It wasn't too salty or oily, but rather fragrant and layered. The noodles had a slightly charred, dry aroma, and the beef was crispy but not dry. The other side dishes were very flavorful; the eggs, bean sprouts, zucchini, onions, scallions, and cauliflower combined to create a multi-layered "dry and fragrant" flavor. 4.7/5 🗣️ It gets very crowded during dinner and weekends, with some conversations inside. This is absolutely unacceptable. We've been customers for years and order quite a lot, even though we've found all sorts of things in our food, like a hair or a thread. But what's completely unacceptable and a no-go is putting a bead in the food! Do you use beads to dry chicken in the kitchen, or how am I supposed to explain this? You really need to start thinking about workplace hygiene. Never again Ganesha! 😡

The food at the Schwarzen Kreuz is truly outstanding – top-notch, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and families with children are also very welcome. Unfortunately, we've noticed for some time now that attempts to make reservations – whether several days in advance or on the same day – are repeatedly rejected with a "We're full." The usual explanation is that larger groups of 12 to 16 people are present. While this may be understandable from an organizational perspective, it becomes increasingly frustrating when you consistently don't get a table.

Very cozy atmosphere! The server was friendly and quick with service. We had two dishes and salads. The salad was an iceberg lettuce with a vinaigrette and a single olive. The beef stroganoff was not like the American version as there were no egg noodles. The meat was a tad gamey. The spaetzle was a huge portion with fried onions; it tasted like a good Mac n cheese. It’s more like a side dish.

We had a table right by the entrance. This table is more of a last resort. Therefore, one point deducted for ambiance.
