Very nice beer garden when it's busy bring time food good and plentiful

The ambiance and acoustics, including the music, were excellent. The food was acceptable, but not to my taste.

Rustic beer garden, changing music program

Having to wait a good hour for a drink isn't normal. There were two lines where you first had to buy a drink ticket. Then you could get your drink at the bar. Unfortunately, they were completely understaffed. They probably needed four of those cash registers. Even for women, the line for the restrooms was about 45 minutes. So, our evening consisted of waiting somewhere far too long. It's a real shame; such a beautiful location could definitely be improved upon...

First of all, a huge compliment to the bar team. The drinks are amazing. And if there's something wrong, they immediately correct it in a super friendly manner. It couldn't be better. We were at the Italian Festival and enjoyed fantastic music. Great

Very pleasant, good atmosphere, good bookings, nice bar, friendly staff, everything is perfect for a good rave.

The place charges 15 euros for a bit of music plus a ticket for the aftershow that no one wants to go to. Just make it free.

We're a Bavarian and Austropop band, and we were supposed to perform at the Liederkranz on June 6, 2025. At least, that's what the Liederkranz had agreed to in writing. About five weeks before the performance, we dropped off the promotional posters as agreed. We noticed that we weren't mentioned on the large poster at the entrance to the Liederkranz listing all the events. Hmmm, okay... We emailed Mr. R. (CEO of the Liederkranz) to ask if the performance was really going ahead. He emailed us two days later to say he'd completely forgotten about the date. His idea, if we were still interested in the performance (yes, we are... we were), was to drum up some publicity beforehand. We told him that it was fine with us and we were looking forward to June 6. We also included two more questions in the email. For a week, nothing happened – no response from the Liederkranz. And that's just two weeks before the performance. We've also been drumming up a lot of publicity. On Friday, we thought we'd call directly to clarify everything - voicemail (with a request for a call back - nothing). On Saturday, we had a gig (where we normally announce our upcoming performances) and sent another WhatsApp message to Mr. R. Nothing - not even a few days later was the message read, let alone replied. Well, we're 10 days away from the performance, after all. Now, the most outrageous thing of all. Today we had to read the following in a post on the Liederkranz Facebook page: "The performance by band xy has been postponed to June 6th" ----- um, that's when we were supposed to perform. So, dear Liederkranz officials: It's a disgrace, an impertinence, and the lowest of the low, the way you're treating us (and perhaps other musicians) in this case. It wouldn't have been a problem for us if Mr. R. had said, "Sorry, I overslept, let's reschedule." But with this kind of business dealings, we're out of MITEINAND'. Thank goodness there are still honest promoters out there, and we don't need you. Maybe your contribution will make one or two bands reconsider whether to go through with this. NOT US! You don't deserve us!!!

I'm glad we have something like this in Ulm.

Finally, after a visit to the zoo, we went to Liederkranz. Ate and drank something with live music. A nice end to the day. Very happy again.

I didn't eat anything and service is only available as self-service. Long queue for payment, long queue at the bar, but the atmosphere was great, beer garden

We went to the Blues Mothers and Exodus concert last Friday. After two interim requests, we waited an hour and a half for our paid meal. The first time: “Come on.” The second time: “The note was lost”. The third time (after the table behind us, who came and ordered long after us, was almost finished with their food): Without any comment or apology, the plates were slammed down in an unfriendly way. My husband had Kässpatzen, for €12.50, a mini portion, lukewarm and now just a lump. Then his patience was over and he brought the plate back and said, you can eat the food yourself. Reaction: What should we do now? He just said: "I don't care" He then asked someone from the staff where they could complain. The friendly gentleman told him he was sorry, he would pass it on, but unfortunately he couldn't do anything. Conclusion: €12.50 was not refunded and I was hungry. Disastrous organization when it comes to serving food and drinks. It's a shame that was the last time we ate there. Certainly never again.

Great for chilling out and listening to music, hanging out with friends and partying. I didn't even try food, there's a good restaurant around the corner. Often good music there like techno and house music and also shows like this fire show, so that's totally fine. Best regards

We attended the Latino evening at Liederkranz. Music sound system in the stage area was very loud, barely audible at the entrance area.

Very nice atmosphere with toilet trolleys and a small children's playground. However, the dance floor (events also take place here) doesn't work at all. The area consists of coarse gravel, which is very difficult to dance on. Attention: only wear shoes that can be cleaned well or thrown away afterwards. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because there is nothing there for me due to intolerances on my part.

Was there for the Spanish festival, the beer garden is great but the food is too expensive. We paid €12 for Spanish cheese and ham and didn't even get full. Organization not good either. Don't come anymore.

Spanish festival in Liederkranz? Rarely laughed so much: mini portions that have almost nothing to do with the original in Spain. And all of this in cheap cardboard containers at mercilessly inflated prices. Anyone who lets themselves be made fun of here has only themselves to blame.

a beautiful beer garden that I have always enjoyed visiting. Staff very nice, good drinks at a reasonable price (not cheap, but average in Ulm). The food - cheese spaetzle with onions - was not satisfactory for €12.50. Spaetzle from the discounter, Zweibel okay. Taste so-so. At night it's more like fries!

Attention for all musicians out there!! We've been waiting for our agreed fee for 6 months! And we're not the only band that feels this way...it's a cool beer garden in itself, but not paying the musicians we've booked is an absolute disgrace!!!

Eternal waiting times at the self-service drinks even though there wasn't much going on. Staff (seemed like the boss was there too) and organization were a disaster. Then the non-alcoholic beer/wheat was out - 2 hours after the event started. This shouldn't happen. We didn't eat anything, but we noticed from surrounding tables and in the queue that it was anything but smooth and satisfactory. It's a real shame about the good events/artists that you don't want to visit them for such reasons.

Das Lokal "Liederkranz" ist sicherlich ein einzigartiger Ort mit einer besonderen Atmosphäre. Kulinarisch betrachtet kann es nicht unbedingt mit Gourmet-Restaurants mithalten, jedoch punktet es mit einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die häufigen Foodtrucks bieten eine preiswerte Alternative und verleihen dem Ort eine vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen. Ein bemerkenswertes Merkmal des "Liederkranz" ist die Skate-Halfpipe, die eine ganz eigene Dynamik in das Lokal bringt. Die Möglichkeit, frei zu fahren, verleiht dem Ort eine lebendige und ungezwungene Atmosphäre. Der Hauch von Berlin zeigt sich durch die skatenden Jugendlichen, die Foodtrucks und die Offenheit gegenüber jungen Menschen. Die Vielfalt des "Liederkranz" spiegelt sich auch in den verschiedenen Veranstaltungen wider. Von Rapkonzerten bis hin zu Technomusik-Events, das Lokal bietet Raum für kulturelle Abwechslung. Wenn man auf der Suche nach einer lockeren Umgebung ist, die eine Mischung aus kulinarischen Freuden und urbanem Flair bietet, könnte der "Liederkranz" definitiv einen Besuch wert sein.

Schöner Biergarten mit alten Gebäuden, viel für die Kinder, unterschiedliche Musikveranstaltungen, Essen sehr gut, Wartezeiten waren ok.

Schöner Biergarten mit tollem Unterhaltungsprogramm und großem Musikalischen Angebot

Schöner Biergarten von der Örtlichkeit. Essen war in Ordnung. Man könnte noch das ein oder andere verbessern. Salatteller war enttäuschend. Zu teuer für paar grüne Blätter und paar Gürkchen. Hähnchenbruststreifen mussten im Salat gesucht werden. Personal bis auf eine Ausnahme unfreundlich und unflexibel.

Alles im ganzen sehr gemütlich, nur das Essen dauert sehr lange bis es kommt ca. 1 1/2 Stunden, die Köche lassen sich sehr viel Zeit auch wenn wenig los ist. Die Gläser sind auch nicht immer ganz sauber könnte besser sein.

Leider wurden wir am Service Tisch komplett vergessen. Nach 20 Minuten haben wir selber bestellt an der Theke. Auf das Essen mussten wir 1 Stunde und 10 Minuten warten. Auf Nachfrage wurde gesagt unser Essensbestellung wurde erst vergessen. Dann kam unser Essen teilweise unvollständig und mit fehlenden Zutaten. Auf Nachfrage nach Öl etc. wurde man wieder vergessen. Für einen trockenen Flammkuchen 13€ zu verlangen ist auch ein Wucher… Es wurde kein einziges Mal gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir haben uns allgemein mehr vorgestellt. Das Ambiente ist sehr kühl. Keine bis kaum Deko. Die Musik ist gut. Wir hoffen sehr das in Zukunft mehr auf Feedback eingegangen wird.

Der etwas andere Biergarten für diejenigen die nicht (nur) 0-8-15 mögen gibt es seit Mai einen Neustart im Liederkranz. Mit viel Aufwand und Mühe wieder hergerichtete Location mit abwechslungsreichem Programm. Leckere und etwas andere Speisen, leckeres Eis und nette Servicekräfte. Kleiner Spielplatz mit Bänken, so dass man auch gut mit (kleinen) Kindern dort verweilen kann. Toilettenwagen voll in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder!

The venue is pretty awesome, in the middle of the park. Food and drink wise, it's a tad more "sophisticated" than a traditionnal beer garten. There is live music on a regular basis but given the configuration of the place, weither you want to chat or to enjoy the music, all configurations are possible. There is a spielplatz for kids and a skatepark as well. 10/10 will come back.

Dieser schöne Kulturbiergarten wurde richtig toll zum Leben erweckt. Über das Essen kann ich nichts sagen, wir haben nur was getrunken, aber das Bier, Radler... schmecken. Der Service, sowie alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Was mich auch freut, ist, dass ich diesen WC Wagen bisher immer ordentlich angetroffen habe, hoffe das bleibt so.

Has potential, not yet realised. It’s not open enough and when it is, there isn’t enough live music. Would be the perfect venue for an open mic.

Super Location sehr freundliches Team

Nette Location, aber alles ein bisschen heruntergekommen und lieblos. Könnte nach der Renovierung ein tolles Ausflugsziel werden. Dann gibts hoffentlich 5 Sterne.

Awesome party location with a variety of different artists and parties. Friendly staff. An alright selection of drinks, but there's never Weißbier although it's on the list. A bit on the expensive side, but not outrageous yet.

Tolle Gaststätte mit 🍺 Garten, gut bürgerliche Küche, gute Portionen und angenehme Preise. Oft finden hier Live Veranstaltungen statt, von einzel Sänger, Gruppen, Vereine bis hin zu DJ's!-alles wird angeboten Schlager,Rock,Pop,Dance,....Für Unterhaltung ist oft gesorgt, gute Laune,Hunger und Durst müsst ihr mitbringen. War mit Freunden am 7.5.22 im Liederkranz um für diesen Sommer in die "LK Saison" zu starten. Letztes Jahr waren wir nahezu jedes Wochenende. Der Abend war prima. Super Musik und die Getränke hat man schnell bekommen. Und da stehen sie plötzlich. Wie in Star Wars Episode 2 Angriff der Klonkrieger in der Arena von Geonosis. Überall gehen Lichtstäbe an und ein Haufen Stabkünstler wirbeln in der Gegend rum. Ein wahres Spektakel, welches gut zur Musik gepasst hat.
