I was here for the first time in years on March 4th. I read in the comments that the owner has changed and the quality and service have increased. In my opinion the pizza was very tasty and I was very satisfied. The two young, very nice ladies prepared my order ready for collection within 10 minutes and immediately greeted me in a friendly manner and served me. Super! And getting three (small) pizzas for €15 is almost unbeatable given the quality. I'll order it and will be happy to come back, thank you
Delivery time ok, pizza delivery person very friendly, but unfortunately the food itself wasn't that tasty. The tagliatelle was plain tagliatelle, too soft, the salmon was dry and the sauce unfortunately wasn't great. But the food was hot.
The room appears flashy, comfortable, warm, almost luxurious. Almost........In fact the tables are not covered by tablecloths but, as in a diner, recently hygienic placemats, on which plates and cutlery, probably synthetic, are placed. The waiter, when the customers leave the table, passes us a sponge and voilà, on to the next one.
We took advantage of it on 23.XII. 2023 of the buffet (cost €38 each, €19 for children). The choice was wide and of good quality. However, the tray with smoked fish (also excellent) was sadly almost empty at 7.30pm and was only replenished when we were leaving. The spoon for the warming dish with "mediterranische gratin" (modest) was encrusted with potatoes, making it difficult to serve, and it remained so. The fact that the beer served to me was not cold was very typical of a GDR restaurant. Ditto the failure to clean some obvious food remains that fell onto the carpet while the waiter was serving us.
The cost for drinks was, of course, generous. But charging a bottle of water (0.75 cl.) the sum of €8.20 is like raiders in the desert.
When it came time to pay the bill of €230.10, I only had 0.90 cents left. to the waiter who had treated us with disdain and inefficiency, perhaps because he considered us modest and inexperienced customers, given that we did not dress elegantly.
Illustrious restaurant server, always remember "cucullus non facit monachum"!

Worst restaurant experience ever in my entire life! We were on our way to Austria, stayed one night in Ulm and went here late in the evening to eat a quick pizza. The food was mediocre, the wine bad and the service below average. But then the real circus act had yet to begin: when we asked for the bill (59 euros), they only wanted to accept cash; any form of credit card was unknown. We didn't have enough cash with us - in Belgium they look at you as if you come from another planet if you don't pay with a card. We tried everything: payconiq, immediate transfert, it was apparently also not possible to find a pin machine in the neighbourhood: "all banks are closed!". The owner himself was called and arrogantly told me to leave my identity card until I would show up with cash, which I of course refused: the plan was to continue our journey early the next day. He then ridiculously shouted at his staff to call the police, an order that was not followed; he clearly did not really have his troops under control. After some bickering back and forth, the matter was finally resolved by immediately transferring the amount to the personal account of a staff member who then transferred it to the account of the restaurant. Unless you want to experience an episode of Falwty Towers live, one piece of advice: pass this restaurant by!
Okay, but definitely not good. The prices are rising at what feels like a rapid pace, but the quality of the food is not improving. I'm particularly disappointed by how cultures are mixed there and the best example is cevapcici with tzatziki. Yugoslavian cuisine is mixed with Greek or Turkish cuisine. I either offer Sutsuki or Köfte with Tsatsiki or Cevapcici with Ajvar. If you want something vegetarian, you will often be disappointed because you either have to go to the salad bar or be prepared to spend €10. It's good that menus 1 and 2 are co-financed by the employer, but otherwise it's not so great. I would take the criticism seriously because many of my colleagues and I don't want to complain via email because then the side of the fence is clear.
This restaurant is absolutely not recommended and is a life-threatening danger, especially for children.
After my daughter saw a muskrat lying dead next to the climbing frame and I pointed it out to the staff, things changed for an hour. Nothing. Or probably not at all anymore. We left after just an hour.
The climbing frame is also life-threatening, one side has broken off, and if a child were to lean heavily against it, it would crash from a height of 2 m, just as the screws associated with it are completely rusted and stick out about 15 cm. There is also an absolute massive risk of injury for small children, the entire area is very littered and run down and not maintained at all.
After no service came for three quarters of an hour, we asked them about it ourselves. They then came very quickly and were friendly. However, the food is also a cheeky, carelessly prepared sausage salad where you have to eat two to get full for €12.50 or €12.90 or even €13.90. I don't know anymore, it's just a shame at the end of the day.
I will never visit this beer garden with my daughter again because it is too dangerous. After all, you have to remember that a dead rat right on the children's playground can transmit countless disgusting diseases.
This may happen outside, but when you point out not to react to it, it just shows me how much we as guests are worth here, namely nothing but bringing and paying money
The burger was pretty cold, and the meat was way too compact, lacking both juiciness and flavor. The fries were dry, and the homemade lemonade was overly sweet. On the bright side, the presentation was lovely, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I just wish they’d focus more on the most important part: the food.
Today I ordered a pizza using Lieferando. My delivery time was supposed to be 15:50. I waited till 16:10 and tried reaching them through their land phone..I tried 5 to 6 times and after that they responded. The reason why I orders the food online is because I am sick and I need to take my medicine, so before that I need to eat my food. Luckily they attended my 7th call, they were not even listening anything. They simply saying that the delivery will take another one hour and they simply cut the call. I paid the money and this is what I am getting from them. Never ever in my life I will order at this restaurant.. if I give could them 0 star, which is what they deserve, I would have given that. Unfortunately 0 star is not possible in this review system.
“A wonderful restaurant with a stunning terrace! I had the pleasure of eating here after setting up a decoration, and I was thrilled. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and lovingly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was simply perfect. Highly recommended—I'd love to come back!”
