The service from the blonde waitress was extremely unprofessional; the food arrived cold after 30 minutes. The table was completely ignored by the server.

The food was okay. After a 30-minute wait, we received cold fries and a burger where the cheese wasn't even melted. The blonde waitress needs some customer service training. She completely ignored us. The bartender with curly hair and glasses makes the best cocktails and is amazing.

Despite having a reservation, we were given a table that might have been suitable for two people, but certainly not for four. We barely had any space, and the service was truly abysmal! We had to wait ages before we could even order, and then our food arrived before our drinks. When we wanted to order something else later, we practically had to hold up the staff just to be able to order anything at all. We had to ask three (!) times just to get a bottle of water. For that price, it's simply far too expensive.

We went back to Hans im Glück yesterday after a long time and were thrilled. We had reserved a table online for lunch in advance, but it wasn't necessary. The ambiance, as in every Hans im Glück, is lovely and decorated with attention to detail, from the bar to the restrooms. Everything was clean, and the incredibly friendly, highly motivated, and helpful server immediately took care of my son and showed him the play area, which was equipped with building blocks and located a little further back in the restaurant. Based on the server's recommendation, we opted for two smash burgers with fries and sweet potato fries and cheesecake. It was an absolute culinary delight, and we will definitely order it again!

That was great! I've always been very satisfied in Rosenheim, and now I can say the same about Ulm. Right next to the cathedral, friendly staff, good, tasty burgers, and a super iced tea. I'll definitely be back :-).

Food always taste good, they have options for Vegetarian. Drink options are great, we like there mango mint.Just like food i can say the service is exceptional, people are always smiling and asking if we need anything which i find rare in other places.

We were a couple who came to do take-away We were really hungry and we got two burgers and big fries It took almost 30 minutes just to get our stuff (even tho they told us it’s gonna take 20 minutes) and when we opened the burgers they were both burned without any vegetables inside (luckily we had some veggies at home) the bread was dry and the Pommes were burnt but at least we got a lot of them so there was something to eat For spending almost 40€ that was really devastating and we will recommend to never do takeaway there (I hope when you eat there it’s maybe better)

We wanted to eat at Hans im Glück around 4:30 p.m. today. The place was completely empty, but the waiter still didn't offer us a seat. When we asked, they said they only accepted guests with reservations. I explained that we just wanted to grab a quick bite and leave, as it was obviously quiet. Nevertheless, the waiter persisted and asked us to leave. I understand that there might be internal rules, but a little flexibility and friendliness would have been really appreciated. Unfortunately, this doesn't make guests feel welcome.

Good food but very dark lighting

We liked it and it tasted good.

The food was delicious, but the drinks took far too long to arrive. A Coke took 15 minutes, a beer 10 minutes, and dessert 20 minutes. The table wasn't cleared, even though the waitress came several times and brought something. The place wasn't really busy, which isn't really an explanation.

As always, the food was delicious and there was a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We ate here tonight, and everything was absolutely fantastic. Our waitress, Maria, was truly friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable with her. Our food arrived quickly, and all in all, it was a very pleasant evening.

We ordered food around 7 p.m. We even paid a surcharge for fast delivery. According to the restaurant, our order was already prepared and only needed to be "packed" for the courier. After continuously lengthening wait times, the order was simply canceled at 9:10 p.m. There was nothing in the order list or in the list of previous orders. The full amount was simply debited from my Visa card. Absolutely outrageous, if not criminal. The restaurant knew that the order couldn't even be fulfilled and lied to us for over two hours and then withheld the money for NO SERVICE.

Went there today! The restaurant has a very cozy decor. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. ☺️ The service was super friendly, and the food came very quickly, even though it was Friday night! A really large selection of vegan burgers and lots of different patty options 🌱 🍔

We've eaten at Hans im Glück a few times, and we spontaneously went there on Saturday evening, looking forward to the burgers. We were seated at a table by the bar and left sitting for 15-20 minutes. The waiters simply walked past several times. The manager simply gave off a stressed impression, which affected the entire atmosphere. Furthermore, an employee was reprimanded in front of all the guests in an impertinent manner. It was completely out of place. We then politely asked a waiter if we could place our order with him. He was very friendly, initially wanted to refer us to his colleague, but then took everything down anyway. Our drinks were served, very tasty sodas, then our burgers arrived... We were visibly surprised by the size of our burgers; they were half the size of our previous visits. Furthermore, ingredients were missing from the burger, and our fries were forgotten. It's also a shame that the price doesn't include a side dish. We haven't experienced this in other restaurants. Unfortunately, our waiter didn't show up until we were paying. We politely explained the inconvenience and offered an apology. The kitchen is currently very busy, with the restaurant operating at less than half capacity. The fries were listed on the bill anyway, but were canceled after we pointed out again that they hadn't been served. We would have appreciated some compensation for the wait and the inconvenience of ordering. The price/performance ratio was definitely not justified. We won't be visiting Hans im Glück again anytime soon.

The food is really good and there's a great selection, but it's also quite expensive. The service is abysmal, with endless wait times. The ambiance is great, but the benches are extremely uncomfortable. Okay with the Schlemmerblock voucher, but unfortunately not recommended without it.

We visited Hans im Glück in Ulm and were thrilled! The products were fresh, everything tasted great, and you could tell they care about quality. The service was friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt at home. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. We'd definitely be back!

Well-known in many cities. Unfortunately, we were unlucky that our order was taken but then apparently forgotten in the kitchen. After asking the waiter, because others who had arrived a while later had already had their food, we got our food two minutes later – but the hamburger was completely cold and the fries were lukewarm. It's a shame, as it tasted really good. It was very busy, so our waiter only came back to take the payment without asking if it was legal.... We also found the price for the portion of fries with spicy sauce, which was really small at €7.90, definitely overpriced. The drinks are very well presented, with lots of fresh ingredients. Bottom line: this was our third visit to this chain in our third city – unfortunately, we've had bad luck each time. We won't be visiting this chain again... what a shame, actually a really great concept.

The two of us spontaneously arrived around 6 p.m. The restaurant was half empty, and despite two requests, we weren't given the free seat we requested. The explanation was that many large groups might suddenly arrive and we'd use up space for a possible three. We thought this was a shame and briefly discussed the service among ourselves while sitting at an assigned table by ourselves near the restrooms. The manager overheard us, slammed her hand on our table as she walked past, and told us we could take our criticism somewhere else! Unacceptable behavior! We were looking forward to the food, but with service like this, we'd rather go somewhere else!

The food was much better at other restaurants, but the sweet potato fries were cold. After the meal, no server came to clear the table, and we couldn't place new orders. I wanted dessert, but couldn't order any. When I paid, I got my change back in 10 and 20 cent pieces. We only received cutlery upon request 🤦‍♀️ If you're lucky, you'd rather go to Stuttgart!

Fast service, friendly, you just have to be a bit more precise when ordering, we actually wanted a small apple spritzer but were brought a large one without asking...you never stop learning 😉, next time I'll just order more precisely, otherwise the food was completely fine.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience: very long waits for drinks, service that wasn't courteous or active, the table wasn't clean (many other empty tables remained untidy for a very long time). We had to fetch cutlery ourselves. And the restaurant wasn't even at 50% capacity. It was terrible—we didn't feel comfortable at all.

Ordered via Lieferando Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The taste was not convincing at all - I only ate it because I was hungry. The burger bun was completely dry, the fries arrived cold and the chili snacks were inedible. In the end we had to throw away half of it. Conclusion: There are definitely far better options.

A complete disaster! I wouldn't recommend anyone order from there. We don't go directly to the restaurant anymore. We were lied to, told that our order was ready and would arrive soon. Our order never arrived.

The delivery was completely cold and not properly packaged. The fries and onion rings were completely open in the bag. We couldn't really enjoy anything and had to immediately order more from the competitor.

The food (burgers) were very good.

The burger (beef) was dry, as was the bun; the fries had already collapsed, the second order wasn't even brought (and we didn't want any more); the waiters were polite, but "the customer is king" doesn't feel like much; the lunch menu (portions aren't particularly generous) is, in our opinion, too expensive for this.

The staff was a bit overwhelmed on weekends, but very friendly. Waiting times for orders were a little long, but the food arrived quickly and was of excellent quality. Unfortunately, supplying various delivery services seems to create a bit of a rush and longer wait for customers in the shop, which I find unfair. I personally went in, but had to wait longer with stressed staff because of people sitting on the sofa ordering food. Therefore: rethink the system or discontinue it as long as it impacts the shop's operations. The music in the shop was a bit too loud and, I assume, a "private" playlist of an employee. Be aware: not every customer will appreciate it! The fries and all the other products, however, were sensational. Therefore, the only point deduction is for the service.

Once and never again! The burger meat was a touch of nothing, the fries were completely oversalted. The quality is better at McDonald's than here. Unfortunately, the waitress was more concerned with her appearance and posture than properly performing her only job. We were seated right by the entrance, where we were hit by a lingering cigarette smoke from the adjacent smoking area. When we then set up our seats with the waitress Maria (both of us are asthmatics), we were given a sneer and uninvitedly escorted to a new seat in the back. Conclusion: I'd rather have an empty space in the city center than a dump like this. We'd rather drive the 90km to Stuttgart to Hans im Glück than eat in our own hometown.

We sat outside, which had yet to be opened, but that was perfectly fine. The atmosphere outside was very pleasant and relaxed. We were impressed by the burgers – the burger-less version in particular is a great alternative and pleasantly surprised us. We did have to wait a bit for the food, but it was worth it and absolutely reasonable. We would particularly like to highlight the service: The waitress was friendly and attentive and even offered us blankets, which is a really nice touch, especially outdoors. The fries were dry, a bowl was missing a crucial ingredient, and only when I asked about it was they told me it was sold out today. Furthermore, two out of three sinks in the women's restrooms are broken. I didn't feel comfortable and won't be visiting this place again. There are too many other burger joints in Ulm.

Long wait for service despite a moderate number of customers. Seating was inconvenient – 5 people at a table for 4, and no other table was offered, even though we had a reservation. The menu selection system was complicated and tiring given the many choices – it was our first time there. Overall – once, but won't return, as it wasn't suitable for our group.

I’m honestly puzzled by the glowing reviews I’ve read before coming here, because my experience has been nothing like that. The place is messy and unclean — I’ve seen cockroaches in the hallway and even in the restroom. . Makes me wonder how the rest looks like. When I mentioned the roaches to the staff they shrugged it off and said they know it but the boss doesn’t care. I’ve tried to give this restaurant multiple chances, because I believe anyone can have a bad day, but unfortunately it always been the same. The food is okay, but the atmosphere and service really let it down. The staff seemed uninterested and are often outside smoking. Especially one man made my stays very unpleasant. If you’re just looking for a decent meal and can sit outside, you might be fine — but for me, the overall experience just isn’t worth it.

Unfortunately, I can't share the positive reviews. Sitting on the terrace next to the cathedral has its charm and is really nice in the summer, but inside, all of that is lost. Inside, the restaurant seems unkempt and messy, not a great vibe. The seating is very cramped and uncomfortable. The food is average, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. I have to praise the girls behind the counter, though; they were very attentive and the welcome was friendly. Everything else... well... I can't recommend a visit. There are more relaxed places for burgers and cool drinks.

A very nice, modern place to sit. The burgers were delicious. They also have tasty gluten-free burgers.

Highly recommended. The seating is lovely both inside and outside, with a view of Ulm Minster. All the waiters were very courteous and friendly, especially Mr. Anas, who served us. If you're in Ulm, you should definitely stop by.

An employee of the place showed me to a table. I waited for about 15 damn minutes for someone to take my order. Then I asked the girl behind the bar if I could finally order, and she told me someone would come. Then another girl showed up and told me I had to order by scanning a QR code. I scanned it and got a message saying: "Sorry we are offline now. Try again later." I asked again if I could just order a damn burger since the site wasn’t working. She said she’d tell someone and that someone would come. I waited another 5–10 minutes and completely ran out of patience. Wasted half an hour of my life and left hungry.

Cool location, but we were disappointed by the lunch menu, which was a tempting offer for us. The menu said 7.90 +... We ordered and I asked the young lady if that was the right price, and the answer was yes. We ordered accordingly. My husband ordered a large beer. He also asked again if the beer was really included in the price of the lunch menu, and the waitress confirmed this. In the end, the bill came to 48 euros. We were shocked, and I questioned it again, and then she started explaining the price in a way that wasn't really understandable. That really isn't fair to us.

I'd prefer not to leave a review at all, but I have to. I ordered there and didn't get my food, and I didn't get my money back. So, I definitely can't understand how they can do so little for their customers. I definitely can't encourage anyone to order from there. I'm very sad, and I also lost money. In the end, everything was passed on to Lieferando, who then responded and said that the restaurant was responsible and that I should contact them, which I did. But I was simply told that, of course, they aren't liable if the delivery person doesn't deliver the food, but they write that they did. In the end, I definitely wouldn't do it.
