HANS IM GLÜCK - ULM Münsterplatz in Ulm

Good place to eat some hamburgers, I was pleasantly surprised, very good as were their fries and variety of sauces. I liked the correct service and the decoration of the place. Price quality ok.

Today we were at Hans im Glück for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious, it's great that there is also a children's menu for kids, our 5 year old son was very happy about it. Price/performance is definitely right here. The only drawback is that the table next to the entrance on the left side of the window pulls a lot when the door opens and closes. The back wall is therefore also very cold when sitting. The stools/benches aren't that comfortable, there's just not something to lean on. The seating is also pretty tight and you don't really have any privacy, which is something you have to like. The women's toilets could be a little cleaner. Our waitress was very friendly and on the ball, she even suggested that a menu that we had put together would be more worthwhile and would be cheaper. We were with the Schlemmerblock there and were able to save 2 for 1 (main courses). The burgers, fries and the house sauces that were served on the table were particularly tasty. The refreshing drink was absolutely delicious (dragon fruit/guava/lime). Really recommended and we'll be back, but next time in a cozy place :-)!

Unfortunately, at 8 p.m. there were no more normal fries, only sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, service wasn't very attentive either. The table was not cleaned and the bench was stained

We spontaneously decided to go to a restaurant to eat a burger. We found a place without a reservation without any problem. The selection of burgers is large, but we found them a bit dry overall. This is also because the ingredients are saved. We ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, which was only topped with a strip of bacon - a bit too little for the size of the burger. In addition, sitting on the hard benches in the restaurant for long periods of time is rather uncomfortable. Otherwise the ambience with the incorporated birch trees is very nice.

My biggest problem was the waiters. They are inaccurate, careless and do not show due respect. Older people are also buried. When we ordered they forgot to bring it out but played on the phone. They were completely flippant and disrespectful. The standard drops dramatically when the new generation receives such education.

Unfortunately my visit this time was very disappointing. The burger was dry and carelessly prepared, the meat tasted bland and there was hardly any sauce. There was also extremely slow service - for fast food that was really disappointing. Given the prices, I would have expected at least the usual McDonald's quality, but unfortunately that wasn't the case here. It's a shame, I was hoping for a lot more.

Pretty restaurant with a birch forest look. Very friendly service. The food itself is a typical burger joint with convenience food. Rich selection, also vegan.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today with my wife but didn't know this was a chain. The selection of dishes is very extensive, and there are also plenty of options for non-meat eaters, even vegan dishes. The dishes are very tasty. You should definitely try the homemade lemonades. I think it's very good that there is a selection of sauces available on every table. This is also more environmentally friendly than individual bags. The young service team is very friendly and very attentive. The restaurant has a cool look. The toilets are very clean and also stylish. I can recommend this restaurant in Ulm and will shortlist this again on my next visit to Ulm. I would have liked to have my cheesecake with my cappuccino, but this was not possible due to the kitchen being busy. Nevertheless, I stick with my five stars. The prices are acceptable.

We were there for the second and last time. Unfortunately the service was very bad both times. The waitresses laughed, were on their cell phones and had fun, but probably had little desire to serve. We didn't get any cutlery or napkins, the tables weren't cleared and you couldn't order or pay without asking several times. The food was good, but relatively expensive in relation to the portion size and quality.

Today I wanted to enjoy a burger at this establishment with a good friend! However, the incompetent, unprofessional service specialist told me that they would not accept any more tables! There were enough tables available, but the staff didn't make any effort to serve them! Instead of explaining the situation to all the customers, the service person only told the first group what was going on and told everyone else "You heard it too, right" AN OUTRAGE! SUCH AN INSTITUTION SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED! MY WASHING MACHINE DON'T WORK AND I CAN'T EVEN EAT A BURGER!

Tasted very good. Fast and friendly service. Food came quickly. Sitting could be more comfortable. But everything is great.

Alex was amazing He explained everything to me wonderfully and recommended the most delicious self-made lemonades Unfortunately he is only there on a temporary basis otherwise I would be there more often (The rest of the team is definitely great too, but they're a little too "young" and openly dressed for me) I know part of the concept Doesn't change the fact that you did a great job as a team.

I had to check the allergen menu, but the chicken was gluten free and ordering it breadless made it a really solid meal. Super delicious fries too.

“Hans im Glück” in Ulm is also very nicely decorated and the food is delicious! The staff is also very friendly. Top! I would love to come back. The price was right, online reservation worked without any problems, which was a good decision because there was a lot going on. There are several parking garages nearby, some of which require a few minutes of walking. I would recommend checking online first to see which ones are free. Otherwise there would of course still be public transport.

I spent a great evening here recently. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and accommodating. We checked at regular intervals to see whether we wanted to order anything else or whether everything was OK. Unlike other restaurants, you don't have to wait 30 minutes before you can order or pay. Overall, I can only recommend the restaurant :)

I had a reservation. The service was really nice at the beginning and showed me to the place. But that was it. Then she never came back. We then ordered online. Unfortunately my input was completely ignored. Both my dressing request and my request to please leave out the onions, which I had specified. The bowl was generally really very inedible. The bread was totally hard. I left it full. You couldn't complain because no one came. The two waitresses who were there were just running or on their cell phones. We then paid online. It hurt to pay €20 for really inedible food. Hans will never be lucky again. It's a shame, it was different. Been there many times.

We were in Ulm with Schlemmerblock. Reserved online in advance. Had very nice service. Fast and uncomplicated. Very happy again. Thank you for the delicious burgers and cocktails. The Impostor was just right for me.

Large portions, fresh and tasty

Food very tasty, but unfriendly service.

It was our first attempt at this chain and we got a lot of recommendations (but these came from other cities, so I can only give the rating for Ulm). The reservation and seat allocation went quite well, something like that doesn't always work. The selection, ordering and delivery of food and drinks was surprisingly quick! Regarding my dish, there were three of us there, I can only say that it was nothing more than okay - my burger was only lukewarm, the pattie was a bit dry and the hash browns in the burger tasted “old”. My colleagues complained about cocktails because there seemed to be ZERO alcohol in them - after improvements, they were passable. After dinner, we had to get our train, we needed four announcements that we could finally pay in order to leave the restaurant (in the end we were a little more energetic about our desire to pay). The ambience was also ok, although many of the tables next to us were free but not tidied up. We will give the restaurant a second chance in January 2025 when we are back on site. According to our current assessment, we only give an average of three stars (which is not wrong in principle). However, I can't give a clear recommendation from the overall rating at the moment and I expected more. See you in January and then I'll give my final resume

Very very tasty food. These are the best burgers I have ever eaten. There is a lot to choose from. Also vegetarian. Very nice staff.

Food is ok and not that expensive. Unfortunately the quality varies greatly. Sometimes the burger is bone dry or the fries are still raw inside. But the service is subpar. I've been there a few times now and the staff changes all the time. The staff also feels very inexperienced and slow, even though there isn't much going on. We usually go in the afternoon and there is never a lot going on. You often have to call the staff. For example, the table next door didn't leave a tip at all. I gave her 4€ because I felt really sorry for her, but the service itself wasn't worth a tip.

We stopped in for a bite right after our visit to the Ulm Cathedral without any reservations. Both the servers speak good English and were very professional. The interiors of the place is wonderful. They have reasonable deals for both lunch and dinner( which I thought was great and is highly recommended). We were pleased with the service and food and definitely recommend this place.

Was in Ulm for the first time at the HIG. But I've already been to several HIGs in Germany! So far I've always been really excited and really enjoy going to HIG! Unfortunately this time the visit to Ulm was not so positive! The lady in service today was totally overwhelmed and the waiting time was very long! In addition, the fries weren't really warm and unfortunately the burgers weren't really warm either! I'm absolutely not used to that at other places! I don't know if I'll go to the HIG in Ulm again! It's a shame although I usually go to HIG often (in other cities) It's a shame ☹️

Attention does not deliver! Order on November 17th Didn't leave the restaurant in the evening and hasn't been refunded to this day. Ordered via website (Uber) and only found out after 3 phone calls to the shift manager that UBER wasn't delivering. Food OK but (also afterwards) catastrophic, unprofessional treatment of customers…

We had a great time at Hans im Glück in Ulm. The restaurant offers delicious burgers and has a pleasant atmosphere. The decor is attractive and the staff was friendly and attentive. We will come back in any case. We recommend!

The hamburgers are now at McD level... Ok but nothing special anymore. The golden fries were also more like brown fries. Everything is ok but quite expensive. The service was disastrous. A person at the counter who was 50% looking at their cell phone. 3 people standing in the kitchen talking loudly. (Still on the way to the toilet and back). 2 people served and one of them could only collect and was correspondingly stressed in contrast to the rest. We then had to wait 20 minutes until we could finally pay. We were there with Schlemmerblock and here the main course is just a single hamburger and no menu. But the menus are also so inflexible that they are of no interest to us. 5 years ago Hans im Glück was the new cool store and anyone who thought it was great 5 years ago will notice that it is exactly the same as it was 5 years ago.

It's incredibly cozy in this restaurant... The selection is huge,, also for vegans and vegetarians.. just great.. Unfortunately the prices are a bit high, but you can treat yourself every now and then 😃... The service is also very friendly and competent.. Everything was great... I can only recommend it!!!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell und das Essen war gut. Wir hatten das Abendmahl Burger+Beilage und Cocktail. Die Alkerholfreincocktails waren sehr lecker.

The food was really delicious and the service was top notch

The food is ok, not bad and nothing special. The non-alcoholic cocktails were rather a disappointment. I thought it was funny to see an unpleasant guy with his loud Tiktok videos on his cell phone. He knew someone from the staff and was allowed to freely harass other guests outside with his cell phone serenades. Then he did ten laps inside the bar, had a chat with someone from the staff and then finally disappeared.

Das Essen war sehr lecker...die Musik war jedoch zu laut..man konnte sich nicht unterhalten..trotz mehreren Anfragen hat sich die Musiklautstärke nicht geändert...zum Essen viel laut ...schade

Super Service. All the waitresses were very friendly and were always at the table quickly. The burgers were all delicious and the portions were reasonable for the price. The restaurant is very nicely designed and the toilets were also clean.

Hamburgers are tasty. Limonade was also good. Friets was ok. But the dips was not so good.

The food at Hans im Glück was very tasty. I had the classic burger as a menu with fries. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't have an eye on us at all (we were sitting on the edge) and we had to wait a long time before we could place our order. Only when we made ourselves known did she come to us. But she was very fit and explained the different rolls to us. We also had to wait a long time for the food, which I'm happy to do if it's tasty. That was it. We will be back definitely. A little tip: It's best to make a reservation, otherwise you might have to leave again

Unsere Reservierung am 5.4.2024 um 14:00 Uhr wurde freundlich entgegengenommen und der Empfang war herzlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den aufmerksamen Service unseres Kellners, der stets lächelte und sich wirklich um unser Wohlbefinden bemühte. Leider waren wir von der Qualität der Speisen enttäuscht. Die Pommes waren zu trocken und hatten einen unangenehmen Geschmack nach altem Fett. Die Burger erschienen uns für den Preis von zwölf Euro ohne Beilage als überteuert, und ihr Aussehen entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen an ein hochpreisiges Gericht. Des Weiteren fiel uns ein Mangel an Sauberkeit in den Toiletten auf. Es fehlte an Seife und die Spender waren leer. Ein defekter Wasserhahn wurde nicht gekennzeichnet, was zu unnötigem Wasserverschwendung führte. Insgesamt hinterlässt unser Besuch gemischte Gefühle. Wir schätzen den freundlichen Service, aber die Mängel in Bezug auf die Speisenqualität und die Sauberkeit der Einrichtung haben unseren Aufenthalt beeinträchtigt. Wir hoffen, dass das Management diese Anmerkungen berücksichtigt und entsprechende Maßnahmen ergreift, um die Erfahrung für zukünftige Gäste zu verbessern.

Das einzige was mich gestört hat war das Wachbecken im Wc Bereich, 2 von 3 Wasserhähnen gingen nicht und es lagen mehrere Teils gefüllte und Leere Seifen Behälter herum. Da könnte man die Seifenspender wieder auf Vordermann bringen und ab und zu mal wischen. DAs Essen und der Service waren Super

Hähnchen Burger war ziemlich trocken, Pommes lauwarm und die Churros waren einfach salzig und nicht essbar, auch nachdem freundlicherweise mit Zimt und Zucker nachträglich nachgewürzt wurde. Das Beerenpüree dazu hat auch nicht gut geschmeckt. Personal war freundlich, aber die Reservierung für 8 Personen war irgendwie nicht mehr auffindbar. Das Ambiente hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Personal wirkte zu Beginn teilweise etwas überfordert, was aber unter anderem durch Alex, unsere sehr sympatische Bedienung, wieder mehr als gut gemacht wurde. Trotz vollem Restaurant haben wir Essen und Getränke relativ schnell bekommen. Die Burger überzeugen sowohl geschmacklich als auch mit der vielfältigen Auswahl (neben Fleisch auch viele vegane und vegetarische Alternativen). Cocktails waren auch gut. Ich komme immer gerne wieder!

Wir hatten für 4 Personen am 31.12.23 bestellt und alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Trotz Personalmangel (wohl wegen Krankheit) war unsere Bedienung sehr, sehr freundlich und sehr flink. Wir wurden toll bedient und auch auf Angebote aufmerksam gemacht. Die Burger waren sehr lecker, ebenso unsere diversen Beilagen wie Süßkartoffel- und Goldfrittchen sowie die Salate mit Nussdressing. Rundum ein gelunges Silversteressen mit viel Spaß in sehr schönem Ambiente.

Extrem entspannte Atmosphäre, super Service von einem extrem netten Team. Alex hat uns bedient und hat auch noch die elfjährige Tochter cool beraten. Perfekter Restaurantbesuch. Deswegen 5 ⭐️

Hans im Glück Style War schon lange nicht mehr in einem Hans im Glück Restaurant. Dieses hier ist echt gut besucht und wenn man nicht reserviert hat muss man warten. Die Burger sind immer noch sehr gut und dir Limonaden schmecken auch noch sehr gut. Man muss hier dann doch mal seine 20 Minuten auf seine Burger warten, da der Laden eben sehr begehrt ist. Einen Besuch wert

Das Essen war sehr lecker, nur war an unserem Tag das Service- oder Küchenpersonal unterbesetzt - wir mussten eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten.

Würde 6 Sterne geben, es gehen aber nur 5. Alex super freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Ich freue mich jedes Mal auf den Besuch im Hans im Glück. Meiner Meinung nach, die mit Abstand besten veganen Burger. Würde ich hier wohnen, wahrscheinlich eine wöchentliche Routine :)

Waren jetzt das erste Mal hier. Empfang, Bedienung, Freundlichkeit und natürlich das Essen waren echt top. Denke das das in jedem HiG so sein wird. Was mich etwas abschreckt sind die Preise. 2 mal Burger/Pommes/Getränk fast €40.-. Waren in anderen Lokalen auch schon, preislich immer günstiger und mit ner ordentlichen Portion Pommes und das Fleischpatty größer. Aber wie gesagt „Daumen hoch“ und trotz der Preise 5 Stwrne!

Waschbecken waren defekt. Pommes waren kalt, wurden anstandslos und schnell ersetzt. 15€fur einen Burger ohne Beilage grenzwertig... Das Paddy ist nicht das größte.

Sehr nette Bedienung, Essen kam schnell und war gut. Die stille Limo ist sehr lecker. Es gibt leider nur ein funktionierendes Waschbecken in Toilette und Seifenspender funktionieren auch nicht. Bis auf diese kleine Beanstandung hat es uns gut gefallen.

Super lokation. Bin mit einem leeren Magen rein und mit einem vollen Magen wieder raus. Super tolles personal. Empfehlenswert!
