the signs, the hot kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and the restaurant closes at 11 p.m. However, at 8:40 p.m. we were asked to pay because the restaurant would close at 9 p.m. Neither the call for the last round nor any other explanation for the earlier closing times are just an example of the generally very lackluster service. The roast was delicious, with a very good crust, unfortunately a bit dry at the end, like the pork medallions. Spinach cheese spaetzle and cheese spaetzle are outstandingly good! Unfortunately, spelled spaetzle has no taste and is dry. If we want to eat spaetzle here again, then ToGo.

The food is very good, unfortunately a bit expensive. On my last visit I felt a little pressured to order something even though I said my companion would be back in a few minutes. I was still asked 5 times what I wanted to order before my companion got back. I ordered an iced tea. This was served with berries and this type of iced tea is not available everywhere. It was clear that they didn't buy it but prepared it themselves. Years ago I also tried another dish and it tasted surprisingly excellent. Overall recommended as the food there is really good.

We spent our Christmas dinner there through the company. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. (Almost all colleagues) had mushy food and you really tasted like the kitchen wasn't really in the mood?! Unfortunately the service wasn't what you expected either. Whether for a dinner for two, a meeting with friends or a family meal – this restaurant impressed us across the board. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Today I visited the restaurant for lunch with a friend. It was relatively empty except for a party in the next room. After a short wait the drinks arrived. I ordered Maultaschen. After my friend got her lunch, my Maultaschen arrived 5 minutes later. The portion was plentiful but lukewarm. After another 5 to 10 minutes the warmed meal arrived. The ground meat mixture and sauce were very greasy. The taste suggested that the dish was not lukewarm, but had been stored for days? I think a visit to the health department is recommended. The familiar dish of turkey schnitzel with spaetzle was also very plentiful and edible.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, however the portions of two dishes that my companion and I ordered were a bit small. We went home hungry even though we don't normally eat much. Very nice ambience, super classy furnishings. Unfortunately the food lacked spice. In my opinion, the salad dressing was also bought, it was so sweet that I couldn't eat it. The vegan Maultaschen didn't taste homemade either, at least they were very bland. The potato salad was extremely cold. Generally the food was cold rather than warm. I was there for a birthday party. I had chicken with garlic spaetzle and it was quite good. In fact, I was hoping for more, especially with the spaetzle. Schöner Biergarten Wir waren mit der BVS-Weiterbildungsklasse zum Mittagessen hier. Das Essen war insgesamt gut, allerdings wurden einige Bestellungen verwechselt (z.B. Schnitzelvarianten). Mein Zwiebelrostbraten war nicht mehr medium, aber die Käsespätzle waren hervorragend.

Update September 16, 2024: Had a wonderful lunch with dessert today. Very nice service and everything received quickly. Unfortunately no original Coca-Cola, otherwise everything was perfect. Therefore changed from 3 to 4 stars. A good middle-class German restaurant. The selection is sufficient and the food is ok. The lunch menu cost 10 euros. There were enough places available. In my opinion, a reservation is not necessary. We sat in the indoor beer garden. When it started to rain, it dripped down the sides of us. After no one spoke to us, we sat down at another place ourselves. Addition: I just leave it on the receipt at home that a dessert is part of the lunch menu. I'm a little disappointed that this wasn't offered to us. I called and asked and was told that they had forgotten about it.

We were in the armory on a Tuesday and not only were we quickly seated with a small dog, we were also able to place our order very quickly and receive our food. The spaetzle variation was basically flawless, but more suitable for two people... So far too much for my wife😅 We left the shop happy and full and would be happy to come back on our next trip to Augsburg.

After a 3-week vacation in India, I had a Glanger like this with roast pork and a wheat beer sausage from another planet. Landed, drove to Augsburg, went home briefly and headed straight to the inn. The food tasted as clean as it was prepared. Plus an excellent Hasenbräu in the usual rustic restaurant with competent service in traditional costume.

The Armory is an attractive restaurant. When the weather is good you can sit outside under the chestnut trees. For dinner we had pancake soup, cheese spaetzle and the homemade Maultaschen, which I particularly enjoyed. Portion was also plentiful. The restaurant's toilets are in the basement, but there are also sanitary rooms in the armory that can be reached by elevator.
