Wir hatten hier ein wunderbares Familienessen, und alles war hervorragend. Das Restaurant hat ein wunderschönes, authentisches bayerisches Ambiente, und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Essen war köstlich, frisch zubereitet und wurde in großzügigen Portionen serviert. Alle in unserer Familie haben ihr Essen genossen. Der Service war den ganzen Abend über freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Gegend auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Ein echter Glücksgriff für ein Sonntagsmittagessen! Keine Touristen, nur Einheimische. Das Essen war köstlich!

Der Service sowie das Essen waren sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist landestypisch "urig" und somit sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Absolute Empfehlung !

Wir hatten den Leberkäse mit Spiegelei und das Hirschgulasch. Zuerst zum Positiven: Getränke und Essen kamen sehr schnell, man war freundlich und der Leberkäse war gut angebraten. Die Beilage zum Leberkäse waren Bratkartoffeln, allerdings solche, die wohl schon länger im Kühlschrank gelagert wurden (teilweise weiß und schmeckten nach Kühlschrank )und ein paar mehr Gewürze vertragen konnten. Für 15€ aber annehmbar. Nicht annehmbar war das Hirschgulasch für 22€, das wohl frisch aufgetaut war. Teilweise waren die sehr zähen Fleischstücke noch kühlschrankkalt. In der Soße haben sich das Fett und die anderen Bestandteile voneinander getrennt und Gewürze waren wohl beim Aufwärmen vergessen worden. Freundlicherweise hat der Kellner das Gulasch von der Rechnung genommen, jedoch nur nachdem wir angemerkt haben, dass wir mit unserem Essen nicht ganz zufrieden waren. Wir können das Lokal also eher nicht empfehlen.

Sehr lecker mit super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis, Service auch sehr gut und aufmerksam. Leider riecht die Kleidung stark nach Essen, wenn man wieder raus geht.

Sehr gutes Essen und sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten Spargel und den Grillteller. Es war sehr gut.

Seit Jahrzehnten einfach nur gut! Hier gibt es ehrliche, sehr schmackhafte Gerichte in ordentlichen Portionen zu angemessenem Preis. Dazu das Personal mit Herz & Seele, das einem das Gefühl gibt, willkommen zu sein. Für die ganze Familie von jung bis alt eine große Empfehlung!

Very cozy atmosphere! The server was friendly and quick with service. We had two dishes and salads. The salad was an iceberg lettuce with a vinaigrette and a single olive. The beef stroganoff was not like the American version as there were no egg noodles. The meat was a tad gamey. The spaetzle was a huge portion with fried onions; it tasted like a good Mac n cheese. It’s more like a side dish.

Today we ordered rump steak (well done), Stroganoff, and apple strudel – everything was delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, the service excellent, and the prices perfectly reasonable.

We had a delicious meal here. The staff was very nice and friendly. However, you should reserve a table.

Discovered on a side street during a stroll through town. Traditional inn with good, home-style Bavarian and Croatian cuisine. No exorbitant prices, friendly service.

The waiter is extremely friendly, attentive, and competent, as he practically manages the entire restaurant single-handedly. Some of the food is quite expensive these days. However, there are also plenty of dishes on the menu that offer good value for money. Reservations are essential, as the restaurant is usually at capacity.

The menu features a wide variety of dishes, both Bavarian and Croatian. Seasonal dishes (currently asparagus) are also offered. The restaurant has a family atmosphere, and everyone is very friendly. The food is delicious, and reservations are recommended, as it gets very busy after 6:00 p.m. We highly recommend this location.

Service and speed are good. The food is a joke for the price. Most dishes lack salt and pepper. The salad is simply dressed with vinegar and water. Charging €22 for a Wiener Schnitzel with fries is a joke. Not recommended. You can get better food elsewhere.

Very quaint restaurant with friendly service. Unfortunately, my Wiener Schnitzel smelled and tasted like old pork. The fries were quite oily. The prices in the photos are far from accurate.

The service was super friendly and fast! Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly tasty. It lacked seasoning, and the fried items tasted of old grease. We've had much better food elsewhere. However, the prices were relatively high for the quality.

Beautiful, old, well-maintained building. Quiet atmosphere. Friendly, attentive staff. The food is delicious and of high quality. I had a pork cordon bleu with buttered spaetzle and mixed salad. It was very tasty. The meat didn't have an ounce of fat, which is often the case in other restaurants. For dessert, there was a hot apple strudel with cream and vanilla sauce. It's highly recommended. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended. It's best to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is always busy.

I really enjoyed my time at Loisachstuben! The place looked lovely and the atmosphere was great. I tried the asparagus soup and smoked trout — both were delicious! The apple strudel definitely made my day.

Both my spaghetti Bolognese and the salad were carelessly prepared. The spaghetti was overcooked and seasoned without any subtlety. Unfortunately, I didn't like the side salad either. The "dressing" was mostly vinegar and was inedible. The restaurant was well attended, which surprised me. Maybe I was just extremely unlucky today...

Went there for food because of the good reviews. Service super friendly and nice atmosphere. However, we were a little disappointed with the food. Price performance is rather difficult compared to the competition. 22€ for a simple schnitzel with fries, you would expect something different.

The waiter was not particularly friendly, and I really don’t understand why German restaurants dislike splitting bills. If there are four adults dining, of course, we’ll want to split the bill. No need to be lectured or to hear disapproving noises like a six-year-old. The food wasn’t great, but the best thing about the experience was that the food was served quickly.

Very good food, very friendly service and a very cozy restaurant. Highly recommended. We always go to the Loisachstuben when we are in Garmisch.

So 4 Americans walk into an empty restaurant with maybe 5 people there- to be told “we’re full”. Go figure. FYI, we were 2 married couples in 50s and 60s.

The Loisachstuben are an institution. Great ambience and excellent food. Bavarian and Croatian food is offered in very good quality. The service is attentive and friendly. There are no long waiting times here.

Excellent restaurant with outdoor seating for good weather. We ate here four times during our holiday and we’re never disappointed. The staff were really friendly and spoke English if you needed it. Grilled trout was fantastic. There are Croatian dishes on the menu as well as German, we will definitely try them next time. Would definitely recommend. You need to book as it is always busy.

Absolute recommendation for good food in Garmisch. The innkeeper is very attentive, friendly and funny. We had a very pleasant time there and the food was excellent.

The food was good overall (only the side salad was much too sour), large portions and prepared relatively quickly, and the prices were really affordable. Overall, the service was pretty on point and was able to deal well with our group, some of whom spoke English. There were also cards in English. We would come again!

The food was very flavorful and exquisite, and the portions of the meal were pretty big, therefore very balanced. The restaurant was cosy and the personnel was very kind and helpful. We recommend booking a table at least the day before because it's full almost everyday.

The food was simple Croatian cuisine, but wonderfully normal and tasty. The ambience inside is a bit old, the staff was in quite a staccato mode processing the orders. I doubt whether children are really welcome in the restaurant.

The Loisachstuben restaurant is an absolute insider tip for lovers of local cuisine. The dishes are excellently prepared and perfectly reflect the regional cuisine. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and competent advice that rounded off our experience. Highly Recommended!

Simple menu with schnitzels and Yugoslavian dishes. Unfortunately uses ready-made products and bagged sauce. If you're looking for Bavarian cuisine, you'd better find it somewhere else.

We wanted to have dinner here this evening. The restaurant states online that it is wheelchair accessible. It's not and we've never been treated like that at a restaurant and literally thrown out. There were problems with the door as soon as I entered. Inside they just watched us instead of holding the door open. Inside, they said hello and then they wanted to put me (sitting in a wheelchair) and my husband in a corner, away from the rest of the guests. However, the path was too narrow for a wheelchair. Then we discovered a small table among the other guests. The employee called out, but the table was screwed tight. ??? Huh. I parked perfectly, my husband wants to take off his jacket when he calls the employee again, “because we can't stand still, the guests have to go past. A horse was able to come by but now we had enough. As I was leaving I just said he should delete wheelchair access from his website. The answer: he tells his boss. No apologies, no hello. Definitely not recommended.

Soup tasted like greasy water, grill plate only had streaky, fatty meat. The best thing was the gentian schnapps from the bottle… we would have expected something better given the prices…

Es war Porzellan in den KäseSpätzle und Pommes hatte dunkle stellen.. Mit der Reaktion auf das Porzellan waren wir auch sehr unzufrieden..

Wir sind spontan vorbei gekommen und haben trotz vollem Haus noch einen Platz bekommen. Essen und Service waren so gut, dass wir zwei Tage später nochmal wieder gekommen sind!

Wir kommen bereits Jahre in die Loisachstuben und sind immer zufrieden. Das Essen ist lecker und der Inhaber und die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich.

Essen war ganz gut etwas viel Soße auf dem Teller und die Auswahl der Speisen war auch nicht gerade viel. Man kann trotzdem dort Essen gehen Preis/Leistung Verhältnis stimmt.

We had a reservation based on a rec from our hotel and sat outside. Waiter knew a decent amount of English and we ordered based on his recommendations. Service was good, wine pour and Croatian wine were good and beer was typical for Bavaria. The pork in a mushroom sauce with potatoes and broccoli was decent. My husband ordered meatloaf and potatoes-I loved his potatoes and ate them all, but the meatloaf interpretation was definitely different-it was what Americans would call “Spam” from a can. It is a definitely a place locals go and was very filling.

Auf der Suche nach einem einheimischen Restaurant sind wir hier gelandet. Gut zusammengestellte Speisekarte, leckere Gerichte, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service von Gastgeber war top. Wir kommen wieder.

Bestellt wurden käsespätzle und die waren wirklich sehr sehr gut ! Gratis dazu habe ich sogar noch einen tollen Salat bekommen. War super lecker. Hab’s mir zum mitnehmen einpacken lassen

Wir sind auf einem Sonntag an diesem Restaurant vorbei geschlendert und entschieden uns kurzfristig dort zu speisen. Es war zwar super voll, haben aber trotzdem schnell einen Tisch bekommen. Der Kellner war super freundlich. Das essen war super lecker & auch sehr schnell fertig. Der Vorspeisensalat stand innerhalb weniger Minuten auf dem Tisch. Das Hauptgericht kam, sobald wir mit dem Salat fertig waren. Haben dann noch ein Dessert & ein Hauptgericht zum mitnehmen bestellt & auch darauf mussten wir nicht lange warten. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend & eine absolute Empfehlung!

Nachdem man unsere Kurze (9) nachmittags netterweise ohne Einkehr/Verzehr problemlos auf die Toilette gehen ließ, entschieden wir uns nach einem Bummel durch die Stadtteile, zum Abendessen in die Loisachstuben einzukehren. Es war rappelvoll, aber der supernette Kellner hat uns trotzdem schnell einen Tisch zurechtgebastelt. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und angemessen bepreist, die Stuben kuschelig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Eine klare Empfehlung!
