Super leckeres Essen, ein Späßchen ist willkommen. Es ist eine einfache Kneipe. Die Karte nicht unglaublich groß, aber einfach Lecker. Wir würden es empfehlen

Wir haben heute im Restaurant kurz nach der Bestellung nachgefragt, ob die Rahmsoße Schwein bzw. eine Fleischbasis enthält (vegan/muslimische Ernährungsweise). Die Nachfrage wurde leider direkt patzig aufgenommen. Nach längerer Wartezeit kam die Aussage, man esse „mit Schwein doch sowieso“ und „denken Sie nicht drüber nach“. Wir haben daraufhin freundlich gefragt, ob wir stattdessen etwas anderes bekommen könnten. Uns wurde dann nach weiterer Wartezeit gesagt, es sei „jetzt zu spät“, da die Knödel bereits fertig seien. Am Ende bekamen wir nur Knödel ohne Soße oder richtige Alternative. Zudem wurde uns erklärt, dass sämtliche Soßen auf Fleischbasis seien und es keine vegetarische Option gäbe. Sie haben nichtmal Kräuterbutter angeboten. Nicht jede Küche muss vegan oder halal anbieten aber ein respektvoller Umgang mit berechtigten Fragen zu Inhaltsstoffen sollte selbstverständlich sein.

Authentische deutsche Küche und ruhige Atmosphäre. Kein Touristenort. Sehr gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten und sehr, sehr leckeres Essen.

Sehr lecker gegessen zu passablen Preisen. Ehrliche Nummer. Wirkt auf den ersten Blick vielleicht etwas einfach, war aber alles top.

Sehr leckeres, bodenständiges Essen ohne Schi-Schi. Der empfohlene Beilagensalat war sehr lecker für nur 4€. Für Rothenburg auch moderate Preise und die Bedienung war auch super drauf und immer ein Spaß auf den Lippen. Weiter so 👍🏻

Sehr kleines Restaurant, aber sehr gutes Essen. Wir hatten Schweinebraten und Sauerbraten. Beides hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir wurden vom Service sehr gut empfangen und freundlich bedient. Das Ambiente ist vielleicht nicht so urig wie in anderen Restaurants der Stadt, dafür aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Von uns gibt es eine klare Weiterempfehlung.

Waren die einzigsten Gäste in dem Restaurant. Keine Atmosphäre, keine Deko nichts ansprechendes. Waren in vielen Restaurants in Rothenburg. Alles sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll. Essen war okay. Auch wenn lieblos angerichtet. Sauerbraten mit Klöße. Kein Rotkraut, nichts dazu. Kein Wunder das.ds keiner kommt. Günstig war es auch nicht.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, wir hatten Pizza mit Kartoffeln und Schnitzel mit Champignons und Kartoffelkroketten. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Wir waren zu zweit dort Mittagessen. Eine kleine gemütliche Gaststätte. Das Essen war sehr gut die Leute sehr freundlich. Keine lange Wartezeit. Abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte. Preise waren angemessen. Wir haben außerhalb der Altstadt geparkt. Kann das Lokal empfehlen.

Das Restaurant ist eher bei Einheimischen als bei Touristen beliebt, was sich in den Preisen und der hervorragenden Qualität widerspiegelt. Ein Besuch zum Mittag- oder Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein gutbürgerliches familiengeführtes Restaurant lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Sauerbraten ist ein Gedicht. Der Salat 🥗 aus ordentlich gut mit einem pikanten und unaufdringlichen Geschmack. Vielseitige Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Ich habe hier immer sehr gut gegessen.

Schade, ich habe mich den ganzen Tag auf den hochgelobten Sauerbraten gefreut. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir unfreundlich angeblafft, nachdem wir keine Reservierung hatten, dass kein Platz sei. Dann wurde sich umgedreht und wir standen wie begossene Pudel. Mehr kann und möchte ich nicht dazu sagen .....

Das Fleisch war echt zärtlich. Allaes was wir bestehlt haben, war hausgemacht, köstlich,und lecker. Die Bedinug war auch super freundlich! Freunde kann ich sicher dieses Restaurant empfehlen zu besuchen. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt im Stadzentrum. Die Ambiente ist angenehm! Danke!

Fantastische deutsche Küche im Familien-Stil! Die Gerichte sind köstlich und werden dampfend heiß serviert. Wer abseits der Touristenmassen authentische deutsche Küche genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Große Portionen, herzhafte Aromen und eine gemütliche, lokale Atmosphäre.

An inn like it used to be. Great, friendly, and fast service. A roast pork, my grandma couldn't have done it better, cooked to perfection, super tender, and delicious dumplings. Very good food. The sauerbraten is amazing, and the pork fillet with porcini mushroom sauce and homemade spaetzle are delicious. Friendly and attentive service. The whole place looks clean and tidy. Thank you. If we're in the area, we'll definitely eat here.

Central Franconian dishes are simply served and of the finest flavor. The simplicity and hospitality of the service defines the essence of this inn. Since it closes early in the evening, lunch is recommended.

Quiet and unique restaurant Friendly service Hearty meal

The reception was very reserved and not a friendly greeting. This is the first deduction for a good restaurant. Do they generally assume that guests only come in once because Rothenburg is simply overrun with tourists? A big mistake and could cost valuable customers. The prices for drinks also seem to be somewhat randomly set or incorrectly calculated, with a 0.2 liter water costing the same as a Coke. The food was, despite everything, very good, tasty, and fresh. Not like ready-made sausage. I'm happy to give it 5 stars! However, the prices for the food are more tourist-oriented. Charging €10.50 for a currywurst with a couple of fries is quite extreme.

Stumbling upon this restaurant turned out to be a happy accident — we hadn’t realized it was Fronleichnam and most shops were closed. Despite arriving in the late afternoon with a group of ten, the restaurant welcomed us warmly. The food was truly excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the delicious food and wonderful service! :)

For a late lunch/early dinner, we had potato dumplings and creamed roast with spaetzle and salad. Very tasty home-style cooking.

If you want to eat in 5 hours, you can come. We've been waiting for an hour to be served. Incredible, only one waitress for everything. Unacceptable.

Very unwelcoming, it seemed like we were a bother. Unfortunately had a negative experience here. I was waiting inside by the "wait to be served" sign with no one coming to me, despite there being a number of staff sitting looking at me from the back of the restaurant. Finally, not knowing what to do I asked them "are you open?" The response was... "The door's open" after which, I asked if we could sit outside (there were many tables) and the response was simply "no." Haven't tried the food but definitely wouldn't recommend this place based on its service.

We went there because of the good ratings on Google but then found that the restaurant was closed even though Google said it was open. We could have saved ourselves the trip!

They don't indicate at any point that it's closed until April 4th. A touristy place like Rothenburg, I think, needs updated information and they shouldn't give you the tour at all.

Today I went to the Landsknechtstubchen with my parents. And I was very positively surprised. Excellent price-performance ratio, friendly service, simple but tasty dishes, and the spaetzle was definitely homemade. I can only recommend it.

Hello, we had roast pork in dark beer sauce and spaetzle as well as sauerbraten with dumplings. Both were decent portions and very tasty. Very good home cooking with lots of a more than fair price.

Cute place down the street from our hotel. Reasonably prices with a good selection of food. Our kiddos found something they liked and I was able to get some tasty German cuisine.

Ate here for lunch. Sausage was good but the sauerkraut was even better! The butter on the pork is awesome too!

Price performance is not right here at all. But this is a general problem in Rothenburg's old town. Outside the city walls, things are cheaper and much better.

After our city tour, we were looking for good Franconian cuisine and found it in the Landsknechtstübchen. Around 1 p.m. there was a lot going on everywhere in the city, but since the restaurant is a little out of the way towards the city walls, we were able to get a seat for two people. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the order or the food. For the price, the food was excellent and we would come back at any time. We had the pork loin with porcini mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle as well as just a large portion of spaetzle with porcini mushroom cream sauce. Each with a side salad. The salad costs a small thaler extra, but it is definitely worth it. Very tasty dressing!

An incredibly delicious roast pork is offered here. Rarely get such tender meat for the price. Nicole, the waitress, is incredibly friendly despite the stressful business during Advent. We will definitely come back.

It may seem like a small portion, but I was glad that it was just the right amount since they came with a salad. The balance is great. The beer is delicious and has a small capacity. It's a bit far from the main area, so it's actually nice and cost-effective.
