Das Restaurant und auch die Terrasse sind modern und gleichzeitig traditionell / Rustikal. Optisch hatte es uns schon einmal sehr angesprochen. Die Servicekraft war schnell und freundlich. Leider wurden unsere Erwartung bzgl. der Getränke und auch dem Essen aber nicht erfüllt. Das Schnitzel war an mehreren Stellen noch nicht durchgebraten und die Käsespätzle sind leider sehr trocken gewesen 🙁

Urige Wirtschaft, in schönem Ambiente mit einem großen Angebot an Bieren. Leider ist auf kulinarischenm Gebiet noch Luft nach oben. Der Schweinsbraten war lauwarm, sehr fettig und die Soße keine große Kochkunst. Das Brotzeitbrett war qualitativ für über 17 Euro nicht sehr hochwertig. Die Bestandteile waren alle Billigprodukte, das Brot trocken. Es hat relativ lange gedauert bis die Getränke kamen, der Service war sehr gechillt. In solch einem Traditionslokal erwarte ich mir auch kulinarisch mehr. Das war leider nur Durchschnitt. Schade

How should I put it? The top dog, and then they don't make a fuss about it. Completely unambitious service. Yes, I'm sorry it's a Saturday, but I haven't experienced anything like this in a long time. Truly bad service. And, quite honestly, a children's play area in a pub, deadly. Screaming children the whole time. We actually wanted to eat here, but this pub doesn't deserve its name. Once and never again!

The best part is the ambiance. The staff was completely overwhelmed by the number of guests, which made everything rather chaotic. And the quality of the food doesn't match the prices. It's a shame. And to only reimburse the restaurant for an hour of parking in their own parking lot for a very large group and a large bill is a disgrace!

I can recommend the Riegele Brauhaus. The only thing that bothers me is the noise when it's full. This restaurant isn't high on our list.

Hello, due to the high demand, you have to order your next drink as soon as you get your first one, otherwise it can be a dry evening. Although the staff always try their best.

The ambiance is really great. The beer is also highly recommended. The service was initially quite quick and friendly. I had the roast pork, unfortunately without a crust, just two thin, tough slices. The dumplings were also rather so-so. The Kaiserschmarrn (for our child) was simply too small for the price, and it arrived about 15 minutes later than our meal.

You can sit right in front of the brewery. There are tables and chairs, but you have to get the beer yourself (from the shop). You pay the regular price per bottle, not the €4.90 you'd pay in a beer garden. You bring the bottles back to get the deposit.

Beautiful ambiance, but extremely loud. In my opinion, soundproofing measures are urgently needed here. The food and service have deteriorated.

Beer from the Riegele Brewery is definitely a premium beer! No ifs, ands, or buts!

A very nice brewery restaurant with a large selection of different beers and good food. We especially enjoyed the terrace in the bright sunshine. One small downside: The "brew specialties," especially the Simcoe 3, have lost a lot of their quality. I won't be drinking it anymore.

We had a generally very pleasant evening on the sun terrace. The quality of the food is fortunately back on a higher level. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. Unfortunately, the generally friendly lady was more concerned with her personal strutting than with showing attention. The new pricing is also noteworthy.

The two of us went to eat at the Riegele Wirtshaus. Let's start with the negatives. The food was OK, but nothing more. I had the pork knuckle with dumplings. This good piece could have used a little more time in the oven. It was hard to pull off the bone and was therefore tough. The rind, advertised as "crispy," was unfortunately quite the opposite. A generous helping of cabbage would have also benefited the dish. Now for the positives. The service is super friendly and accommodating. The team was always in a good mood, even during the stressful times. The ambiance is also great. Traditional elements mixed with modern touches. There's nothing to complain about here. And finally, I have to praise the beer. What you're cooking up is truly amazing 😊

A beautiful and very centrally located location. Despite being close to the main train station, it was pleasantly quiet and, contrary to expectations, parking was no problem at all. Unfortunately, the service took a long time to arrive and then the orders were mixed up several times. The tartare as a starter was unfortunately over-seasoned and yet very far from a real tartare, and the two tiny slices of bread were also clearly not enough for the considerable price. The starters and main courses came at completely different times. The onion roast roast, which was ordered medium, was completely raw and after a note to the service, it was brought back to the kitchen to be served raw again. It's also a shame that it's not a given that you don't simply fry the piece of meat twice, but then have to explicitly request new meat. You are also looked at strangely. Overall: Location is nice, the rest today is actually underground.

If you are ready to eat out for higher prices in good quality but with small portions and a quickly manageable selection of different dishes, you have come to the right place.

We have been here about 4-5 times a year for several years. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has become worse and worse, but the price has risen significantly. Today was the last visit. The cheese spaetzle had almost no cheese and unfortunately didn't taste good at all. We also told the waitress that we were not satisfied. However, due to the high occupancy of the inn, I doubt that the management would be interested. In any case, I will avoid the inn in the future.

To my great regret, the quality of the food has deteriorated greatly. My original Wiener Schnitzel was chewy and the portion was very small for almost €24. I've gotten a much better quality schnitzel with fries in canteens for under €10.

Very nice service and great atmosphere. Unfortunately the food isn't anything special. Price/performance are simply not good. Really mini portions. For a beer, that's very good, but I won't eat there anymore.

Nice atmosphere, good service, but potato salad from a bucket just doesn't work. And if it's fresh, then at least it tastes like it's straight out of a bucket. The main thing is to offer veal patties and Wiener schnitzel, but then serve the potato salad in a bucket, no understanding at all. Even the fried onions are thinly sliced ​​and probably homemade, but in the Bavarian pub there is no longer enough for a fresh potato salad.

We googled it and went to eat here based on the reviews. +The ambience and atmosphere are really great, just great 👍🏻 +Staff is very nice, competent and fast👌🏼 + Prices are really ok👍🏻 - In terms of taste, "WE" were rather disappointed, in the middle of the pack. The hipster brewpub in Augsburg. Objectively everything is okay, but somehow everything is too new, cool and chic for me. But that is of course a matter of taste.

Excellent pub, well furnished, very well managed, with friendly and competent staff. The beer is naturally very good and offered in numerous varieties.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn't match the actually nice ambience. Price for a small Kaiserschmarrn with 6 or 7 pieces for €11.90 and not in a pan as stated, but on a high plate. The side salad was nice and the sauce for the spaetzle was rather so-so. It's a shame actually.

Reservation in advance is recommended. Food was good and tasty. Service very nice and accommodating. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The fresh horseradish with the smoked trout was dry and absolutely tasteless. The bread had to be requested separately, the napkins were missing and had to be requested, the meat loaf was raw inside, the mustard was missing after the complaint and had to be requested separately..... Disappointing across the board.

There were several people, beer and cyclists are delicious but the food still has potential. Unfortunately the starter wasn't served, the kitchen apparently couldn't manage that, food came very quickly, meat patties were unfortunately lukewarm, schnitzel had more breading than meat. Service was okay, seemed a bit annoyed. Too bad.

Very curious place with good beer and excellent food

Ordered onion roast on April 13th, 2025, according to the menu it was supposed to be from the sirloin. Unfortunately it was made from a cheap piece of beef and therefore not as tender as loin. The taste of the food was good, but something like that shouldn't happen where the chef mixes up the pieces of meat.

Leastiest service I've ever seen

Unfortunately we were at the Riegele Wirtshaus for the first and last time today. Service is a complete disaster. When I asked about lactose, I was told I was asking.... I didn't get an answer anymore. Spezi was non-carbonated. Just under 24 euros for a Wiener Schnitzel with fries. I would be willing to pay at any time, but not for dry meat and soft fries. Food came to the table and the lady simply gave the plate to some guest instead of asking. To which I replied: the plate is mine, thank you. (Very polite) The waitress probably didn't think it was great to walk around the table (the table was really very big) and said very cheekily and he doesn't get anything... What kind of answer is that???? I'm sorry but this is really not okay. I understand that it's difficult to find good employees these days, but the fact that I, as a host, allow my guests to be treated like this is bottomless. Never again. Hopefully the operator will read this and change things so that no other guest has to experience this.

The roast pork wasn't my cup of tea. The beers were excellent. The ambiance is quaint and rustic. The noise level was quite high, as the place was busy. Parking is available.

I visited the Riegele Wirtshaus today and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the service was friendly and attentive. But the highlight of the evening was definitely the dark Bocksbier! It was rich and complex, with a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Overall, I can only recommend Wirtshaus Riegele - it is a must for every beer lover and for everyone who is looking for a cozy atmosphere. I will definitely come again!

Das Essen ist schwäbisch-bayerisch, die Karte liest sich toll, aber geschmacklich ist alles eher durchschnittlich. Wir waren etwas enttäuscht. Zudem sind wirklich überall, sogar in den Toiletten, Sprüche, die Alkohol bzw BIER total verherrlichen. Für eine Brauerei zwar verständlich, aber in der heutigen Zeit, wo Alkohol zunehmend als gesundheitlich gefährdend eingestuft wird, es viele alkoholkranke Menschen gibt und man Kindern auch ein Vorbild sein möchte, nicht zeitgemäß. Wir werden nicht noch einmal hingehen.

When it came to the bill, we were overcharged for one portion of fries. The situation was so clear that one has to assume it was intentional. This doesn't work at all in a restaurant with a great atmosphere.

Always worth a trip! I can particularly recommend a 9-beer crate with different types of beer! It's a really great place to try out all the different varieties and maybe discover your new favorite beer. Add a pretzel, sweet mustard and white sausages and the day is yours! By the way, it's also fun in the toilet and in the bar! There are beer-related sayings and quotes on the walls everywhere. Feel free to take a few minutes to explore everything :)

It started out quite well. The lady who showed us to our tables was incredibly nice, but then things went downhill. The waitress was clearly not in the mood and was quite rude. The food was okay; we had a fairly wide selection, from roasts to burgers, dumplings, cheese spaetzle, and onion roast beef. The best part was the burger; everything else was lacking seasoning. The fried potatoes would have been delicious, but they could have made them more fried. The ambiance is very nice, but that only helps so much.

We arrived without a reservation and got a table for two. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and we were very satisfied.

I was very impressed, the location is very cozy and authentic. Definitely invites you to linger! The food was also great! I tried the burger and the roast and both definitely impressed me. We sat at the bar because there were Christmas parties going on throughout the house. It was so fun and entertaining because the waiters were all very friendly.

On Saturday we were there after the FC Augsburg home game. A reservation was definitely necessary. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food, both main course and dessert, were perfect. The look of the economy was really nice. Definitely deserves the 5 stars.

Excellent food, very good atmosphere but regarding the Service I am a little mixed. Maybe because I come from Bremen, but I found the waitress cold, bordering on rude. But otherwise everything is on top.

One of the best breweries in Bavaria. An absolute MUST on a city trip to Augsburg. The beer garden, which is usually open from the end of April, is also highly recommended, especially for families. There is a larger play area waiting for the children, which can be easily observed from the table 😉

The location is very cozy, the service is super nice and you feel like you're in good hands. Hence the 4 stars. But the food wasn't that convincing. My friend's käspätzle were super dry and my meat wasn't medium rare but English even after giving it back, it still wasn't ok. On the whole, going out for a drink is fine, but you should still think about what to eat.

The Riegele, an old town brewery, which was established in 1386 has been a great historical find for us. Charming brewery with quirky sayings on the walls. Huge pub style windows and doors to lighten the mood and observe the occasional train roll by. If you want traditional Bavarian food and outstanding Bavarian beer this is your place in the heart of Augsburg across from the main train station. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menus are both in German and English which greatly reduces the anxiety level when picking out the perfect selection. I recommend trying the Schweinebraten with brat Kartoffeln (Roasted pork with fried potatoes).The gravy is full of savory flavor and the cut of pork is tender with just the right amount of fat. We frequently visit Augsburg and this is a nonnegotiable stop!

Very popular place. Reservations are recommended in the evenings - even during the week. Stylishly furnished, friendly, approachable staff. The menu that I had in front of me was quite clear in terms of the dishes. Nevertheless, I was able to find something for myself. The fried pike perch with potatoes from the daily menu was very good. Maybe I should have ordered a side salad with it. Would have fit well. Without the salad, the dish is quite hearty as it is fried in butter or ghee. A soup with coconut milk, which I had, would have been better at home, but it was OK.

Nice inn, but very, very loud. Service nice and quick. Zander fillet with herb potatoes is a rather dry affair. Without vegetables or salad. The little blob of curd didn't rip it out. Potatoes dry and tough. Zander very dry.

Not recommended! Onion roast, which was supposed to come medium, was ultra rare. Plus no good meat and spaetzle from the bag that was cooked in dumpling water. Around €30 for that is a disgrace

Horribly bad food! Meat ordered medium rare and served raw. After the complaint, there were suddenly other side dishes on the plates... Probably the person sitting next to me also complained. Dumplings watery and mushy. When you cook red cabbage, you put the spices in a spice bag so you don't chew on the cloves all the time. The food on offer is far too expensive for the cuisine on offer! Not recommended with food, the beer was very good and served quickly.
