A good middle-class German restaurant. The selection is sufficient and the food is ok. The lunch menu cost 10 euros. There were enough places available. In my opinion, a reservation is not necessary. We sat in the indoor beer garden. When it started to rain, it dripped down the sides of us. After no one spoke to us, we sat down at another place ourselves. Addition: I just leave it on the receipt at home that a dessert is part of the lunch menu. I'm a little disappointed that this wasn't offered to us. I called and asked and was told that they had forgotten about it.

When I read the reviews here, it seems like we were really unlucky. Unfortunately there was only the very reduced EM Special card and with the reduced selection probably also came the reduced quality. The restaurant is located in the middle of the city and yet is quiet and idyllic. Not the hustle and bustle like at Rathausplatz, for example. There is also a beer garden with chestnut trees, which is rarely found anymore. The food is good, home-style.

After a 3-week vacation in India, I had a Glanger like this with roast pork and a wheat beer sausage from another planet. Landed, drove to Augsburg, went home briefly and headed straight to the inn. The food tasted as clean as it was prepared. Plus an excellent Hasenbräu in the usual rustic restaurant with competent service in traditional costume.

The Armory is an attractive restaurant. When the weather is good you can sit outside under the chestnut trees. For dinner we had pancake soup, cheese spaetzle and the homemade Maultaschen, which I particularly enjoyed. Portion was also plentiful. The restaurant's toilets are in the basement, but there are also sanitary rooms in the armory that can be reached by elevator.

We sat in the courtyard next to the kitchen. As a large group we were among ourselves, which was ok. The staff was understaffed, so everything took a long time. As others have already described, the food was good, nice beer garden, but there were deficiencies in the service that I had never experienced in a restaurant before. Only one operator had the matter under control. The colleagues were probably not trained, didn't know the table numbers, or ran back into the kitchen empty-handed. One of these service staff brought a meal, four of which were ordered, to the table. We kindly asked them to bring some more cutlery. She then walked past the table three more times. We asked her again to please bring cutlery because the food was already getting cold. Then as she walked away she turned around again and barked at me in a loud and rude tone, saying that she had three more meals to bring and then she would bring the cutlery. Surprised by this way of dealing with guests, I simply replied: "But then please quickly!" This really freaked out the waitress and she refused to bring anything else to the table. Unbelievable - - - we will never be guests there again!

Cozy, well-kept restaurant with German cuisine. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the spaetzle. There were discounted offers. The desserts were also highly recommended. We'd love to come back :)

Good Bavarian cuisine with homemade spaetzle either as cheese/spinach/wild garlic spaetzle or as a side dish for roast pork, pork blend or schnitzel. In addition to browned meatloaf with fried eggs, there are also Maultaschen, salads and trout. Homemade Kaiserschmarrn for dessert? In summer there is space in the large beer garden, otherwise there are rustic pubs. The staff is friendly, changes to the side dish/sauce are possible. Arrival by public transport (Moritzplatz) or parking in the surrounding car park within walking distance.

Derzeit gibt es ein Special zum Jubiläum für 10 € auf alle Gerichte auf der Karte (außer Rind und Hirsch). Gemütliches bayerisches Lokal mit einem schönen Biergarten im Innenhof. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich, dass Essen - Deutsche Hausmannskost - sehr lecker. Keine großen Wartezeiten. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her.

Speisen in schönem historischem Gewölbe. Wir waren am 24.12. zum Mittagessen dort, da sonst kaum ein Restaurant in Augsburg noch geöffnet hatte. Das wichtigste: Das Essen war qualitativ hochwertig und die Speisekarte las sich durchweg sehr appetitlich, so gab es neben einer eigenen Spätzle-Seite auch eine saisonale Weihnachtskarte. Leider waren ein paar Optionen nicht mehr zu haben, aber das kann man 24.12. verstehen. Der Service war an sich freundlich, aber am Telefon wie auch am Tisch wurde selbst 2 Stunden vor Schliessung mehrfach resolut darauf hingewiesen, dass man aber um 15 Uhr wirklich schliesse heute! 😆 Wir waren dann also brav um 14 Uhr wieder draußen...

Wir hatten aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen eine hohe Erwartungshaltung. Leider wurde die nicht einmal im Ansatz erfüllt. Die Bedienung war neutral bis unmotiviert. Die Spätzle dreierlei zum weglaufen. Die Sauce war total einfallslos und wenig bis ungewürzt. Die Sauce schmeckte nach irgendeinem Schmelzkäse aus einer Riesendose. Der erwartete echte geriebener Käse ist wohl zu viel Arbeit für diese Küche. Die dreierlei Spätzle kamen nur mit der "Pampe", einmal mit untergerührtem Bärlauch und einmal mit untergerührtem Spinat. Zum Glück gibt es ja die Viktualienhalle, Da stimmen Preis und Leistung. In den Zeughaus Stuben ist man weit davon entfernt. 😩

Leider wurden wir beim Angebot "Glühwein mit Strudel nach Wahl" beim bestellen NICHT darauf hingewiesen, daß es sich nicht um die Wahl des Gastes sondern um die des Lokals oder Kochs handelt. Erst beim bezahlen kam dann der Hinweis des Kellners, daß wir ja selbst die Strudelsorte ausgewählt hätten.

Trotz Weihnachts Stress und komplett vollem Lokal Essen sehr schnell gekommen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder.

Soweit alles in Ordnung, Räumlichkeiten sind etwas steril. Essen durchschnittlich gut. Service sehr freundlich.

Das letzte Mal als ich hier war, ist bestimmt schon 10 Jahre her. Das Café ist gemütlich, sehr nette Bedienung. Hier gibt es nicht nur Kuchen, sondern mega leckere 😋 Tappas.

So ein Wirtshaus in der Augsburger Innenstadt in dieser Lage könnte eine Goldgrube sein. Der Pächter ist leider nicht sehr anerkannt, weil es auch in anderen Lokalen unter seiner Hand in Augsburg Kritik hagelt. ich wollte mir selber mal wieder ein Bild machen. Das Lokal am Sonntag Abend zur besten Essenzeit schon halb leer. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Ich dachte mir bei einem Biergartenburger kann man nicht viel falsch machen. Von wegen. .... eigentlich ist es eine sehr nette Idee, so ein abgebräunter Leberkäse mit Krautsalat in der Laugensemmel... aber die Scheibe Leberkäse war sehr geschmacklos und fest, einfach kein guter Leberkäs. und die Burgersoße schmeckte auch nicht ... die Laugensemmel war lätschert. ich hatte Hunger... aber echter Genuß sieht anders aus. schade.

Wir mussten trotz vorbestelltem Essen über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten. Das Bezahlen hat auch sehr lange gedauert. Das Restaurant war voll, nur 2 Kellnerinnen ...

Das Essen war katastrophal, die Rehkeule war verkocht, der Semmelknödel war super hart und der Wirsing versalzen. Super schlechte Qualität, nicht zu empfehlen.

Wer Spätzle gern isst ist hier falsch. Wir haben kaum was vom Spinat und dem Bärlauch geschmeckt . Die Spätzle waren fad . Von der käsesosse waren wir ebenfalls enttäuscht, von 3 käsesorten keine Spur. Die heisst Schokolade fiel geschmacklich ebenfalls durch. Die Getränke kamen kurz nach dem Essen. Preis und Leistung Himmelweit voneinander entfernt. Das servicepersonal war freundlich und kompetent.

Einfach super, unkompliziert und trotz einer Messe in der Stadt bekamen meine Gäste und ich noch einen Tisch. Das Ambiente ist extrem schön und mehr als Barock. Dennoch gibt es einige moderne Elemente und es ist dadurch wirklich gemütlich und einladend. Alles wunderbar und ein echt bayrischer Laden. Service ist extrem aufmerksam, schnell und super freundlich, die hohe Kunst, dabei nicht aufdringlich zu sein, wird hier auch perfekt beherrscht. Das wohl wichtigste, das Essen: verschiedenste Gerichte, alle waren absolut hervorragend! Persönlich hatte ich das Bauernreindl und war super angetan. Auch die Ente war ein richtiger Genuss, ebenso die Tafelspitz Fraktion und die vegetarischen Maultaschen wurden in Rekordzeit verspeist und als überaus köstlich empfunden. Ein super Abend also, absolut empfehlenswert.

War hier sowohl zum Abendessen als auch Mittagessen und war beide Male sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und auf Zack, kein langes Warten. Ebensowenig langes Warten auf das Essen. Sehr guter Geschmack und gute Auswahl an Brauhaus-/deutscher Küche. Die Portionen sind reichhaltig und frisch. Die Auswahl an Bier und anderen Getränken ist sehr gut. Schöne Atmosphäre in einem historischen Gemäuer.

Guter Ort für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt in Augsburg. Gutbürgerliche Küche mit schwäbischen Spezialitäten und schmackhaftes Bier in historischer Gaststätte ist etwas besonderes.

Wer offensichtlich konstruktive Kritik nicht zum Anlass nimmt, besser zu werden, sondern lieber versucht durch rechtliche Schritte die negativen Bewertungen loszuwerden, hat sich nun auch redlich meine Bewertung verdient. Wir waren mit insgesamt 5 Personen in der Zeughausstuben im Sommer und eigentlich jeder war mit seinem Essen unzufrieden. Eine Freundin hat sogar Ihr Essen komplett zurück gehen lassen, wurde zur Kenntnis genommen aber sonst nicht weiter beachtet. Interesse war nicht wirklich vorhanden.

Ich war schon oft hier beim Essen und eigentlich immer zufrieden- das hat aber stark nachgelassen in jeder Beziehung- das Essen war teuer und hat nicht gut geschmeckt, es war nicht gut gemacht- ich habe es leider durchs Fenster gesehen : es wurde aufgewärmt und Fertigprodukte verwendet, das ist Schade!

Das Essen war wirklich lecker aber die Mix Getränke ob mit oder ohne Alkohol waren nicht gut. Viel zu viel Eis und geschmacklich anders als üblich. Ich liebe Aperol spritz aber der war mit Abstand der schlechteste, dazu kommt der Strohhalm aus Pappe 🥴

Super Spätzle im eine schöne Biergarten- unsere anreise hat sich verzögert aber die Bedienung hat uns trotzdem noch gutes Service angeboten und wir haben ein schönen spät abendessen im Biergarten genießen können. Richtig leckere Schweinebraten, beste Spätzle die ich je gegessen habe und gutes Bier. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
