I actually wanted to order a table, I checked the opening times online beforehand, ok... because you can sit inside even in winter, not just in the beer garden. You can really see that. But when I called, the answering machine came straight away and explained that they were closed in the winter months and that they only accepted groups... well, we're not exactly a group of two. But the fact that it still says “Open”...! That could have been put there in one sentence. I'm a bit disappointed with this kind of behavior!!!

On September 21st, 2024 we were with a group in the beer garden. Drinks and food were ok, music can be debated, but the conditions in the toilet area were terrible. So I can't recommend this to anyone!!!!

I was very disappointed with the food. The food was very salty. The Spätze were bought and not homemade. When I asked the staff about it, there was no response. The only positive thing is that there are play areas for children. I can't recommend it any further.

Unfortunately, it's rather below average when it comes to the food. It's ok for a few drinks!

We have known this beer garden for many years and were there again yesterday. It may be ok to charge over 17 euros for a schnitzel with fries (without salad) but then I also expect a freshly made schnitzel. Throwing it frozen into the deep fryer really doesn't work. The snack plate with wings and nuggets was swimming in oil. That's really not possible given the prices. The beer garden itself is still really nice and the service was also very nice. The food came very quickly, so there's nothing to complain about either. But it doesn't taste good at all. The three of us paid almost 70 euros for schnitzel and a snack plate with drinks. There is definitely still room for improvement.

Friendly staff and a nice location, but unfortunately it's no longer affordable to go out for a meal with the family. Schnitzel with fries €17.30 plus a small mixed salad for €5.90, a total of €23.20, but no drinks yet.

Went here yesterday for my father's birthday dinner. I would have preferred to read the reviews first. I ordered a dumpling with mushroom cream sauce and then had food poisoning. The toilets are pretty much the dirtiest thing I've ever seen. Absolutely not recommended!

I had to give my turkey schnitzel back because it wasn't clear whether it was fried fish or meant to represent turkey. It tasted like fish. It was taken back without hesitation with the boss commenting “it all tastes the same, it’s turkey” 😄 What?! I was then allowed to switch to the pork schnitzel, which tasted better, but wasn't that great. It was ok. Even the fries were nothing. Our child's string sausages were disgusting too. First the roll was forgotten, then they brought a hard baked roll. I was surprised that our child ate anything after I tried the sausage... Attached is a photo of the discolored “string sausage” One thing is clear: by far the worst meal we have had in a long time!!

It's not a lie that the goods are regional, from the metro. The playground was probably open when we were there, but we took the children away again, it doesn't look so normal anymore. With the drinks you had to draw attention to yourself more often. One, it's full, it would have taken time, but we just waited. Toilet, yes I know both sides, sometimes clean, sometimes dirty. When I saw someone run to the toilet with cleaning supplies and later as we were leaving the person brought drinks to a table that was it for me. I don't know much about hygiene but I think it should be done more covertly.

Der Biergarten befindet sich in der Freidrichsau. Er ist großzügig angelegt mit alten, schattenspendenden Bäumen und einem Spielplatz. Ich habe die Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat gegessen . Es war sehr Gut. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

The ambience is okay, the food wasn't good at all, salad tasted like a ready-made salad, schnitzel was frozen goods, spaetzle with sauce were sometimes hard. I would have a nice drink there again, but nothing more to eat.

Very nice beer garden. Friendly service. We had the Teutonia plate and the Swabia plate. Didn't have a long wait. Food was good. We recommend Teutonia. There were a lot of families with children there. Beer garden for every age group.

The ambience is nice, but that's about it. The food doesn't taste good at all and is just warmed up industrial products. The potato salad is ready and probably coming out of the bucket. The Maultaschen were cold and only warmed-up Citizen Maultaschen. The bread with the sausage salad was dry and not fresh either. The sausage salad itself wasn't really Swabian either. It was also very expensive. For 4 dishes with drinks just under 75 euros.

Beware of rip-offs: €17.30 for an oily frozen schnitzel is a disgrace. The currywurst was okay. The staff was unable to recognize that guests at our table had long-standing empty glasses.

The beer garden is cozy, large and clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the food wasn't hot, the spaetzle was a bit hard and I bought it myself, the mushroom cream sauce from the Swabian plate gave me some health problems, the side salad was very vinegary and the toilets weren't very inviting. I actually thought it was a shame for such a place with a beer garden.

Beer garden itself is very nicely located. But here it comes. There was a large group at a table that wasn't served. The table a meter in front of us is already there. One half is self-service, ok so far, opposite with service - where we were. Very unprofessional. But the best thing was the fact that the staff seemed very rude and disoriented. It was too stupid for all of us. Got up and will avoid this place in the future. Therefore no rating can be given for the food.

### Rating: 3.5 stars Overall, the visit to the Teutonia beer garden was pleasant. The location in the middle of Friedrichsau is excellent and offers a beautiful environment to relax and enjoy. I ate the Friedrichsau plate, which was very tasty. The portion was generous and the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The selection of drinks is also good, and I chose an Almdudler and a Spezi. The Almdudler was refreshing, but unfortunately the Spezi was diluted with water, which affected the taste. Unfortunately I have to deduct points for this. Nevertheless, the Teutonia beer garden is worth a visit. With small improvements to the drinks the experience could be even better.

There is a self-service area and a service area in the beer garden. We were in the service area. Food OK. There is typical Swabian cuisine, Gold Ochsen beer on tap. The service is very good. Despite the large number of guests, the service is friendly and quick. You sit in the shade under trees. I noticed that many tables were reserved towards the evening. All in all, I can happily recommend it.

Had dinner in the beer garden in Teutonia last night. Ordering drinks took a while because no service came automatically. You can only order food again on demand or look for a waitress yourself. We ordered Käsespätzle which were microwaved and totally hard. So reheated several times and almost no cheese on it. As the meal progressed, the spaetzle became so hard that half the plate could no longer be enjoyed. And the goulash tasted very good but the bread dumpling was totally cold and hard. Kösespätzle cost 13.90 euros and the goulash 18.00 euros. Great for such a meal. I was there a year ago and everything was fine. My tip, dear chefs, is not to just warm everything up and prepare more fresh food given the prices. Then you'll be happy to come back.

The food was a disaster, the Kässpätzle were inedible. Hard, no cheese really terrible. Then I had to go to the toilet, which was an imposition. They definitely hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Salad quite good, schnitzel unfortunately (probably) frozen, spaetzle didn't seem freshly made either, fries were limp. So: you can have a drink here, the atmosphere is nice. But we won't eat here again.

EDIT 06/2024: After a long time we visited the beer garden again today and were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly, the currywurst with fries tasted great and the atmosphere was great. We will be back! Well... like this, like this. In itself a nice location, the friendliness and suitability of the waiters as well as the quality of the food unfortunately fluctuate greatly, probably depending on the rush and the staff currently present. Even if the staff situation is really difficult, as long as the guest pays the full price, 100% must be delivered, otherwise my long-term outlook is black.

Beim Publicviewing kein Essen aus der Küche, da anderes Abteil zum sitzen (2.Klasse?). Leute, die im Bereich ,,Essen,, sitzen und nur teinken werden nicht aussortiert. Kleine Bildschirme, auf denen man nichts erkennen kann. Überall Bäume im Weg und Sonnenschirme zu niedrig.

I have been to Teutonia several times because there is unfortunately no other beer garden in the area, but I have never been convinced by the service and the quality of the food. But today the bird was really shot. A Malania plate was offered on the daily menu. For €14.20 I expected it to be a large salad or a bowl or something similar. However, what I got was a plate with 6 slices of cucumber, a tomato, a bit of feta, olives and hummus. For the price it's just a disgrace! I complained and since I didn't want to take it all out on the wait staff, I was offered to speak to the chef. But of course he didn't have time at that moment. That says it all... Now I've finally been here for the last time.

Due to the lack of alternatives in Ulm's Friedrichsau, the kitchen and service can seemingly afford anything here. The food is unimaginative, tasteless and far too expensive.

Absolutely no recommendation! At maximum capacity during the Germany game, only a tiny “bar” at which - of course - a queue of incredible size forms. The waiter wildly insults guests who inquired about ordering from him. The screens are neither synchronized nor equipped with speakers. Mmn.: Find another location :)

The staff is extremely unfriendly. When I asked if I could order something from the waiter because I didn't have any cash with me, I was told that I couldn't and that I should just go to the nearest ATM (which was over 10 minutes away). He advised me to either get cash or not be able to order anything (even though the card reader was inside the bar). Something so unkind has never happened to me, especially because he insulted me!!

Super tasty sausage salad! My favorite for this year. My friend was also excited about his Teutonia record. We can only recommend it. However, I had to notice that the quality suffers somewhat during peak times (nice weekend). But it still tastes good. The service is quick and attentive. Super nice beer garden. We called to make a reservation, they said it wasn't possible and then we get there and the best table was reserved. Then a very bad-tempered waitress came and only gave us the drink menu and was angry when we said that we wanted to wait for friends.

The ^playground^ is life-threatening. The entire wooden structure is rotten and some of it has already rotted away. Everything is very wobbly. The trampoline is completely neglected and the carousel is still turning with difficulty and making a loud noise. Everything should be closed immediately.

A great restaurant, super tasty! A really great and great service in the restaurant. More attention could be paid to the toilets. But that's just the only drawback.

Nice place nice staff. Just stopped in for a drink. Went there on the weekend where football was being played in the stadium and it was quite early and relaxed and we were served straight away. We've known it's always a nice place to take a break here for more than 40 years.

At first everything looks good: beer garden, menu, service... but then the crash comes. The food is sometimes barely edible, the toilets are like a train station, full children's diapers are flying around in the hallway in the bucket that is far too small and overfilled, repeat orders are coming only on the 4th request... all of this leads to: never again!

Update. I'm here again and really disappointed. The food wasn't good. The roast was frozen too long and you can taste it. The dumplings are not handmade but in packages. The schnitzel... questionable consistency, the fat in the deep fryer is not fresh. The fries almost cold. The food came before the drinks. The waitress has disappeared into Nirvana, and when it's cleared away, no one asks if the food was OK. The toilets also have their best days behind them. Everything dirty and unkempt. There was definitely no one in there all day today to check and care for it. It's really OK here to sit and have a drink. I don't like eating here anymore. Beautiful beer garden. The food is really good and the price is great! The staff are quick and very friendly. Respect for the people who really perform well in the gravel. The beer garden is very large. I always enjoy coming here. There is a huge playground and trampoline for children. Thank you for your service and hospitality!

Five years ago I gave it a good four stars. Unfortunately, my application had to be revised after the last visit. I ordered a pork schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce: Schnitzel, frozen and then into the deep fryer. Spaetzle, not homemade and of poor quality, white and floury. Sauce, from powder or packets. The meal cost just under 18 euros, which is a shame one less beer garden that you can visit in Ulm when the weather is good.

The beer garden is located in the middle of Friedrichsau Park. There is a full service section and a self-service section. The food is typical of a beer garden, rustic but delicious.

Food doesn't taste good. Everything tk or out of the bag. White wine was spilled on me and the waiter ran away and never came back. Not recommendable. Bad resteraunt.

Unverschämte Preise und die Qualität der TK waren die es anscheinend dort gibt sind es nicht wert. Schweinelendchen mit Käsespätzle und Pilzsoße für 21,90 € und dann alles noch kalt 🤮 Es waren nur zwei kleine trockene lendchen auf dem Teller und die maultasche war gefühlt minus 2 grad kalt. Mein Schnitzel Wiener Art war das reinste TK Produkt das aus der fritte kam und Staub trocken war.Pommes waren ebenfalls nur lauwarm und lätschig 🤮

Ich habe ein Hänchen mit Pommes gehabt, Essen war ein totaler Reinfall, die Pommes zum Abgewöhnen das Hänchen trocken wie ne Schuhsohle, nach meiner Meinung Finger weg von den Warmspeisen die Sie anbieten, die Kaltspeisen sollen besser sein Wolfgang Herrscher

Nice Restaurant with local German food. I wasn't opportuned to see their menu The building need a little bit renovation. We had our end of the year party at their restaurant and we have nothing to complain about the food. We were presented a wide variety of food for meat lovers and vegetarians. Desert was included too. I ate Schweinebraten and Semmelknödel. It was well made. The waiters were also friendly.
