Das Riegele Wirtshaus gehört für mich zu den schönsten Wirtshäusern in Augsburg. Ob zum Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Abendessen – hier findet man zu jeder Tageszeit eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Besonders schön ist der Biergarten unter den großen Kastanienbäumen. An warmen Tagen sitzt man dort wunderbar entspannt und kann das besondere Ambiente genießen. Freundlicher Service, gutes Essen und die traditionelle Atmosphäre machen jeden Besuch zu einem Erlebnis. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung. Mit freundlichen Grüßen David J. Woods

Das Riegele in Augsburg in 3 Worten: EINFACH NUR PERFEKT Wer auf Brauereikunst, tolles Ambiente und gutes Essen steht, MUSS hier mindestens einmal einkehren. Dazu ein top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Mein Tipp: Eine Flasche Michaeli ordern. Sagenhaft lecker! 😋

Sehr schöne Location, sehr freundliche Bedienung, mussten den Zwiebelrostbraten leider aufgrund mangelnder Fleischqualität zurückgeben Reklamation wurde sehr gut bearbeitet

Richtig schönes Ambiente zum verweilen...Sonntags ist es schön ruhig ,in der Woche rappel voll Daher auch etwas lauter.Respeckt vor dem Service...keine 10 min und das Essen war da und hat echt lecker geschmeckt

Die Portionen sind wirklich ein Witz gefühlt 5 Gabeln Käsespätzle, wer soll da bitte satt werden, hab leider kein Bild gemacht. Aber geschmacklich gut.

Der Laden ist einfach klasse. Qualitativ gutes Essen und die Biere 🍺 sind wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist absolut super.

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die große Auswahl an hauseigenen Bieren – für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei, und alle Sorten, die ich probiert habe, haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Das Personal war durchweg aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente ist eine gelungene Mischung aus urig und modern. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen ein und schafft einen besonderen Charme. Besonders schön ist auch die Außenterrasse. Obwohl sie direkt an den Gleisen des Hauptbahnhofs liegt, stört das überraschenderweise überhaupt nicht. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit hervorragendem Bier, gutem Service und einer einladenden Atmosphäre. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Man sitzt dort schön im Außenbereich, wenn auch in der Nähe der Gleisen (was aber nicht wirklich störend war). Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Getränke und das Essen waren sehr lecker.

Hier gibt es immer wieder gutes Essen und gutes Bier 🍺 🍻

Ich habe eine wirklich schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Ich möchte nicht darüber schreiben.

Nach vielen Deutschlandbesuchen war dies das erste Mal, dass ich Schweinshaxe und Schweinebauch gegessen habe, die nicht so salzig waren. Das Sauerkraut war ebenfalls köstlich, nicht so ein übermäßig saures Zeug wie im Supermarkt. Das dunkle Bier war hervorragend und süffig. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren wirklich begeistert! Als erstes waren wir im Biergarten und beim gehen haben wir das Wirtshaus gesehen. Natürlich konnten wir nicht widerstehen :). Wir waren vom Essen bis zum Bier mehr als zufrieden!

Sehr schönes Brauhaus, genau wie man es sich vorstellt. Service freundlich und flott. Das Essen allerdings ist seinen gehobenen Preis nicht wert. Rostbraten und Wiener Schnitzel waren zäh bzw. trocken, Kartoffelsalat ein Fertigprodukt und die Apfelküche ebenfalls nicht frisch zubereitet (wurde auf Nachfrage bestätigt). Dazu sind die Portionen sehr übersichtlich. Da sollte das für meinen Geschmack schönste Wirtshaus in Augsburg dringend ein Auge drauf haben.

Superfreundliche Kellner, gutes Essen

Alles gut und brauchbar. Ist aber sehr auf Biertrinken ausgelegt. Die Portionsgröße ist ausbaufähig. Mittagstisch ist unter der Woche full house. Die Kässpatzen kann ich aber leider nicht empfehlen. Waren trocken und wurden in einem Blechnapf( Servierpfanne) gebracht. Haxn sah gut aus.

Ein fantastischer Ort mit tollem Bier, ich kann einen Besuch dort nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch! Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt hat. Auch kulinarisch hat das Restaurant überzeugt: Die Speisen waren hervorragend zubereitet, geschmacklich ausgezeichnet und mit viel Liebe serviert. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Qualität und Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben werden. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Ich könnte jeden Tag dorthin gehen. Eine richtige deutsche Kneipe.

There was a discussion about beer. That's really cool! The pub was lovely, and as expected, the food was delicious: roast beef with onions and then fries with truffle mayo.

A typical Bavarian beer hall, but very large and crowded, therefore a bit noisy. Riegeler Weissbier tastes just as good as the roast pork. The waitresses are attentive, friendly, hardworking, and fast.

A cozy white sausage meal in a fun group around a round table - there are better white sausages.

Wortshais is known for its brewery and offers many different types of beer. It's cozy and the food is very good.

The food was mediocre at best. The pressed chicken, for example, had clearly never seen a pan and arrived ice-cold. Fresh, good food should be something else entirely. A real shame for such a tavern...

Absolutely wonderful, absolutely fantastic, absolutely delicious, absolutely lovely... there's nothing more to say... except: the steak tartare is probably rarely ordered, which is why the rye bread in the bag was already quite hard...

Beautiful brewery and delicious beer. Unfortunately, the food was not good. Tasteless, ready-made sauce, bad dumplings, the roast pork was okay. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were very dry and not particularly good, the fried onions were also dry and tasteless. The salad was okay. Overall, the food was disappointing, a shame for such a nice location.

I didn't have a reservation and had to sit at the bar. The food was standard, but the beer was excellent. I recommend making a reservation.

The food varies greatly depending on the time of day and the chef. Sometimes it's phenomenal, other times just okay. Overall, though, highly recommended.

We stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon and although we had no reservation, they accommodated us with seating at the bar. The location is so cosy, we decided to stay for dinner as well. Mostly frozen food, carelessly thrown onto the plate. We tried several dishes, all below average. The spaetzle were too dry, the frozen fries lukewarm, the pork knuckle tough and dry, the gravy watery, and the schnitzel not crispy. Cafeteria quality at premium prices.

We had a reservation, but unfortunately, it didn't reach the restaurant. We don't know what the problem was, and they couldn't tell us either. We came from Dortmund and were looking forward to a nice evening. The restaurant was full, so we had to leave. It's a shame; it was great last time!

I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday here and had reserved a table three months in advance, specifying that I wanted a quiet table. Upon arrival, we were more than disappointed: six screaming children, a father changing his child's diaper at the table (which was beyond disgusting), and complete chaos among the staff. The food was a disaster; we had Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) that were lukewarm and a Wiener Schnitzel that was supposed to be one. This birthday was a total flop for us, hence the low star rating.

We were there for dinner in a large group – the drink selection and service were very good. Unfortunately, ordering the food took an incredibly long time. I have no idea why drinks and food are handled completely separately – but the quality of the food more than made up for it. It just takes a while!

A cozy, traditional restaurant. The food was quite tasty, but the portions were a bit too small.

That was awful. I ordered the vegan curry as my main course, which consisted of 4 tablespoons of cooked rice and about 6 tablespoons of sauce. An absolutely tiny portion for a hefty €14.20. I mentioned this directly when they cleared the table, but unfortunately, I wasn't offered a refill, coffee, or anything similar, as is customary in a good restaurant. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.

A nice Bavarian Brewery Pup, close to the Tram line 6, not far from the Hauptbahnhof. The Brewery is at the same location, but not in the same house. Had a tasty good 'Zwiebelrostbraten' - Roast beef with onions (-Hey, sounds better in French, Rôti de boeuf aux oignons. Am I right?) As my first beer here, I started with 'Comerzienrat Riegele privat'. A hoppier Helles, delicious. Then a Bavaria Ale, - a dry Ale with a Bitter flavor (of a Sourbeer). A good choice! Then ordered a botteld 'Amaris 50',thought it's a IPA, but was dry Pils with higher bitterness, liked it. Finally got a IPA. 'Simco 3'. Good, but for me not a highlight. Dry, decent flavor, good for finishing the day with another one. Finally, ask for a Brewery - Tour. They show all - from the roof to the ice cold cellar. A very informative tour. If early enough you can book the Tour with special Bavarian food.

A great brewery, and the portions were just right for us women. We had a lovely evening. Everything just felt a bit rushed. The food arrived very soon after we ordered and wasn't particularly hot. The Kellerbier (cellar beer) was delicious, and the cranberry cocktail was also very good.

Even though we were only there for two beers and a toddler, it was lovely. Great play area and great beer 🍻

Nice place, but the service was overwhelmed and it took way too long to get a beer. The food, on the other hand, arrived quickly and was good. Next time I might do a guided tour with a snack.

First, we waited about 20 minutes before we were even allowed to order, then, for whatever reason, we couldn't order the food right away. So, we had to wait another 20 minutes before we were allowed to order our food. I had cheese spaetzle, and firstly, the portion wasn't that big, and secondly, it wasn't particularly good. Cheese spaetzle in Swabia is different; the ones here were dry, with overcooked fried onions, and they simply didn't serve the small side salad. We only received a full €2 off when we pointed it out; otherwise, they would have simply ignored it. The ambiance is quite cool, but I wouldn't go there again; there are much better restaurants in Augsburg.

Honestly, it couldn't be better for a family get-together, with six children under 10, and the rest spread out among those over 30 and over 60. The service, seating, and hospitality were top-notch. Of course, depending on your taste, there could be a few things that could be improved... but "de gustibus non est disputandum" (de gustibus non est disputandum). The 100% represents the harmonious five-pronged balance of location | seating | child-friendliness | cuisine | service at the Riegele Wirtshaus. Thank you!

I visited the Riegele WirtsHaus and can highly recommend it. I drank a couple of pints of Comerzienrat Riegele Privat beer and ate a pork roast with potato dumplings. The beer is excellent, and so is the pork roast with potato dumplings. The prices are reasonable and not overpriced. It was quite busy, as it was Saturday afternoon and there was a Bundesliga match on that day. Despite it being really busy that day, I was immediately offered a private seat. So, if you come alone, you can always find a seat at the Riegele WirtsHaus. The service was very friendly, courteous, and cheerful. You do need to allow yourself a bit of time, as the waiters were very busy. It does take a few minutes to get your beer, but that's normal with such a large crowd. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. I would 100% recommend the Riegele WirtsHaus. I would gladly go back.

The Riegele is one of the best breweries in and around Augsburg. The beers are delicious and award-winning. The food is home-style and delicious. The ambiance is very pleasant, with its wood and hall flair.

The traditional Riegele Brewery is a brewery with a passion for craftsmanship. The brewery tour is interesting and demonstrates that the brewery is a family business. The food is delicious, and you can sample the beers, which you can take home from the shop. Everyone here is very attentive and friendly and supports the brewery. Excellent!

Got off a long train and need a beer and food, spot is super close to the station. We were told all tables were reserved in an hour but we told them we'd be there 30-45 min and they kindly sat us. Was very pleasantly surprised to see Simcoe and Mosaic hops on the beer menu--I asked for the closest thing they had to a hazy (Bayerisch Ale I believe), it was delicious. I asked them about any vegan options for food, one already indicated on the menu and they also offered a salad. Not many vegan options but still a very communal feeling place. Would go back next time I'm Augsburg!

There is Wi-Fi, the atmosphere is great in the morning, the food is delicious, and you can come here often.

All in all, good, homely fare, good food, and a pleasant atmosphere in the fireplace room. The only sad thing is that the accessible restroom, while modern and very nice, was outside, all the way around the building, even though a doorway from the souvenir shop was already built in. For people with disabilities, it was a real ordeal. Only after asking and being shown an easier route by the second server were we shown an easier route. However, it's still not barrier-free and not accessible for wheelchair users (the regular restroom is in the basement). In conclusion, locking is fine, but only for healthy people.
